Pool area was the highlight of our holiday for our 5 year old son (and me) the pool was heated to a good temperature , good enough to stay in for hours.

The room we had on the 9th floor was just fabulous, super comfy bed, spacious room, the balcony had a fantastic view over the pool and the surrounding sights, sunsets were simply amazing.

We had a room overlooking the swimming pool which has great views of Benidorm.

Included with the suite we got our own comfy day bed by the pool, pool towels and a free trip to the spa.

We used the lots of the facilities, the bar, pool, spa and found everything was just lovely from the great customer service and a friendly chat to all areas being spotlessly clean and the bar prices were competitive to the surrounding bars so we happily used the bar.

Staff go above and beyond from reception, cleaners,restaurant,pool area, all staff polite and smiling.

Staff are friendly-the hotel has mostly older couples and groups with the odd friend group so it was nice and relaxed by the lovely pool in the day.

We upgraded to a premium / platinum room and Our room was on 9th floor with great views of the pool and the surrounding area, big fantastic comfy bed , wide screen TV , safe ( which is free to use ) mini fridge and bathroom was excellent with a big walk in shower.

Reception was very friendly and it was great getting the pool towels from the hotel.

We stayed on the 4th floor with a pool view room, I wouldn’t quite say it was a pool view as we only got a snippet

The pool area was a happy place and we were glad it didn't have blaring music, like some places we have stayed at.

What a fabulous hotel I stayed in many hotels in benidorm and this is one of the best we have stayed in.rooms spotless the beds comfortable reception and pool area are cleaned all the time.Breakfast was spot on everything thing from full English to continental.my biggest disappointment was the sun beds please please upgrade them I so many people struggling to get out of these Some people had to double them up these beds have had their days.

From check to the lifeguard around the pool and the room maids they are all very attentive and polite ,there is plenty of choice for breakfast and always freshly  replenished i can notfind any thing bad to say about this hotel.if I can give any tips .

We loved the pool area and the hotel is spotless.

Dinner was also just as good as breakfast service, there was always plenty to choose from, you'll never go hungry here!

The pool area was spotless, the drinks were cheap, the pool water was on the colder side but with 33/34 degree heat it was needed.

It is the best food I have had at any hotel.

We especially loved the perfect welcome touches left for us to enjoy in our room, thank you, this made our stay extra special.

Our room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable .

The first time we have been away since my wife had a stroke 3 years ago found the hotel very accommodating and the room was massive and adapted to our requirements.

The rooms are air conditioned so they also remain very comfortable with the doors closed.

Big thanks to Eduardo on reception it was our 36th wedding anniversary on 31st and without asking he immediately upgraded our room and gave usa free spa day for good measure.

The room was quiet and comfortable with a balcony.

Check in was very efficient and my room was available an hour or so before the check in time.

though was the customer service, especially from Diego & Martijn from the reception team after I returned home and discovered I had left an item in my room.

I am writing this review from my sunbed here at the helios right now I would like to thank the helios Hotel for sending champagne to our room celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary and an upgrade room which was a great surprise.

Fantastic hotel, we are currently staying here for Christmas, the hotel is amazing and the staff are so friendly.

Breakfast was plentiful and a delightful atmosphere, friendly staff everywhere made our stay so relaxing.

So a big thankyou to one and all at the Helios Benidorm Have a wounderful Christmas and New Year we shall definitely be back.

Amazing hotel , very friendly and accommodating staff , nothing a problem.

The rooms were spotless and well decorated, only negative part was were the shower head was positioned in the bath it was the half across the wall not at the end so trying to shower without spraying the place was very hard.

no draws for clothes just a single hole in the wall for 6 shirts to be hanged.

We stated in accessible room in first floor which brings my to my only gripe, why are accessible rooms not given access to rooms with pool view and the afternoon sunshine strange to say the least, instead we have room with view of painted hotel wall and no afternoon sunshine.

Room had twin beds  and a small flat screen tv on the wall.

but beneath the various face-lifts is a budget hotel with paper thin walls and a particularly questionable customer demographic.

The shower is fixed to the wall at a very low heigh which made for an impossible shower for my 6’5” boyfriend,

but to be expected as a party place, just wish the walls were thicker so less noise

Only 2 small negatives - at times  you could hear people coming home in the early hours or doors shuttung, general moving about because walls are maybe a bit thin.

The walls felt quite thin so you could hear a lot of banging about.

The hotel location is in the prime spot for bars shops both markets in the new town part of benidorm.

but ok,side of hotel gets no sun on balcony,would stay again but prefer the old town of benidorm on poniente beach,but plenty servigroup hotels to choose from,shop around bar prices high,in all a relaxing stay,well done to all hardworking staff

This wasn't a problem as we went out most nights, there's plenty of bars and shops close by and the beach is around five minutes walk away.

