Great room, executive lounge was closed 2nd night due to local government restrictions on Covid

Room superb other than a problem with air conditioning which was fixed immediately.Staff from front desk, workout facilities, spa and executive lounge were all exceptional.

The executive lounge was the best I’ve seen in a Marriott hotel.

The place I spend more times was Executive Lounge nice,  great view and plenty of variety of delicious food and drinks.

The Executive Lounge: Offering an amazing ambience with one of the friendliest management staff (Ms. Pam Jiang) who makes it happen for you.

Especially Selena in the Executive Lounge had a great service attitude and was able to make a decent enough White Russian even tho she never did before :-).

As a manager of JW executive lounge, she encouraged customer and lifted their signatured service to a new stage.

The food and services at the executive lounge was also very decent either.

Breakfast is great, so is executive lounge.

I went to the executive lounge to check in around 9 pm, Chole has arranged the room for me, and Fanny has also prepared cocktail called Sangria for us.

The room is super clean roomie and services from executive lounge are very impressive and thoughtful, especially thanks to Selina and Fanny there.

I stayed on the Executive Floor, and frequented the Executive Lounge, which is the best I have ever been to in China, in terms of its facility, service offerings, and mostly of all the warmth of its staff.

For starters, everything about the hotel is perfect, great iconic building, nice decor, good service and clean rooms.

Beautiful property, from the very classy reception to large and well-appointed rooms.

The room is clean and modern, specially the bed is quiet comfy.

The check-in process was efficient and handy, and also the room was neat and comfortable.

Best  service I have ever seen is here - JW Marriott Zhengzhou, from Selina and Ruby in lounge.

And another thing - I wanted a place to smoke my cigar and when I asked the Concierge or front desk, they informed me that there is no smoking lounge or place to have a smoke in the whole hotel except outside where the hotel drop off point is.

Let me talk about the environment, I love the fragrance when I step into the hotel, I guess they are using something like white tea, or green tea, how refreshing it is and make me really comfy.

The smoking people were gone when I returned.

I had hard overnight sushi, tea eggs seasoned with an ocean of salt, tough unpeeled asparagus, rancid walnuts, hard sausages..the list goes on.

Quite filthy looking thru the window and just shows poor maintenance of the building.

Was my second visit in this hotel and was still terrible , the room are still not clean and still terrible smell inside , you have coffee express machine

Selection of foods and drinks is very good with plenty of helpful staff.

I know your answer already, hiding behind Covid-19 regulations from the local Government.

I chose this hotel because of its artistic touch, a Le Meridien brand feature, to add to the romance of the proposal.

But the quality is as same as this brand.

However, I'll still come back because LM Zhengzhou is really one of the few LMs out there that encapsulates the LM brand from top to bottom.

Stayed here not long after opening, so everything brand new.

This new hotel is brand new and is extremely pretty.

The rooms all are brand new and very comfortable.

Breakfast is also on 1st floor plenty of choices and good service.

The lounge was also excellent- breakfast was outstanding the staff always remembered how we liked our omelette and they  made them for us every day.

First time in Zhengzhou also first time at le meridian , wonderful experience the most I like about the hotel everything is big , Big Room , big washroom , very clean and beautiful interior and fully equipped and not so expensive.

Our suite was spotlessly clean with interesting design and layout.

There is nothing not to like about this new hotel, from décor, planning, rooms and service its all simply magnificent.

Would definitely recommend, very similar vibe to many W hotels I've stayed in.

While not a replacement for dinner, it was a comfortable environment to relax after a busy day and well appreciated.

I was surprised to see worn out napkins on the table in such a nice hotel.

First, I loved the modern deco of Le Meriden Zhengzhou, especially the modern art pieces all over in different areas of the hotel.

It’s a nice design hotel at the edge of the city.

I was surprised when I found the room was nicely decorated.

Hotel modern decor, avant-garde art pieces, and the soundtrack playing throughout, are all in accord, if not to say harmony.

The only downside was the small window overlooking a nearby high-rise, providing little natural light.

The only complaint I had was the lighting control panel by the bedside which was on throughout the night.

There was no good light outside the hotel which made walking into the hotel somewhat scary.

but apparently the lights are not and there was no phone in the room to call the front desk.

Rooms are very clean ,and people very kindly.This hotel placed in the center and shopping malls are very close !

The room was spotlessly clean and reasonably sized, bed was comfortable.

Do be sure to double-check your room type as I didn't realize until checking out that I had been placed on a smoking floor.

but I have seen hotel guests smoking in the  lobby, in the lifts and other public areas.

Most of us had headaches or felt sick from the smell.

The rooms are smaller in size particlularly the bathrooms.

Bathrooms were quite dirty with plastic wrapped around the pipe under sink to stop a leak.

But you could tell it's getting older with cracks in tiles (in the shower) and really "yellow" toilet seat.

