The breakfast buffet was good and well stocked.

People keep mentioning the breakfast! Wow!

Wonderful duplex suite with well equipped kitchen, lovely temperature controlled fireplace, plentiful pillows, cozy chairs, excellent breakfasts!

We needed a place to stay the night before meeting up with children and grandkids for a family backpacking trip to view the larches.Chewuch Inn exceeded our expectations - friendly and helpful staff, peaceful setting, wonderful breakfast.

The outstanding thing to me was the coffee– really delicious!

Breakfast offerings are tasty and mostly homemade.

From the moment we walked in and was greeted with a huge smile, laughs and a personal tour, as well as tips and information on the local haunts .. to our incredible clean and comfortable King suite room, the hot-tub, and the amazing breakfast! Ok, the breakfast was beyond amazing, we voted it the #1 breakfast of the entire trip .. and the room also won #1 room of the entire trip (which included some high-end resorts later.. this place beat them all out)

We had a slice of cauliflower frittata, and pumpkin-chocolate chip muffins for breakfast.

The breakfast in the main hall is a treat I look forward ro every morning.

The breakfast is a highlight - always tasty and fresh - definitely a great way to start out the day.

The buffet breakfast they provided was better than average with an egg dish each morning (freshly made from real eggs) plus good pastries, muffins, juice, coffee, tea, milk and the ubiquitous waffles everyone seems to serve these days.

Breakfast was included and had many choices that were fresh baked.

The setting is fantastic, the attention to a "green" system and native landscaping is commendable, the breakfast was outstanding, the rooms fabulous, and the staff friendly and helpful.

The breakfast was yummy and they have a nice big hot tub for relaxing in.

It was spacious, totally stocked with everything,  Fireplace, hot tub, totally beautiful place.

The hot tub looked great, wish we had brought swim suits.

(Bonus if you can score one with a hot tub!

but had a great hot tub to enjoy in the evenings after a day of snowshoeing.

The back of our cabin was very private, so soaking in the hot tub was great.

but this time we splurged and rented cabin 16 with the king bed and hot tub.

The cabin was incredibly clean, well equipped, modern and bright with a comfy bed and hot tub out back.

The fireplace and  private hot tub were my favorite.

Private hot tub felt great after an adventurous day.

I appreciated the secluded back deck & hot tub yet we were w/in walking distance to town.

We enjoyed the private patio and scenery.

Our room, Eagle's Nest, was up a private stairway with a little balcony space in front of the door, so we were able to leave the curtains on the large windows open to awake to a beautiful sunrise on the mountains.

Chewuch Inn & Cabins is always a delight as the accommodations are very nice and clean, private and the staff here is exceptionally friendly!

Comfortable bed, plenty of space, felt private.

The view from the balcony is not private & really doesn’t have view.

It was also nicely located close to town yet quiet and private.

Comfortable and spacious romantic king room with private patio with table and chairs where we enjoyed breakfast and happy hour each day.

Our second floor room had a private entrance - and a lovely view of the snow covered mountain in the distance.

The two basement rooms each have a private entrance.

We have stayed most recently in cabin Mattie which is private and lovely.

The beds were soft and comfortable, nice bathroom, the decor is spot on, full kitchen, grill outside, and private hot tub.

This cabin had a private hot-tub which was very nice.The staff was great as was the breakfast.

We love that the cabin has enough space for all of our gear, a spacious refrigerator with plenty of room for the food and drinks we bring along, a huge shower, an outdoor patio including our own gas grill and private hot tub, and best of all a full sized coffee maker including ample fresh ground coffee from a local roaster.

We will try to book one of the cabins with a private hot tub next time!

The Chewuch Inn is conveniently located for Nordic skiing, which was the reason for our visit, and we always look forward to the best breakfasts we've ever experienced while traveling.

We had great time skiing and relaxing in the cabin afterwards.

We walked to the trailhead for skiing and then visited shops in town—never found the need to use our car.

The location is also very convenient for mountain biking and x cross country skiing and being close to town.

