We found we had to load an app on our mobiles to order food poolside and when doing so I believe i completed a simple survey, I scored the room 8/10 because of the corridor and bath height.

Plus, we could hear every single footstep in the hallway.

Loud, horrible sound proofing of rooms so you get woken up early every morning by screaming kids in the hallways.

though corridors feel a bit bleak and unwelcoming
- Hotel mobile app is handy for ordering food/getting info/extra cleaning etc.

It's worth noting that he door between the room and the main corridor is very thin and not-at-all soundproof so all the noise from the corridor gets through to the room.

Long corridors with random sofas and chairs which on a rainy day would be depressing places to sit.

This hotel was nearly perfect:  potential opportunities to improve:  shower cubicle was not an ideal shape; hot food at breakfast could have been hotter; some of the equipment in gym is a little tired; some minor detailing in corridors, etc was not quite 5 star.

Our room was on the ground floor and the tiled hallway had almost nothing in it to absorb sound so we could hear every conversation of someone walking pass.

Waiting staff also can be overly friendly, we do not like being pawed over, we like peace to sit and in the School dining hall.

On the downside: over time, it is worth changing the cold lighting (energy-saving bulbs) in the lobby and corridors.

Its very clinical, no paintings on the wall , just plain white long soulless corridors that feel like a hospital.

To be a true 5 star I would suggest the following
Put a Quiet please notice at all bedroom corridor entrances - the corridors are echoey and noisy especially at night from noisy revellers -

but they weren't available in the buffet hall.

Small dislikes: 

- heavy room doors that do not slow close and so crash into the doorframe every time
- no soft lighting in the rooms
- strong lighting remains on in the corridors all night so some enters the bedroom through bleed

The breakfast is on the 8th floor and excellent choices full buffet style, with hand gel etc on each spaced out table.

but this is a huge newish hotel and some areas were vast and lacking in warmth and character ( the corridors to our room on the second floor resembled a multi storey car park, we thought).

The sheer size of the hotel can feel a little overwhelming at the start and there are fairly long corridors to walk down to get to your bedroom

The walkways to the rooms are large and spacious and a small suggestion would be that these areas could do with some plants in the hallway or pictures on the wall to make it feel a bit more welcoming.

but not enough to put me off from returning;

- spa jacuzzi could do with updating
- no full length mirrors in the bedroom despite plenty of room
- hallways could do with more deco
- lack of entertainment space for the amount of people.Also seems catered to an older crowd

A great stay overall and look forward to returning sometime

There is an unfinished extension to the rear of the building which can be seen from some of the hallways and the hallways themselves were a little plain with a lack of decoration.

And no matter whether you go alone, with your family or as a couple it's for everyone the best stay. In one word, this hotel is just:

Positives:
The staff are a credit to the hotel and definitely make it 5 star, we did not meet one that did not go above and beyond.

This hotel is a must-visit in Rhodes, and I can't wait to return.

This summer I vacationed in this hotel, for me it is one of the best hotels I have ever been to.

but it is really the staff that make the hotel.

Lovely stay at this hotel, it’s clean and spacious with good views, all the staff are very friendly, food is lovely & there’s lots of choice, beds and pillows are comfortable, enough sun beds for everyone

I really like this hotel I highly recommend it.

I can’t wait to visit again this resort and Rhodes island!

The hotel is approx 2.5 miles from Rhodes old town requiring transportation.

We stayed here in mid-October, 5* hotel which is in a great location for Ixia and Rhodes Town.

We plan to return to the resort next year.

Excellent service from the moment we walked into the hotel.

entertainment was the best we've ever heard and we've seen a lot of entertainment in other hotels .

We couldn’t name all the people we interacted with cos there was not one example of poor service.

Evening meal buffet service was poor throughout our stay, everyday we waited 10 minutes at least for drinks with one night not being offered drinks at all having asked the waiter twice - he said he was very busy.

although these look poor during the day, they come alive at night and get quite busy, and the atmosphere is totally different from how they look when closed during the day.

For us a poor first impression and in our opinion not what a 5 star hotel should do.

but are very weak and for 11 Euros ish it was poor.

but not least poor Marietta  who had to deal with request/ questions and never once let me down.

but awful main courses, poor quality meat, our only bad meal in 2 weeks.

