Breakfast was lovely with sausages, eggs cooked to order, and a selection of breads, cheeses, meats, salads, cereals etc.

Food is good and breakfast buffet plentiful covering all dietary needs.

Sabala Hotel is located in the heart of the centre.

The hotel is ideally situated in the centre of town right next to the shops, restaurants and just a short walk to the bus stops and train station.

Stayed for four nights and enjoyed everything about the place it’s in a great location in the centre of town if you want to go out plus a terrific bar and restaurant if you want to stay in.

Excellent hotel, exactly in the center of Zakapone, close to everything.

There is a swimming pool, solarium , sauna & wellness centre on the 2nd floor, which is so relaxing.

The wellness centre is pleasant and recommend a treatment at the start of the break .

This must rate as one on the most pleasant hotels I have stayed in The location was in centre of town The staff were all extremely pleasant and helpful and the food in the restaurant was first class with great service and pleasant  surroundings and entertainment

Hotel Sabala is in a great location right in the center and a short walk to great pubs and restaurants. The Hotel bar/restaurant looks great inside and the food was fine (we had the lamb in a pan which was very tasty,

although located in the center of things, is far enough off the main street that it is quiet.

The situation of the hotel is wonderful, being right in the centre of the town.

The location is brilliant, right in the centre of town and the restaurant below the second part of the hotel is very cheap and the food is good.

Sabala was in the center of all the tourist action and very handy for the mountains and all the attractions.

My advice is to email the local tourist info centre and get a list of pensions in the area.

The Sabala is a very comfortable, mountain hotel in this resort, a centre for skiing and mountain walking.

It got very warm so we had to wedge the door open with a room chair to get any air flow and this let in a lot of the noise overnight so if you need peace and quiet to sleep, make sure you don't get room 414!

though my sleep was disturbed by very late night revellers on my first night.

but I can't get to sleep when bad covers and euro pop is being sung very loud.

The rooms are quite small, have good heating system to provide comfort during nights, since Zakopane is actually Poland’s popular hill-station & gets very cold.

There is no elevator so be prepared to walk up the stairs,

Only one draw back is there is no lifts and quiet a lot of stairs so would be no good to wheel chair users.

Negatives: tiled corridors and stairs, which as you can imagine causes quite a lot of noise.

However we had to walk to one end of the hotel - down some stairs, back to the other end of the hotel and up some more stairs to get to the pool.

Sabala has a long deck that overlooks the main pedestrian/shopping street which is perfect for meals and drinks and people watching..  We enjoyed the deck for drinks late at night which was cool

At the end of the pedestrian street, the trams were available for the trip up the mountain.

Hotel Sabala is in a fabulous location, on the main high street in Zakopane.

We stayed here for our 50th wedding anniversary and had the most amazing room with a balcony that looked up the street and at the mountains..It was fantastic..Very friendly helpful staff at the desk.

Typical Zakopane style hotel with beautiful wooden features and excellent views of the Ratra Mountains.

As far I know we had one of the nieces rooms in the hotel and I would request this one again if I ever stay again.Room number 206 amazing views loved it.

Sabala is located right in the heart of Zakopane, overlooking the pedestrian Krupowki - ideal for people-watching.

The swimming pool was a welcome release after a long day in the mountains.

The room was spacious and clean with a view of the main street, and with temperatures of minus 6 outside, the room was very warm and cosy.

Restaurant with terace wiyh good food, service and nice views.

The pool and sauna are often deserted and there is a lounging deck with a clear view to Giewont mountain (so is a great place to watch lightning storms from).

Adding to the mountain atmosphere, Hotel Sabala is made entirely of wood, including carved tables, chairs, and bar stools.

Having come from a very modern hotel in Krakow to this quaint chalet hotel in the mountains I was'nt sure what to expect

Rooms were either boiling hot or freezing cold.

A couple of minor negatives: no elevator; no AC (we were there in the winter and I think our room was right above the fire pit from the restaurant below.

Negative aspects:
Rooms are not prepared for summer temperatures, there is no air conditioner.

The shower ran a little unpredictably (my partner got a short sharp burn and I had a blast of freezing)

but not enough that it caused a problem (the staff did come and inspect the shower leak one night as the people staying on the floor below had to deal with a more significant shower leak).

but lack of shelves or some sort of unit where you could leave your cosmetics.

but if it was hot and with no A/C the open window would have meant the need for earplugs to shut out the bell.

Hostess was very helpful and breakfast was served in the dining room 7-10am.

Rooms are comfortable, breakfast is good and staff is helpful.