The small room and small bathroom area are okay if you just need a bed for the night.

Bus fares in Zhengzhou were only RMB1.00, and very efficient (they have dedicated bus lanes).

Gotta ask for bus number and 
direction from hotel.

The hotel is right next to a wonderful park and there is a bus stop close by.

The hotel is located in the city center,on the famous jinshui road,and it's just about 500 m away form the xijingshan metro station which makes travelling very easy.a lot of restaurants can be found around the hotel,the staff is very polite and helpful,top value for money..
Note.Muslim restaurants can be found in walking distance

It is easy to get to a bus or to find a taxi.

The complex is also only a block from the airport bus stop at the Aviation Hotel.

The hotel was actually located right between the Zhengzhou train station and Zhengzhou East train station.

Location is convenient if you want to stay near to airport or nearby companies.

The staff was genuinely helpful, location is pretty decent, and breakfast was adequate.

The hotel is conveniently located in the city center.

The hotel is located quite centrally and has a grand look from its exterior and interior.

My only complaint is that they do not enforce the no smoking policy, typical in China.

but there was a strong cigarette smell and I ended up with a headache.

Taking a bus to the Zhengzhou East station and the Zhengzhou Museum was a breeze.

The location of the hotel, being in the center of the city, makes it close enough for some shopping outings,

Breakfast is served at Crown Plaza hotel which is good though.

although I arrived they ghe Crown Plaza lobby.

You can also relax in the crown plaza lobby which is much better than the holiday inn one.

But all of the staff in the Crowne Plaza were friendly, and I enjoyed my two-day stay.

The hotel is modern, and breakfast is taken at the neighboring Crowne Plaza for some reason.

What they are doing to Crowne Plaza maybe felt necessary

The holiday inn express is right next to holiay inn and crowne plaza.

Breakfast was in the ajoining Crowne Plaza hotel and was a western buffet with really good coffee.

Visit this hotel regularly - it is linked with Crowne Plaza whose facilities are open to Holiday Inn residents.

It is in a compound with a Holiday Inn Express and the Crowne Plaza.

We had breakfast inclluded, and breakfast was in crowne plaza, next door, it was great, lots of choices.

Same property has Holiday Inn East & West, Holiday Inn Express and Crowne Plaza.

but they call on Marcy from Crowne Plaza with any problems and she is a lovely person, nothing too much trouble.

but not the software (staff not well trained), C. Plaza 's service is the best I've ever experienced in China

everything from the concierge & team (Barry & team) that handled the logistics of sightseeing to just the guys working in the lobby, they really bend over backwards to help, i.e.

Furthermore, I was offered to take very pricey hotel van about ten time when I asked the hotel to call for taxi to any places!

When we asked reception why we were sent there we were told we had booked a 'special' rate and that meant this hotel (wing) and not the main hotel.

In addition, I was dismayed that the price changed shortly after I booked my room.

We had one paid night and one night using PointBreaks (only 5000 points/night this quarter).

Our stay was a little more pricey than it was probably worth

The mama mia Italian restaurant is top class and has a good discount lunch, whereas the Palm Court is now becoming very expensive (over 300 RMB) for the buffer and has less choices now than a few years ago when the prices were very competitive to other popular famous eating houses in Zhengzhou.

Only negativity was that the Btreakfast was really over priced !

but I wouldn't rate the hotel down for that.

If you booked this hotel, you have to check in at Crown Plaza hotel (I didnt know this before I check in though).

I did not book into the Express and my reservation booking certainly did not indicate this,

but warned it might be difficult to refund it because I was using a Chinese card (ummm excuse me? This is China - be very careful!)

Seriously, don't you think about the risk of fire when you put 5 books of matches in every room!?

We were also lucky that both me and my colleague got bumped up to the 1-Bedroom Superior Suite, we had been booked each into a regular room.

We tried to check in at one and they sent a bellboy to escort us over to the one where our booking was.

Good location, quiet as it's located a bit back from the main road.

(3) Great Location
The Holiday Inn Zhengzhou is located along Jinshui Road, which is a main thoroughfare in Zhengzhou.

Best to check which way you are heading because U-turns aren't so easy on that road.

Stayed 1 night here as an upgrade from the Holiday Inn Express down the road.

The room was clean and comfortable, and despite some reviews personally this place wasn't that hard to find.

I was 5 nights in the hotel and why not to buy a portable air conditioner?

This was my 5th stay at Sofitel Zhengzhou, check in was slow, breakfast was very poor quality, room temp was so hot, they even told me the Air Con was switched off and I can open my window!

This is my second time in the hotel, the rooms are clean and very comfortable.

The hotel has a thoughtful staff, a wonderful kitchen with a splendid breakfast buffet of both Chinese and European food, well-appointed rooms and a gym and pool.

but bed was comfortable and room was clean.
