There's escalator up and down at exit 3, don't need to worry about carrying your luggage up the stairs.

Also,  There is only 1 elevator in the building and it is a very small lift.

The elevator is so small so please spare time if you are in hurry to go down to lobby.

It was kind of hoarded by housekeeping staff , kind of time consuming waiting for that 1 lift.

but the lift is abit pathetic sorry to say that.

2)The lift is a little tiny and the wait can be a while when crowded

Overall, we stayed 5 nights and it was a good base to explore other parts of Taipei.

Perhaps the only minus point I can think of is that the soundproofing between rooms is not very good as we can hear people talking loudly in their rooms (next to the lift) when we were waiting for the lift, and you can expect to be very aware of the lift usage if you happen to be staying in the rooms near the lift.

Do note that there is only one lift serving the hotel guests so there might be a bit of a wait for the lift during peak periods.

The only cons were the noise level between rooms caused by the thin walls and the single (small-size) operating lift to service the whole hotel,

The only down side would be single elevator at the premise that can be a bit troublesome if you are accessing it during the busy time (close to noon or 3pm).

the only con is there is only 1 lift and is small.

Is a pity that this hotel doesn't serve breakfast and the lift is a little small.

4) Very comprehensive list of TV channels

Cons -
1) No windows or clocks in the rooms so you have no idea what time of the day it is
2) Singular lift is rather cramp

They never fail to greet us whenever we exit the lift or enter the lobby.

Only one lift hence it might be abit crowded and you might need to wait for the lift during peak hours.

Do be forewarned that the elevator of this hotel is of fun sized.

There are signs in the hallway asking guests to keep their voices down and it must have worked because we heard no noise.

The other aspect that we didn't like is the sound proof is weak that we can hear loads of noises from outside or the rooms next to us or above us.

The only thing is that the traffic from the road can actually be heard in the morning.

Would be perfect if soundproofing is better.

Cons: I agree with other guests that the sound proofing could be better in the rooms.

The room is a bit loud when people are in the hallway, other than that it was quiet.

It will be perfect if the soundproof of the rooms is better. :)

And the housekeepers are very loud cleaning rooms next doors, can hear banging now & then, quite annoying.

When the room beside mine was noisy at night due to kids talking loudly, the staff took the initiative to offer a change of rooms.

There was not much traffic noise at night despite us staying on the 2nd Level.

Could hear other conversations in hall ways & rooms.

The only thing which was a bit of a let down is the noise insulation between rooms which I think can be improved as we can sometimes hear conversation or knocking sound coming from neighbouring rooms.

Nonetheless, this was a minor issue as we slept well during our stay and was never woken up by the noise outside.

Only thing to improve is the sound proofing between the corridors and the room.

The location was perfect; close to the MRT, lots of breakfast eateries and restaurants, convenience stores and shops.

I stayed over New Year period, they gave me 2 cup of noodles after returning from countdown.

The staff realised we were celebrating a birthday and brought cake after we returned from dinner, and a card!

Stayed over New Year period and was surprised that they actually hang 2 cup noodles outside every guest room with the thoughts that we may get hungry & tired after coming back from the countdown party.

Family Mart as well as the beauty stores were also just in front of our hotel.

Close to Ximen MRT (opposite exit 3) and right across the road from a department store with a food court and Jason's supermarket in the basement.

Location is absolutely perfect - a stone’s throw from the hustling and bustling Ximending shopping and eating with a mall just opposite with a basement supermarket and Ximending train station exit 3 just opposite the hotel.

The hotel also has common area where you can use internet, warm up your food and make coffee.

The common area is a good place for relaxing, and having meals.

beside the hotel is a nice local eatery and opposite is XMD.

McD is available at the basement of the shopping mall opposite the hotel during mall hours.

Good service, clean rooms and convenient location.

Rooms were clean and comfy with nice artful decor.

Also to note that the rooms we stayed at were very quiet.

We enjoyed the bright and clean lounge area in the basement - after many a long lonely wait for my washing to be done in dingy laundry rooms, this is such a nice bonus to have a nice area with a computer and free coffee, milk tea, hot chocolate and snacks to wait in.

We chose the rooms with the window and it was not noisy at night.

The stay was comfortable too with spacious rooms and toilets, common lobby for resting and doing of laundry, and free flow snacks/beverages for a perk-me-up.

Snacks in the rooms are replenished daily as well.

We booked 2 rooms and both rooms were very nice and very clean.

But I will come back to stay again when I go Taipei and try other rooms!

I would like to recommend traveller to stay at this hotel for their good service, spotless clean room and self-service portable expresso, americano coffee, hot chocolate drink and snacks provided for free.

