Met my family here over Labor Day break.It is an unexpectedly nice hotel,comparable looks&comfort-wise to places I have stayed in Xuzhou.beautiful lobbywell-apointed rooms,great breakfast options in the morning.the hotel's location is only few steps to the lake.walking distance to the town hall&great stadium.

Nice and clean rooms, good breakfast buffet.

The room is very clean, spacious and comfortable - with all the amenities you can expect from  the Crown Plaza and IHG brand.

Room was clean and had nice amenities, a refrig and hot water pot to make coffee or tea.

fair sized and very clean rooms, comfortable beds and pillows, good restaurants with plenty of choice.

The hotel is a little isolated as to shops and restaurants in walking distance.

As this hotel is far from the city, we arrived back from work at around 7pm and decided to eat in the coffee shop.

While there are no shops or other amenities within walking distance, there are walking trails around the lake.

but did raise the only negative, which was that there was no other restaurants or shops nearby, so you need to either eat at the hotel, or get a taxi.

The servant Cuiwen Wang (王翠文) came into my room and helped me to close and lock the door in balcony.. she is super nice person, kindly directed me how to write the review.. thank her very much.

The staff was super friendly and had smiles on their faces always.

Staff are helpful, respectfull and attentive.

The staff, including those at the breakfast buffet, is very attentive of your preferences and need.

Staff at lobby are professional and friendly, as also the GM of the hotel.

The room is very nice and comfortable, amenities are good, breakfast is great and the staff is very kind and polite.

The staff are very helpful and there is a wonderful garden that takes you to the Dalong Lake.

Service is excellent and staff is very friendly.

Quite a few staff members speak English, and everyone was very attentive during check-in and check-out, as well as in the restaurant.

Yet staff is adequately proficient in English.

A special thank you goes to Jean in the Bellevue restaurant who really went out of her way to make our stay extra special and to Amanda at the front desk who gave us some great suggestions on what to do and see in the city.

Nice staff good location, the buffet breakfast was really good and in a nice settings.

All request (non down bedding & adjoining rooms)were met with ease and pleasant courtesy by your staff.

A big thanks to the folks at Crowne Plaza Xuzhou.

Light system is also confusing to control.

So we requested them to turn on the air conditioning system.

They need a major overhaul/upgrade of their air conditioning system in my opinion.

Hot water was plentiful when you take a shower.

Shower was excellent with very good water pressure and controllable temperature.

Many other China brand hotels follow the same policy to not turn on A.C. in shoukd months of summer and winter.

The hotel had the same feel to it as the Double Tree Hilton brand

At that point i had already spent 20 minutes in the check out line and had to rush to my train, so didn’t get that fixed.

The AC in the room was worthless it was at 29 degrees all night the bed was hard and the shower had little pressure.

however, smoke entered my room through the air conditioning ducts and i suspect the gaps in the door.

Lovely staff, clean rooms, good location, you could call this place a home when you are thousand miles away from your own home.

I went out into the corridor to find people smoking in their rooms.

The staff at the front desk not that welcoming and the room was not that clean especially in the shower room.

Friendly english speaking reception staff, big and comfy room with an ac working and even a window that could be opened.

Check in was smooth and the lady in the reception was very friendly and professional.

No concierge to help you with your luggage.

although they didnt speak much English made an effort to communicate and were very helpful.

Staff is so cheerful and helpful at all times.

Ms Anna at reception was so helpful,explained everything clearly and the straight forward.

but staff really try to understand and help.

While hotel staff is reasonable okay for speaking English, there are some technical snags in Aircon.

The staff go out of their way to make your stay even more comfortable.

Rooms are large and well appointed, breakfast good and the staff friendly and eager to please.

but for me very comfy bed, perfect bath with rainshower and good water pressure.

The room are clean, offer good and varied amenities.

Friendly welcome, nice and clean rooms with good bathroom.

Only reason for not giving 5 
stars was the Wi-Fi, it was slow and "hopped" off several times.

If you have the misfortune to stay here, one tip is that you will find the next-door property has a keg of beer at the reception and they will pour you a 10L mini-keg.

The staff were excellent at all times and the concierge went out of his way to ensure our stay was pleasant.

Restaurant was good and the staff there were very attentive.

Reception desk people were friendly and helpful.

The staff of this hotel is simply great!!

Getting a taxi from the hotel is best done by booking one at the hotel front desk with a short amount of notice.

A bowl of fresh fruit was also provided each day as was a small yoghurt and 2 bottles of water.

but city center is lively at night, and the concert hall is of great modern arquitecture.

In this hotel spa was closed, and part of the building was under renovation.

The hotel was not fully occupied and renovation was being done in some areas.

Sadly the thing that haunts me,  is the main restaurant staff, in a nutshell their attitude reflects on their desire for a career change.

The only "negative" is that there are no restaurants outside the hotel at walking distance;

but the 'no smoking' in eating and enclosed areas is not a priority so we couldn't wait to get out of there.

but the food and cleanliness could all be better.

Suggested for 1 night maximum and bring food and patience.

My accommodation was excellent and the room clean and comfortable.

45 waiting time to have a room because the Staff was insisting in giving a smoking room.

but just the fact that l took a non-smoking room, and there is an ashtray on the table, it just changes the perception immediately, TV is Chinese which is fine in the end, if you are not there to sit back and watch something, the balcony is ok and there is some panorama in the distance.

All other staff were fantastic especially the guys at the main door, they went out of their way to please.

People at the lobby were nice and helpful.

though reception staff and rest of staff were nice.

We had a group of 13 come to the lobby to check in, and with no other guests there, and 4 staff on-hand, it took them 30 minutes to sort everything out.

The furnishing in the room follows a dark coloured scheme and it's not bad.

Well located hotel, nice and friendly staff, good services and breakfast are also great.

The location was great, really close to the Sunning Mall which was brilliant.

Location is conveniently located next to Suning Plaza shopping mall with plenty of shops and restaurants.

Check in was swift and the rooms are clean and cosy.Curtain opens up automatically to a view of the city as you enter the room,
Definitely value for money for this standard of rooms and service.Will be back for sure.

It is also in a good location with plenty of restaurants and shopping within walking distance.

Nearby are some other shopping complexes with supermarkets.

The surrounding areas are filled with shopping, both economic and luxury levels.

The lady serving us is very nice and the speed is really good.

The Staff was always very friendly and helpful.

.The concierge also recommended dinner at notable “authentic” restaurant.

Concierge is very helpful, providing information on attraction and getting cabs for visitors.

I enjoyed the pool and felt staff were nice and attentive.

Even we liked the staff, we are not totally convinced if they are trained well.

Concierge was best in the World, Cecilia was very helpful and went above and beyond her duties to assist me .

The hotel ozzeses luxury and all staff are friendly and always willing to assist without hesitation.
