The rooms could have been a little cleaner, the carpets felt a little moist, mostly from the wear and tear,

but the stained carpet and ottoman does not help.

We were first given Room 125, which was shockingly disappointing--stained carpet and chair, very small and it smelled like a bathroom.

but room was very small and carpet was really dirty.

Upon entering the room there was a big dirty stain on the carpet.

We were ‘upgraded’ to a King bedroom - rooms are extremely small, carpet was stained, the bathroom had just a tub & toilet, the sink was in the room itself.

Carpet in the room should be uncarpeted  due to the tub being in the same room.

but I would recommend to speak with them before arrival maybe to open the window in order to have room ventilated to fade away the smell due to carpet.

Blood stains from killed insects on the walls, dirty carpet that needs to be replaced years ago.

Rooms are small, noisy and carpets are dirty.

Room dark and dark carpet and furnishings did not help.

Our room seemed to have been updated recently, carpet, tiles and bedding appeared new.

The location of this property is very good.

A centrally located property easily accessed by road and with ample parking.

but for the price we paid (& comparable to other locations we stayed on our trip), we probably wouldn’t stay again.

The location puts you on the west side of downtown which is a short walk away.

While the room isn't particularly modern, it was clean and comfortable with excellent service and a great location within an easy walk of downtown Jasper.

I just stayed at Mount Robson Inn June 2022 and the rooms are clean.

Room was clean renovated and super comfortable beds.

Room was spotless and had all necessary amenities-including an extra sink area outside the bathroom.

We had a very nice and clean room that appeared to have been renovated lately.

The staff were friendly, clean rooms, and breakfast included.

The hotel is close to Jasper centre, about a 15 minute walk - so in a good location with free parking on-site.

It was very close to downtown so could walk to most things in town (5-10 min walk).

The Robson Inn is close to town and most people who are reasonably fit can easily walk into town, and you can easily drive if needed.

Excellent service, over priced, inadequate room size, not accessible for disability, need to be able to get to room without stairs, need bars in shower, need walk in showers: the front check in support was very good,

Mount Robson Inn is an easy walk into Jasper - short and flat.

The hotel is about 15 minute walk to downtown Jasper.

I would have preferred a different room with a working air conditioner.

Causes a very loud noise through the inside AC unit.

The air conditioning was left on at 10 degrees outside.

However, the bedroom had a musty smell, the towels were frayed, the air conditioner cut out during the night and the bed was uncomfortable.

but we opened the window and the AC fan helped deal with the smell.

we slept with the door ajar to keep air moving around.

The only problem during my last visit was a noisy heating unit, an unusual occurrence, and not bad enough to warrant a complaint.

stained toilet, corroded fixtures in the bathtub, leaking faucets, no fan etc.

Perhaps when letting out  a room like this a fan and means of securing the screen door could be provided.

On this particular occasion the rooms air conditioner didn't work, making the room rather warm: front desk did what they could

The only other complaint I had was that the heater was very loud.

We  had the fan  on until we found it too loud.

The water pressure was a bit lacking, and the Internet wifi useless.

we have stayed at this hotel many times on our way home from family visit.this time we stayed on the 2nd floor ( no elevator).The ground floor units cost extra this trip and as the cost was already very high we declined

You may have to fiddle with the air conditioner to get it from cycling from dead quiet to HUUUM suddenly in the night.

The hotel obviously knew the air conditioner was broken because the air conditioner power cord was not even plugged in.

Had to keep turning on the fan to circulate the air as it kept shutting down.

The lovely Christmas decorations and antique furniture and toys in the front foyer were a nice touch.

While it may not be styled modern, it is very clean and you can feel very comfortable.

My room on the first level was clean and the bed was excellent and very inviting after the drive.

We were en route to Toronto from Newfoundland and decided to pull in at this hotel, and we couldn’t believe how beautiful it looked at night all decorated for Christmas.

This Days Innis big amazing style have unique designs Staff amazing and friendly accomodating.

The hotel decor in the lobby area had a bit of a retro look to it.

I am a little quirky and hate drinking out of paper cups so it was nice to have china cups in our room along with our coffee maker.

Room very cozy and very clean.We arrived late and the greater at the desk was very nice and professional.

Antique pieces and Christmas decorations were pleasant and inviting.

Our room and the hotel throughout was very clean and attractively appointed.

The Inn's décor and the playground are nice additions as well.

The hotel is somewhat dated and carpeting in the halls and rooms are in need of cleaning.

One negative for us - while all the rooms we have stayed in are smoke-free, there is a very strong smell of cigarette smoke when you come out of the reception area to the rooms hallway, which is a little off-putting.

although our room was smoke-free, the smoke drifted throughout the hall from the smoking rooms.

Truly if they just took the time to use a carpet shampooer throughout the hallways and rooms it would make a huge difference.

The only negative is that across the hall from our non smoking room were smoking rooms and the smell does spread onto the hallway.

but had better, not a good setting as shared same space with entrance hall and reception.

The hallway stairs leading up to the second floor were very dirty, which made me nervous to see the rooms.

I would recommend the carpet in the hallways and stairs be carpet cleaned, perhaps they are done once or twice a year.