After skiing all day, it sure was nice so soak in the hot tub.

We come to Winthrop each winter to enjoy the wonderful cross country skiing the Methow Valley has to offer.

We love going each year to the Methow Valley to enjoy the fabulous cross country skiing trails.

Cookies and cider are waiting for you when you return from skiing at the end of the day.

Looking forward to staying there for the cross-country skiing.

After a day of skiing the Methow trails, we loved returning soaking in the hot tub and just relaxing in the well-appointed romantic king cabin.

Would love to return in the winter for cross country skiing.

Our cabin was the perfect place to curl up after a day of skiing.

The common area with the fireplace was a nice place to relax after a day of skiing.

The location is perfect for XC skiing,the breakfasts are wonderful, and the cabin is a cozy home away from home.

but since we spent the day outdoors skiing, and hot tubbing, the room was like a welcome cave to watch movies and the winter olympics.

It is also located across the road from Cross Country Skiing, snow shoeing trailhead.

Tons of space, nice private hot tub, great service from staff including recommendations for skiing and snow blowing around our car after a foot of snow, nice breakfast, and great relaxation.

Whether, the summer (hiking) or winter (cross country
skiing) season we love exploring new trails within the Winthrop and surrounding areas.

We I booked this room about a month ago, I wanted a queen room and the lady told me this was a small room, and yes it was a small room,

For a small room it was the most very well laid out with lots of shelves, hooks, counters and space to spread out.

The room also had a very small extra bedroom if traveling with a 3rd person or children.

We stayed in one of the small rooms since we weren't looking to spend a lot of money.

Our family enjoyed a relaxing stay with the sound of the nearby Twisp river,  comfortable king size beds, a delicious breakfast and attentive staff.

A nice breakfast was in fridge for our first AM.

The hotel is lovely, in a fabulous location on the river. The homemade breakfast was delicious as were the G&T’s (thanks Donna!)

Homemade breakfast every day right on the river and the details in our room were over the top including little extras like reading, glasses and earplugs, eye masks, and super thoughtful extras.

From loacally roasted coffee to sleep masks, reading glasses, comfy robes and slippers to a generously portioned gourmet grab and go breakfast that consisted of quiche, scones, bread pudding and fresh fruit all waiting for you in the fridge.

Breakfast is included - homemade items which are delicious.

Twisp River Suites waits on you and makes you feel so welcome, helps you plan your adventures if needed, and has the best breakfast of any hotel I have ever stayed at.

Nice view out back to the river, large, inviting space, clean, nice kitchen, friendly hosts and very nice breakfast.

You could really tell this was a single owner establishment, because it had the feel of 'home' and yet was meticulously clean with so many "extras" from the robes, slippers, ear plugs and eye masks to the gourmet, homemade breakfast every day.

Breakfast, which was in out room and ready for us to heat up at our leisure was plentiful and very  tasty, crestless quiche, yogurt, bread pudding, fresh fruit and some yummy fresh breakfast bar.

We stayed two nights here, and from the friendly greeting and personal tour of the facility at check-in, to the small yet personal touches in the room, to the wonderful breakfast and gorgeous views of the river from the deck downstairs, we would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The suite was more like a condo with a large bedroom, full kitchen, living room, full bath, coat closet and full laundry. Crazy accommodating (no pun intended!)

We had two puppies and the do friendly rooms had everything we needed and then some, including a shared full kitchen and dog treats, fenced back area with propane fire pit and a custom made swing for me and my girl to relax in!

); a local doctor sold us a spectacular lasagna to cook in our full kitchen, breakfast was delicious and Joe even loaned my son a dress shirt as he had a zoom interview and forgot a nice shirt!

This small inn has several river front suites that are well designed, with full kitchens and a comfortable living area and bedrooms.

