The bathroom needs a more powerful exhaust fan!

Do not expect a clean room, we had black goop falling from the fan every time it was turned off.

- The A/C rattled like two squirrels playing ping pong the whole time.

The toilet over flowed twice and the air conditioner rattled almost constantly.

The rooms air conditioning doesn’t get the full room cool, at least not to us.

Not a fan of short toilets and soap dispensers in the bathroom and bathtub.

Only problem was that with 2 queen beds, the one near the window was immediately next to the air conditioner. .

Our only concern was the placement of the king bed too close to the window ventilation.

We are not fans of the typical hotel breakfast,

Fortunately, the vehicular noise was blocked out by the racket from the air conditioner.

Refrigerator uncleaned, air conditioning system ventilation was blowing old mildew, rugs stunk.

but the A/C was so next to the bed that every time it turned on it woke us up.

But, the dehumidifier took up a large amount of floor space, was very noisy, and had a drain hose "snaking" along the walls to the area where the PTAC unit was at.

The only downfall was a urine type smell coming sometimes from the air conditioner.

The air conditioner had a continuous fan mode which both created white noise and minimized any disturbances from air conditioner cycling.

Bed extremely comfy, fell asleep almost immediately

Ac was quite noisy

The queen bed close to the window is close to the HVAC unit and makes it hard to get into the bed by the wall.

It did not receive higher stars from me as it did not have an indoor pool, nor balcony nor a modern cooling system ( I thought the a/c worked well just noisy).

If you want a good breakfast, coffee/tea and cookies in the evening, comfortable beds, spacious rooms this is the place for you.

Large sitting area as well and two pretty comfortable beds.

The bed was comfortable and the AC kept us nice and cool.

Beautiful decor, spacious and well furnished suites, comfortable pillows and beds, comfortable and low noise air conditioning, clean drapes, bench for suit cases, wet bar and small refrigerator, vanity across from closet.

The breakfast is good and plenty, they changed everyday, the room is big and clean, included microwave and a mini fridge, comfy beds and clean lines and towels, and the staff did everything to make us feel welcome, we did early check in and breakfast.

Nice, large suites, comfy beds,good coffee,  hot/cold breakfast.

The room was large with a sitting room and comfortable bed!

Our room was extremely clean, bathroom had excellent lighting, towels were huge and soft, bed was very comfortable, check-in was smooth and quick by a friendly and efficient associate.

I have stayed at this hotel a few times and every time it has been great it has great staff that are very helpful, hotel and rooms are clean, breakfast is the best around.

The hotel itself is one of the cleanest we’ve ever seen, our room was also very clean.

We stayed 5 days and no one came to clean the room; we ran out of toilet paper and had to ask the front desk for a roll; there was no soap in the dispenser so we bought our own; the shampoo (again in a dispenser on the wall) was nearly empty and smelled like Pine-sol so went out and bought our own.

Normally there’s SOMETHING that bothers me, whether it’s a smell, damp carpet, a dirty corner in the bathroom etc.

The room had a few spiders when we got to it and had a musty smell,

drains and shut off not working well disappointen when , upon check we reporte the problem and were first told it was not  problem,  had to etail the problem more before acceptance.

Bugs in the sink and tub every morning as well as long black hairs in the tub first time I used it; outlet in bathroom burned out my hairdryer; didn’t get my room cleaned one day and the cleaning crew lied about what time I took the do not disturb sign off the door.

Hampton was twice the price and run down molded out room with smelly water.

We even were in one of the same rooms as last year completely different, run down, chairs and tables almost breaking, wobbly, furniture old, no soap or shampoo in the bathroom at all, you could see dust, the two rooms we were in smelled musty.

However there was a gas smell outside our room on the second floor.

The room was really big only downside bathroom area kind of small and the hallways had a little bit of an odor

Such a better choice than the Hol Inn Express which is so damp and run down.

He was rude and nasty and I have NEVER been spoken to so unkindly.

Not that awful chlorine stench of the pools in most places I travel.

We were put on a floor with non-smoking and there was absolutely no smell.

Kudos, Best Western Plus and all the staff of this hotel!

Staff were very pleasant and there was always coffee in the lobby and sometimes pastries.

The gentleman who checked me in was very helpful and everyone we encountered was beyond helpful.

Staff is excellent - Catia & Anna at the front desk and Teri & Gary, the breakfast attendants were great -very  helpful and made the stay a pleasant one.

Awesome Hotel, Awesome Staff, All I can say is this is another Awesome BW Property, Very clean despite being in the path of Hurricane Ian, There were a couple of signs the property had some damage,

Staff were helpful, professional, and welcoming, I appreciated that.

Everyone there treated it (conducted thenselves) with common courtesy / manners, as they should -something you miss and appreciate when you have to stay at other "not-so-quiet" places.

I was floored by how kind everyone was at the desk and staff.

The staff went out of their way to make sure that my stay was perfect.

Hotel right off the interstate 10-15 minutes from Venice beach.

Great hotel, with a good location, near McDonald’s, Publix and gas stations, quiet area, near the highway with not noise, 10 minutes away in car to Venice beach, and 30 min to siesta key, to me was a good location to visit the other beaches nearby like Ana Maria Island, Coquina and Siesta.

The hotel is reasonably well located, just a short drive from historic Venice Beach and has all the facilities you should need.

Also visited Venice beach near here for sharks teeth.

It was convient to many places, restaurants, highways and Venice Beach!

Close to all the shops and beaches in Venice Beach.

The hotel was only 15 minutes from Venice Beach.

