Meal in the restaurant and daily breakfasts were good.

The breakfast buffet was quite nice if not over the top and the fruit was not old as suggested and the eggs were not disgusting.

The room was spacious and comfortable and the food was absolutely delicious!

Staff are pleasant, welcoming and helpful and i was particularly impressed with the help Kevin the Ops manager gave and went out of his way to make sure every stay was enjoyable.

This was then followed by a glass of champagne and a 3 course lunch that was absolutely delicious.

Every detail was perfect, the staff was great, the breakfast buffet had anything and everything you would expect.

Rooms were spacious and clean, buffet breakfast was very good and staff was extremely accommodating and helpful.

but the food was piping hot and delicious, as good as I would expect from a restaurant meal.

My room was  comfy and very spacious and so was the bathroom, unfortunately there were a few issues, I had no hot water n my sink, it was stone cold

Unfortunately dining experience at night not very good, had to return my meal as it was cold also felt the waiting staff were not up to standard need further training on table etiquette. 😡

And then breakfast the next morning was such a disappointment - we had to queue up for a tepid fry-up, after helping ourselves to a buffet that had run out of croissants and pastries, and offered no fresh fruit or salmon or cold meats or anything you'd expect from a hotel that advertised itself as  'luxury'.

but we got cold toward the end of the first.

I had booked a garden room which in reality wasn't a great idea once we arrived as the room was very cold due it being outside and unfortunately the heating system in the room was broke.

Overall we were very disappointed with the meal, it’s certainly not worth the money and barely edible when it is served virtually cold.

I immediately noticed it was cold  so turned the radiator up.

After a cold night we were up early for breakfast, we had the cooked breakfast 1 sausage, 1 bacon 1 egg 1 black pudding, beans and a few mushrooms, I asked for toast I got 1 slice and a pot of tea.

Toast arrived first and sat there getting cold and hard so we then struggled to get it replaced.

Quality evening dining  not matched by breakfast which was, frankly, a disappointment with very limited choices, cold toast and weak beverages.

The bacon was cold and egg Luke warm and all served on a cold plate .

unfortunately can’t say the same for breakfast, eggs were like rubber and sausage ,beans, bacon cold, think it could have been improved by an egg chef cooking to order, and can’t be to difficult to keep food hot, with the COVID situation it’s not easy I appreciate

although it's a shame the fire was not on in the lounge area, as it was a little cold.

but we were presented with two slices of cold toast, an unexciting fruit salad and the most bland and tasteless natural yoghurt (time to change supplier methinks) plus a pot of sachets of mustard and tomato sauce!

Also sequestered our group in a cold eating area for our dinner.

No complaints, no issues with a very friendly staff.

Above all what made our stay was the young team of Scottish youngsters who were polite, friendly and delivered fantastic service whether this was Rachel and Emma in the restaurant to Aaran and the bar team.

Spa facilities and bar/restaurant including complimentary breakfast were decent and all the staff could not have been more friendly to make our stay as enjoyable as possible.

This is the second time I’ve stayed here with the dog and it really is great, the staff are very friendly to us and the dog and very helpful.

but again, so friendly and nothing too much trouble.

but the dispensers not disabled friendly to use with one hand.

The service was outstanding; friendly, helpful and very responsive.

Despite being extremely busy all staff still managed to keep it friendly and personal.

From moment we arrived staff were friendly, courteous and so helpful.

This hotel is in walking distance to a open road shopping and neighborhoods which allows one to catch a flavor of Inverness with its beautiful gardens, electric car hookups and pedestrian lifestyle!

We were delighted to be able to use the spectacular gardens to capture our photographs and were lucky to have a sunny day for this too!

We stayed in Garden Retreat room.So peaceful and quiet with the main hotel only a minute's walk away.The room was spacious,spotlessly clean with large bed and comfortable sofa and modern bathroom.

No demands for exemption certificate as one of our party is exempt from being face wrapped 

We stayed in the garden rooms which are perfect if you want a wee bit of outside space.

However, we took our dogs with us on this occasion and had a lovely Patio Room which had access to the gardens which was great with the dogs.

Pleasantly  surprised  could not fault our room king room with garden view large room and spotless.

I booked the garden King room for my parents and my husband and I stayed in the hotel king room.

We were in one of the garden rooms and it was super cozy.

The rooms are quite nice and I really enjoyed the outdoor patio with the Inverness golf course only a few feet away.

Seems to be extremely popular with the golfing fraternity although I wouldnt know one end of a golf bat from another (lol) 

Our room was overlooking the golf course, super to wake up to the sunshine onto our balcony, although weather is not in the hands of the hotel team,

The room was a great size and our room opened up onto the golf course!

