The place is decorated with refined taste ,the garden is  green and lush ,each room as an a/c and a fan .it is quiet and peaceful with excellent view of Arunachala especially from the second floor and roof top hall.there are bikes or scooters available to use by the guest which makes it very easy to move about without the hassle of having to rent elsewhere.the owner Satya is a very friendly generous and very giving individual .embodying the true heart of mother India.he also runs a orphanage for girls which is supported by the income from the guest house .by staying there you will be also supporting the orphanage .have a wonderful and a spiritually enriching experience .

The rooms are nicely equipped, the beds very comfy (important for me), the staff is friendly and very open minded, the owner very knowledgeable about the place and anything you want to know about India.

I loved the rooftop deck and it would be great if they offered movies at night and yoga classes during the day.

I accept the facilities told by other customers like books in the room, RO water for each room , hill view from GH, serene calm location etc.

There were some books in the room which we could read.

We have booked a room for two nights on 29-31st March 2013 on 30th October 2012 ie 6months back.

One tip would be to get the room name in the reservation to confirm that you have the room as they do not have numbers (Ganesha, Lakshmi, etc. ).

The garden looked lush and dis not show any sign of the just past severe summer.

I will show you your room and you just get some rest".

however the lady on reception ‘arranged’ for us to stay at a family/friend’s room in a house.

There is a small garden in the courtyard and the best thing about this place is that parts of the guesthouse profits go to a children's home founded by the owners: So all the while you have a lovely stay, you can help a kid have a better life.

It is a quiet, clean, and accommodating place to stay.

With the best view of Arunachala and a lake,beautiful garden, comfortable room and lovely people that are always with a smile.

It has a lot of greenery and a good staff.

The other staff person Vinod is very helpful and stays there in the night.

They even sent me my forgotten item in the room and they are attentive!

although the ladies there often assisted, which was very nice.

The owner has truly mastered the are of hospitality.

The owner and the staff are working from their heart to support a great experience.

beautifully decorated rooms  , the whole place has a welcoming ambience of serenity.

Nor did we receive any communication on the original booking status!!!

However, my only real complaint about the place is that there are always dirty ashtrays on the front steps, because some of the staff members smoke and that's where they do it. I do wish they would at least empty and wash the ashtrays a few times a day (hint, hint.)

With garlands of integrity placed around our necks we retraced our steps back to the car and off for a wholesome breakfast of tea and masala dosas. Yum!

They helped us with the temple darshan and also guided us on the walk around the massive mountain.

She gave me the city route map and helped me to start the Girivalam from which temple.

He is a very entertaining and informative tour guide, who brought special meaning to the places we visited.

There is a beautiful huge lake right behind the guest house where you can enjoy the sunrise and sunset every day amid the lush green farming field.

The downstairs garden area is shaded by trees, and there's an awesome view of Arunachala from the roof.

Shanti, clean, wonderful view of Arunachala and the lake, shrine, yoga hall, nature, full equipped shared kitchen.

Spacy, clean rooms and had nice morning views of sunrise and hills  from veranda.

The best part is there a clear view of Arunachala and it’s close to the Ramana Ashram.

The guest house is situated in a very serene location away from the pollution and noise and overlooking the Arunachala Hill.

One can sit and have a view of the surrounding landscape.

It is nice environment, room is spacious and well decorated, with each room a rocking chair, view of the mountain.

It is a beautiful setting, surrounded with greenery and has views of the mountain in some rooms and from the upper level yoga and satsang room; it felt like a sanctuary to me, where I could easily practice yoga, meditation and listen to the talks that were regularly happening.

Also the view to Arunachala is breathtaking.

The rooms were clean, tidy and comfortable to the point that we wished we could have stayed longer.

The rooms are pretty big, that's a plus point.

I make it a point to stay and eat only at this facility when I visit or pass through Tiruvannamalai.

Complimentary wifi connection is very poor.

Bathrooms need a deep clean to remove scale etc. Inefficient fridge only getting to 15 degrees ( I carry a thermomenter!)

I had to remove the mosquito screen at the window and wash it out  on arrival as it was thick with dust and also repair a power socket that was falling out of the wall.

but it was the rubberised kind that if you massage it with the water running through, you can remove the debris or crystallisation and get the jets working - then there was lots of water pressure.

One and only problem we encountered was slow WiFi.

Check in at the Reception was quite fast and rooms are neatly kept.

The Hotel is located at a nice place with good parking facilities, the front desk staff were very co operative and nice, the room was clean , the linens were clean, bathroom was clean.

even the young bellhop kept oogling at my wife which was disturbing.

