Homeless guy screamed, yelled, cussed, different hours of night behind our room.

I had very lousy neighbors the first night and couldn't sleep.

Area is near a park with homeless people, they sometimes wander thru hotel property, be aware of your surroundings.

Loud trains over night, sirens, homeless, and aged appliances and amenities.

$299 a night was unacceptable for no maid service, no water provided in rooms upon checkin, Jet bathtub looked sketchy and room smelled like cigarettes

Shady people in parking lot and empty lot next door.

The downside was that I felt the hotel was not in the best area or neighborhood.

However, it is also located in a rather sketchy neighborhood,

Seedy area is the best description we could think of.

There are quite a few homeless people around the hotel and in the park across the street.

The neighborhood did not have anything to offer except a park with homeless people and a busy highway.

It is built like a tank with real walls so you don't hear your neighbors and the grounds were nicely groomed as was the building itself.

While there are a lot of restaurants and fast food places nearby, the neighborhood isn't inviting, we found three closed by 7pm and parking is difficult.

Too much noise breeding through paper thin neighbor walls and from the patio and on the top of that the freight TRAIN which runs all night long every 30 min!

In the mornings, you see a homeless encampment with about 20 to 30 people.

The neighborhood  was shady looking and there were lots of homeless.

There was significant train noise at night and a homeless encampment in a park across from the motel.

Rooms are VERY noisy - on 1st floor, you hear every foot step above you (every single one).

but it served as a white noise machine to block out the other noises.

However, it wasn’t until we returned later from dinner that we realized the noise we heard from the vents was t just AC.

had bathroom light fall into toilet and a waterfall from the upstairs jacuzzi, asked around other hotels I service and this is common.at 11:00pm when we were asleep, loud bang in bathroom, running water, found bathroom light in toilet, wires hanging , with water from upstairs jacuzzi, I learned to book upstair hotel rooms to avoid this from happening to me agin

Carpeting was torn and was noisy throughout the night.

but each night we were there, we stayed three nights, there was a loud pool party going on.

Air conditioning units in particular are extremely noisy, making it difficult to leave them on overnight.

There is no effective sound insulation between floors.

There is no mention on any advertisement that there is train noise each time a train comes to a nearby crossing.

Floors must be very thin, the people above my room very noisy.

but other that a heavy rain we heard no other noise after 9pm.

As soon as I ran the jets, a TON of disgusting matter shot in to the tub.

There is no elevator and the noise level from people outside is apparent.

Room was clean, bed was  comfortable, quiet room.

The room was clean, parking was easy, and the management goes over and beyond to ensure that you are happy.

Beds are comfortable and the rooms are always clean.

The rooms are clean, the grounds are well kept, they have a great jacuzzi and pool area, the rates are great, and it's just under a nice mile walk to downtown.

The pool is clean and the rooms are lovely.

The train was an issue as well that night and there was a group of people in the courtyard having a good ole time until 2am, office staff did nothing so not much sleep from that either.

Be aware this hotel is near train tracks, trains all hour of day and night! !

It was a generally quite location with a small bit of train noise,

Noisy (train whistles, day and night) and lacked daily room care.

The noise from the road and train whistles as well as the paper thin walls will keep you awake all night long.

Extremely loud train noises with horn blowing all night long & into the morning.

So I did not hear trains, as other reviewers mentioned.

The train seemed to start running during the evening hours.

The only issue that some people may have is that you can hear trains every so often,

Light sleepers might be disturbed by the sound of freight train whistles during the night and early morning hours,

Additionally, there's a train that you can hear from the room.

When the fan in the room was not running you could hear the trains and movement in other rooms.

Short drive to downtown and shops, only downside was the train noise, every train seemed to want to use their horn when passing through.

They do provide ear plugs, which I found odd until I heard the train whistle.

(staff changed rooms for us without hesitation), trains go by all night, walls are paper thin and we could hear every person coming and going.

the bathroom was filthy and with dirty towels under the bathroom sink.

The bathroom window looked directly to the outside of the room into the street because the rooms are not in the main building.

Black mold in the bathroom and a shared parking lot with a run down apartment complex.

But honestly how long are you in the bathroom (don't answer that).

But they missed on 2 things in the bathroom: there were no towel racks (and without daily linen changes, I like to dry my towels and washcloths) and we never got hot water when showering.