We loved the grounds and especially the view of the next door golf course from our little balcony.

Stayed here for a night on our Ruby anniversary on our way to the Isle of Skye,  Had an upgrade to a very nice room overlooking the golf course in the spa building which was a lovely surprise.

We have recently returned from our honeymoon here in this lovely hotel and would just like to thank all the staff for making us feel very welcome and thank you to the housekeepers for doing a great job on our room , from rose petals , cakes and Prosecco overlooking the golf course and welll done to Craig evans for doing his best meeting the safety requirements for covid .

We stayed in a room with a balcony looking over the Inverness golf course.

Our rooms was lovely with views over the golf course.

We really enjoyed our stay as the hotel was situated in a quiet area of the city close to the countryside and surrounded by the golf course.

I have stayed loads of times at the Kingsmills and they have maintained these standards for years now

The rooms are excellent with monster beds, especially in the Kings Club looking onto the beautiful setting of Culcabock golf club.

Highly recommend staying here rooms are decent size you are around 15-20min walk from the city center or a few min away from the golf course and a short walk across the car park from the spa facilities which is also really good

I was upgraded to a suite overlooking the golf course.

We had a patio with a view of very high wall and very slight lateral view of a strip of the golf course.

Had a nice suite with a patio overlooking the golf course which would be perfect on a summer break.

We had a kings room overlooking the golf course, very spacious with everything you needed.

We had a room in the Kings Club with stunning views over the golf course,we also dined in their resturant and the food was very good the complimentary drinks on arrival was a nice touch.

If they say you are staying in the “exclusive” Kingsmill club & spa please expect a mediocre 3 star hotel accommodation for a 5 star hotel price.

Have to say for the price it was really below par.

The cost of the package was £350pp which removing the cost of a platinum ticket at £165 leaves the VIP package charging nearly £200 for an average lunch and a bus ticket to the stadium!

but for 256 gbp it was way overpriced for what we received.

I am of the view that a guest had either put the wrong room number or done deliberately so someone else paid the drinks bill!!!

In addition, Inverness Train Station & the bus station is in the town centre & a taxi costs around £12-15 from the hotel.

So I was surprised when nothing was offered due to the inconvenience such as not charging us the extra £5 for our room (Room rate £105 and we had a £100 voucher), or a voucher for a drink/coffee in the bar or even use of a spare room to allow us a proper shower.

We had dinner in the restaurant on our first night and found it to be expensive for what you got.

But our overall stay was disappointing for the price you pay.

I was charged £1.50 for a cheap toothbrush!

No balcony or view to the golf course just a concrete wall 12 feet in front of the patio doors for the same price someone has to have a private veranda with a view across a beautiful golf course.

Not what I expected given the price of £770 for a 3 night stay.

We sat with dirty plates etc in front of us for a long time, nobody asked if we’d like more drinks, we asked for the bill then had to ask again to pay by card when nobody returned to take our bill.

The room was also directly over the front door to the hotel (avoid room 101 at all costs!).

but at that price breakfast should be included!

We paid to include breakfast and whilst the continental breakfast was good the cooked options were not good quality and there were limited veggie options.

Firstly, the room service was insanely overpriced.

We shall be back for meals and hopefully meet up with some of the team that looked after us on our special day .

We had 4 servers at one meal which screwed up the dinner bills for our two seperate rooms/traveling companions.

Meals taken were lovely, well presented and hot.

I was recently guiding a group of 20 and had pre-booked a 2 course lunch.

The we decided to get a high tea service, which was delivered and tasty,

We especially enjoyed Eric, the restaurant manager, who clearly enjoyed welcoming guests to Inverness.

Ours beds were very comfortable. I was celebrating my birthday and they even brought a special birthday dessert (gluten free!)

The 3year old with allergies was catered for off menu and ww had a wonderful time.

The food for the afternoon tea was lovely.

When booking for leisure I always book the Kingsmill as it is by far the best option, always the best night sleep I get when working away from home and the dinner is superb.

The restaurant was in the conservatory nice and light.

Otherwise, the room was fairly clean and the staff helpful.

We also got a room on right above the lobby on Floor 1.

The rooms are large, really well equipped and comfortable.

Beautiful well managed hotel - the rooms are gorgeous - staff is polite and professional.

Craig was able to find us a more suitable room with bath/shower.

I was on a Backroads small group tour, and we were booked into demi suites  in the spa wing, which had gorgeous modern rooms, and were spotlessly clean.