We loved having a full kitchen as we did a lot of cooking because of Covid, huge bedroom with King bed and skylight (tip, close at night so the sun doesn't wake you in the AM), large living room with reclining couches, very comfortable central air, washer & dryer in the unit, and a screened in porch with swing over looking the river.

though we were there when their food service was limited, they had a premade breakfast ready in the refrigerator with fresh fruit, quiche, yogurt, scones some kind of bread pudding and a full kitchen to warm it up or cook your own meals.

The full kitchen came in very handy and featured tea and the local roasted coffee.

The unit has a full kitchen so you can cook if you choose.

It has a full kitchen so get organic food from the local markets and cook up a storm in your cozy place after your outdoor hiking/skiing/snow-shoeing/shopping/visiting the country town of Winthrop (10 miles away)!

We had a full kitchen with new appliances, many special touches- would be great for a longer stay.

We had a bedroom with two queen beds, one and a  half bathrooms, a washer and dryer, a full kitchen, large living/dining area and a huge screened in porch, complete with a porch swing, which overlooked the river.

They are dog friendly which is plus if you are traveling with you four legged family member.

We stayed in the pet suites as that was the only room available, and were honestly worried it wouldn’t be as nice, that couldn’t have been more opposite of the case!

They had everything a dog owner could want.

The pet suite thought of everything to make your stay with your pet so enjoyable.

The  pet suites are the best accommodations for pets we’ve ever experienced.

We booked one of the pet friendly rooms at Twisp River Suites and loved everything about our stay!

It was a 110 degrees outside and my husband and I (along with our dog Sadie) were determined to go on our little vacation regardless of the heat and it was very well worth it!

We had a wonderful stay in the pet friendly suite.

This is a great place to stay especially if you have pets traveling with you.

Reserved the Pet Suite 2 in February for a 4 Memorial Day Weekend.

The Pet Suite was cleaner than anyplace we have been and stocked with everything you could need.

We were bringing our 2 year old golden retriever, and this spot allowed pets.

Doggy suite #2 was great and our puppers loved the enclosed private patio, the oversized chair and dog beds!

Everything was super comfortable and convenient even for our dog! We had a fantastic time cross country skiing on the Methow Valley Trails--very extensive and nicely groomed (and some dog-friendly!)

We discovered Twisp River Hotel on a spontaneous trip with our elderly, adventure dog.

There were some lovely common spaces you could sit that were right next to the river that were very beautiful and relaxing.

Twisp River Suites was a perfect retreat in the foothills of the North Cascades.

This was a serene way to ease into retirement living.

The location on the Twisp River is beautiful and very peaceful.

The sound of the Twisp River, right outside your door is relaxing.

Relaxing retreat in the middle of a hectic wedding weekend.

Located on the picturesque shores of the Twisp River, this laid-back lodge combines creature comforts galore with a natural setting that invites relaxation and slowing down.

Clean, well maintained and created for relaxation and comfort.

I especially enjoyed reading my book on the screened in balcony over looking the river, so peaceful!

It was a perfect place to unwind after a long day of hiking.

After checking in and seeing how wonderful and relaxing the Twisp River Inn was, we asked if they could extend our stay to two nights, and they were able to accommodate us.

Great little town wonderful get away for travelers with pets looking to escape the rat race for a few days for rest and relaxation!

Our room was right on the river, and we were able to listen to that wonderful sound while sipping our wine and relaxing after a  long day of driving.

So peaceful sitting on the swing listening to the river.

The view and the scenery around this area are excellent and very relaxing with the river right outside your door.

The details made staying at the hotel relaxing and a much needed respite from the day to day.

We really enjoyed our relaxing weekend stay at Twisp River Suites.

but with a shade in case you want a dark room to sleep in).

My husband improvised and
we closed the shade for the remainder of our stay.

A reminder to be sure to pull the skylight shade to avoid early morning light.

Our room was one of the suite bedroom/bathrooms that was locked off to provide a small room at a lower cost.

Rooms are a bit on the small size and have king size beds.

Big rooms with full kitchens, washer/dryers, and spa like bathrooms,  or small rooms with all the accommodations

Though, with the heater unit near the entry, the room did seem a bit small (that said, we were traveling with our toddler).