Rooms are decorated with different themes and hotel staff ensures the room is clean everytime.

The shower room is very clean, shampoo and shower gel smells good, and the toilet bowl is upgraded to auto warm and flush toilet with very strong flushing system now, unlike the first time when I stay there and too get used to Singapore’s strong toilet flushing system, and almost choke their toilet.

My family was very happy with how clean our room and bathroom was.

As mentioned the room was large and clean, with a really great shower and a tiny Japanese-style bathtub I tried out.

even though i think i could save more money eating outside, food was good,  room was super clean and very spacious room.

The rooms are spacious, and I especially enjoyed the rooftop garden and the gym on the top floor of the hotel!

The hotel room is clean and comfy (good size).

Each super single bed was very comfortable and the room was clean.

The room was clean and we got upgraded to a larger room (1 single bed & 1queen size bed).

Rooms were clean and the Japanese bidet system in the toilet was a comfort to have.

Important note: Our room's toilet doesn't have a bidet which is a bummer.

* Shower flooded the bathroom, need I say more ?

Too disappointed for the bathroom and the design was not pratical and unhumanlization. ..

The toilet bowl has auto washing/cleaning seat.

toilets are ok, some rooms have basin build outside of the toilet in the room itself, making it quite convenient for big families that needs to utilise the toilet and wash basin at same time.

I would suggest take a bigger room if possible as the sink was in the room instead of bathroom and it was next to the coffee/tea making facilities.

The water leaked out from the shower room which hotel definitely needs to look into it.

We had to wipe the floor dry after every bath.

Amenities provided were about at door when we checked in due to the HEAVY and high occupancy.

You can hear the water running down the pipes when people having showers, people from upper floor, tracffic outside the street.

The carpets look old and the toilets in the rooms are already having stains on the walls and tiles.

Amenities are ok. 

Cleanliness — unfortunately they don’t clean out your room that well.. as this is a busy hotel I think the cleaning staff are not as monitored as closely as they should be.

but already feeling the dread when I booked for a family room and was told that they can only provide 2 bath towels for the accommodation when I am a family of 4 so they expect us to share bath towels?

but the shower head was about 2" from my head!

We also never did figure out how to lock the sliding toilet door, maybe you will have more luck!

It seems not all rooms have the same facility like bidet.

At many times we need to wait rather Long for the elevator to arrive.

Heard loud knockings on the door in the middle of the night.A screaming noise can also be heard.Breakfast without much selections.The card for using to reserve table not useful while some inconsiderate guest didn't even bother about the card.Waiting at the lift lobby usually takes a long time and usually crowded.

I can say that the room is very small and we were placed in the 17th floor, elevator can only reach 16th to we have to climb the stairs going to 17th floor.

Only 3 lifts working and so many hotel guests using, very long wait for the lifts, especially when checking out.

My stay only have 3 lift out of 6 working, so the wait is long as im staying on the 6 floor, suggest to take up then come down.

but too many hotel guests to share four elevators.

There is only 3 lifts in the hotel so the wait is very long and the lobby lift area is always crowded and need to queue for the lift.

You also need a long wait for the lifts during "peak hours".

lifts: need to wait up to 15mins for the lift and almost everytime the lift is full.

the whole hotel is only serviced by 3 lifts, so the wait for the lift is long and most of the time can't in especially during peak hours.

The elevators can be crazy busy at times.

For a hotel of this size, which is popular with organised groups, to try and cope with just 3 lifts meant that you could wait for up to ten minutes, and possibly longer at busy times.

There is only 3 lifts which is not enough to cater to the guest.

I was paranoid about the elevators after reading about wait times

Our room is nearer to the elevators leading to restaurant and the lift landing at level 2 is unfurnished and has a foul smell.

but as easy as taking the MRT to Ximen and using Exit 5 seemed to be - Exit 5 has no lift or Escalator, so you need to use some other exit and cross streets and find your way if you're travalling with baggage.

Lady pointed us towards another empty area with a ramp where the lifts can be found.

Can hear noises because they were renovating.

A lot of noise in the hallway from inconsiderate guests too.

There were no seats available, taken by hundreds of people, it was noisy and the quality of the food was sub-par.

Hotel is currently under renovation so will have some noise in the day.

but the only complain is the poor noise insulation in the room.

The walls were maybe too thin as each morning I was woken up to people chatting in the hallway before my alarm clock.

The room was next to the lift so was abit noisy during the night.

but this only happened on one night and the noise is not enough to keep you awake 

Negatives 
Found staff not so friendly and they couldn’t even tell us how much the buffet costs

Only issue is the room tend to have noise coming from the sewage during the night.

Walls (or door) are not sound proof as well because we can always hear vacuum sound or people running up and down.
