A spacious room, nice hot water in the shower, a wide tv screen..

Bedroom and Bathrooms were spotlessly clean and well appointed.

We stayed in a Comfort room which had a separate toilet to the bathroom.

Big room, clean bathroom, quiet sorroundings.

We've been in the Van der Valk because the other places further South were booked out and really liked it: modern rooms, balcony, big breakfast area with lots of choices and a terrace, modern bathrooms, enough parking.. All requirements fulfilled for the same price than some other hotels around.

This room was bigger and the bathroom more modern.

Goes VDV is great, not the newest of hotels buy still has big rooms, a lovely shower, nice tv great wifi and a cracking breakfast!

The bed was big and soft, the shower warm and powerful. And.

Surprisingly good for a Motel-like hotel , with spacious renovated rooms and very modern bathrooms.

The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms are very well furnished.

Nice Hotel close to Flushing, I get in due to fully booked hotels in Flushing area.

To give my review some context, In all the years I’ve stayed there, eating breakfasts, lunches and evening meals I have NEVER sent food back or complained about the quality of the food.

The breakfast was superb, really value for money!

Dinner in the restaurant especially the Saturday night buffet was excellent for choice and quality and breakfast was again excellent.

You could start breakfast at 6.30 and still be there at 10.

Buffet breakfast is excellent, varied and generous.

but to be expected for a hotel, the breakfast was self service & had plenty of variety, I would recommend the hotel to anyone.

We booked the Buffet meal for the Friday night and that was great too with  lots to choose from.

The Saturday dinner buffet was also quite good and tasty with a great variety of dishes.

Both our evening meal and breakfast was excellent.

The only positive is the comfortable bed and clean linen.

but in was very impressed at the size and cleanliness of the room.

Immediately on entering we felt comfortable with our choice, it was immaculately presented and we were not disappointed with our generously sized room.

Visited on business in the local area, nice very clean hotel, outstanding breakfast local to the motorway.

The hotel was extremly well presented and the room spotlessly clean.

Check in was efficient and friendly, the room was warm, spacious and clean.

but said he cannot deduct the steak from my bill due to the extensive notes in front of him.

Some tables could not be used due to dinner reservations. Awkward.

During the winter season the road noise (due to no natural sound barrier) can be a bit loud.

the food served at the restaurant is very poor due to bad preparation by the cooks.

Had I had more recreational time this hotel would not have been ideal due to the isolated location.

To which I replied “I think your customer service is absolutely disgusting” Things went from bad to worse, I tried to record the situation on my mobile phone

When I called the receptionist girl was blunt and as she didn't like what I had to say, put the phone down on me.

but IT took only à small Phone call to have IT fixed.

We arrived late, and the kitchen was closing, so we could not sit in the restaurant (fairly normal),

The restaurant food is very nice for a very decent price.

Comfortable, convenient, quiet, and ridiculous portions of good quality food in the restaurant plus a wide choice of local, Belgian and German beers.

You get back what you pay and even more, and the food very good as well.

If you like food this is the place to stay.

Once it was time for dinner I went to the restaurant, asking for vegetarian or vegan food.

but it is great to be able to sit and dine outside.

The hotel has two restaurants with a varied menu.

The restaurant and brasserie are probably the best of this place, food is good even not too much quantity.

A plumbing problem in the room and we were swiftly moven to the available room nextdoor and offered a drink for the inconvenience.

We particularly like the sympathetic restoration and the attention to detail.

The interior is very modern, very clean design.

Judging by the bathroom design, I think we got a room designed for a disabled guest.

We arrived late afternoon,got our keys for the rooms.It is small family style hotel, maybe 20-30 rooms,my room was on the 1st floor over the restaurant.

For those who have to stay some days in Goes it is a better option if you want to enjoy a friendly environment and good food.

A mix of modern and nicely restored old dutch houses.

The old center of Goes has a nice atmosphere with cafe's and terrassen.

The rooms design is very different from any other hotel i have seen in a good way.

This attention to detail pretty much sums up the care put in to the design of the Katoen and LED bulbs ensure this Hotel is as green as possible.

The staff is hip & happening dressed in G-Star type of style and they are representative and attentive.

The rooms look as fresh today as when we first arrived.

Rooms are fresh, white and on the ground floor with (very) high ceilings.

Breakfast had self service with many fresh things.

Breakfast did not disappoint, a nice selection of Continental options, fresh juice and the choice of Tea or coffee freshly made.

Coffee was good, as was the chocolate drink the daily juice.

One point: the fruit juices at the breakfast are rather, ehm, chemical.

Nothing special: one sort of nice bread ,cold and scrambled eggs you dont eat twice.I was very surprised to find bread directly out of a plastic bag in a container where you expect to find bacon or whatever warm dishes.Very good fruitsalade and juice and coffee

We had diner in the restaurant, which was fine.

The food is cooked to perfection with my favourite being the Tenderloin Steak (fillet) where the chef manages to give real flavour to what is a subtle dish.

Comfortable, not fussy rooms - Cotton as the name suggests is the overall theme and sparkling white bedding and comfy pillows especially are a joy - perfect sleep as location is quiet.

But there are also plenty of places to eat in the neighbourhood.

good coffee and food, nice service ,good view on the market,great after shopping.

For check in and out no issues and the room was very comfortable with an excellent shower and bed.
