As soon as you walk through the doors you are greeting the friendliest concierge and not to mention this infused air you smell when you step foot in the beautifully designed hotel.

I had about 5 hours of enjoyment, then at 1:45pm, the techno music next door started up.

but not more so than thousands of similar hotels and the beach facilities disappointing just the same as the next door beach which is free.

Do note that with trees come dust and insects hence we had our glass door shut pretty much all the time.

My therapist for the first parts of the treatment would regularly live the door ajar and would leave me hanging.

even though I had not opened my external sliding door.

My biggest gripe with the hotel are the lifts, my room was across from the lift, which is very loud, groaning, metal creaking noise every time it was used, and when the doors open and close, felt like a constant earthquake.

We had three things break (by misfortune, the construction quality seemed quite good) in our room—a light went out, the toilet plunger snapped, and the shower door opened the wrong way—which were fixed the next time a maid came in without us even having to mention it, which for me was the best thing about the service—not needing to ask.

Felt like posting them some runny excrement under the door.

Did not have enough time to enjoy the offers of the hotel due to the business schedules.

During day 3, we had our breakfast at 8am as usual and we decided to try out the indoor pool at 9am when no one was there, and then comes the BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT when we were told that my wife is not allowed in the pool wearing the Hijab swimwear due to the hotel policy of “No Hijab” in indoor or outdoor pool - Shocking, this is totally UNACCEPTABLE and SHAMEFUL to discriminate against muslim womens in a majority muslim country!

My husband, toddler and I stayed at the Residence Tunis for five days and, unfortunately, due to our toddler falling ill, stayed inside the hotel during the entire time.

though a little dark due to the choice of color.

While checking in I was brought over to a “Reserved Check in area.” I was told that due to my Black Level status with Global Hotel Alliance, I had been given a double upgrade.

Unfortunately due to actual situation in Tunisia the hotel isn't filled enough

but I believe it was due to the fact that we were in low season (end of winter).

The staff are not very warm and the interior of the hotel is cold and sterile due to vast open spaces.

but I think it would be better suited to a weekend getaway rather than longer stays due to it's location.

We will not be going back mainly due to both of us going down with 'Tunis Tummy!'

Fascinating hotel with a wonderful Tunisian touch, beautiful and ample common spaces, good and attentive service, attention to clients.

but the View from is too much disappointing due to so many constructions projects facing the hotel.

The free wifi was reasonably fast and food was OK. Now for the cons, there is no place in this area (Le Bergres de Lac 2) including the hotel that serves alcohol so get your own booze also there is a lot of construction near and around the hotel

It is located next to the Canadian Embassy and in an area under construction with some restaurants

There is also a construction site facing the hotel so not helpful if you want top sleep in or during the day.

Every time I had to wait for some time to get checked in/ check out.

however I had a very bad experience when the reception staff  asked me to wait long time to complete check-in and get to my room where other guests arrived after me and got to their rooms one hours before me!!!

Only one lift was working which was very slow and made me wait each time a couple of minute.

I get in the shower and realize that no towels have been provided, so at this point I am drying myself off with a bath matt in order to put on dirty clothes and go to a meeting with no breakfast because I've been waiting so long.

The receptionist  was unhelpful , I  waited more than 40 minutes in the lobby to get my room and after all this I found the maid still in the room, it's not much with my expectation.

After 2 hours when i asked the reception to get my car back, i kept waiting for 30 minutes, first the clerk said the car is coming, then they asked me if its possible that i go my self to take it out from the car park, once i arrived at the parking i found my car on front of the parking automatic door, the valet told me that he couldnt take it out because its an automatic car.

Not only are the views over the beach breath taking, the chef does a great job.

I found the service uniformly excellent in all locations (pool, beach area, gym, spa, restaurant, etc.).

The hotel has a main beach with stunning Sunrise.

but just heads-up, here’s what the 150 dinar pass entitles you to: a beach chair/umbrella, towel and water bottle (as well as access to the bathrooms which are, admittedly, pretty nice).

The location, the food, the service, the staff …..everything was absolutely perfect.

Breakfast buffet is off the hook and diverse (ethnic specialties and foreign choices)

I went to a restaurant there called the kitchen to see if they maintained good standard and I was pleasantly surprised.

- comfy room with wonderful view (sea)
- diner at the breeze restaurant was beyond expectations ( especially sea food)
- Calm stay
- healthy and varied breakfast at the horizon restaurant with a fresh view.

The breakfast menu items were the same throughout my stay, so after a few days you start noticing the same things.

Excellent hotel, great service, good food at the hotel restaurants and a very short walk to good restaurants nearby.

The breakfast is very qualitative and the hotel offers a variety of restaurants with great quality and competitive prices.

The cuisine is more than tasty and got good amount of dishes.

There were also plenty of other shops and eateries around.

Great assortment of fresh fish, grilled or fried per your taste.

Housekeeping was very reliable and always checked the room when I was out: so nice to come back to a cleaned room without having to "organise" it.

Rooms are overlooking the pool and see in same level having a private door to premises which is amazing

I stayed in the beachfront room which made waking up each morning a unique experience.

The rooms are quite big, clean and has everything you need, we had room number 135, has a great beach view and very close to the pool area.

The placs is amazing, it has a lot of services and nice rooms.

The rooms were clean and  housekeeping staff were very good.

My room has  an amazing sea view !

The  service was just like wowwww fantastic view , rooms are luxurious and comfortable.

As usual, before heading to the hotel we gave them a call to inquire and reconfirm regarding the price and availability of their rooms.

They also gave us fruits and a chocolate cake in our room the first night, to say congrats.

The rooms are excellent and the service was great, especially Marwa on the reception desk who was exceptional, and made sure our stay was lovely.

The feeling is that you are disturbing them, not pleasant, and very slow.

Food was good bur service was a bit slow.

The staff was nice and the hotel installation were nice as well, please don't order anything to eat at the rooms as they are very slow and the food was cold and not nice at all.
