This is a cosy & compact hotel right on the main street in the centre if this beautiful town.

2, AquaFun Park, Pieniny National Park, Pieniny National Park - Information Center, Hurricane Factory, Tatry Shopping Center, Dom PhMr.

Sabala Hotel is located in the heart of the centre.

The hotel is ideally situated in the centre of town right next to the shops, restaurants and just a short walk to the bus stops and train station.

Stayed for four nights and enjoyed everything about the place it’s in a great location in the centre of town if you want to go out plus a terrific bar and restaurant if you want to stay in.

Excellent hotel, exactly in the center of Zakapone, close to everything.

There is a swimming pool, solarium , sauna & wellness centre on the 2nd floor, which is so relaxing.

The wellness centre is pleasant and recommend a treatment at the start of the break .

This must rate as one on the most pleasant hotels I have stayed in The location was in centre of town The staff were all extremely pleasant and helpful and the food in the restaurant was first class with great service and pleasant  surroundings and entertainment

Hotel Sabala is in a great location right in the center and a short walk to great pubs and restaurants. The Hotel bar/restaurant looks great inside and the food was fine (we had the lamb in a pan which was very tasty,

although located in the center of things, is far enough off the main street that it is quiet.

The situation of the hotel is wonderful, being right in the centre of the town.

The location is brilliant, right in the centre of town and the restaurant below the second part of the hotel is very cheap and the food is good.

Sabala was in the center of all the tourist action and very handy for the mountains and all the attractions.

My advice is to email the local tourist info centre and get a list of pensions in the area.

The Sabala is a very comfortable, mountain hotel in this resort, a centre for skiing and mountain walking.

Let me start by saying there is no elevator.

However, this means its interior is rambling and, without a lift, an upper floor room is a long way away.

There is no elevator so be prepared to walk up the stairs,

Only one draw back is there is no lifts and quiet a lot of stairs so would be no good to wheel chair users.

Access to the local attractions and mountain lifts couldn't be easier.

The room we were allocated was on the top floor and there is no lift!

The only downside is no elevators, in case someone need them.

On positive side reception staff was extremely helpful and friendly from moment we made reservation to last second at check out.

The ladies on reception were very friendly and helpful.

but our fellow travellers were disturbed by late night revellers.

although the walls were a bit thin (we had noisy neighbours).

even though the room at the rear was quieter the windows needed to be open for air which was noisy early next morning due to barrels being rolled into their beer cellar and the car noise of staff arriving.

We were a bit bothered by roadworks noise

Also, having a room directly above the restaurant meant you could hear the traditional polish band they had (but again, no major issue as we were only there for 3 nights).

- WIFI signal in the room was not at 100% on my tablet and phone 
- Some noise from the street below during late evening/night hours.

It can also be a bit noisy in the rooms until late as most rooms (front and back) overlook the bustling town.

The problem with this room is that is right above the restaurant kitchen, so there was constant noise of furniture being moved around, plates and glasses clinking and all the usual kitchen noises, which can be a nuisance, especially as the noise went until late.

Those at the front of the hotel complained of noise up to midnight.

The view from our room was over the main Street and wasn't too noisy at night it was a wonderful view from the roof

The room we were given was on a busy tourist road with constant noise.

Zakopane is a "resort town", and even in the off season, it can be noisy.

but nevertheless you cant hear the noise in the rooms above.

The sound transference from one side to the other is very high.

The only issue I had was that you could hear some noise from the halls which could be an issue for very light sleepers.

Consequently, there is quite a lot of noise right through the night and our room, which was quite small

The only negative part was some of the noise that we could hear from the market in the evening (one specific annoying man selling toys).

Our last night there was my birthday (62) the staff knew this and then at 8.00pm they stopped serving us and by 9..00 shut everything down.

although there is one in reception I believe.

The reception staff were very good and the rooms lovely, clean and cosy.

Breakfast was plentiful and included option for fresh eggs to be made

Staff raced down to give me my watch that I had left in the room! Honest staff is really great :)

The hotel was very nice with good service and enough staff who spoke English.

Great location, in the middle of Zakopane, right at the main pedestrian street.

The hotel is ideally situated on the main pedestrian street, there is an attached restaurant.

Sabala has a long deck that overlooks the main pedestrian/shopping street which is perfect for meals and drinks and people watching..  We enjoyed the deck for drinks late at night which was cool

At the end of the pedestrian street, the trams were available for the trip up the mountain.