In particular the lobby reception staff were superb and very helpful, specifically they showed us how to get to the Venice beach to collect shark teeth fossils, lent us the Florida 'snow shovels' to collect the shark teeth along with 4 beach towels and allowed a later check out all at no extra cost.

Stayed here for 5 days and very good hotel to stay with family, close to I-75 and 15 minutes away from Venice beach.

It's about a 10 minute drive to Venice Beach and about 25 minutes to Siesta Key.

Beautiful hotel right off of I-75 just outside all of the hustle and bustle of the Venice Beach area.

Venice is a lovely place and we timed our stop to browse in a couple of shops, enjoy appetizers and a drink at an outdoor cafe, and then a hurried walk to Venice Beach for sunset.

Location is approximatley 10 to 15 minutes to Venice beach area,

5 minute drive to Venice Beach, free breakfast was great.

We arrived two hours early and it was no problem to the friendly staff who checked us in early and lent us sand shovels to go shark tooth hunting on Venice beach.

Was within 3miles from Venice beach and downtown.

Very convenient to Venice Beach and downtown area.

Perfect for our trip to Venice beach in search of sharks teeth.

Also charging $250 plus tax for a room I can get online for 160!!!!! !

And then charged for use of a safe when it was not used.

I left after the first night and was still charged for  a second night.

First, we get charged a pet fee for our dog and then get told the dog isn't supposed to be on the bed.

And would you believe it, on our bill we were charged $1.14 for each night for the use of the safe.

I FINALLY was able to get one card to work.

In my opinion, it is wrong to add that charge to a bill.

Double charged us for the room n then kicked us out for family stopping by was not refunded money

Both times it was another guest's charges erroneously posted to my room.

but due inability to meet the 24-hour cancellation fee, were charged for three nights.

We get home to find an additional $100 fee on our credit card.

how much room do i have here first off they overcharged us.

there's an agreed upon rate and you go to check out and there's a little extra charge. .

Issue # 3 - $1 a day charge for the safe in the room.

Was charged for plastic silverware when dinner from a local restaurant failed to include in my order.

but due to an error on my part one of the rooms stayed in their reservation system and I was charged one night's stay.

and the topper of this my credit card was charged for days I didn't stay there and your employee Lisa was rude and nasty to deal with.

We didn't like our room being next to the elevator and were upgraded to a business room at no extra charge.

Awesome friendly staff priceline messed  up my booking and manager made everything right and they made sure you had what you wanted as soon as you asked for anything would definitely stay again if ever in the area

The front desk staff were friendly and helpful!

We were greeted by an extremely friendly & helpful front counter agent, who pointed out the amenities, including the "Ships Store", which came in handy when I wanted ice cream in the evening.

The staff is friendly and courteous and ver helpful.

The pool is crystal clear set among trees hanging with Spanish moss.

Place is gross as soon as we got on the room we immediately saw cockroaches.

The parking lot is fill of containers, the A/C is not real effective, the breakfast bar is substandard, and everyone smokes outside their rooms.

The hotel is an abomination and I want a refund for the whole disgusting stay.

We could not walk anywhere without going through a cloud of cigarette smoke.

I had to leave and sleep in my car because it was that nasty.

I found Room 111 to be filthy in the bathroom (including floors, tub, the mini fridge, the microwave--the carpet was stained and filthy).

In the parking lot there is a picnic table and several people were smoking, drinking, and yelling till late at night outside my room.

I go to use the bathroom and to my dismay, see mold and mildew on the walls, and smell a pungent odor coming from the bathtub.

Oh yeah, and I can't forget the dried vomit all over the sidewalk.

but one night it got cold and we turned on the heaters which stunk like burning dust particles.

They need to move any smoking areas away from the buildings.

While the location was good, the carpet in the room left a residue on my feet which transferred to the white washcloth which I used to clean up before bed.

Rooms are livable if it wasn’t for the smell.

The front desk staff was thoughtful and very accommodating.

After going through the horrors of moving out my house,it was a pleasure to go to this hotel.The room smelled very good when I got there,and there was plenty of room for my cat.All of the staff were very polite and helpful.Christine,Debbie,Michelle and Susie especially showed how the hotel business should be run.I would recommend a stay here for any traveler.

I was greeted cordially by Christine, who continued to assist me with great patience, expertise, and warmth throughout my stay.

The hotel is vintage and the staff is very nice.

Desk area had bullet proof glass enclosure, not a great feeling for being in a nice neighborhood.

As for the hotel, nice rooms and there is an elevator for us old folks,

Our room door was rusty in spots, the shower ledge was broken and caulked many times, the mirror was dirty and the faucet appeared to not be wiped down.

You have to enter & exit the shower in the space next to the toilet which is dangerous.

We literally were handed bath mats at ten o'clock at night because there were no towels.

but it was difficult and annoying to get garbage bags, toliet paper, towels, shampoo refilled, etc.

The bathroom had some mildew in the shower and general cleaning could have been better in the room.

On our visit we saw maintenance issues that were not addressed such as an unheated pool, spackling on walls that is not blended in, paint drips on touch-ups, and dusty exhaust fans in the bathroom.

The toilet had paint speckled all over it; as did the mini-frig.

The coating on the bathroom shower and floor of the shower has word away so that it looks dirty.

My wife was having a hard time with the shower control as we could not get anything

Only complaint was the bathroom wasn’t as clean as it should be as there was a dirty towel I noticed under the vanity.

The toilet wouldn't flush and one of the beds squeaked so loudly you could sleep.

It smelled so heavily of paint in the bathroom.

although we did receive bed servicing the first night, the empty tissue box was not replaced and neither were the toiletries.
