The Good: Excellent free wi fi and safe.In addition to tea/coffee facilities there was also a Krups coffee machine .The bed was king size.All the staff were helpful and friendly.Very nice breakfast in lovely surroundings.Plenty of bars/ restaurants etc.very close and a 7 minute walk to the ‘strip’.Handy bus stops if you wanted to go to the old town which was 2 miles away.The beach is also close by.

The staff have been excellent and the breakfast varied enough for a short break.

Very good selection of hot and cold food and breads for breakfast - also sparkling wine.

This is a wonderful hotel on the outskirts of Albufeira, the rooms, the breakfast & pool are great, only a 10 minute walk to the restaurants.

Pool towels are only changed once a week so unhygienic if you want them changed more you have to pay.

I would like to begin by acknowledging all of the staff at the hotel, every single one we encountered was polite, courteous and helpful from the reception to the cleaning staff and the waiters and waitresses in the restaurant  and bar areas.

It’s in a great location plenty of bars and restaurants on your doorstep, 4 euros in a Uber to old town which we preferred, also only 6 euros to the marina where there is some lovely restaurants/bars

I would also like to say a big thank you to he hotel for sorting a lovely bouquet of flowers for my partners 50th and they gave us a lovely birthday cake and a bottle of bubbly..

We also had the voyage for two massage and facial and wow most relaxing 1hr 15 we have ever had we felt like new people at the end , give it a go and you won’t be disappointed the girls are amazing !

Its a lovely hotel, very clean, good food, attentive staff, friendly guests, and great views of the beach from our top floor balcony.

The hotel is situated across a pedestrian walkway to a stunning beach.

It is right on the promenade with great beach and sunset views.

Our rooms had wonderful views over the beach and out to sea.

We liked our balcony from the 5th floor and loved the view to the beach where we watched beautiful sunrises and especially sunsets.

Make sure to get a room with beach view .

We had room 103 which I believe was the best room with a large patio overlooking the
beach.

The Seaview rooms are a must, across from a stunning beach, own beach area,beds €14.50 for small brolly 2 beds.

I really enjoyed staying here and would thoroughly recommend it if you are looking for a peaceful holiday with beautiful beach views.

We did not use pool area as the stunning beach is literally outside, sunbeds are €13.50 for two beds and shade.

The hotel was lovely and clean and we had a  great beach view room306.

Our room was amazing, beach front facing, you definitely need to have beach facing!

We stayed in room 322, this was very clean, modern and had a wonderful view of the sea and beach.

The hotel is in a fantastic central Quarteira location, with its own beach, pool, restaurant and bar areas, all overlooking the beach.

We had a beach view definitely worth the upgrade the room is spotless too with tea/ coffee making facilities and a small fridge to keep waters .

When in Quarteria visit this Prom side sea view hotel, smack in the middle of the prom it is accessible friendly spotless and value for money , chill, people watch just look at the beach view its all good, thanks again for your hospitality Dom Jose.

My room had a lovely view of the beach and sea.

We stayed in room 207, with a larger balcony and a great view of the beach.

The breakfast had a good selection and the staff all efficient and pleasant.

In terms of the food, we enjoyed the fresh, delicious options with plenty of choice, especially at dinner.

Lovely location and a great room (suite) - 016, comfortable communal areas and nice breakfast, only negative - the pool area is far too cramped - nothing at all like the photo, nice beach set up reasonably priced beds.

The food was delicious and had enough variety to please all 3 of us, including a pescatarian .

Breakfast was very good with something for everybody, coffee excellent and fruit and pastries were fresh and plentful.

My husband and I made a spontaneous decision to take a last-minute getaway to recharge and relax, and our only request was a hotel right on the beach.

Thank you to everyone at the Dom Hose Beach for making our holiday perfect.

Last minute break, booked on the Friday, arrived on the Sunday for a 5 night stay.

