For our 2nd dinner we skipped the entrees and filled up at the buffets instead.

The half board was excellent and by offering a combination of served food and buffet food at dinner there was a wide variety for all tastes.

Breakfast was mind blowing freshly squeezed orange juice and everything.

Then, next morning, during breakfast, they didn't have a table ready for us AGAIN.

though we went over Easter bank holiday and the hotel was full, the food was still delicious, the service brilliant and the atmosphere very special.

The Frühstück (breakfast) on the other hand was marvelous.

Soup and salad course are again buffet style.

The breakfast buffet is expansive and have almost everything one would want to fuel up for the day.

The hotel itself is nice: the rooms are clean and offer great views, there is a heated underground walkway to the pool/spa area, free underground parking is available, breakfast and dinner are included in the room rate.

While it seemed a bit expensive at first you got a lot for the price.

Overall, with a price tag of 450 euros per night, the price/quality ratio of this hotel is absolutely terrible.

First we doubted to stay because of high price.

We lost an hour of our time on San Valentine's Day to discuss with the staff, and not being able to use the services we wanted to use and paid for.

Dinner in the pool area was a bit confusing, although it was supposed to be inclusive, we were charged for the salad to accompany our meal and this seemed a little unnecessary as well as extortionate when we got our bill at checkout.

Id reccomend to pay the full day as the time flies, considering you are going to the restaurant, etc.

All drinks (except at breakfast) must be paid for and are not included in the half board option.

but they need to pay more attention about the hygiene in kids area, because we come back to home with rotavirus after 4 days stay.

We where told yes we would only have to pay any difference (price increase versus voucher worth)  Unfortunately we didn't get the name of this accommodating lady.

but I would lower down the pricing for this below 300 bucks (299 looks a lot better, believe me).

Floods and debris had closed the Oztal road; we had to turn back and find somewhere to stay.

The vegetarian options were plentiful and the spa and relaxation area was perfection.

In this area and in a similar price category, it's possible to find other hotels that provide comfy beds, a great breakfast and top service.

One evening the Yin yoga class was cancelled due to the heavy rains, the instructor was unable to make it.

You don’t get lost due to it being gigantic, like some others.

but I don't think I would go back again due to the negative aspects I pointed out previously.

We stayed one night and as a compromise were charged for two nights due to our having actually booked for five nights.

- No internet connection in the room, only in the reception area.

There is no wifi in the rooms and this is apparently intentionally so.

By the way - while there is not wifi in the rooms (they explain why in the welcome materials) there IS wired internet access in the rooms - just remember to bring along an ISDN connector wire.

Also, I really missed having my very early cup of coffee, I had to wait until 7:30.

but we had to spend another 90 minutes or so in the lobby, waiting for it to be done.

Only downside is the WIFI that is only accessable from the lobby.

my only negativ point is that there is no wifi available in the hotel.

The great location with the magical nature was just the beginning, we had an unforgettable experience with the best service by all the hotel members, a spotless clean facilities, tasty breakfast and Chef level dinners.

A big plus for lovers of proper nutrition were quinoa, sesame, chia for breakfast,  fresh apples during the day.

The breakfast room is incredible, all carved wood and old German sayings - plus of course a delightful breakfast.

The breakfasts are full and reach, everyone will be satisfied.

From the magnificent woodwork in the bedrooms, breakfast room, lounge, and dining room (which looks to have been a ballroom at one time) , to the gardens and the covered sitting pavilion -old world class and charm abound.

Stayed here recently on a motorcycling holiday in the alps for one night, the staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was spacious and well appointed and the breakfast very good.

I recommend taking earplugs for breakfast time, in case you are unfortunate as we were.

The booking in procedure was very efficient and as I was shiown the breakfast room for the next morning our table was already set with the correct room numbers.

We booked a 7 day stay which included breakfast and dinner.

The breakfast was less elaborate than other hotels we stayed at, and the plumbing in our room left a little bit to be desired as it took 10 minutes to get hot water to the shower in the morning,  so I vacillated back and forth a bit about whether to give this hotel 4 or 5 "stars" .

The floors are a bit creaky and the hot water takes a long time to get to the taps/shower,

The breakfast room was suitably panelled and presented uniquely with a buffet breakfast that only lacked some hot foods eg scrambled eggs (hard boiled were provided) and a toaster would have been good.

The warm water takes a while to reach it's temperature and the Sauna etc in Summer is by request only

Effectively, all was of a very high quality: room, hotel facilities, breakfast and dinner, parking, staff and personnel.

Breakfast was served between 7.30 and 10 am and was more than adequate: fresh coffee was brought to table, omelettes and eggs were prepared to your liking, good selection of breads and home-made jams were available alongside with yogurts, cold cuts and cheese,

The food in the restaurant is delicious, pleasure for all sennses.

The breakfast was the usual continental style buffet fresh and plentiful served in a nice dining room.

They have very nice saunas ( I think 4 of them) .The breakfast it's very good and in the evening you can choose between 2 or 3 menu a la carte.

(rich choice, delicious deserts, home wine); best location (5 minutes drive or 15 min walk to Aqua Dome, 10 min drive to Sölden, a lot of shops, banks, etc.

Dinners taste delicious and are prepared by the  chef in exquisite  way - fresh salad buffet on a side offered each evening.

Familiar hotel, beautifull village, good breakfast and parking free.

We had lunch which was a complementary little buffet of cakes and soups which was lovely.

The dinner is very good, you have a buffet and one " a la cart " menu to choose from.

Moreover, we changed our room to a non-renovated one with an old bathroom with absolutely cold floor and no battery (that's why towels and ski clothes didn't get dry).

Some people might find this a bit annoying as you have to adjust the hit and cold taps to get the right temperature.

a total unfriendly staff and on top of all they switch off the heating during the night at 15 centigrades bellow zero, half of my friends and their kids got cold after 2 days.

Nice experience even if a little expensive.

One tip- Check out which room you take, the price gaps are small

When we arrived, the owner Michael didn't believe us and doubted our words; after long conversation and explanations we paid additionally and didn't get any words of apology or compliment.

During the holiday my dog ate the stuff that keep the door still and i payed 25€ when in reality this could cost only 3€.

Breakfast was very good,afternoon snack average,evening meals got very boring after the third night.We decided to take our main meal outside the hotel.

The restaurant staff ('our' waiters for breakfast and dinner Wolfgang, Jan, Bettina and Petra) were also very friendly.

Doors are not isolated, so we can hear everything from the corridor.

but a series of small details which do have their importance when you display 4* at your front door made our stay a finally poor experience.

We could have our door open and not be disturbed.

but during our stay all parking places were iced and quite difficult to walk on.

But, unfortunately for us, we had a room with this roadnoise, facing a (staff)parking and garbage-shed and above the exitdoor for  staffmembers were the staff also have a chat and smoke during their breaks.

The cold reality is that this hotel appears to be run solely for the benefit of the owner and his family, regularly reserving the best table in the restaurant and the best seats in the bar, whilst guests are seemingly little more than an annoying necessity.