I stayed in arpana hotel with my family.per day charges were very high.more than 5 star hotel.they charged for extra person without providing a bed.the receptionist was very particular about extra person,but least bother  about service.

They are welcoming, courteous and respectful- providing very attentive helpful service.

Location wise it falls on the girivalam route and is close to the temple.

We also took a rickshaw tour around Mt Arunachala.

Very easy access to girivalam route and Annamalayar temple.

The hotel is in the Girivalam route so that is also very helpful.

We got up early to walk the kora around the mountain and we returned around 10:30.

Some of the rooms have good view towards Arunachaleshwara hills .

The view of the holy mountain from the rooms and the menu at the restaurant are incomparable.

Great, spacious rooms with views of the mountain, superb meals and staff.

The view of the hill is unprepossessing given that it is vignetted by a landscape of shoddy flat rooftops.

My Family had the privilege to stay in Hotel Arpanaa which granted us the most spectacular view of Arunachala.

the service was top, the staff is very helpful, the view from our rooms was magnificent!

it has a balcony with a good view of the hills.

The view was breathtaking,  especially before sunrise in the morning where we sat in the balcony tor experience the view and a cool breath of fresh air.

It was so beautiful, and the view early in the morning during sunrise is just so wonderful.

Technically our room had a view of the temple Gopuram and the mountain,

Rooms are very well designed and you get a good view of the holy mountain.

The hotel room was big and very clean with a great view of Mount arunachala.The food in the restra was outstanding.

The only negative comment would be the price they charge for the water bottle.

Generous allowance of bottled water were left  each day.

There being no enclosed shower stall water from a bath tends to flow all across!

Very helpful staff ..be it Front Desk, Restaurant or Room Service.Coffee & Tea are a bit expensive at Rs 72 per cup including Taxes..Don't miss out on Herbal Water they serve in the Restaurant.

Hot water was limited and the AC was a bit noisy.

Only thing that could be better is the shower; the water was not hot enough for me.

They should improve the hot water situation and explain about the geaser to the customer.

As we came back later in the night from the temple we had to shower in cold water .

The hot water system needs to be turned on perhaps 15 minutes before you want to have a shower, otherwise you'll get a shower

but the room and bathroom were very clean and the location is very convenient to the Ashram.

Very modern, large clean rooms, ask for superior for 1500R + tax (1800R) or get the executive 2200R + taxes because they have a shaded terrace!

from the moment we arrived, we felt at home, all the staff were friendly, efficent and professional .the room was basic , large enough and very clean!.

The restaurant is clean with air conditioning.

but because we were 3people/3bedrooms, they made a discount (23$/pers), the bedroom was clean, bathroom also, no noises during the night, very well located, just in front of the ramana ashram ! !

The hotel staff is also very kind and friendly.

One thing I must say is the two security guards down the bottom of the hotel were most friendly and helpful and made the experience somewhat tolerable.

The room is well cleaned every day, the staff seem very honest and most staff are very friendly and helpful, whether you want to know where to get a good haircut or how much a motor rickshaw costs to hire.

We had booked a suite which was wonderful and spacious for 6 members.There were 2 rooms which had separate split AC.The restaurant was the best.

Food is quite good and the rooms are well maintained.

The wash room is very clean and big,except the lighting is a bit dimm.

Arunachal Giri is visible from balconies of Aakash inn and the well ventilated design allows Thiruvannamalai s heavenly air to permeate each of its well kept and tidy rooms.

The manager Srinivas is very helpful and pleasant too.

Their service with a broad smile on their faces is truly a delight.

Front Office Staff Ms Sathya is very Polite & Efficient.

We thank the entire Staff of Hotel Aakash Inn for their admirable courtesy which definitely will prompt us to visit this property for our stay during our future visits to Tiruvannamalai.

The other drawback is the TV plays only tamil channels and clarity was not great.

I visited tiruvannamalai on Oct 27th and stayed here,I used to stay normally in arpanaa or aakash But for the price which is provided its not worth,
Very difficult to park the vehicle,

The hotel is located little far away from the temple, bus stop and need a vehicle to travel.

(Got the information from room attendant, that they had a lift in the past.. due to some accident they closed it with walls.  )

Water started leaking from our ac in the middle of night, fell on the bed.

3) The complimentary water bottle (1 per day), milk powers, coffee powders and tea bags are not refilled after room cleaning . .

The room are very simple, the bed poor and the bathroom dirty.

Very nice hotel with friendly staff located in a quiet area with great view to the mountain and just a short walk to the ashram.
