Not sure what the problem was with the AC,

Vents in bathrooms reveal openings, are clogged with dust/dirt, they do not vacuum under couches and shelves.

Our only beef is that the air conditioning kept cycling off.

the HVAC thermostat did not work and was flashing "E9".

Just wish the AC fan could be set for continuous run without having to turn it off cool.

The air conditioner was a bit temperamental, sometimes working well, other times the room would be uncomfortable.

The thermostat in our room had been set on 62 degrees.

I suggested to the front desk manager, Melissa McGuire, that if she was to instruct her room inspector to make sure that room air conditioning units were not left in the 60's as frequently done by cleaning staff that the hotel that this would prevent waste of electricity and yield a considerable savings on her company's electric bill.

I rated it as 4 because the heater in my room broke.

The in room air conditioning unit successfully obscured the noise of I-40.

but the replacement was equally loud, I had to unplug the unit to get a good night sleep.

The hotel has a central heat/air unit, so the room did not have one of those noisy, smelly window units.

Also, the air conditioner is one of those that kicks off and on all night long and you cannot simply leave the fan running to drown out the noise.

The only thing it was i had a problem was the heater it was hard to regulate.

I turned on the AC and the smell seemed to disappear for a while,

The breakfast was delish and the cookies were delish!

The cookies baked by Leia were delicious as well.

Everything went very well here and the breakfast was delicious!

The staff was very friendly and helpful and the rooms were very clean and comfortable the breakfast was great and there was lots of restaurants nearby along with Walmart and Lowe’s and there a nice indoor pool and exercise room

My husband and I loved the breakfast over the weekend as it showed the time and effort put in by the staff.

The hotel staff is very knowledgeable of their local restaurants and we received our Hilton owners package ready to go which was nice as well as fresh cookies.

The customer service is unheard of , with the friendly and knowledgeable front desk, fresh baked cookies upon arrival and clean rooms and the breakfast was actually good.

Kevin the desk manager baked us fresh cookies and called us the “guest of the day” which in my travels seemed unique and special.

He gifted us cookies and two waters with a note expressing his condolences.

We loved the room, the breakfast, the cookies in the evening and the courteous friendly service!

Staff was very friendly and accommodating and of course there are the free fresh cookies and check in.

This was the best hotel that I've stayed in this year (2019).

The coffee and cookies were great too after the long drive!

24 hour coffee and cookies were the ultimate bonus of this hotel.

Coffee always available in lobby as well as cookies.

They even have fresh Otis Spunkmeyer cookies all day long!

They’re so knowledgeable and friendly, I enjoyed my stay because of their excellent hospitality !

Not very professional and there is always someone smoking out front.

They were not attending to social distancing at all and only two people had masks on.

The tub didn't drain when we showered,  so you're kinda standing in your own sweat and dirt from the day.

The pastries were stale, orange juice warm, empty fruit bowels, and oatmeal was cold and so thick it wouldn’t come off the scoop.

I did notice, and reported, a very musty smell each time we entered the room.

So you're basically left just twiddling your thumbs in a pool of sweat until it cycles back on.

We had to retrieve the front desk person from her smoke break.

It was late and the smell wasn't bad enough to go through the hassle of changing rooms.

but smelled very strongly of a scrubbing bubbles type of cleaner.

Room smelled like smoke, tub would not drain (you know the maids notice this and did not report it), so you get to take a shower with dirty water backing up on you.

If you've ever stayed at a hotel that was once a smoking hotel, or someone smoked in non smoking room, they have a spray that tries to cover that smell.

After a few hours, I realized that the smell was actually decomposition, probably from a mouse, and likely in the wall behind my bed.

Enough about the food-WELCOMING, CLEAN, and yummy breakfast-who might ask for more?!! !

my husband enjoyed breakfast; he said the breakfast staff were efficient and pleasant.

The breakfast has many options for all to choose from.

Also really good breakfast with so many option compared to all my other choices.

Breakfast was delicious - hot food was hot & cold food (yoghurt) was cold.