We had to carry our large suitcases up the stairs, and walk right to the end of the hallway no elevator.. We always stayed on the first level before my fault I guess because all the hotels were booked that night I left the booking too late.

The lobby and hallway had many "antiques" like old toys and suitcases and trunks.

however I found the signs with directions to the room numbers were completely wrong and lead me down the wrong hallway with 2 suitcases after carrying them up the stairs (no elevator).

A large group of children were running and shouting in the halls after 11pm.

When you walk in you'll notice that the lobby and halls were decorated by someone with a penchant for old school charm.

Unfortunately, from the moment one climbs stairs, it is obvious that cleanliness lacks: dustbunnies are quite obvious in the stairways and the hallways.

The water pressure for the shower was very weak and when I asked the front desk to look into it they laughed and said to try again in 10 minutes because others along the first floor hallway may have been showering at the same time.

End of the corridor on the second floor for a family of 5 with no elevator available was not ideal for loading and unloading during what was supposed to be a quick overnight stop.

As I walked into the lobby, up the stairs and through the hallways I couldnt help

The carpet in the hallways was clearly dated and well-worn (I'm assuming what the reviews I read were referring to),

The hallway in front of our room smelled strongly of smoke, and it did drift into our room when we opened the door.

The ground floor rooms have patio doors that open and another door that opens into an inner hallway.

The Days Inn is close to the highway, easy to get to and near some very nice local restaurants, as recommended by the helpful staff.

Also close to local ski hill,Mont Farlagne, where we enjoyed a couple of hours skiing before supper.

When we needed directions to local restaurants the staff knew exactly how to help us.

Clean room, great area for local restaurants and breakfast was super as usual.

They recommended a local restaurant for dinner.

Enjoyed dinner at local family restaurant nearby- good food friendly service.

Excellent breakfast choices (better than most of this type) and lobby and halls decorated tastefully with local antiques.

Free breakfast was OK.  Great access to the Interstate and to a nearby local restaurant.

I will have to contemplate whether to stay at this local in the future.

Although no facilities or shops close-by, a gasoline station and excellent local restaurant are within close proximity.

Friendly staff, very helpful with information about local events and services.

We discovered the local Saint Basile restaurant and ate there as compared to going into Edmundston to eat.

It is conveniently located just off the highway with a small local restaurant very close by and more options available about ten kilometres away in Edmundston.

Front desk staff were friendly and provided information about local amenities.

No restaurant on site so we went down the street to a local place as recommended by front desk & enjoyed dinner.

This stay we checked in at 3:30pm local time & went to the room.

They suggested some awesome bike routes and really had an understanding of the local area.

Good little local restaurant just down the road.

This hotel is quite away from any restaurants.

Nice added touch with bistro table & chairs outside to enjoy fresh air.

The to-go breakfast was great as well - we were able to choose what we wanted and eat it in our room or bring it with us when we left.

We stayed there a few times while travelling and everything about it is just lovely, its quiet, comfortable and has lots of sockets for appliances like c pap machines if your senior, huge car park, near town and easy to order in from surrounding  fast food restaurants We have always booked it at least 5/6 months in advance for the best prices as we are senior and did so again for this past vacation.

I had written about them separately as being the best pizza I ever had.

My room was good  especially because i had my dog and it was on the bottom level   i would recommend this hotel       the breakfast was good   had everything a continental breskfast should have  the hotel was a little further away from eating places

The breakfast had a good selection of foods.

There is a restaurant close by with a reasonable menu which we have used both times6 as well.

The buffet breakfast is well prepared, hot and tasty, with lots of options.

It was within 10 minutes of a shopping area with gas and food available and the staff was polite and helpful.

You will have to go into town for restaurants.

There's a spacious field and wooded area where you can safely walk your dog(s) which is most welcome after a long drive

but the food was excellent and the eating and food areas were kept clean and the food choices were topped off regularly.

This hotel is actually about ten kilometers from Edmundston in St Basile and would suggest eating in Edmundston rather than St Basile.

but it is close enough to the casino and Edmundston- it is clean and good foods- but not fresh waffles- just the type to throw in the toaster-

When I walked up the stairs to the second level I thought we entered into a different hotel.

The hotel was fully booked so I had to go up the stairs and stay the whole evening in my room and wait to leave in the morning as I have a muscle disease and stairs are very difficult.

Ground out that there are only stairs to 2nd floor.

All very awkward and would be very difficult for those not as able to carry their luggage up stairs.

One thing I must comment negatively on is that the carpet on the stairs up to our first floor room looked like it was well worn and rather dirty.

Only reason I did not rate this a 5 was because the second floor is only accessible via stairs.

There is no elevator so if unable to do stairs or are wheel chair bound ask for ground floor.

Having to haul luggage up a flight of stairs was do-able

There is no elevator so if you are on the second floor you must carry your tings up a flight of stairs.

Those stairs were pretty steep for this senior carrying luggage.

Just needed to take our bags up a flight of stairs to second floor.

We were directed to our second floor room via stairs off the lobby (note that there is no elevator) and had no difficulty maneuvering our large suitcases up the wide staircase.

The only downside was having to lug a 50 lb suitcase up a flight of stairs.