Some of the entertainment at night was quite poor in our opinion namely the reggae night and sax night

There must be so much waste everyday from all of the uneaten poor quality processed offerings at the breakfast.

I read a couple of poor reviews before I came away, and after staying there I really can’t believe they were staying in the same hotel!!

As you head towards Lindos you feel as if you have arrived Rhodes and the sister hotel there we found to be of much better design and would recommend though the buffet was equally as poor

although the food was excellent, the service on this night was poor as my daughter had ordered a pizza which was cooked in a different part of the hotel and so arrived 20 minutes after mine and my wife's. !

We found the area outside the hotel grounds to be in a very poor undeveloped state.

This hotel couldn't have been more perfect for us to celebrate our anniversary!

Amazing hotel , went on a recommendation and we really enjoyed the whole experience.

The hotel was kept to immaculate standards, clean and tidy at all times.

That's the kind of hotel we stayed at and the kind if Team they are.

Just got back this week from a lovely 11 day stay at this Hotel.

The resort's excellence is evident across various facets, from its culinary offerings to its amenities and, perhaps most notably, its staff.

This is a wonderful hotel that goes to great lengths to ensure you have a lovely holiday.

Our second visit to this beautiful hotel and it won’t be our last.

Third time we have stayed at this hotel just outside Lindos and it gets better each time!

Lindos Mare was fab and I am really glad that we picked this hotel for our stay.

The hotel is in a fabulous and very quiet location.

The staff are amazing and nothing is too much trouble across the hotel.

There are a couple of superb restaurants within walking distance of this hotel and the beach is only a five minute walk.

The close location to Lindos - frequent bus service just outside the hotel, or taxis that cost 8 Euros are a plenty.

The staff throughout the hotel were always professional and very friendly.

I was here with my friend Ulrike and we had the most wonderful in this amazing Hotel Lindos Mare!

The hotel is spotlessly clean and well maintained by the excellent housekeeping staff.

but I did have a very sore back for a few days afterwards, so perhaps check through before booking

But I suppose that's what August is about as it was very busy at all times.

The pool was very busy with families so we decided to use the adult/chillout pool from then on.

but obviously very busy in the dining area and queueing for food.

It was very busy around the pool and very busy at mealtimes which caused issues with our three year old daughter.

If the main pool gets busy, we just pop back to our room for a little dip.

- I asked about the a la carte  dining  to be told to move away from the desk as she was too busy booking clients in  !

but very busy and the sun loungers with cushions are €35 for two.

but was quite busy and not an enjoyable experience, lunch & dinner was repetitive and I think we’ve eaten enough pizza and chips to last a lifetime!

The other bigger hotels next door were far too big, busy and loud for us.

but it was too busy for us,  we much preferred the low key friendly atmosphere of our hotel in the evening.

Sa Coma is v v busy and touristy, nothing authentic here, absolutely not our thing

We only went to the family pool which was always busy (maybe a bit quite lunchtime).

but we felt that as it wasn't busy , that they started clearing up so felt a bit awkward and slightly rushed and were not even offered any desert afterwards!.

It gets very busy on the train and we couldn’t get on the morning one

Probably 1 week was enough in this resort.

This was our second time at this hotel as we had such an enjoyable stay last year.

There are many things about the hotel that we enjoyed

Positive - amazing modern clean room and bathroom exceptional 
Staff friendly and helpful 
Asian restaurant the best meal 
Very clean hotel 
Buffet was hot 
Wine was decent 
Good Gluton Free separate toaster etc and gluton free beer.

Overall a very nice stay , part of a group of hotels so plenty to do if you want .Sa coma quite quiet

The pool area was nice, albeit small relative to other resorts.

Like i said it was a decent stay and overall the hotel is nice

You can also use other sister hotels for things like golf and water parks so there’s always something!

The hotel can not be faulted for its cleanliness, the staff work tirelessly to make sure the hotel is up to standard.

Despite a big beach and a few bars here and there, it needs rejuvenation to make if worth venturing out of the hotel.

The hotel is modern and spotlessly clean.

After all the above we had a great holiday and would like to thank the Hotel for giving us a nice holiday and pandering to our every need.