The first day we had to have the shower repaired and ask for bar of soap and replacement coffee packets.

We had no Kleenex and shampoo in our room.

The hotel does show its age a little with the room decor and the wear and tear on the rooms in particular the bathrooms.

Its really inconvenient when taking a shower.

Check-in was delayed 2 hours and when we were finally able to enter our room, the bathroom was disgusting with unsightly things on the toilet.

However when they're short staffed they need to adjust other details to match: more toilet paper, more coffee, and bigger trash cans.

but lots of peeling wood on the bathroom door and general dinginess.

The sink was clogged and backed up while I was out filling the bowl with dirt.

First off… I don’t need 10 emails about reviewing my stay: second, the clean signs when going into your room are no good when there is hair all over the bathroom plain as day when you walk in: third, bringing it up to the front desk was more of a “sorry about that, have a good night” than what can we do, so I requested clean sheets and materials to clean your already Covid 19 clean room again; last we had people leave due to a pool issue that took how many days to fix because they were on a work/family vacation with no status update on a fix time frame!

After the second cleaning 5 days passed and no new lining no towels not even toilet paper.

I stayed on the 9th floor and the water pressure was a trickle - really bad.

Carpet appeard to be clean, no stains or weird smells.

The rest of the room was clean as well, except the carpet should be replaced as it's old.

Dirty, smelly, with old carpets and TVs, the staff is really nice and willing to help, Im sure they would have moved me into a better room if they had any to offer.

The carpet was so dirty my husband left black footprints on the tub floor.

The carpet showed it needed better vacuuming.

From a rude Alex at the front desk on our arrival for a visit with our daughter at UA, to the 1950's Casita which had NO hot water, a fecal stained chair, ripped carpet, no outside lighting for an out of code and dangerous sidewalk.

The hallway carpet was stained and needed replacement.

The bed was not comfortable, carpets were dirty, finding a dirty towel and dirty pillow cover was not nice.

Carpets are dirty, Sheets old and lower quality.

The carpets were not clean looking either.

The tub in the bathroom took all night to drain after showering, carpet was dirty (the bottoms of my feet were visibly darker after walking on it), the TV worked sporadically, and the rooms were not sound-proofed at all (as exhibited by the events that happened on the patio next to my room at 3am one of the mornings).

Carpets are stained, bathrooms are grungy, lighting and outlets are dated.

but the carpet and furnishings are old and only so clean you can get the carpet.

They first tried to give us a room on the second floor with stained & loose carpet in the hallway and room.

The hallway carpet was very old and terribly stained and the hotel rooms are in need of an update.

The room was clean, a decent size and as we were on the ground floor, we had a little terrace.

The staff are really welcoming and the room is clean

There was enough self-parking, great chocolate chip walnut cookies, friendly employees, I didn't experience noise issues, and I had a clean new room.

We were on the second floor and immediately upon entering the room it smelled musty and my wife said it smelled like cigarettes.

Originally we got a different room that was musty and ac wasn't working they immediately got someone to fix it and gave me an option to switch rooms and made sure we were pleased.

Room was old, dirty, musky, dark, looked very old.

Vents in room were filthy and clearly never cleaned.

It is outdoor access, stairs only, dark corners and a dark parking lot with mattresses and debris littering the edges of the parking lot.

We finally took a decrepit elevator with peeling walls and walked through a mildewed and filthy carpeted hallway to arrive at our room which was fine

however, they provide the tools to help eliminate the smell.

The decor is outdated, the bathrooms in the individual hotel rooms are icky (though I heard a manager saying almost all have been redone, so maybe I just got unlucky in my room assignment), and the common areas need routine maintenance (chips in wood trim, scuffed paint, etc).

The lobby smelled like sewer and the restaurant was part of the lobby so it was hard to eat food and smell sewer.

Little downsides: my room smells like smoke and I can hear the baby crying in the next room.

but I understand people can be noisy when others are sleeping.

Our room was very dated, noisy and cramped.

The jets are covered in black , pinkish slime along with an abundance of shaved hair particles.

There was noise for people and cars outside  which was annoying

The place was old, noisy, stained, with poor fixtures and extremely poor use of space.

but I just could not handle the noise and being woken up so early each morning.

This is an old, noisy, and run down hotel.

Bathroom was not clean, lighting in room poor, toilet ran all night, diner was extremely slow, and location had a lot of noise from surrounding businesses.

