but there wasn't any :-( As it's the very centre of Warsaw, beware of the views - you can probably have a lovely view over to the square, our room however had a view of A/C outdoor installation, which wasn't very nice.

- the thermostat in the room was either not working or very slow to cool.

however a couple of points: AC in room is extremely noisy and not efficient.

As mentioned by other guests you cannot regulate the room temperature, and the rooms here are very warm (aircon could not keep temperature down) - opening the windows at night is not an option due to loud traffic noise as the hotel in situated between two very busy roads.

Such a fantastic brand ruined by this hotel, broken spa they don't seem to even notify their customers about when checking in and a messed up central heating system with no AC, evening staff dosen't know how to fix it and  the only compensation offered was some points on a point card I don't have, an insult really and not compensation more like an opportunity to make more money from my business account.

On our second visit, the air-conditioner was making a dreadful noise.

For the nights leading up to the wedding I was staying in one of their suites, the aircon was broken in 35C heat, they did not offer to fix or offer us any compensation, so I did not sleep properly for 2 nights and me + 4 bridesmaids had to get ready on the hottest day in Warsaw with no aircon or ventilation - great way to start your wedding day!

One slight criticism the air con fan was a bit loud!

Heating in the room was problematic so they brough us a heater.When we checked out and were asked how was ower stay we told the agent they were upset and gave us a voucher that paid for the cab to the airport.

Deluxe rooms are nice size and generally pleasant BUT: the air condition was very noisy and not very effective, while the windows open over ventilation shafts, also very noisy.

- room not clean at 3pm,
- housekeeper entering the room twice because the external info is broken,
- ventilation, even at level 1 is a continuous flight in B747, not even a A380,
- no mini bar.

The air conditioning did not really work for the 3 nights we were there and that was a huge let down given we where travelling for 14 days and this was our 4th and last hotel, with the worst problem.

The  location is ideal, breakfast caters for everyone and staff couldn’t be more pleasant and  helpful.

The breakfast was really great - even if you eat clean and healthy.

The breakfast was top notch with an incredible selection for every pallet.

Check-in gave us a room already occupied (to mutual embarrassment of my wife and the occupier) and when we returned were given the same room on the next floor down - a downgrade when paying for the view.

Catastrophic restaurant: ppor menu, poor food quality (please, tell me the are of making of of chanterelles mushrooms absolutely bland, tasteless and odourless mess).

but not exceptional and the fruit selection remains quite poor.

Saddly nobody could fix it, it was most difficult to learn about the arranged alternative at the Hotel next door, information politics was more then poor.

Umm yeah, a little more description would be helpful - the poor restaurant staff must be sick of explaining everything 100 times a night.

however, it had very poor interior lighting.

In addition: The loyalty program Le Club Accor - from my very personal view - cannot compete with other hotel groups as the customer service is really poor (no or incomplete answers on requests) and they also force you to book directly at their website.

but the wine menu is a joke - poor wines.

The room service, cleanliness, food, location were worth of the price.I also loved the gym and the sauna where I could relax after the long day of meetings.

The pool and spa area is just amazing and has very relaxing atmosphere.

It has a fantastic restaurant, SPA area and a bar.

Loved the view, staff were amazing, location was very accessible and seconds away from anything you'd need in the city and we also used the Spa too which was very good and as expected.

but as I was on business and not in the hotel for much more than sleeping I didn't. The views in the front rooms must be fabulous, the toiletries are really good in big bottles rather than mini bottles, bathroom was suite and luxurious, minibar is reasonably priced and breakfast was delicious with a huge variety (I abstained from the vodka and chamy though!)

but friendly staff or the superior cleanliness or the fantastic breakfast as i think all these are dealt with in other reviews.

You can even have vodka or sparkling wine as part of your breakfast!

A very luxury hotel, very reach breakfast.

although the bacon (as is often the case with European hotels) was generally over-grilled and brittle.

We stayed 2 nights as part of a short rail tour of Germany and Poland and the hotel was selected by our tour company. It was a terrific choice and only a 5 minute or so walk from the central station(although add a bit more if crossing the road with awkward cases!)

My fault I left a bag of souvenirs, the items were only good to us since it was monogram for my family, We checked out and call the same day and write emails and they could not find the package.

I booked a superior room and was escorted to a room facing the park - it was so small that I couldn't find space to open my suitcase.

This was not the case – in fact It was just as bad.

I don't want a doorman to hail a taxi - I use the uber app and I prefer to take my case to my room myself, rather than twiddle my thumbs waiting for the luggage to be decanted ceremoniously into the room.

So in the case of this hotel, the rating is: 3 stars.

