Only comments are if you like a big pool and balcony this hotel may not be for you,

The only downside was the small pool area and the fact there is no balcony.

However after this stay I wouldn’t book anywhere without a balcony again.

Firstly, you probably know before booking that there are no balconies

No rooms have balcony’s which is a shame and hard to dry wet things.

We struggled with a relaxing area during the day and between evening meal and entertainment time, as there are no balcony’s and the seating area is a passage way outside of the hotel and in need of warm coats to be able to sit there.

Remember this hotel has NO BALCONIES in any room so DO NOT EXPECT A BALCONY.

but it was just the right size for the size of the hotel, the pool
Is cold but on a hot day it was really nice and refreshing as when you got out the pool you was back at a normal temperature.

but not overly cold and there is a kettle and coffee and tea in the room which you may need as the bar closes early

The cocktails (thumbs down) all pre made in bottles so basically syrups but there is other spirits available.

There is no music and it’s cold in the non summer months.

but in a hidden, shaded area and cold to sit by.

Proper seafood would selection would also be good cold and hot.

but we knew this ,food veey good roof top bar wow stunning view and carole was lovely ,Also shout out to lady in restaurant think she was manager lovely jubley she would say 😀 The only down fall is there isn't anywhere to sit except few tables under cover which was like a wind tunnel it was so cold there at night as the bar downstairs didn't open till 9.30 which is veey late I would return but maybe not late on due to not having warm place to sit at night

We knew the pool would be too cold at this time of year,

Issues everyday with the air conditioning not working and fridge getting refilled with cold drinks.

We were then offered a very welcome glass of cold cava.

There is no inside bar space when it’s cold.

went there last year for my 65 th in January being this hotel before it really changed nothen like it was food cold and very poor more food for anyone

Again, same as last visit, check-out was impersonal and quite a cold experience.

but the weather was mixed and too cold to be out side, even though there was heaters.

There is a lack of comfortable seating or a real lounge area as when we were there it was cold at nights  and sitting at the tables at the entrance was like being in a wind tunnel.

As on our previous visits the food is very hit or miss, far to often the food was bordering on warm to cold, it’s a poor show when you have to watch for the chef to come out of the kitchen with hot food to ensure you got something hot to eat.

Ended up eating out every day although had booked all inclusive as food cold / Luke warm in the hotel and I found the restaurant like a school canteen with food incredibly boring and repetitive

No nice seating areas in evening and cold outside.

but feel that people need to be made aware of the situation at this hotel currently.we were told of a virus sweeping the country but at no point were we advised to stay in our rooms to stop the spread if the problem was a virus and not the cold food being served.A really disappointing first visit to Benidorm!

Excellent room  , great sea views  , it’s situated literally a stone ‘s throw from the beach ,service and food excellent good choice for all  really recommend it staff are very friendly and attentive not to far to Benidorm old town plenty of bars or restaurants all around.

This was my first time in 20yrs going away,& my first time going to Benidorm.We had a brilliant time, & if we go again I would definitely come back to this hotel .the staff were friendly & the hotel was lovely.

Check in was great and really friendly and they put Mum in the room next to us.

All the staff are welcoming and friendly and cannot do enough for you.

We spent last week at the Villa del Mar and overall it was a very positive experience.The welcome received from  staff was first class and the prosecco and chocolates and complimentary drinks in fridge were a lovely touch.The reception staff and restaurant and bar staff were always very friendly and extremely helpful.The beach front location was one of the best features.The food was  excellent with plenty of variety.

The pool is minute with only a few beds( not single) and no shade, and the bar has no seating area and not very friendly staff , so as a result , most people have to go on the beach across the road and pay for loungers and umbrellas .

Staff are fabulous, friendly and work super hard all day long.

From amazingly friendly staff the minute we walked through the door, offering us some bubbly as we were checking in, to the beautiful sea view rooms that were spotless!

Monica the girl who represents the animacion is very personable and friendly my daughter had a really fun time at the mini disco .

We have just returned from a week-long stay at this hotel and I have to say that the staff are extremely friendly and efficient, I cannot praise them enough.

Hotel clean and most staff friendly enough

We found all of the staff extremely friendly and very helpful, always willing to give assistance when needed.

Staff were excellent and friendly, it was clean food was great couldn't ask for a better time and the kids enjoyed it wanted to stay longer as they had a really great time as well.

