Bathroom is stainless steel (more y2k vibes) with sink that didn't drain so you get to look at your toothpaste spit sit there.

You cannot move in them and the bathroom is like a public toilet cubicle with stainless Steel sink and sliding door that you can see the other person on the toilet even .

But beds were far too saggy soft and the strange room wiring meant we could have the bathroom lights off at night (door is opaque glass so not light blocking) or our bedside lights working

The worst aspects were the extremely poorly lit and ugly bathroom (forget your makeup) and the buffet breakfast which matches the worst of the worst 2 star bulk tourism model.

They had to open the sliding room to the tiny bathroom to make it look bigger.

The bathroom is full of stainless steel and looks like a public toilet.

This made it inconvenient to dry hair without a mirror.

The tiles in the bathroom 🤢 full of spots and stains.the herbal decor very very outdated and felt dirty.

There’s no room to dry yourself off after a shower and the weird steel sink/bench doesn’t fit with the rest of the hotels decor.

The bathrooms in all of the rooms were lacking in functionality.

Bathroom/toilet is a strange setup with a massive sliding door.

The room was disappointing especially the bathroom considering the price you pay.

The heritage rooms are very small as is the bathroom.

however was very small and the bathroom was not the quality I was expecting at all for the price.

The bathroom wasn't anything special, room was small and it definitely didn't encourage you to stay in.

The room was small and possibly the worst bathroom of any hotel we have ever stayed in, stainless steal and clinical, step into a tiny bath (that you wouldn’t use as a bath) to have a shower that continually went hot and cold.

I resigned myself to a cold shower and we headed out for the evening.

bathroom saturated as the fan was not working.

We decided to make a cup of tea, and couldn’t believe we had to get the water for the kettle out of the bathroom..As for the bathroom, it was extremely small and the bench was made out of stainless steel, it felt like a prison!!

Our "Two Nights Package" included several items: a most delicious dinner (we upgraded to the 6 course degustation menu) , two full breakfasts, wine tasting, visit and tour of the Mansion, a day at the Werribee Zoo and a very enjoyable Hamman (Turkish bath).

Breakfast and dinners at Joseph's were of the finest quality, and the staff were very friendly and attentive.

The breakfast buffet is a perfect way to start the day.

Included breakfast was of a reasonable standard except for the scrambled eggs which appeared not to be made from fresh eggs i.e.

Joseph's for lunch & dinner, everything was so delicious that you never wanted your plate to be finished 😋 
Highly recommended for a full 24 hrs to relax & rejuvenate the body & mind.

Every course was delicious, fresh and creative with a real surprise at the end!

We ate at the Winery for lunch and the food was delicious!

The food at Joseph’s Restaurant was excellent, I had the chicken burger and it was delicious.

The food was delicious and reasonably priced.

Today my sisters and I attended the Hotel for the High Tea, which was delicious cious.

The bar has updated its menu - Joseph’s restaurant offers a scrumptious breakfast and quality food if you choose to have dinner there too.

The light lunch in between treatments was also delicious,   I would go back there in a heartbeat.

The breakfast was one of the best we have ever experienced!

Was a beautiful stay, will admit the Buffett breakfast was the key down.

Service is excellent and breakfast was  generous.

All the attentions to details you find at a 5 ***** hotel, flowers and scents everywhere, and Oh what a great breakfast!

Before covid hit Melbourne my children sent my husband and myself for a special night at the mansion for my husbands Birthday and it was expensive present we had dinner there and breakfast.

I highly recommend visiting the Lancemore in Werribee for anyone looking for an indulgent experience in a historic yet luxurious setting.

The ambience is so relaxing and very classy.

but tired and the decor of the hotel has been styled a modern chic with stainless steel sinks and black tile, in complete contrast to the historical vibe of the compound.

I stayed at the historical Werribee Mansion last Monday and Tuesday 11/01/21 and 12/01/21.

Werribee Park mansion and surrounds are stunning and a lovely historic exploration.

Free entrance to mansion which is connected to the hotel with historical information.

The historic house next door is definitely worth a look and as a hotel guest entry is free.

Situated in acres of parkland this hotel’s location is its strongest selling point - next to Werribee zoo, the Equestrian centre, a winery and historic mansion.

Well worth the historical value and access to the old mansion itself where highlights.

Not only is the hotel and it surrounds the epitome of luxury in a historical setting

The hotel has beautiful grounds, close to the open plain zoo, you can tour Historical mansion for free which is a $10.40 per adult saving.

We had One voucher for high tea and paid for the second and a bottle of wine!

It is very expensive and we all agreed a total waste of money and there is nothing 5 star about it .

Don’t Eat here it’s overpriced and very average! !

If dining in your room - there is a room service menu with a small $6- fee attached.

For the price ..  Way overpriced..    we booked Heritage rooms like $670 per night.

As another reviewer has said this is a three star experience for a five star price.

For the price we paid, I expected a separate shower, not one over the bath and not a stainless steel sink that looked like those found in public bathrooms.

Paid around $1000 for the ‘Indulgence’ package and completely let down by the hotel.

but had we paid the full price I would be saying absolutely not.Both room service and reception were uncontactable via phone after 8pm.

It was a very limited breakfast menu and you are charged for any extras .

Unfortunately 5 star price for 3 star service and amenities.

for the price we were paying for our package, we were expecting a little more.

Although the breakfast board was nice, I think for the price we paid they should also offer an eggs and bacon type choice as well.

For the same price, we could have gone to another hotel/accommodation that has better standards. 3.

