Hotel was built in late 60's and has not been updated since.

It's too expensive (based on Bulgarian prices in general) for the conditions.

This is an old hotel and despite all the renovations it is obvious.

For two days the main staircase was closed and one had to use just the elevator, Breakfast is not worth the money - it is very small and is held in the hotel`s cafe where there are no conditions for admitting all guests.

but dated and would benefit from refurbishment.

NB - the hotel is in Varna, not Golden Sands (16km distant)  The hotel is need of refurbishment and modernisation,

The hotel fixtures and fittings are old and very my in need of updating.

Both the premises and room were very clean!

The rooms are clean and comfortable and everything works - the air con, TV, hairdryer and fridge.

spent a weekend here on 5th may 2017.its down a small side street with very little parking

And there is no parking available in the narrow street.

There is one BIG problem and it is PARKING LOTS !

Best to go by cab, the streets are narrow and very little to no parking.

The room was clean and well appointed, the bathroom excellent and the breakfasts excellent.

This hotel is welll located for the town centre or beach.The rooms are clean and roomy.

The room had everything you could want and was very clean with great decor throughout the hotel.

however, is very tired and stinks of cigarettes.

First room I had the drain connection under the bathroom sink blew off.

A comment on previous negative remarks:  The smokers went outside to smoke and we (both non-smokers) did not smell smoke in the hallways or room.

My only complaint about this hotel is the smell of smoke in the hallways/room,

There are only 2 areas of improvement which I can recommend (i) hallways had smell of stale smoke which may be hard to overcome since everyone smokes in Bulagaria (ii) hotel is somewhat difficult to find as it is on a narrow, unlit street

Got a taxi from the bus station, had trouble finding the hotel as it’s in a side street with no name advertised outside (why is that)?

The location of hotel is nearby sea-side garden and there are not available parking lots (you have to park on the streets if you can find place).

That said, the view outside our window was of a normal street with people washing their cars, walking into town, etc.

Must park on street and that's sometimes very difficult because or lack or street parking.

Ask the guards where is located reception, because first building that you see is old journalist center.

I stayed in the lower building close to the reception, so this review is based on this building (in addition, there is a second, tall building close by, also belonging to the hotel).

When you drive up, one of the buildings is a little intimidating,

What they call coffee is a hot brown water having the taste of .

What I was looking for, in regards to my needs for several weeks of accommodation, was a hotel that could offer the following:

- close to the sea
- quiet, almost silent surroundings
- clean room with a comfortable double bed
- a price tag I could live with for a 4-week-stay
- a sympathetic staff

What you get for staying at this hotel, is practically no noise when sitting on the balcony on the back side of the hotel.

The lobby and rooms are very clean, and all of the rooms are on the side of the sea.

Two persons in a room only get towels for one person.

A suggestion for improvement would be to change towels more often,

But it has a certain charm and is cheap.

Also ideal for travelers on one night by car, only Wi-Fi signal could be stronger.

There were four choises for breakfast and we had to preorder one of them for the next morning.

The only downside was the breakfast as there is no cooked food, everything is cold so if you enjoy an english breakfast this hotel is not for you.

I did so and when I came back later in the afternoon I was asked to pay more since I checked in early. Uh.

They asked to pay in cash the rest part of the bill.

We have been moved three times from room to room /we didn't requested it/.When we went to a second room the sheets were dirty , with spots of body fluids, and under one of the pillows we found a male pants /used/!

but evaded luckily without any serious issues,i called reception and the gentleman came in room,instead of helping me or soothing me,he said ohh my boss will charge you for this mirror around euro30,the hotel room was at that time around US$30,room is US$30 but mirror is euro 30,and 2nd thing,the gentleman consistently bugged me and asked me for the money 5 times,till i run out of patience and call agoda-booking dot com to intervene and they intervened and sort out the issue.

Also, only towels for one person were made available.Toilet paper was not replenished prompting a visit to the Reception Desk later on to request  a roll.

I booked this two week break with my partner and two children, after travelling else where.

The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, excellent  WIFI connection, TV.

Unfortunately, due to family reasons, we had to cancel the holiday, and after a brief exchange with the owners, the deposit was returned without any haste.

Anyways we ordered food from Foodpanda and Takeaway.

Cosy and clean room and spacious bathroom.

I guess this wouldn't be a problem when one travels with older children and can visit restaurants nearby.

Only downside was not having warm water all day long, so you had to be patience to get a shower..

Our double room was big and nice, unfortunately we could hear everithing happened outside of the room and the toilets weren't clean sometimes because of the party people staying in the hostel,

As far as cons, the bathrooms weren't super clean, and the showers were sometimes cold.

And there is  traffic noise as it is on a main street

The rooms were clean and the aircon worked.

Just when someone flushed the toilet next to the shower room, water pressure was very low for about 30 seconds (and eventually the water got colder temporarily).

During my stay the water wasn't really hot when showering.

I didn't like the food and the buffet didn't have many choices.

Мы в отеле особо не сидели, для варианта "Bad&Breakfast" он просто замечательный, хотя если всё время в отеле проводить, то, думаю, тоже скучать не придётся.

The hotel is about 20 minutes from the city center by taxi which costs around 6€.

but the problem was that there was not room service so they were not cleaned again.
