As this is a commercial and industrial area just near the airport having the list was helpful.

My wife hit the bottom of the orange juice, so took something else, next thing the lady in charge of breakfast brought over a glass of orange juice for her after getting the OJ firing again.

My partner and I arrived without a credit card and were stranded in Winnipeg with my service dog in tow.

No offer to comp room charges to the 5 victims, which could have been the very least you could do.

A day after we left the hotel the manager "texted" saying we had damaged the desk and was charging us an extra $258!

Be prepared for the "incidentals" charge with no clear indication of when (or if) the money will be returned.

Late check-out at 3pm for a small additional charge was a plus.

Not sure if my credit card got charged 3 times or not at this point.

So then they told me it would be an extra charge for them to go in and they can only go for half an hour,

I phoned the lady to ask why they were charge extra, she was not friendly over the phone and doesn't even sound friendly.

Then as I walked away he asked what room I was in and said he could get one and charged me 12.00.  it was strange

Quoted $130 on Best Western Rewards online and was charged $170 first night and $130 next two nights.

You are not relegated to a "pet room" either, nor charged extra.

but puzzled on the $200 damage deposit on our card.

If you booked here, get ready for the additional charges when you arrive in the hotel, the night staff are rude as well, im not pleased with their attitude.

To the credit of front desk staffer Josephine, we were promptly relocated to another room.

It did not give me comfort about how much exactly was taken off my credit card.

I was somewhat baffled at the request to leave a damage deposit on my credit card.

The free  breakfast included was very nice and fresh, full breakfast of scrambled eggs, sausages, potato cakes, toast, yogurt, fresh fruit, muffins, banana bread & fresh coffee.

The booking process and online check in works great, one of the best complimentary breakfasts you will find.

Parking and continental breakfast are included, and you are minutes away from a wide range of Winnipeg destinations

But the hotel is very clean, the rooms are very nice, they have snacks at night for the guests which are great  and the breakfast was really good.

To our delight, the snack has a variety of veggies, dip, salsa, tortilla chips, munchies and soup.

Breakfast was included, as well as snack in the evening, great comfort when you arrive later.

but it does have a small managers' reception for snacks in the evening and is within easy walking distance of many restaurants.

The breakfast was wonderful and they even provided snacks at night.

The hotel was central and within walking distance of the downtown core, St. Boniface, V.I.A.

Also, everything in downtown Winnipeg, including the Canada Life Centre (Winnipeg Jets) is an easy walk.

but it is also walking distance to other great downtown attractions.

A short walk takes you to the heart of downtown Winnipeg and St Boniface is easily accessible across the river.

Location is ideal - very close to downtown & arterial roadways as well as many walkways in the historic Forks area along the rivers.

Great downtown location found next to the Human Rights Museum, Childrens Museum, Forks Market and walking paths.

The hotel itself is in a great location, close to the Forks, Museum of Human Rights and a terrific small restaurant (Promenade Cafe) just across the river in St. Boniface and the James Street Pump House for dinner.

It's very close to other points of interest like the Winnipeg sign, the Human Rights museum and the Manitoba museum which we were all able to visit in the day we had at Winnipeg.

You have access to all of the independent shops and food options of the Forks, you are right next to the Children’s Museum, a playground, and a very short walk to the Museum of Human Rights.

There are also a couple of museums within walking distance and you really don't need to stray very far from the hotel to find a lot to fill your time.

We booked a Monday night stay and asked for an early check in so we could get to one museum or the Art Gallery Monday afternoon.

Give yourself a day to see and read all there is in the Museum of Human Rights and go to the 8th floor for the view.

It was within walking distance for museums, restaurants, shopping and walking trails.

While the hotel is very pricey, it is located in a prime spot at The Forks.

No one offered to reduce the cost of the room.

Parking was expensive at $20.00 per day plus the cost of the room and it was separate from the building.

Lost my reservation, I had to book last minute at a much higher rate.

.Parking could have been a little bit more secure for the price one pays to stay in an open parking lot and in which I parked my vehicle by myself every day during my stay.

The slow service, cold food, and ridiculously high pricing for mediocre food put a real damper on what otherwise was a lovely week in Winnipeg with old friends.

It was over $6 for two small glasses and it had to be paid before she’d bring it.

It is a little on the expensive side which carries with it higher expectations.

No designated parking for hotel guests and the parking fees were outrageous.

but that being said 225.I do feel the room was average and and very expensive for what the roomwas.

There was a switch on the wall to turn on the fireplace (one of the reasons we paid for this room), and as soon as the switch was turned on, it made a grinding and clanking sound as the "flames" were spinning.

No pool or hot tub area which I would have expected at this price point.

I stayed at the Inn at the forks for a work trip and enjoyed my accommodations a lot - the rooms were clean and modern, the staff were friendly and the food at the Smith restaurant was great.

I had to travel for business and this hotel was recommended and i was pleased with the staff and the cleanliness of the rooms.
