The hotel offers a good complimentary breakfast, free parking, and a short drive to the highway.

Eric at breakfast made sure everyone was fueled for the day!

Breakfast was the typical hotel food, a different egg dish each day, breads, waffles, cereal, etc.

Everything worked (Internet, elevators, hair dryer, etc,,the check in was quick, the room was clean and good sized, good location for my purposes, NO PARKING CHARGE, parking was right by the back door, and good breakfast.

Breakfast is free and has a nice variety of hot foods including my favorite a waffle maker.

Typical free breakfast and nice common area with free coffee/tea.

The room was spotless, check-in was easy and breakfast was delicious.

The breakfast is typical Hampton style breakfast so that was fine.

The complimentary breakfast was plentiful and delicious.

Close to downtown,  close to entertainment, pool, breakfast, and James at the front desk who remembers me by name and checks me in as an old friend.

Although the room was not dirty, it felt as if it wasn't really clean.

The Hampton Inns hav never disappointed us as for cleanliness and attention.

My room was clean and the view was great!

Clean, convenient, can walk to ballpark, strip and many places to eat.

Between the doors are up to five luggage carts.

We checked out on a Monday and at 10 AM there was a knock on our door.

Oddly, we did receive a loud knock on the door at 10 am announcing house-keeping despite having a check-out time just two hours later (never experienced that before).

but the walls seemed very thin, and the room doors slam very loudly.

I could hear something slamming the door over and over,

but why not in the room and Not in the hallway in front of other guests door???

but every time a door is closed, the place shakes.

Tile floor cracked and shower door off the hinges.

Open the door to the Room our shoes stuck to the tile in the entry and the bathroom to the point I had to take a washcloth and clean all of it twice just to get it to not stick.

Too many rude people talking in the hall after hours and slamming doors.

The one and only criticism is that the track space between shower doors and bottom edges of the shower doors should be cleaner.

Well at 9 am we got a knock on the door from housekeeping.

The grout in the tile by the front door and in the bathroom was black or gray, the shower had mold and rust in it, the paint on the bathroom ceiling was puckering and the sprinkler head had rust on it, the carpeting was unraveling where it met the tile, and the upholstered bench by the bed was stained.

Chelsey could have easily told my husband "we don't do anything" or write short note and slipped it under more door.

The facility shows some signs of use and age (door bottoms and frames beginning to rust, peel; loose faucet tap in the bathtub),

One night, the room next door to us was having a loud, late party - I called the front desk, security quietly handled it and we were able to go to sleep.

We never heard doors slamming, people talking or any noise coming from the street unlike in many other hotels we recentry stayed at.

although we arrived at 2am and the doors were locked, someone was waiting to check us in.

And if that was t enough parking was free . .

The water pressure in the shower was great and the free parking is a plus.

Free parking is included with the room rate, a significant bonus for a downtown hotel (expensive parking in general).

The hotel is in a great location and the free parking is a huge bonus, especially being that I could come and go as needed as I was there for work.

Pittsburgh has become an expensive city to stay in, the included parking is a real bonus and we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go and leave the car in the lot.

Otherwise nice stay, parking is free and secure, and it really is a good location for that area.

The free parking is certainly an added benefit for a downtown hotel.

The parking was free which is amazing for the area.

Rooms were clean and quiet, free breakfast AND free parking right outside the hotel!

Parking is included in the stay at no extra charge, making any longer trips easy.

Despite all the noise of a downtown location and nearby bridges across the Allegheny River, the rooms inside remain remarkably quiet.

There were several people waiting around in the lobby for a couple hours in the same position.

Safe location directly across the street from the history museum.

Always a great stay withe a great location.

A nice feature is the location near the Strip District and close to restaurants,  PNC park.

Conveniently located to walk to PNC Park, the Strip, the downtown business district, museums.

The location is great - close to many restaurants and stores.

In terms of location, quick drive to Carnegie science center and ball park/ football stadium.

Easy to get to this location from the expressway.

The hotel is very clean and located perfectly in the city of Pittsburgh.

This hotel is super conveniently located in downtown Pittsburgh to - sports stadium and Warhol Museum (15 min walk across the bridges), the Heinz Museum (across the street) and the Strip Distric (15 min walk and it's a shopping/restaurant area!).

The area is quiet and the hotel is also across the street from the Heinz History Museum, in a nutshell the location can't be beat.

Location of this hotel is perfect to walk to PNC park to see a Pirates game.