Second and third night there was so much noise from all neighbors walls are so thin.

although I could not run the heater as it was way to loud AND you could see the dust caked in the vent.

Walls were thin, we could hear the conversation of folks in the next room.

The room that they gave me was directly in front of PJ's and the pool area so there was constant noise every night until 10:00 p.m.

Got fed up and called the front desk to ask them to tell the partiers to be quiet or leave!!!

Aside from getting the wrong room that was by a noisy pool and had an old blood stain on the curtains.

Being an older hotel meant noise transmitted freely from the upstairs and nextdoor.

The room was very clean and comfortable and the beds and pillows were top notch.

Our room was clean and pleasantly decorated.

The room filled with weed smell once the ac was on.

Then we get to our room which reeked of smoke despite being a non smoking hotel.

The food was cold,  stale,  and looked like leftovers.

After how many years since it’s been illegal to smoke indoors?

I spent ONE night in my socks inside and there’s NO amount of bleach that will make them white again.

My room smelled like dog pee and male armpit odor.

Plus there were several guests smoking right outside their rooms and the scent of smoke lingered into my room despite the door and window being closed.

I just wanted it noted that we were not smoking in this room.

The people in the room next to us had a loud party and were drinking and smoking outside our window.

The shower backed up immediatly and I was standing in ankle deep water and other disgusting stuff.

There was no trash can in the room, no laundry bag, no ironing board (yes had an iron), bedspread was dirty and carpet was wet upon arrival. the corridors were filthy, the walls were super thin (I could hear the people upstairs as well as the people on either side of me snoring in the nighttime.)

My fiance and I didn't realise this until we woke up in the small hours of the morning covered in sweat.

Dog food, stickers (not Disney ones either), carpet filthy feet and socks turn black.

Plus there were people smoking weed outside their roomband inside their room

The staff put us on the back side of the building as to be away from the freeway noise.

Hot tub jets not working along with ice machine on our floor.

but outside traffic kept me from sleeping and the air conditioner was even louder that I had to shut it off.

This hotel is right next to a busy highway, so expect lots of noise.

To make matters worse the jets in the whirlpool tub were mildewed and discolored.

it’s 1:50 am and my fingers are crossed that whoever is above us has finally had their way with the poor soul who was on the other end of this losers erratic pounding.

On the minus side, the room had a LOUD--let me repeat that: L-O-U-D!

Negatives were some noise in the hallway early in the morning by other guest doors being closed and loud talking.

The Bad: I'm a light sleeper so I was leery about traffic noise,

Not the best side of town, room needs to be on back side of MOTEL if you do not like highway noise, our ground floor  room had tiny invisible ants and a toilet or something running all night, walls are thin!

You could ask to be roomed on the other side of the hotel if you didn't want noise from traffic.

The location was a bit noisy, the exercise room was small and equipment was in good shape

To much noise during the night, came from the Interstate Highway in front of this location.

Freeway is loud and cannot fall asleep before midnight both times I stayed.

Although it is right next to the freeway, the noise was minimal.

Despite being next to the freeway, I did not hear any noise from it unless I was standing outside in front.

but no Highway noise was heard.We were apprehensive when the hotel said renos were underway at the hotel but we heard no noise, only saw two workers and there was no inconvenience at all.

The room was spotless and very spacious with a mini fridge and microwave that worked!

The room was clean and well appointed; all the employees were friendly and helpful; the breakfasts were memorable, and we enjoyed the hot tub on Christmas Day.

Room was clean and the amenities were perfect for this road warrior.

Open the door to our room to discover a filthy chair with grease all over it.

We looked around and decided we did not feel SAFE in the area and got back in our car and continued on to a Radisson off the 10 freeway in Chandler, AZ where we stayed in a room that smelled like smoke, had Stained Sheets and Towels, and Patched walls that had never been painted - HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE - We will NEVER stay in a Radisson again!! !

Rooms were dirty with urine on the toilet, carpets were heavily stained along with black armrests of a red chair.

Couldn’t fall asleep because the pillow reeked of cologne (not mine), finally threw the pillow on the ground and grabbed a different one and forced myself to fall asleep only to awake and hour later to ba-boom, ba-boom.

My only 2 gripes was that when u would run the water in the faucet the smell of something similar

I'm generally pretty flexible and don't make a stink about things,