This hotel is something else fantastic staff friendly and helpful,rooms are quite spacious clean we had a sea view spectacular,food great something for everyone excellent choices,rooftop bar offers a great bar with premium drinks and again spectacular views pool area was a little disappointing doesn’t go with the hotel if that makes sense all in all this hotel is well worth a stay.

The rooftop bar with sun loungers on level 9 has amazing views and the lady who is serving at the bar there is so helpful and friendly as are the rest of the hotel stafd they can't do enough for you.

I've been few times to this hotel went end Nov for week had sea view room was lovely it's also near everything met some nice people really enjoyed the hotel food was nice and staff were lovely would always book a, sea view

There were  comfy sofas by the lifts / reception

Staff were lovely and very helpful and pointed us in the right direction when we needed to ask anything.

Staff were all happy and helpful and in our opinion the best Hotel in Benidorm !

but it is how they are dealt with that matters and honestly they could not have been handled better.

Great place.. great location.. great food and drinks.. great staff.. what else can I say.. only downside was no balcony to relax on at night just before bed.. only a few hundred yards to all bars restaurants.. great beach just yards away

but always managed a smile and a Hola and went about their business very efficiently.

Been at this hotel now 4 times just love it great food roof terrace pools always been made welcome by staff  rooms cleaned.

The staff and the hotel pride them selfs on there appearance and cleanliness and Alin kn was a bloody fabulous hotel in a fabulous location

although the food is lovely and staff very efficient, we couldn’t wait to get out.

Also one morning when I went round to pool rea there was broken glass all over the floor

The room is very tired with lots of broken items.

when we checked in we noticed one of the beds was broken, I reported it to reception and the whole bed was replaced in under 15 minutes 👍
 Reception were great and even printed our boarding passes for us.

Two that were there were both broken and we were told not to undo them.

however needs a facelift, shabby scruffy armchair in the room, small TV which had to have audio assistance taken off every time it was switched on (42" TVs are in the hotel), broken light fitting, dated curtains and bedspreads.

Bathroom not clean with dirty and broken tiles.

This is not the hotel we used previously, deteriorated significantly.Room needed maintenance, broken drawer and heating control, mould in shower.Food terrible, cold or warm, poor choice, dried curled up sandwiches at dinner??

Some of the sun beds were broken and that’s been said before on here.

no crisps only drinks.pool areas poor tiles broken or cracked Jacuzzi not working and also paper peeling from our walls.

After 9.30am it was a struggle some mornings to find two sunbeds and two that weren't broken and of course there were beds reserved that nobody had sat in for hours and didn't use them until late afternoon.

but with the bars opposite having great entertainment on it wasn't really a problem .The only faults we found was the pool area there are a lot of broken sunbeds and even though there is a sign CLEARLY marked about reserving sunbeds people still insisted on reserving them even though the warning states that towels will be remove ,We never witnessed this and sunbeds left for hours with towels on them ,Come on management Sort this out .

The poolside did let it down slightly there was a good few sunbeds with missing head restraints and a couple of broken frames, sunshine needs umbrellas and although the ones in the complex were oversized ones,  there   was only 10 umbrellas for 150 beds, we personally like to sample our surroundings and don't rely on the all inclusive package,

They were mostly broken so were only part effective.

Also bathing towels were extra where as they have always been supplied free of charge with a small returnable deposit, not enough sunloungers and most were broken , breakfast and lunch were ok could always find something to eat ,however we ate out in the evening so cant comment on the evening meal .Pool bar was supposed to be open from 10am

Lots if not most of the Sun beds are broken or so old they are very uncomfortable to lay on, they need to be updated/upgraded not expected in a supposedly 4 star hotel!

but unfortunately ours was faulty and kept going boiling hot and freezing cold.