The Lancemore at Werribee Mansion ( seperate to the Werribee Mansion and gardens) was really underwhelming for the price paid.

but not very helpful or friendly and many were quite unknowledgeable about the property and location of things; in need of a refurb; overpriced for what you get.

From dirty corridors, the lift not working, filthy carpets, construction on site, making you pay upfront, no help with luggage, wrong advise.. where do I begin.

We stayed 2 nights and we couldn’t wait to get out of there as the room is so tiny and outdated that we didn’t want to spend anytime in it .

I gave this property 3 only because of the room .

First impression of the room was cold the most luxurious part was the tea cups purchased from T2.

Too many  things missing in the room to mention them all.

The room was a bit too small for two persons.

There was inadequate lighting in the room.

i told the manager how our room wasn't clean and the food was not good and he apologies and gave us  another night commentaries to come back.

Now the restaurant-
They NEVER answer the phone for room service- I had to call reception twice before I could even put in an order.

The cooling took forever to barely cool the room down.

No Champagne on arrival, room view looked over onto a rubbish pile and bins, served our starters before our drinks, sub-standard food - the list goes on!!!!!

As the TV was not working  in our room the second night, we were offered the option to change rooms.

We had the most wonderful experience on our girl's weekend.

My wife and I ended up laughing at the overall experience, which was defined in a moment by me traipsing the hotel at 630am hunting milk, coffee and cups, tripping over the previous nights room service tray.

My experience at the Werribee Park hotel was spectacular.

The staff were very welcoming, friendly and went above and beyond to ensure my family and I received a good experience.

We had the best experience and loved walking and exploring the beautiful grounds.

Had another wonderful experience at this great place (Friday afternoon - Sunday).

A member of another cycle group has had a similar experience.

I have stayed here 4 times and always found it to be a  and luxurious  experience.

The whole experience was extremely satisfying, from the monumental beauty of the mansion, to the sincere smile and perfect efficiency of the staff, from reception to room service.

The grounds are exceptional, the hospitality is also exceptional.

All staff at the hotel were helpful and thank you for the experience.

For one night stay, with a three course dinner we paid around $650- it’s probably a value point of $400-450 that I would pay for a similar quality and experience in a capital city.

But overall we had an amazing experience at this Historic Mansion and its beautiful surrounding, great service and good food at the Joseph's restaurant!

In a normal year I would spend over 170 nights in hotels and this experience was underwhelming.

My check in was the best experience , his name was Aboi, excellent customer service.

Set in the stunning Werribee Park, the hotel is an ideal retreat 30 mins away from Melbourne.

My husband, toddler and I stayed a couple of nights at Lancemore Mansion Hotel Werribee Park and were very warmly met by Sabine, and then farewelled by her.

We enjoyed a 2 great walks one around the grounds and one along the beautiful environs of the Werribee Park and River and a spectacular a la carte lunch and dinner and two delightful breakfasts.

We stayed for 2 nights over Easter, accomodating our family 2 adults & 4 kids was not a hassle for management.

Stayed there for 4 nights and couldn't of been happier, 5 Adults my husband, myself & 3 grown up children had to come down for my Dads funeral, the place was very clean and comfortable the manager very friendly & approachable.

We booked a family room for 4 adults and all commented on cleanliness and attention to detail.

Room are very comfortable, clean , Foxtel , owners are friendly, breakfasts are great, large potions!

Sandi & Bob were lovely hosts and presented such a good breakfast to us in the morning!

a perfect room that cannot be faulted , a hot breakfast delivered to the room and only 20 minutes easy drive to the airport.

The room was clean, tidy and very comfortable- had a good night sleep -(the pancakes for brekky were absolutely beautiful).

Towels are soft and sparkling white, beds and pillows are comfortable.

The bed was very comfortable and spacious.

The staff was super friendly & I was made to feel very welcome when I turned up there after driving 19 hrs from Gold Coast.

I was simply holding a conversation with my friend and he threatened to kick us out and call the police because we were too loud.

The manager, went out of his way to look after us, calling courtesy buses, providing rail travel cards, etc.

The heater and light had already been turned on for me on my arrival which was most welcoming.

Great very hot and powerful showers, coffee, tea, complementary water and ice from a really nice lady, Sally at the reception.

Incredibly personalised and efficient customer service pre, during and post stay.

I found the owner to be very accommodating.

but the lady manager was very responsive and helpful.

I was with a group of freinds and we enjoyed a very week priced full breakfast in the dining room.

Also, it is really worth to pay $10 AUD extra to have a delicious cooked breakfast with different choice of drink.

We took advantage of the $10 breakfast which was extremely filling and nice.

The meals were wonderful too - $10 each for bacon, egg & coffee brekky got us going each morning, and the steak deal on Thursday night was only $16 each (but after some drinks and desserts, the total came to $82 for both).

but close enough to drive, right after a great breakfast and refreshing sleep.

Staff were extremely helpful and the chef even came out to say hello and check how our breakfast was.

We had breakfast on-site, and were very pleased to see a European-style menu.

There is also confusion as to who is in charge and they are just all over the place and to top it off the rooms and grounds are filthy.

but thought the hotel would then charge me cancellation.

Please clear things before as they charge extra later.

They didn’t tell us until the last minute they there’s charge for opening the sofa.

There were some issues with my booking and I was charged twice.

Unfortunately the card key to our unit failed to work on Monday night at about 7.30pm.

no wifi at all for 2 days which make us really inconvience especially we can't do the online check-in for our flight) 

In addition, when we back to our room on the 2nd night around 9pm after our touring around Melbourne City, we found that our card key to access our room has been de-activated and make us can't enter our room.

Location is great if you want peace and quite, front door car parking.