The rooms are nice and simple (enough to beach holidays).

but the beach was so close we only used once but good thing was no booking of loungers so it was my first holiday not having to get up at the break of dawn to get a seat !

Thank you for making our vacation such a lovely time!

We would highly recommend Dom Jose Beach hotel for those couples looking for a relaxing, good value, very clean and the perfect location for a beach holiday.

The hotel is well located for a quiet holiday on the beach.

We both had a full body massage in the spa and can recommend it to everyone it really helped us relax into our holiday.

We had a sea view room on the 2nd floor and it was absolutely worth paying the extra money.

We had a sea view room with balcony and it was worth every penny.

We stayed in a Standard sea view and while room is not huge it was more than big enough for us and it had everything you needed (kettle, safe, fridge).

Next time hope to upgrade to a seaview room which will add to the enjoyment.

It’s worth getting a sea view room, best view in Quateria.

This hotel is in a perfect beach front location, it is definitely worth having a sea view room and balcony  as being able to hear the sea at all times is wonderful.

We spent most of our time on the beach so the size of the pool wasn’t a problem and we requested a sea view room which I would definitely recommend.

We chose a sea view room and would highly recommend as they are very nice and a lovely view over the ocean, the sandy beach and the pool area of the hotel right on the promenade.

When we return we will select a sea view room which has a balcony.

If you are coming here you must have a room the sea view so lovely to wake up in the morning and see that view.

but we prefer the beach, only regret was as I had booked at the last minute there where no sea view rooms available but I will bear that in mind for when we book again as I definitely feel we will be back😎

There is ample variety in the breakfast room.

Stayed B & B and the breakfast food on offer was lovely and plentiful, with lots of choice.

The pool is lovely with lots of space and loungers, my only criticism is the food, breakfast is well breakfast apart from having to wait for ages to get a freshly fried egg.

Hot dog sausages for breakfast, with dried very baked beans.

The bread offers were poor as well, which was a shame as I used to love Portuguese bread

First time we have stayed at the Vila Gale Cerro Alagoa, and it won’t be the last, from the moment we arrived the reception staff were great and very informative, the room was large clean and catered for our needs, breakfast was great and plentiful, fresh omelettes and fried eggs, cereal juices etc.

The breakfasts have plenty to choose from, hot, cold, pastries, cereal, juices, and endless amounts of coffee etc.

Had a good time in the hotel, hotel room was nice,  friendly staff, breakfast was great, just to let people know, when ordering large soft drinks ( in pints  glasses ) we were charged €6.40 for each where small one was €3.20, and small ones was 3/4 of a pint, and a general pint and Gin and Tonic was 13 euro ( Gordon's Gin) But if you get a Hendricks it will cost you 19 euro,

We booked b&b and can’t complain about the breakfast with loads of choice.

Breakfast was fabulous, offering everything from a full cooked breakfast to continental style, fresh fruit and pastries that I am still missing now!!

Food was fresh and plentiful, different options every night and with a fussy 16 year old always managed to find something.

The breakfast was good and I would definitely stay here again when I go back.

but couldn’t fault a thing at breakfast time!

Liked our pool view room on the level(030)..no battling with luggage on lifts and just near everything.

We had a room overlooking the pool and a great view out to the sea.

We had a room with a great view of the pool and the Atlantic beyond.

Room 260 was great and had nice views overlooking the pool and the sea.

the room we stayed in had a large balconey overlooking the pool with a sea view, very bright with a kitchen area, seating area and lovely bedroom and bathroom with TV and airconditioning.

The rooms are big, and all have balconies with one half overlooking the pool and the other the busy road at the rear which is noisy at night!

One good point was that our balconies overlooked the pool and sea;

I would absolutely stay here again & request a room with a pool view to make the best of it, it really is gorgeous from what I saw laying by the pool.

We received a warm and efficient welcome at check-in and were allocated a room with a pool view, so away from the main road.

The view of the pool and sea in the distance was ok,

We had an amazing view from our balcony, overlooking the pool and with a clear view out to the sea.