I went over to the cold counter and it’s apparently both hot and cold counter ,

Now the first thing I went to use was the shower which went from hot to cold.. this was unbearable to say the least as I had to jump out as the heat of the water was burning my skin, as to say we then got onto using every other facility available

All food is cold, so has to be warmed in microwave, so be prepared to queue to heat your food.

however one negative this time the other food that should of been hot was always cold, breakfast,lunch,tea all cold which is totally unacceptable,, first negative I've had in all the stays we've had here ,but as stated above all other aspects of this hotel fantastic

The lounge/bar and the restaurant area was so cold at times that lots of people were keeping there coats on.

but cold most of the time , my wife chose a pizza and asked the chef to put it in the oven to heat it up , only to be told use the micro , now the place not to put a pizza or a pie is the micro makes it hot but soft and floppy and yuk , we ended up eating at the Indian  across the road 3 times and the Italian once ,

It was so cold it was like an ice bath, no one who tried could get past their ankle, so 22c and sunny and you can’t use the pool unless you’re a penguin.

but could do with being hotter, before you got back to your table after waiting for eggs or bacon etc,or anything cooked 🍳 your meal was cold,I much preferred the older dining room.

but the food is so cold on buffet areas and supplied with just 1 knife and fork at dinner,not good if u choose 2 courses.The breakfast is cold and the orange juice is cordial,was told only fresh juice with all inclusive  only,get the food right and it would be great,my opinion is just stay for room only basis

As I sat down to eat it, I was nearly sick as it was stone cold as if she had just got it out the fridge.

although good, could do with being kept hot as it was sometimes a bit on the cold side.

We found it very convenient for the Benidorm Palace dinner show and the staff were most friendly.

Most staff friendly, some straight laced faced, no matter how nice we were.

My wife and i travelled to this hotel on 10th july 2023 for a week and we found it to be a lovely friendly hotel very helpul staff clean modern rooms great food and i have to mention the pool entertainment team Sara  Joan and Joni were fantastic

The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and are also very grateful when we attempt Spanish phrases.

Food selection was very poor and this continued at breakfast.

Outstanding value for money 

Location a gentle 10 minutes walk to the beach 

Only minor negative was pool side music too loud played through poor quality speakers.

The entertainment on an evening is poor .

Not all inclusive have to pay for most things
Drink selection poor they want you to upgrade to ultra all inclusive.

Where do I begin,,,,,, I have never been to a hotel where you have to go to a cooking station for a piece of bacon or a real sausage🤷‍♀️the whole food on offer was of very poor quality and again very business like atmosphere, thank goodness we didn’t pay for all inclusive,,,,
Sinatras bar across the road offer a fantastic breakfast….

The poor lady at the pool bar working so hard how can they expect her to serve so many people.

Lunchtime offerings were extremely poor, some limp burgers, bacon (well more like fried ham), left over from breakfast and some cold meat/cheese, no salad.

Towels were poor quality for 4*hotel very thin and holes in them.

Just stopped here for the first time since it went all inclusive which was many years ago we never returned until this year only to find the food is not what it use to be poor choices and  not hot enough I have visited Benidorm over 70 times and this hotel was the best food in town including the restaurants

This February, the Levante club were definetely short staffed in the restaurant on most nights,the poor waitress ( working tirelessly) took at least 25 minutes to offer a drink.

Dickens Bar: Entertainment poor, no consistency of drinks between Lobby bar and Dickens Bar, Dickens Bar was better, Layout of chairs awkward, 1 chair was stained with old drink.

Downstairs SERVING DRINKS leaving poor overworked Staff to get on with serving meals and  clearing tables There was more  staff downstairs in bar than required especially meal times.Then there was  Breakfast Why not be like some other hotels have the eggs fried and ready in buffet Then the Charming Young man doing the bacon would be a left to just get on with cooking .LESS QUEING .Otherwise we enjoyed our stay and met some nice people .

My only negative is the wifi is average to poor.

But after three visits to this hotel in Benidorm because of a great location and adults only hotel i cannot see another visit because of its poor standards.

Not enough seating outside when the sun was shining and not enough I side when the weather was poor.

The selection of fresh fruits for breakfast was poor as was the variety of main courses in the evening.

Restaurant was poor , meat was tough , burgers , chicken skewers , pizza etc were of poor quality , even the chips weren’t great .

Unfortunately due to the last point and the poor food choice and quality we will not be returning here in what is otherwise a very nice hotel.

When you eventually get served your asked for your wrist band and your key card,we asked for some crisps as we were all inclusive €2, extra, if you want crisps,chocolate, bells whisky, and other brands you have to be all inclusive plus..

The staff were all very helpful, our room on the 17th floor was a good size, modern, clean and had an amazing view.

this is our fifth time at this hotel again the hotel was spotless, the food and staff were brilliant

The staff went over and beyond to ensure we had a memorable stay.