Hotel Sabala is in a fabulous location, on the main high street in Zakopane.

A beautiful wooden style hotel situated on Krupowki Street.

It is right in the downtown at the middle of the main street.

The hotel is conveniently located right on the pedestrian main street.

but I did not hear any noise from the street.

Lots of foot traffic on the pedestrianized street, which is loaded with tourist schlock.

Set on the very busy pedestrianised main street, it's in is an ideal location.

Zakopane is located in the south of Poland near the foothills of the Tatras Mountains.

Very good bathroom all mod cons and room temp was spot on and the balcony was just needed for a smoke and me tea lovely the views Arby’s to impressive as we were in the back

Excellent location with some rooms overlooking the main street.

Typical Zakopane style hotel with beautiful wooden features and excellent views of the Ratra Mountains.

As far I know we had one of the nieces rooms in the hotel and I would request this one again if I ever stay again.Room number 206 amazing views loved it.

but form the back one, the view was great  to the mountains.

Within walking distance of lots of fabulous restaurants, shops and the mountain train.

Sabala is located right in the heart of Zakopane, overlooking the pedestrian Krupowki - ideal for people-watching.

The swimming pool was a welcome release after a long day in the mountains.

The room was spacious and clean with a view of the main street, and with temperatures of minus 6 outside, the room was very warm and cosy.

Restaurant with terace wiyh good food, service and nice views.

Good breakfasts, nice staff, interesting music evenings, beautiful views, plenty of good restaurants, shops nearby - ORSAY next door :) walking distance  to get transport to Gubalowka with lovely market and breathtaking views.

The pool and sauna are often deserted and there is a lounging deck with a clear view to Giewont mountain (so is a great place to watch lightning storms from).

Adding to the mountain atmosphere, Hotel Sabala is made entirely of wood, including carved tables, chairs, and bar stools.

Having come from a very modern hotel in Krakow to this quaint chalet hotel in the mountains I was'nt sure what to expect

Bad bits- no air con so our room got very hot as it faced full sun in the morning, superior room well laid out

There is no individual air conditioner in the rooms and they are quite small.

Staff provided  a fan as there is no air- con in any room.

The only issue was the lack of air con in our room.

but no AC which was not terrible as it was cold outside.

Worst part is when the fan went off there was no circulation of the air and it became extremely stuffy

but house keeping and the restaurant don't.There is no air conditioning which was a problem since it was August.And the hotel was doing maintenance and stuff, so we couldn't stay outside during breakfast + it was very hard to reach the outside swimming pool.. we had to walk very long distance in the street and go from the other side.If you wanna go to Zakopane I suggest going when it's cooler.

Very clean rooms, great breakfast and dinner buffet with variety of different dishes everyday.

Breakfast space very massive with super selection of food buffet from fresh cut ham to fresh bakery and cheese, just perfect.

Zakopane area is just amazing and the Mercure Kasprowy is like stay in heaven- beautiful interior, super nice wellness, tasty breakfast and spacious rooms.

We really enjoyed breakfast as well as dinner.

Food is delicious (big choice for breakfast and dinner,but you can find another delicious food in menu card ).

The only misleading from the hotel is, that breakfast and dinner are not in the beautiful restaurant which was in the pictures :) This restaurant is a la cart in the reception hall.

The breakfast was outstanding with just about every breakfast food you could imagine.

The spa was amazing, the food was delicious, (we have tried both restaurants).

Stayed at this hotel for 5 nights.Hotel advertised that it had a swimming pool both indoors and outside.On arrival there was no indoor swimming facilities due to refurbishment/ a building site as a view from our room.Outside pool advertised isn’t even part of the hotel so you have to pay to get in.In the hotel pics it looks like it part of the hotel!!!!

I had to go to the chiropractor, the massage therapist, and physical therapist when I got home due to their beds.

Due to illness, we tried to get room service for something to eat, when reception finally answered, after numerous attempts, we were told they were busy and that we would be better to go and get something  to eat ourselves!.

I found the staff very friendly and helpful.

Whole hotel was beautifully decorated, great food and very friendly staff members.

The stay was made all the better by the wonderfully attentive, friendly and professional manager, Wojciech (W).

The hotel has a very nice interior in local style and the personal is very friendly.