The saving grace for this hotel is the level of service you get in both the dining room and bar.

but really quite nice room, very quiet but looked over the entrance to the hotel next door so not a great view.

The best thing about the hotel was the staff, they were great.

The only issue at the hotel was the poor state of the sunbeds around the main pool, not a deal breaker

- no music around any of the pools and beds felt quite hard with no cushions
- no smoking areas in the hotel, so you had to leave the premises for a cigarette
- entertainment for adults was really poor and the bar area was always full/limited seating for adults to watch shows without children running around
- walked into Sa Coma for the night and wanted to run back to the hotel (full of tacky bars and shops)

Overall, we had a good 4 night stay,

We thought the whole food experience and diner was poor.

Otherwise, watchable acts, funny at times with regard to how poor the standard was.

Totally disappointing hotel for many reasons - 

I’ve wanted to stay at a Protur hotel for years and it’s a beautiful hotel that’s completely soulless ran by a poor maintenance team with incompetent staff 

On our arrival from our cruise we were soon deflated with this hotel … on booking in we were given no information except a QR code and felt a complete inconvenience to the rude receptionist.

but the next two nights were extremely poor.

The standard of food really is quite poor.

One surprise was the poor availability/quality of fishes and frutti di mare (it is an island after all); I also imagine vegans would not really be happy - most dishes involved meats/cheeses.

He is grumpy and his cooking skills poor.

Apart from Mr grumpy on the grill the only things I think they could address is the evening entertainment which was poor an over by 10.30 each evening after which the staff were quite eager to close up.

however the air conditioning was poor and when we complained that the temperature was nowhere near the 16 C indicated on the display the receptionist asked if it was 20 C?

but left after about 15 minutes, as the children running around, adults chatting noisily and poor visibility meant we couldn’t really see, hear or enjoy the entertainer.

This Hotel was a haven of peace and tranquillity- just what we needed after a busy year .I honestly don’t think I can come up with one negative  we enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to return to this gem

Be nice if the hotel went all inclusive or at least considered it an option for anyone wanting it.

My wife and I become first acquainted with the Falesia Hotel via Tripadvisor where it is listed Number 1 of 152 Hotels in the Albufeira area .

Definitely a 4* hotel - an excellent break in an amazing hotel

We had a great time, the hotel is everything you would expect from a 4 star hotel.

Had the most lovely holiday thanks to everyone at the hotel.

Great hotel, spotlessly clean, good food/drinks with a lovely poolside and helpful staff.

To get to the beach you have to walk through a neighbouring hotel.

Had a fantastic week at the hotel last week.

We were not staying at the hotel , as we are fortunate to be resident in Portugal , and lucky to be familiar with many of the great restaurants that the area boasts .

We have spent the most relaxing 7 days in this beautiful hotel.

This was our first time at a resort hotel as it was decided that as I was driving from UK down and back I needed to rest for 7 days (instructions).

Overall we had an extremely pleasant holiday made even more so by receiving such good service at this hotel.

We have been going to the Falesia Hotel for over 10 years and we absolutely love this Hotel.

The hotel was fabulous and was beyond our expectations.

Falesia is a lovely hotel in a slightly remote location.

This adults only hotel is well presented and very well maintained.

Clientele was older than expected mid October

The clientele at the hotel are slightly on the older side which I guess you would expect with an adults only hotel.

The majority of guests were older than ourselves and were largely from northern England.

The entertainment was a bit pants for my liking maybe aimed at an older crowd.

Things that could be slightly improved: 

Entertainment: The entertainment in the hotel wasnt the best I've heard/seen in previous hotels and seemed to be more suited to an older audience.

!, unfortunately we were not informed that the hotel and audience was catered more towards the older age of people, this was a bit of a shame, as we are late 20's

I know the hotel attracts a lot of older guests

Yet another excellent stay at this hotel mainly middle aged or older guests

but with no atmosphere what so ever, such a shame for the artists, we ended up eating out for the last four nites of our stay as my partner said he could" nt stand another meal at the restaurant, i think Tui really needs to advertise the falessia as an older persons hotel rather than an adults only as the description is a bit misleading, we spoke to quite a few other couples who stayed at the hotel and their thoughts were the same, its a shame as the hotel could be great.