Acrooss the street from a terrific museum.

Right across from Heinz history museum as well.

We could walk across the street to the Heinz Museum.

Convenient for a nice walk over to the stadiums, science center and some museums.

This hotel was convenient to downtown Pittsburgh and right across from the Heinz History Museum.

A bonus for us was that the Heinz museum was across the street.

We LOVED that the Heinz History Museum was literally across the street and that we could walk to the strip area.

A big pro was this hotels proximity to restaurants, museums and the Point Park.

I would like to complement an employee by the name of ETHAN who works at the Hampton Inn & suites in the strip district across from the museum.

This hotel is directly opposite the history museum and the sports museum.

The cultural district, some museums, and transportation connections are easy to make.

Restaurant, explored the strip district and went to the Heinz History Museum right across the street.

It’s right across the street from the Heinz history center, a reasonable walk to the Andy Warhol  museum and the strip district.

The Smithsonian museum across the street, baseball park & museum each 5 minute walk.

She then got me into a room early and was extremely conscientious about the room type.

Housekeeping doesn't automatically clean your room and make your bed every day.

(That's funny, I can book any of 5 room types online right now. It really feels like she just makes up answers as she goes.)

Room was super clean and the renovation and upgrades were really nice.

but my room, which faced the road, was quiet.

Staff were informative and friendly, house keeping was still cleaning neighboring rooms and helped us with extra linens and towels since we had a party of 5.

Luckily we had another friend who already got her room so we were able to get ready for the concert there since our room wasn’t available in time for us to leave.

(But the staff offered to send housekeeping up to clean the room.)

Rooms were very clean and we stayed on the 8th floor and didn’t hear any noise.

The room was comfortable and felt like it was handled with care when we arrived.

Nika(Front Desk  Rep) was professional, helpful and courteous.

Jaine at the front desk could not have been more accommodating & kind.

The staff is very professional and helpful.

Holly, a front desk agent, greeted me very kindly after a long travel day.

If employees are willing to do something this egregious what else are the employees are willing to do?

Nika was very helpful when we recently planned a return stay.

but another guy was there to give me two mini bottles.)

Management is doing a great job and it shows through the staff!

Each member of the staff was polite and helpful.

James at the front desk is very customer centric and professional.

The staff was very friendly and asked us about our plans and gave us some information.

We were within walking distance to the Strip district, a short 10 to 15 minute walk, visited the Heinz Center right across the street.

We were within walking distance of the “Strip District” and PNC field where the Pirates played.

Walkable to strip district for food and site seeing options.

Great location, friendly helpful staff, walking distance to Strip District, restaurants and attractions; great hot breakfast for free with many healthy choices.

This Hampton Inn is located between the Cultural District and Strip District near the Allegheny River.

The hotel is very close to strip district and we walked to PNC Park, the inclines, and the park.

The staff was friendly, the place was clean, close to everything and within walking distance to the "Strip District", the Convention Center, and anywhere downtown.Free breakfast, free parking and a fair room value !

The thermostat had low batteries and the heating unit did not work properly.

Heaps of dirty laundry in the hall for a few days
No exhaust fan in bathroom so towels stay forever damp
Clock didn't work
No guide for Channels on TV
Elevator broken; called front desk - no answer
Called front desk several times - no answer - went to lobby to see if anyone was there;      there was,

Peeling paint, water damage, lack of cleanliness, mold in the bathroom, LOUD A/C, the room was dark and dingy, and I didn't dare sit on the sofa.

The air conditioning unit was extremely loud.

The master cable unit seemed to be shot so ultimately we left the TV on for the complete time on Saturday and gave up on Sunday.

Our room alternately noisily blew cold and hot air.

The bathroom had paint peeling off the ceiling and no exhaust vent.

Upon entry to the room, the temperature was 83 degrees and the A/C was off, so I had to wait several hours for the room to cool down.

Smoke detector was hanging from ceiling, needle caps in couch, ac was broke so it was hot all night.

The heat did not function properly, I had to run the AC the entire time just to get the room temp below 76* (it was 31* outside) tv didn’t work, fan in bathroom didn’t work, peeling paint & holes in bathroom.

Would be nice if the constant fan function actually worked to drown out the highway and deliveries.

My sheets had poop on them,toilet was running all night, ac doesn't get cold and mattress sags and killed my back.