It's an even longer and more complicated drive to get your car out of the car park back in front of the hotel, and even when you get there any free spaces are likely to be occupied, so you end up lugging your luggage round the block, which isn't ideal if it's sunny, raining or if you have lots of it to carry.

It's in a great location, and my room had a great view of the Palace of Culture and Science, a dark reminder of the rein of Stalin.

The location of the hotel is not the best. It is close to some attractions (Palace of Culture and Science, Synagogue etc.)

On my previous visit I stayed in a corner executive room which was very spacious and was overlooking

Really lovely, historic hotel in a great location opposite the Palace of Culture and Science and great transport links.

The square with the impressive Palace of Culture and Science, where this hotel is situated, is litteraly the heart of the city.

We were on the 4th floor and had a great view of the famous Palace of Culture and Science which is just across the street.

It's easy to walk to the sites from here, 30 mins to castle square and old town, 45 mins to the zoo plus it's right in front of the palace of culture and science and a massive indoor shopping centre.

The hotel is near the Palace of Culture and Science and also a very large shopping mall.

Stayed for 3 nights over New Year with friends, we had the Deluxe Business rooms with views over to the Palace of Culture and Science, lovely large clean room, plenty storage space, in room safe, tea and coffee making and a really comfy bed.

Across the street is the railway station where there are a number of shops, including a supermarket, open most hours.

It is also right across from the Palace of Culture, the railway station and the bus stop for Modlin Airport coaches.

The Polonia is a hotel in the grand style with an ideal location, a couple of hundred metres from the main railway station and just across from the Soviet-style palace of culture.

but situated perfectly in the center of Warsaw, with short walks to tube, railway station or big shopping center (Zlote Tarasy).

We stayed here only one night en route between Krakow and the airport, because it is close to the railway station.

One of the reasons I chose the hotel was its proximity to the Central railway station, as I needed to travel to Lodz for a business meeting one day.

The hotel is also extremely well located, right by a main road/bus/tram intersection and only 5-6 minutes level walk from the central railway station.

The location is within walking distance of the commuter line which serves the airport - BTW, seniors travel for free on all Warsaw transit services - the subway, the trams and the Central railway station.

We choose this hotel for his central location near the central railway station.

The Hotel was in an excellent location being 10 minutes walk from the main railway station and only 20 minutes walk into the heart of the old town.

To have a very nice breakfast including variety choices combined with a very nice smile in rhe morning from Kasia and breakfast Team; this is paradise.

I would like to highlight the great breakfast and Mr. Krzysztof service and care for the clients.

They have great breakfast with so nice staff.

The hotel offers a covered parking.. and important.. one a very few hotels when you have no problems with having breakfast as they offer it on two floors!

We had a good sized room on the 11th floor and had quite a good view of the city from this height.

The view from the 31 st floor was amazing looking down onto the palace of science & culture and city skyline.

High floor rooms have very nice view of the city.

The city view is great here from the higher floors, so make sure you go over to the 31st floor to enjoy it.

We had a beautiful view from 28 level high, view for whole city center of Warsaw.

We are at the 28th floor, so you get to see a great view of the city.

Check-in was nice and easy and the room was comfortable and had great views of the city (had a 19th floor room).

He gave us a room with a nice view of the city and it’s not noisy at all as we slept very well.

It's worth popping up to the 31st floor (where gym area is) just to get views of the city.

On the floors it's usually quiet, the rooms (especially newly renovated) are very comfortable, there is also absolutely wonderful view to the city from the windows.

On 02.02.2019 I have booked 2 rooms under the name Vladislav Lebovich in Novotel Warszawa Centrum, the room types were -  Executive room with 1 king –size bed and city view, 

(Reservation reference and confirmation number -  HCRDDGWRX AND HCRDGVTV).

They have a fantasic gym with the citys best view on the upper floor.

The room was excellent and had a great view over the city - we got upgraded, so I cannot comment on the standard rooms.

It’s a twin room on the 7th floor with views over the city.

The location is very Central with a good view of the city.

Elegant and comfortable room with a nice view over the city.

2) I had purchased a late check out (5pm) when I booked so I went around the city in the morning and when I went back at 3pm my key card had been disabled.

We was tired that time so we didn’t check how much money had been charged from our card.

She installed the card and fixed my phone.

I also asked if they could provide me with a sort of bonus to be used as a credit for possible, future reservation.

I gave my company VAT ID at arrival and once checking out they claim they cannot do invoice of my room service at my company name. .

Received an e-mail on morning of departure confirming this along with an invoice indicating there was no balance to pay.

When I get the invoice they charged about 150 euros on my account.

I thought the accepted standard these days is a few USB outlets throughout the room, or at least a power outlet for your phone to charge during the night.

Just when we thought leaving would resolve all of those problems, we got charged for TWO nights.