Tui entertainment catered for an older clientele, it ran according to a schedule found in the lobby, French Boules 3pm, quiz at 4.

It seems to attract an older clientele and many repeat visitors which speaks for itself as to the high standard the hotel sets.

When we first started using the GOLD hotels we found the ages to be a lot older

Most of the guests were in their 60's or 70's so a little older than us,

We both got the feeling that the food was aimed more at slightly older people as the food was a bit bland at points.

There was entertainment most nights which was aimed at the older generations.

though as I said, I think the market for the Falesia is aimed at an older generation.

Evening entertainment very poor, we went out most nights.

The evening entertainment was mostly poor except for the amazing band   'D-String' who are not to be missed!

There were 6 people in our taxi and, without exception, we were all disappointed at the poor content and felt very let down .

Night entertainment was very poor, felt like sitting in a cinema.

The weather itself was probably the worst we have ever experienced in Portugal and as The Falesia is no longer TUI gold the lack of entertainers showed as during the poor weather there was no quizzes etc that in the past the entertainers would have provided.

The food is very very poor, lots of choice

- Rather old or just poor quality towels both in the room and at the pool.

In my opinion there are a few places the hotel can improve to really make it an outstanding 4* Hotel;
Quality of the food both at breakfast & evening meal was off a poor quality
Tea/Coffee should be brought to the table at breakfast.

This ranks as my worst holiday ever so I have listed a summary of the various disappointments: 

Hotel Lobby - very dated and a poor first impression.

My wife and I thought that both nights we ate here the Buffet food was of poor quality, and " lukewarm ".

Just really poor, bland, cold often below average slop.

but again – poor quality and not really worth the money.

The pool bar gets very busy at times and the poor staff just cannot cope when it does.

The drinks service is poor and it is quite common to have to wait 15 mins for your drinks order to be delivered.

For us its Achilles Heel was the poor quality of the buffet evening meal

After 2 days no tea coffee or milk in the room-when we asked at reception we were told it was only replaced once during a weeks stay-entertainment poor apart from the dance show.

However, if like my wife you cannot eat salads main courses very poor quality.

The Thomson Production Team don't come to this hotel so poor Harry, Amy and Josh (who are not trained singers and are all pretty young) had to come up with entertainment which largely relied on Panache.

There were some downsides, for example the air conditioning was poor and the fridge , which we had to pay for, didn't get very cold.

It was so good to see again Fotis, Ivan and Despina in the reception, Enias the hotel manager, Marilena in the mini market and Silvia in the clothes shop.

Without her there it is still a great hotel

Everyone at the hotel is always and always pleasant.

The hotel is defiantly well worth it's 5 star rating.

Another great holiday in this wonderful hotel.

This hotel really takes care of its guests.

The standard of service in all areas of the resort hotel is fabulous.

Great hotel and even better staff, fantastic choice of A le carte meals with the fantastic chef Nicholas.

Nice and beautiful hotel with good kitchen and different activities for everyone.

Snorkeling at the Hotel was lovely and we saw plenty of different fish each time we went in.

I got amazing food recommendation from the hotel manager and a supervisor recommended me the perfect wine with my dinner.

Everything about the hotel was great - we found the staff to be super attentive, they all work super hard to ensure our stay was brilliant.

We were so impressed and hope to return to this hotel as soon as we are able!

Beautiful room, very clean hotel, worth certainly its money.

The entertainment was poor and view restricted .

but when you can only order via the waiter or an app and demand very much exceeded capacity to supply, it feels poor value for money not being able to get a drink regardless of quality.

Visits to the toilet overnight were difficult and meant for poor nights sleep and grumpy starts to each day – a big negative all for the lack of some hand rails – NONE of which was the fault of the Hotel just our own wrong assumptions about how much of an issue this would be.

I don't think the poor guy ever has any time off!

After reading so many poor reviews about the cleanliness of other Greek hotels I can honestly say this please is very very clean, all the grout in the bathroom and the sealant were white, the cleaner didnt skimp on products either, she did a great job every day (I was gutted we didnt have any cash last on our last day, we put a lot on our room so settled up at the end,

If you have poor mobility then this might not be the place for you as the walk  from the beach is quite an incline, even if you use the lift which takes you down to beach level.
