As many other reviews have stated, the HVAC doesn’t seem to work.

After washing up, I realizing the abominable odor, and air condition unable to provide cooling temperature, I requested to switch room.

As other reviews have mentioned, the air conditioning does need to be better, especially in the summer months.

Just one issue - AC temperature generally remains high and it gets hotter at night.

My nose is very sensitive, so all night air-conditioning resulted in me having a running nose and itchy eyes today while I am writing this.

The only thing is that the a/c in the room did not seem to cool enough

but it was cold there, seems no air con running.

The bed linens and carpet always felt damp, possibly from no bathroom fan to run during showers.

We had to call only once, about air conditioning, and after the call, air conditioning was provided throughout our stay.

Otherwise, the AC would have been a big problem.

But this stay the AC was not working correctly and that meant not as good sleep as possible.

There is also a mall conveniently located just outside the hotel.

The rest of the stay was good and location next to a Mall, very convenient.

Very convenient location we arrived by metro (subway number 2) and walked to the hotel in two minutes.

Great location, just cross the street to find the Wanda Plaza, a quite good mall and supermaket where you can find evething you need.

The hotel is located centrally and is next to Wanda Plaza mall.

Located with line 2 subway literally next to the parking lot makes getting around extremely convenient.

It is located immediately next to a subway terminal that will get you all around the city for less than .75 cents (US Dollars).

I stay here several times a year and I call it my Wuxi home because it's comfortable, good location, has great facilities including gym.

Good staff who try hard to please and the facility is well run, good food and services plus the gym is good and located right next door to Wanda plaza which has many stores to shop at and restaurants.

The location of this hotel is great for getting to many tourist locations, including Xihui Park.

This hotel is in good location - steps away from subway line 2 and 15 min taxi ride to huishang old town .

Company booked me a room at the Sheraton Wuxi.

I have yet to be in a room that keeps the room at a comfortable temperature.

At the moment, the room temperature was at 24 degrees Celsius, and I lowered the thermometer to 20 degrees.

The rooms are clean and with the amenities you’d expect with a functional 5* class hotel.

The check in was very smooth and the room very comfortable.

This hotel is wonderful.

Confortable bed with clean linies, internet in the room is excellent, I used to connect every night with my company in Brazil and it worked properly everytime.

The rooms are spacious, a little dated though.

Jane from the Executive Club Lounge was certainly one that achieved above and beyond in terms of our expectations when visiting a lounge.

The club lounge was fantastic with a great selection of food and beverages.

We were impressed with the hours of the fitness center and swimming pool.

Room on 28th floor had nice view and fitness center well equipped.

I arrived at the hotel by car and was greeted by the concierge team at the lobby in charge of inspecting guests’ health codes, travel history cards, and PCR testing reports.

The Lobby Lounge where we received our free drinks was a good one,

After a 40 minute journey from the airport to Intercontinental, we arrived at a grand 2 storey tall lobby complete with beautiful Christmas festive decor.

The lobby bar is good, also food in the bar is well prepared and presented.

The lobby and hallways were spotless and well appointed.

There’s a nice bar at the lobby which also serves snacks and bar food.

The lobby bar was good for a beer and even dinner: I didn't expect much from the steak,

The room was really clean and tidy, to the best of the housekeeper’s ability.

Most importantly under these COVID-19 Conditions, the room was clean interiorly.

I was not impressed with how the hotel smelled like a bathroom in a shopping mall.

One significant detail was the smell of the room upon entering for the first time.

even though the floor was marked non smoking it smelled strong and really badly.

Like most other Chinese hotels, there was a bit of mildew beginning to develop in the wet areas of the bathroom (nothing major at all, and it seemed very common in all 5 star hotels here in China).

Very disappointed with the smoking smell all over the room, which was supposed to be a non smoking floor.

The smell never gone during my stay at all.

The only things that is not so good is the western breakfast, poor choice and quality so so; also, the SPA was closed and no options nearby were given.

The only me time i got was in the gym sauna and a super loud public indoor pool.

Today I had an appointment for a "Thai pedicure" at 1:00pm.

Massage Spa: The worst technique ever and she tried to charge me, 698RMB/60min, 998RMB/80min or 1598RMB/90min.

If I wanted a massage, I would have to go outside of the hotel, so this is definitely disappointing for an InterContinental.

In addition, the windows were really in need of some cleaning from the outside.

Second, was the practice of placing unused pillows on the window sill.

Hotel room is comfortable, good size and very clean.