The hotel also offers swimming pool with steam room and jacuzzi which were also clean and well maintained.

Our rooms were adjoining and were exceptionally clean and well stocked.

My Mom insisted that I write a review on The Kingsmills Hotel & Spa, Inverness.

Lovely 3 night stay in The Kingsclub and Spa.

There is a reasonably priced spa at the hotel, offering massage and other treatments all at a very reasonable price.

That said, it is an excellent hotel and venue and has excellent spa facilities.

We were in the main hotel and then in the spa centre hotel.Both were well appointed 
rooms.

We had Spa treatments on the Sunday and they were both amazing.

Warm welcome on arrival, had the 3 course lunch menu which was wonderful, lovely spa facilities, and nice relaxation in the lounge with a cocktail in the evening.

The hotel has a spa and a good pool area.

Kings Spa room very good and receptionist Pam very professional and helpful.

We also had a spa package which was brilliant, massage was lovely and staff accommodating.

Every single member of staff we interacted with was lovely, the food and drinks were fantastic and the spa was amazing.

From the initial planning to the day itself, the staff were just incredible.

First of all I found the staff very helpful and nor clueless as suggested.

Warm welcome at Reception, and very helpful throughout my brief stay.

My phone and google were more helpful than the supposed concierge.

We will definitely be treating ourselves to this again soon.

Beyond perfect , from day 1 when we approached the Kingsmills hotel to host our wedding they could not be more helpful or professional covering every detail .

but was so taken with Inverness and the lovely staff in your hotel.

First of all the lady on reception was lovely, a trainee.

The staff in the 'lounge' was respectful and professional

Nothing was too much trouble for the staff who were wonderfully attentive and so kind.

The peaceful setting, decor and, most of all, the warm and helpful staff who made us feel very welcomed!

Desk staff was surly, which was very surprising in Inverness.

but the heat in the room was stifling, had to have window open all night therefore very noisy as it was the weekend, certainly not worth the money we paid for it.

Just stayed two nights and the lack of AC is almost unbearable.

No air conditioning and the window will not open more than 6 inches. Beware!

It was a bit warm in our room so we had to open the windows (no A/C).

We also had to turn the radiator off in the room as it was stifling.

And the weights machine is bordering on dangerous - rusty, squeaky and bare metal handles for doing pull-ups???

Complained and got changed rooms as the room they had given us looked out over the kitchen fat extractor and smelt of chip pan fat.

However Room was too hot and could not easily be cooled down (room 35) - a fan had to be used all the time and it was 13C outside.

The radiator is right next to the toilet my husband burnt his leg touching it.

There is a radiator next to the toilet and one could burn your legs if close to it while sitting on the toilet!

although I am not a fan of the little plastic pots of fruit as I think it tastes a bit funny (I am aware that’s the times we’re living in though).

Again we had a problem with the heating in the bedroom.

I do not have enough electricity in the room to run a fan at a normal speed to cool down.

breakfast was average, on the first morning that we ordered breakfast my partners meal didn’t arrive to the room and we had to chase this up and wait a further 10 minutes for his meal to arrive - my meal was freezing by the time his arrived.

but comfy enough- radiator didn't work in my room but luckily the heat from the towel rail spread through.

Television wasn't working properly and the fan in the toilet didn't work.

but our radiator had a knocking sound spoke to housekeeping who said  just turn the thermostat which we did  it's stopped  it rattled a couple of times over our stay we just turned the thermostat and it stopped  did not spoil our  stay  we will be coming back to this hotel

however in this hotel even with the radiator off all night I was roasting- it was like a balm night  in the Bahamas.

but the heating went off around 6pm and didn't come back on.

The meals were of excellent quality and the drinks menu and pricing were extremely reasonable.

Food and drinks were dearer than other places near by.

I ate there once and had a drink once, both times with great service.

We travelled as part of a coach party, and so has included meals and drinks.

This hotel has a restaurant and bar on sight and the food and drinks are good.

but food and drinks were great and we were very ably looked after by Logan, Catherine & Ana throughout our stay with Taurus, hope to be able to return under our own steam for our wedding anniversary next May,  we were displaced from our usual dinner/ breakfasts on the last night and following morning so it was manic but Logan and Ana battled through and looked after us, thank you everyone it was great, I do hope that the young staff are invested in and brought through to keep the charm that this hotel has!

The bar had a good selection of food and drinks and the servers in the bar area were attentive.

Great place and would recommend to anyone to go there for relaxing, happy and tasty drinks.

we spent boxing night here and joined my in laws for dinner and drinks .

The rooms were nice enough with comfortable bed and I can't fault the food and drink either.