Just returned from this hotel spent the new year there for the 8th year everything about this hotel is very good never varies food good ,cleanliness second to none ,staff throughout the hotel are all very helpful entertainment on New Year's Eve was very good once again hotel is situated in a good area plenty of shops and bars  and also close to the open air market which is on Wednesday and Sunday

but could do with a little more livening up but no complaints about them they were very very friendly ,pool area cleaned everyday spotlessly clean pool always nice and fresh as well location is perfect too and in walking distance to the beach bars shops market highly recommended to choose this hotel keep up the good work.

As for the location it was perfectly situated with a number of cafes, shops and bars such as jokers which provided tribute acts every night.

The location of the hotel itself is ideal, a 5/10 minute stroll to the beach and near to local bars and shops.

So many positives, location, food, friendly and helpful staff throughout (must mention Florin in the dining area), cleanliness of all areas, and despite criticisms, the rooms, whilst on the small side, are fine and well furnished.

The pool area gets lots of sun and is always clean and tidy.

The hotel caters to all ages we are 28 and 30 and is one of the nicest and cleanest hotels I've stayed in plus the staff are very friendly .

Just back from venus,had a great stay,well maintained hotel,clean towels sheets everyday,nice breakfast,location good for bars,only downside was toilet door glass no privacy depends who your with,small rooms

Rooms were air conditioned, clean and comfortable, food was lovely with a good selection ( not typical British Food all of the time) pool was fantastic and always able to get a bed, walk in steps for easy access.

It was immaculately clean, the pool area was kept spotless all day by the staff.

The worst part was, the door to the balcony had obviously been forced in the past and

This was compounded by the fact that the walls and patio doors were as thin as tissue paper to the point that my hotel bed may as well have been in the middle of the dance floor.

Good location for beach and nightlife, poolside food was lovely and reasonably priced 
Downside - bathroom door, frosted glass and has a 2” gap around the door, toilet right in front of the door and you can see right into bathroom and smells come out, you need to be very comfortable with whom you share the room with

The only small problem was the doors to the balconies are on such a tight spring they wouldn't stay open without a chair to wedge it.

The only negative was the on-suite door was frosted glass with gaps at the top/bottom & side.

but small, and wasn't too sure about the frosted glass bathroom door.

without being picky..this is an average 3 star..why small bedrooms,walls like tissue paper.could hear snoring next room..hear water when run next door..no kettle tea cofffee facilities in room.

It was too hot to sleep even with the door open too noisyWe did ask Dawn the customer service lady BUT apparently they have a date in October when it is turned off.

I could see the issue of the frozen glass bathroom door

The room has got to be the noisiest room we have ever stayed in, walls are paper thin can hear everything from rooms next door.

The only negative is the bathroom door this needs to be changed for privacy.

It was frosted glass and wasn't fitted as a proper door

You had to put key card in every door, pool door, toilets, reception, lift so it was very annoying when it did not work& you had yet another trip to reception  

Overall amazing hotel, in a lovely area, food was gorgeous.

Patio doors don't stay open .air con not working.

but my holiday was ruined as we needed a disabled room as my partner is a double leg amputee, the room was below pavement level with bars at the patio door that was locked so could not get outside making the room so dark and dismal and depressing we was shown a smaller disabled room but could not get the wheelchair though the door, I like to sit outside in the sun while my partner has to sleep in the afternoon this was not possible.

Only thing I disliked was glass door on bathroom,

Ok rooms are very small , and we were unfortunate to be on the side street that never got any sun and yes , the bathroom door is a bit odd ,

Two complaints: Toilet doors are non lockable and see through: entertainment not very good.

A lot of banging of doors moving furniture very noisy when cleaning other rooms.

however still had a non locking glass door on the bathroom!

The staff are very friendly and the food always good quality.

The food is wonderful and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

While they do not serve glasses of wine, you can buy a bottle, which will be kept in the fridge and can be drunk over several nights.

but basic and we knew about the glass non locking bathroom doors already!

but only thing was in the room the toilet had a frosted glass door and a gap right around the whole door were anyone else in room could see in bathroom.

There have been some reviews mentioning the glass doors on bathroom/shower

I would say that the only major downfall I have with the room is the frosted glass bathroom door.

but it’s been mentioned before and needs addressing, the glass doors on the bathrooms!

Bathroom was very small also with a glass door!!!

but totally adequate for our needs, but glass door on bathroom bit off putting.