Breakfast was decent and one of the workers even gave my grandson a small toy that he took with him everywhere.

We all got excellent sleep each night and the breakfast each morning was excellent.

Breakfast was good with  eggs,  sausage,  hash browns,  waffles, fresh fruit, oatmeal and pastries options.

In the morning they prepared a really good breakfast with a wide variety of foods to choose from.

This was such a lovely stay - the room was clean and well stocked, the staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfast was kept filled with lots of options.

Breakfast was very good with plenty of hot and cold offerings.

The fridge leaked, the doors didn't shut all the way, and carpets were also very dirty and clearly they cut corners on cleaning.

Plus the carpet remained sticky and it turned bare feet black.

The carpet in the first floor hallway is filthy, as is the cloth upholstery on the chairs in the breakfast área. Ugh!

Nobody appreciated carpet dust flying around our food.

The carpet out front states "Making you happy, makes us happy" AND THEY MEAN IT!!

The carpets were dirty and needed a good shampooing (which appeared to be happening as we exited).

The 1st room I was in hard extremely filthy carpet.

The carpet in just a couple of months is dirty.

Just can’t get over how comfortable the bed was.

My daughter said the bed was so comfortable that she had the best sleep.

The hotel and room were immaculate, bed very comfortable, coffee/tea choices in room, staff friendly and the grounds were maintained by landscapers who care about their work.

Awesome pool for my kids, a full size pool for the wife, and a hottub for me.

The indoor pool area features two pools; one normal sized and one child pool about one foot deep, and outside area featured a hot tub (closed for repairs during our stay)  The hotel was convenient to I-540, so it was a few miles from city center,

Kids enjoyed the pool and we thought the kiddie pool was a hot tub till we realized the hot tub was outside.

Me and my family stayed to night here for a weekend getaway we loved every thing about this hotel, the staff is very nice, the room was great, the breakfast was so good and the pool and hot tub we're wonderful!

This hotel is basically next door to the fort smith regional airport and close to many places to eat and shopping.

Despite being close to the airport and two high school sports teams staying, we did not hear a peep once inside our room.

We were there for one night and chose the Homewood due to proximity to the airport.

Quiet, close to the airport and plenty of places to eat in the area - both local places and familiar chain restaurants.

This is one of the nicer hotels near the airport.

Clean, friendly, accommodating, excellent value, excellent amenities, close to airport, restaurants and shopping.. Staff was super friendly.

It’s proximity to the airport is a significant bonus, and it’s near all the great eateries!

The lady asked us for our breakfast card from check-in, which we didn’t have - she took our order from the menu.

Breakfast is a real treat:  delicious egg pockets, hash browns, sausage, biscuits, gravy, oranges and bananas, water bottles, juices, 2% milk cartons, breads and bagels.

Hot breakfast was good with a large variety of choices.

The hotel had a delicious scent coming from the Kitchen.

The “breakfast” wasn’t worth eating - we passed.

I am a long time Hilton Honors member and book with Hilton properties when I travel and this is the first time I have been dissatisfied.

I was able to check in and pick my room the day before I arrived using Hilton Honors.

As a Hilton Honors member with a son who plays college football, I am quickly becoming familiar with hotels and which ones I would return to.

Being a Hilton Honors member has allowed us our overnight stays in Fort Smith to be virtually free using our points.

On a very short business trip to Fort Smith I selected this property both because of the Hilton Honors program and its proximity to the airport.

She took the time to look at my Hilton Honors profile and noticed that I booked a smoking room

They also stated they did not have my Hilton Honors number.

I'm a loyal Hilton gal and decided to try this property out.

Hotel was very clean and our room was SPOTLESS!

Right at the airport so easy pick up/drop off for those coming and going from the airport. The rooms were clean, large and cool (it was over 100 each day we were there!)

The rooms are always clean and everything is in working order.

I knew it was going to be a great experience  From front desk being pleasant and informative and most important allowing pets, the housekeeping made sure every day that we had plenty of towels and that our room was spotless.

My room was very clean and plenty of room for anything I was using for work.