A very good buffet breakfast is offered and the Villa Is extremely well positioned to access most of the local points of interest.

Rooms were amazing and the breakfasts were excellent.

The breakfast was tasty and they are making the warm breakfast a’la carts.

Stayed at the Villa Vita hotel for one night, great location on the main Street of Zakapone, really nice hotel clean and comfortable with a great breakfast.

The card has since been replaced in case the number was taken, and it wasn't a lot of cash,

My only complaint was that the free toiletries were not replenished daily, so i would get my own just in case.

but none that were enough to make us reconsider our booking - the lack of a lift when you are travelling internationally and have to lug a big, heavy suitcase up several flights of stairs was annoying.

However the hotel does not have a lift and we had to carry a big and heavy suitcase up to the second floor!

Villa Vita is located in the centre so everything is close by, like bus stops to get to mountains, all the restaurants and shops.

We stayed a couple of nights at Villa Vita and it definitely met our needs.

- we had a room on the 3rd floor without lift

Villa Vita is located on krupòwki street which is the centre of Zakopane.

Me and my wife get there and we enyojed everything  because of the good service, location and the best was the place it was easy to find and really good place in the city center.

Villa Vita is a great location in the center of all services and happening.

Good location in the city centre, close to shops, restaurants, bus stop.

For the convenience of active and sporting guests there is a heated equipment room for the overnight storage of skis, snowboards and other similar items; the room features a warm air ski-boot drying rack.

If I were to make a suggestion to improve the experience for us within the Villa it would have been lovely to have had a common area with easy chairs and perhaps a fire for hotel guests to sit around.

Staff did not bother to help senior guest carry heavy baggage up or down.

but they seriously need to get a few more hairdryers for their guests!

but this is not to be expected in a hotel of this type - nor are there tea/coffee making facilities in rooms; for those wishing to ski do not expect Alpine type ski-ing (although Kasprowy in Zakopane and Tatrzańska Łomnica in Slovakia) come close.

Only thing I could fault this hotel is tea/coffee facilities in your room and maybe a little bar only for residents. .

This is a gem of a hotel at the base of the Main Street and 2 minutes walk from the venicular railway.

It's at the quieter end of the main pedestrian street, other than the church across the street, which is quiet at night and easily blocked with earplugs in the morning.

Zacopane is a beautiful place to visit with a variety of restaurants and lovely little market stalls lining the Main Street.

The place is at the beginning of the Krupówki street.

Its location in a  Zakopane is  close to ideal: it is in Krupówki (the main pedestrianized shopping and restaurant street) close to the junction with Kościelska Road (a part of 'old' Zakopane), it has a private car park for guests and is both of a high standard with prices to make you smile.

Lovely hotel conveniently located at bottom of Krupwki Street close to market, funicular, bars and restaurants.

When searching for it, it is right at the end of Krupowki street on the right so look out for it since it can easily be missed.

At the end of Krupówki street, it is very close to some of the main attractions in Zakopane.

Zakopane is a beautiful place, mountain views are amazing, cable car takes you up the mountain where there is beautiful cafes and photo points
Prices in Zakopane are reasonable for food and drink.

Room had beautiful view of the mountains, and we didn’t hear any noise from any room.

Within a just few minutes walk there is a market, a funicular station to a hilltop with superb views of the Tatras and various exhibitions of old Zakopane culture and folklore.

Other Positives:  room was spacious and well equipped; we had an excellent view of the lovely church across the street.

But the view on my window during the morning was simply amazing.

but we were rewarded with good views and no noise from anyone above us.

but we had a million dollar view of the mountains, a generous and elegant breakfast with fresh omlett every morning, a very helpful staff and we were in the middle of everything. .

We had a 3rd floor room accessible via stairs with a view of mountains and part of the town.

It has only 36 rooms, is typically Polish, yet has a really Swiss  feel about it, given it is in the mountain area of the country.

I can see why the hotel has won awards after seeing it for myself.

The reason the hotel is so cheap in price is because the suits are terrible in design

If you have stayed in a real 5 star hotel you will be absolutely shocked by the poor state of this place

The only reason I have given this 4 instead of 5 stars is on return to the hotel one evening we were refused entry in to the nightclub downstairs due to a private function which we had not been informed of.

We wanted milk in our room and I went down to reception to ask for it and was told to go back to the room and phone the restaurant for the milk.

They brought us up coffee/tea when we got to the room (asked my husband if he ordered- no).

When I asked the front desk about it, the answer was that they had the whole AC shut down because it wasn't warm enough in September.

The location was ideal for shopping right by the Main Street.