The bathroom does not have vent, and it would be nice to have a room safety box.

but the hotel hallways have no A/C or ventilation - so they were stuffy and humid.

Room A/C unit was very noisy and the pillows were too soft.

First time the paint was chipping off the wall in big chunks, the thermostat was hanging out of the wall on the wires, the beds were terrible.

I lowered the thermostat to 65 degree to have the fan running to get some fresh air.

The people doing the breakfast were very attentive and helpful, being sure everything was filled and ready to eat.

The very nice man managing breakfast kept Pologizing as he was left with no danish, muffins, whole milk fruit salad or cereal other than rice Krispies to serve all weekend.

We had a nice room and slept well , and we also enjoyed the breakfast provided each morning.

The cookies that were out in the evening were delicious, and breakfast was good as well.

Breakfast was okay and staff was friendly maintenance  issues in restroom prevented 5 star rating.

The complimentary breakfast was much better than most, and the gentleman, Carie I believe, who was working in the Pantry, did an excellent job of making sure everything was well stocked and neatly organized.

A very scaled back breakfast with few offerings such as individually wrapped plain bagels, blueberry muffins, mandarin orange cup, and individual cups of orange juice-every day.

I opted instead for a breakfast place on my way to Ohio.

The breakfast in the morning was either NO or cold coffee plus packaged boiled eggs, packaged muffins and yogurt.

Breakfast was hard boiled eggs and bagels.

however they did offer grab bags and hot coffe and other items at request (cereal, milk, yogurt, fruit).

Breakfast was the lamest of 5 Hilton’s I stayed at.

The hotel offers a morning breakfast til 10:00am.

We loved the smoothies that they offer at  breakfast.

The hotel is clean, comfortable and convenient and with the new management welcome upgrades have been made.

The rooms were clean, the fitness center was great, the staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable.

but clean and nearby all places we needed to visit.

The staff are always excellent and the place is always very clean.

My husband stayed there last night while travelling for business expecting to relax in a clean and friendly Hampton.

There were several great employees to make up for that one’s lack - housekeeper who quickly and cheerfully got us a set of clean towels, a fast check in clerk, and a cheerful morning staffer who always had a smile on her face.

Clean quiet and safe - not a far drive or Uber to/from downtown.

Environment was very clean and professional! !

but hotel makes nothing but cut backs and decrease service, amenities, and cleanliness.

We were very happy with the hotel and the cleanliness of the room.

Hotel was very clean, bed was super comfy and the room was quiet.

The room was spotless and guests were quiet through our stay.

The supposedly put us in a room that was clean.

Room was clean, front desk worker was friendly and helpful, and the free shuttle to downtown was very convenient.

They do provide free shuttle to and from downtown area so that is a added plus

One last thing, the free shuttle to downtown is an option that can’t be beat.

Great hotel, free shuttle, clean and the staff was amazing.

This hotel, with its free shuttle (except for voluntary tips) was ideal.

Great location just outside the city with a free shuttle to downtown.

Ron gave the best narrative and mini-tour of the city when dropping us off and picking us up from downtown (via free shuttle).

The biggest perk to this hotel was the free shuttle they offer to downtown locations.

They offered us helpful information. We  did not us the free shuttle due to our tight schedule

Stopped at this hotel outside of Pittsburgh (15 min) due to it offering a free shuttle service into town.

The staff was always courteous and helpful, and if you're going to a game, they have a free shuttle that takes you to and from the free train stop (two stops to the game).

It offers a free shuttle to certain parts of downtown Pittsburgh.

Very nice and helpful staff and the free shuttle to the game was a nice surprise!

Love the free shuttle to and from PNC Park for baseball games.

The free shuttle takes you to all the popular places and the driver is very nice.

Stayed in this hotel because if the free shuttle to Heinz Field.

Good location when attending football or baseball games ,if you don't mind using the free shuttle.

Excellent hotel, good breakfast,and complementary shuttle to and from the game.

Front desk to cleaning staff were friendly and helpful through out our stay.

The other staff were welcoming and friendly.

The morning desk clerk was very friendly.

When we arrived the hotel receptionist was very friendly, she made cookies and offered us some cookies and water.

Receptionist on duty was very friendly and came to the desk promptly in spite of the late hour.

Staff was very friendly, beds were comfy, and we appreciated being able to bring our dog.

The staff were wonderful -- professional and friendly.

Rooms are very clean and staff very helpful and friendly.

**On a positive note, the staff was friendly & accommodating**