Overall, we had a great 7 nights at this hotel and would not hesitate to return some time in the future, well done MAR and team!! xx

but I asked in reception if someone could clean the floors again and they did.

It's been 2 yrs since I had stayed for my 3rd time, a spotlessly clean hotel, lovely rooms and lovely staff, unfortunately I haven't been able to stay since due to the hotels price hike, this really needs to be looked at as many people on various benidorm Facebook sites agree and also can no longer afford it, please bring your prices down as this is my favourite place to stay in benidorm and I would love to return x

The receptionist who checked us in was very nice and competent, helping us locate some lost property from our previous stay.

Everyone at BCL Levante touched our hearts with their compassion, patience which is why when we do go to Benidorm again, we will definitely stay at BCL Levante.

The animation team were the best we have come across, we tried aqua Zumba, darts, boules, ladder game and paddle tennis.

Had horrendous sleepless nights due to the people in Room 109 constantly moving furniture in the night.

5 day holiday 5 October 2023 at first seemed OK until family of about 40 took over most of our floor noise at night was terrible one of them let fire alarm off
We had money gone missing from our safe and we left behind ghd straighteners in the room on departure a friend who was still there asked nexted day if they had been handed in nothing so these were also taken management need to take a better look other reviews are the same.

So we were banging our legs everytime we went past as only a space of about 12 inches  to get by.

Hotel smack bang in the centre of a busy area, with a long stay you may start coughing due to car fumes.

Not too noisy for those who like an earlier night.

the sun beds are in lines squashed next to each other and they are not adjustable, the small number of parasols are old and cannot be moved ..the paving is loose and there is a constant banging noise from just walking on them.

but some nights we were woken with the groups coming in banging and shouting.

Also if placing pool side you can hear loud shouting from lauding pissed up lads .If nxt time we come to benidorm we are staying in old town benidorm better layed back holiday also if coming for a family holiday I wouldn't recommend it also as when we stayed there it was more like a stag or girls holiday

downside naxto very rude and ignorant towards me when i asked him not to blast music out at 3 in afternoon in bar while i was enjoying a nice quiet drink in bar..no wonder there have been complaints about noise level,he said he was testing sound system

however dangerous with loose / wobbly floor slabs everywhere - all you could hear was the bang off them as people moved round the pool / Sunbeds - it’s the start of the season and I don’t understand why the hotel hasn’t sorted this.

If u dont have kids its  extremely noisey with kids, which is understandable as family hotel we didnt mind thwt.

But worst of all the staff were horrendous.

I did hear that coach transfers drop off and pick up at the Dynastic further down the road.

The maids were loud in the mornings always could hear them

The only negative was the inconsiderate behaviour if some of the guests who would return to their rooms up to 5am and think nothing of shouting in the corridors, slamming doors etc which understandably is difficult for the hotel to control when culprits are not identified.

but there's not a lot they can do, they can't make too much noise as they're surrounded by residential buildings, which during covid got used to it being very quiet and them insisting it stays that way.

Jet 2 pick up over road at dynastic which is a bit of a jaunt with 3 suitcases, a pushchair and only 2 of you to get over there.

but there is no music or anything until then and they are only permitted up to a certain noise level due to a complaint from a woman in a nearby apartment.

Entertainment was not great and really let down by no one getting to grip with the sound system, couple of good singers who you could not hear and when staff challenged over it they did not take it well.

Couldn't fault this hotel again stayed here many times before in Benidorm, staff, service ,rooms etc, spot on, went all inclusive again, just one minor complaint not much variety at lunch, food rest of the time very good and plenty to choice from.

We were greeted by a lovely man on reception.

although I put that down to being fiesta week, The staff were brilliant as usual.

Nice comfy lounge and entertainment guy was great especially when he was dressed up for Halloween (with his rat).

Entertainment guy was fantastic  , cleaning staff were lovely and room was always tidied to a good standard.

Entertainment team put on a show every night, thought we were going to see a michael Jackson tribute act

We stayed at themed playa  hotel exelent staff rooms very clean food was  great  we ave booked to go bk next year evelyn trevor foster leeds we have booked to come back to the same time september next year .

The housekeeping staff are there quite early

I’m sure that this could be rectified as it just wasn’t comfortable.

Staff were always polite and helpful and worked extremely hard.
