The breakfast was amazing, and the hotel also has a parking, which allows you to easily explore the city without having to move your car.

I particularly want to thank the server from breakfast restaurant , can not remember his name, who went above and beyond every single morning and was very attentive to us .

I spent 9 hours in the car coming from Riga via the secret soviet bunker at Ligatne, and I was really looking forward to collapsing into one of the comfy chairs with a beer when I got there.

As we arrived , the crib was already set up in our room and the staff was aware of our preferences.

The hotel itself is lovely, rooms and bar areas well furnished and comfortable.

Our two single rooms were good sizes with very spacious bathrooms.

We really enjoyed breakfast in the character-filled dining room.

but that's the fun of the place with every room an author's name not a number.

The room we had was also very high and it was quite large and the interior was awesome.

We loved the hotel, the position to Old Town, the staff eg Vitalia made the breakfast experience "great" and Aidus, on reception, helped us greatly too with room choice.

Each room is well proportioned tidy and clean.

And everything else about the rooms was fine.

The rooms are small;  the beds are not comfortable;  the breakfast is just ok at best.

but the room we had was small and the bedding looked tired.

On the negative side, the rooms are small and a bit run down.

However it turns out that I got a tiny room (Dostoevsky).

Room are small and some rooms do not have access to elevator.

The room was so small that I took everything off a table and desk and either put it on the windowsill or in the closet.

On the down side, my room was quite small, even for a single.

The room was also small and pretty noisy and that took away from the comfort.

The only let downs of this hotel is the room is rather small and cramped and one can hear everything on the corridor.

Staff were very helpful - good laundry service and as my flight was 6am they would do a box breakfast that is very rare in hotels.

Although in the center, there was no noise, an eagle characteristic of the center.

We measured the noise, at some points it would reach 50 Db.

I am sensitive to noise so I hear these things right away and wake up.

Beware the rooms at the back of the hotel opposite a noisy late night bar.

Windows are super old so you can hear everything what's going on outside, from cars passing by to people talking.

but for a noisy party on the Saturday night which was too loud late at night.

At night we can hear the noise from outside the hotel, even on 4th floor.

Our room faced the street and there was quite a lot of traffic and party noise from the street.

though from room 204 you could hear noise from reception.

You could hear coughing and conversations from other rooms, as well as the sounds from the street.

Been here already a lot of times and allways was really ok. Hotel is very close to city centre and the swimming pool amd sauna gives a plus in front another places.

You should add chairs around the pool and warm the water.

The reasons the rating is 3 stars is that the rooms are quite old and outdated, the air conditioning barely worked, the water pressure is not very good, and the breakfast is plentiful

Water in swimmingpool was very cold 25 degree it was to cold for children .

Two free bottles of water at no charge were included for the first day.

She explained that bottled water was only free the first day.

I was given a room on the 5th floor in the very end of the hall, with just roof windows, so I did not have a street view, plus to let some air in, I had to step on a chair to open and then close the window.

I guess air conditioning hasn't made its way to Lithuania we had to sleep with the windows open which was bad because there was an open air bar just below or room.

It was hard to sleep well, and if we opened the window to let the night air in, there was an outdoor terrace/bar going full blast.

Traffic from the street is also easily heard with window closed.

It looked like it was decorated in beige and 11 nuances of brown by someone's blind cousin sometime in the 70's.

although set to 18 deg C. Fortunately we could open the windows to let in some cooler air at night otherwise it would have been too warm and stuffy to sleep.

Negative points: general decor could be upgraded, could do with more electricity sockets in the room, my room was noisy when the window was open.

Not very convenient to sleep because of rather loud road sounds from outside of windows .

Few cars passed at night so there wouldn't be much noise if the windows were open.

And also recommended to close the windows during the night because streets are quite noisy.

The sink in the bathroom had a crack, the curtain could be changed, there was only 1 shower cap, instead of 2, there was only 1 bottle of shower gel, the 2d was just the body lotion.

When it was time for bed, the bathroom light did not go off.

Some constructive feedback to make the stay even more memorable  - the motion sensing bathroom light can be annoying in the middle of the night since it takes about 3 minutes to switch-off, the breakfast selection could be improved and the lobby bar seemed reluctant to serve and asked for a significant additional charge for room service, since it’s apparently being run by a different company.

The bathroom lights were controlled by a motion detector only.

One minor negative, and it might be our fault, and that was there was no bathroom light switch.

So if one of you get up to the bath room at night the other one wakes up because of the strong light from the bath room.

although we saw some reviews which said this was tricky we found it fine and the sensor light in bathroom didn't bother us at all.

There was also no control over the lighting in the washroom which felt like a room ment for surgery.

Each room has a different design and the hotel was excellent in ensuring my request for room 302 (the Teddy Bear room) was met - a call to the me from reception 5 minutes from entering the room to ensure it was to my wife and I liking and the offer of another if it was not, says a great deal of the thoughtfulness.

Went on a business trip over to Vilnius in July, I was quite surprised with a unique design of this hotel, really nice interior and the rooms have really  nice touch to them.