A tiny space carved out from a corridor leading to conference rooms, shielded from the corridor by a thin glass wall and a sliding glass door that offers no noise protection whatsoever. During the two calls I had to make, I had to listen to noise from the kitchen (just next door), hotel staff pushing furniture to and from the conference rooms and talking loudly and some random people (delivery men?)

It is huge, characterless, noisy with kids running around,crying etc.

The room was not what we agreed, the dinner was not what we agreed, the sheets had stains and in the evening there was no housekeeping available, noise in the room.

The hotel seems to be a conference hotel, so was very noisy for the 2 out of the 3 nights we were there.

but was noisy and more suited to children activities than proper swimming.

Noise went on until 8:30pm and started again at 5:30am.

but we did not use it as it was noisy with children.

but I could hear it and my alarm clock has a thermometer and I could just watch the temperature go up.

Overall the whole area started o be quite hot and noisy – better suits families ith young kids than those seeking for chill out or calories burning.

The only small minus was the insulation of the windows,there are just double glazed and we feel a little cold breeze and noise from outside,We come definitely back next winter 🙂

There is no privacy while you are on the room balcony as all the people can see you and hear you from neighbor rooms.

Just be warned that they are doing a major renovation so there is a lot of construction noise.

We were not informed that the hotel recreational facilities were being refurbished with no use of swimming pool and subsequent noise from 7 am!.

Always a lovely stay while skiing, we come twice a year one with all our children and we always have a great time , lovely clean rooms and staff are lovely.

I recommend this site for family relaxation, skiing, walking .

Good food, nice skiing and very nice hotel.

Excellent location for skiing as the ski lift is next to the Hotel and the Hotel is also very close to Gubalowka and the main promenade Krupowki.

but I could imagine it would be an excellent place to stay in Winter as it was right next to a chair lift for skiing.

Overall, this hotel can be good choice if wellness and pool are open and there is lots of snow, since skiing is right next to the hotel, which is great.

The location superb for skiing all day and visiting the lovely mountain top restaurants.

Hotel is lovely right on the slopes so easy access to the skiing.

For simple skiing its got it all at an excellent price.

Very good hotel, comfortable, ideal location for family and people to experience skiing.

Ozcypek cheese was burned, the jam used was overly sweet and felt like defrosted and their ”tuna” steak was either not tuna or then it was so overly cooked that one couldnt even recognize it was tuna.

Outdated room, smelling of stale smoke and fitted out with damaged furniture and furnishings.

Buffet for morning was disgusting and 20 euro a head .

3rd and last day was a Saturday and during the afternoon several all male parties arrived and began hammering out loud music, shouting and smoking.

we found some dead insect in the bathroom and a lot of bird poop on the balcony.

The carpet had seen better days, with a nasty looking stain in the middle of the room.

The breakfast was delicious with numerous dishes to choose.One little minus was, that we received smelly towels (seemed they where not washed after the last visitors).

You can feel the smell of cigarettes or loud music from the balconies next to you.

And during the first day of my stay there was a strong smell of urine in the bathroom.

Spa was also nice and kids club with babysitters who took well care of our 4 year.

We particularly enjoyed the spa facilities! !

Spa was nice and clean with new equipment.

We were absolutely satisfied with our apartment, the food in the restaurant and the Spa.

Spa has age limit 18 to relax area which was nice.

The spa is beautiful and the deep tissue massage totally hit the spot.

The hotel offers very impressive spa zone.

The SPA is beautiful and I would say the best of all of the hotels in Zakopane I sayed in so far.

The SPA inside the hotel was outstanding and I can frankly say that it was one of the best SPA I have ever been to. '

The spa and wellness area is a must to be visited.

The spa and pool best with the most beautiful view!

You can also treat yourself in the spa downstairs.

The spa area was great with glass walls to the mountains.

The staff is amazing and very thoughtful.

The reception desk has one corkscrew all over the hotel and you have to get the receptionist open :) restaurant and bra open until 10 PM, in the tourist town a little short.

There is only space for two people in the “business corner” and the desks and chairs are well past their prime.

1 person was accused of breaking a sofa in the reception and we were threatened to pay 3000eur for the damage.

Fast checkin and strategically located beside ski resorts and professional services given by the staff and I recommend this resort with new and beautiful rooms facing tatras  with baby cot, nice grill restaurant and good breakfast the best part is also having water slide at the swimming pool, scheduled shuttle bus to town and with heater in the room