If you don't want to spend too much money and stay somewhere clean and comfortable then this is a good option.

The breakfast was great and overall a very comfortable stay.

but it was a comfortable hotel with a Starbucks close by.

When you are SO far from home, it's really appreciated having such a beautiful hotel to stay in and a comfortable bathroom.

but just about everything is a little tired and worn.

We had a western style toilet, and sink and plenty of toilet paper and tissues( a hard commodity in China).

On arrival no porters to assist with luggage hence one of our bags was left n the taxi, we had to put up a scene to get them to react in assisting us to get hold of the taxi company to return our bag.

Initially getting stuck in the lift for 20 mins did not fair me well after a flight.

Local foods including Century and Salted duck eggs marinated lotus root, and marinated fish.

They had western menu plus lots of local food to try.

A huge advantage of this hotel is that it’s very conveniently located in the heart of the city and you can just go out for a walk, visit a shopping mall, designer’s boutiques or choose from multiple local food restaurants.

By this point in time we were getting quite tired and the spotlessly clean rooms and overall quality gave us a great rest and we were ready for another long day of touring.

As a smoker, I try to be considerate of such things and limited my habit to window smoking when needed.

The air conditioning in the rooms do take forever to cool the room and the best you will get is 24c if you keep it on for a day continuously.

The air conditioner in my room wasn't working well and my colleagues had similar problems.

but the night got
Completely ruined by the air conditioning not working in the room, complained several times but help did not arrive till 2 hrs later after I called front desk 4 times.

Strong cigarette smell also came through the central air conditioning

Good hotel which is 4/5 with big rooms and good breakfast.

The Millenium Hotel is very nice, the rooms very big and all in all very clean.

The hotel is the typical hotel which I’m used to, when I travel for business: a large room with couch, desk where to work, Wi-fi connection, kingsize bed and a large TV.

At first glance everything looked very upscale and polished and I was very happy with my huge room with separate sitting room and nice bathroom.

It was very clean, it had big rooms with great bathrooms, all common areas were beautiful, the breakfast was good.

My room was big, with a little living room equipped with two armchairs, a sofa and a small table: really nice!.

It is obvious that the hotel  was under japanese management before and now laid into chinese hands.

However, half the clientele was North America and European so here's a tip for management: serve coffee and tea in carafes as soon as people sit down.

However, when we checked in on April 9, 2011, the hotel deputy manager said breakfast was not included.

This hotel is very good, big and clean rooms, good restaurants and mini markets to buy snacks, beverages and other basic stuffs.

The downright unforgivable;
 - I had to request that the mini bar be filled (it was completely empty on my arrival) and then it subsequently was not refilled.

One small story, there was a afternoon tea group buying on local website, before I purchased, I asked the Lounge Bar staff to confirm whether this afternoon tea can be sent to my room for eating, he answered yes, when we arrived, the staff was not on duty and another staff at the bar Lounge refused to meet my requirements, what a joke, is that your IHG service that put customer East and West and what a non-sense of your staff.

but after the next series of bad experiences, first restaurant offers no wine, but their empty bar does?

the first time there was no hot water in the shower.

Make sure you use the blackout curtains properly because there are flashing lights on the outside of the hotel and if you leave a gap they can illuminate the room while you're trying to sleep.

I tried this and had to suffer the embarrassment of having 2 front desk staff holding the notes up to the light in full view of the entire reception area, before they shared a joke between themselves, then telling me they could not accept them due to a tiny black mark on one of the £20 notes.

The service staff tried hard and at several points asked if they could do anything else to make our stay more enjoyable.

Upon check in, I had to wait as explained they could not find the reservation or any records, after 10 minute a nice lady came and asked me to please step over to the next counter, there she said we are sorry

Nice 5 star hotel, room was clean,good size,and feels cozy; fairly good service; there are some small local restaurants and a couple of convenient stores around the hotel, and there is a Starbucks downstairs.

The room was clean, spacious and the beds were comfortable.

but limited English made communication a struggle.

The towels had holes in them and the staff was not even willing to get us a cab.

However, as others have mentioned, it is difficult to communicate with the staff.

Drunk man passed out on luggage cart in lobby as staff ignores mess.

Just wish one person on the staff spoke English.

When I asked at the front desk for a coffee packet for the room the front desk lady was very rude.

but space is small, hence difficult to find an available table.

but the restaurant is a little too small as we have to share tables..

but again, layout for the seating area was convoluted and badly planned with too many large tables placed at odd angles.