We were moved to the main lodge for the rest of our stay and comped our first night as well as the breakfast the next day, which was appreciated.

No one really answers the phone at the main desk either about half the time, and the restaurant wanted us to make reservations for breakfast

We ate one breakfast and two dinners at the lodge and found the food quite satisfactory.

Breakfast was lovely - coffee with an amazing view and the choices on the menu great, out favorite was the salmon/pea puree toast, yummy!

We actually only found one entree and appetizer very delicious.

The buffet breakfast was worse than a complimentary breakfast at most hotels

The food was delicious and the grounds are beautiful.

The restaurant has super delicious food and drinks.

I only did the breakfast buffet once because I can't eat $26 worth of food in the morning and the bakery in Twisp is so fantastic, why would i?

The breakfast had a huge selection, was a buffet.

The breakfast menu the 4 mornings we ate there were "too much of the same".

As the view is amazing in the dining room I wouldn't of paid to eat a buffet style breakfast at a high end resort.

The dinner was delicious and drinks were spot on.

But, the quiet was very enjoyable, the food delicious, and the staff was friendly and made us feel welcome!

The food was fantastic, with a wide variety of delicious options that left us eager for more.

We enjoyed soaking in the hot tub and had a delicious dinner in the dining room while we enjoyed views of the sunset over the Cascades.

There are two dining options at the resort, both pretty pricey, there is a beautiful dining room with a good menu,

The staff at the main dining room were also very kind.

The dining room and lounge offer a grand view of the Methow valley.

We received excellent and timely service in the dining room.

Although the Dining Room needs an improved menu & inventory control, all staff throughout the property were very professional, courteous, and personable.

Dining room and bar were very nice, with wonderful food and drinks.

The view from the dining room was spectacular.

Service in the dining room and Bar and Grill were both questionable.

Dinner was fine in both the dining room and bar.

We brought our own coffee pot and would drink coffee, do yoga, eat breakfast in our room or at the Lodge dining room, and then go hiking right out the room door.

We just missed seeing a bear cub from the main lodge dinning room.

Service especially in the dining room was very personal with friendly staff listening to our stories and sharing theirs.

Our dinner in the formal dining room was incredible and not one that we'll soon forget.

We want to return and stay three nights so we can experience the spa, horseback riding, paddle boating, the outdoor jacuzzi, exploring Winthrop, and having lunch & dinner at the Sun Mountain Lodge dining room.

While we visit the town for variety, we generally eat in the Lodge's dining room or the bistro.

My only complaint is that you are paying 5-star prices for below average quality food and very slow service due to understaffed kitchen staff and servers.

With the nightly rate and additional nightly "resort fee" it just felt like some of these things should have been complimentary and it took away from the 4-star experience.

Our meal in the restaurant was truly awful at exorbitant prices.

Unfortunately the service we have come to expect has become lacking and really does not justify the cost anymore.

However paying over $300 for a night of no sleep with just the cancelling of the $50 resort fee isn't much compensation.

Did I mention these are very expensive cabins?

Food was not good and it was too expensive.

Unfortunately everything was fairly cold (we did eat late the morning we ate there) and it was very expensive.

We had a gift card so we had to book on the phone and incidentally did not get the best price available so the rooms was over $450.00 each night.

It is a little on the more expensive side

The really annoying issue was the rather underhanded Resort Fee of $23 per day that is added to the total charge over and above the quoted rate.

but at the prices charged it could have been at least as good as what you find down in Winthrop.

I jokeingly recommended the Lodge best things were no Desk( for which to work) and TV (to let the outside world in) Very relaxing and enjoyable with plenty of outdoor activities.

While there are plenty of options for hiking, cycling, or horseback riding, relaxing at the resort was my preferred option.

It was peaceful and the views were stunning.

The property is beautiful, quiet and peaceful.

Whether you're looking for adventure or relaxation, this lodge has something for everyone.

The cabins were a nice place for a family retreat.
