It looks like the check-in desk of a far inferior hotel.

Staff was incredibly friendly and attentive and our room was immaculate.

Reservations were handled very well and the staff was truly friendly and very service oriented.

The staff were friendly enough, the pool did not look clean enough for me to want to take a dip.

but that's something that can be cleaned and charged to the guest if it happens.

Our guess is that weekdays may be slim pickings for hotel guests and they might help themselves by lowering their rates on weekdays?

I think we may have been one of the very few guests at the hotel.

but most guests are just couples because other hotels have more children activities.

the church bells go off at 6am and they tend to ring 60+ times!

If you have a car, you need to call the hotel a few minutes before so they open the gate into the parking lot.

By Tequis standards, the hotel is pricey.

If this hotel were more reasonably priced, advertised correctly and offered a fraction of the services and top quality they profess to provide, we would not have been so disappointed.

At least 6 hot plates, yogurt, fresh fruit and juices, attentive service.

The hotel grounds were beautiful, the staff was very kind and helpful, the pool area was a nice retreat.

although everyone is polite and always available to help you with anything you need it takes a long time to get anything done.

The spa is pretty good and overall staff is very friendly.

but above all, very attentive to my needs and caring for every single detail.

Staying at this hotel is a great experience because it is very clean, the staff of the hotel are very kind and helpful, the food is delicious and the facilities are in great conditions.

The place was very clean & the staff warm & welcoming & very helpful with making suggestions about what to do in town.

The people were so professional and kind that I felt I was in a five star hotel in Paris.

My friends and I occupied the room number four, it was clean, big enough for us, only we had a problem with the bathroom, because we needed to run the water until get the hot water for the shower, so I think it’s a waste of a lot of water.

Our room (5) had really low water pressure that could not be addressed.

The staff is extremely friendly and helpfull.

It's clean, pretty, relaxed, the staff are exceptional and friendly.

The only "bad" thing I could say, is that you have to wait quite a bit in order for the hot water to come out,

The owners are very nice, and it is a nice small hotel with around 10 or less rooms.

You can get to other places with "taxi colectivos" - the staff will advise.

The only negatives we found about this hotel are that breakfast is not served until 9 AM (although they will prepare something earlier, on request), and it is almost right below the church's bell tower, which starts ringing at 6 AM.

Staff is gracious and accommodating, and the facilities are safe and secure.

I cannot express how amazing the staff at this b&b is, especially la mujer de la casa.

The hotel is absolutely spotless, so well deserved congratulations goes to the excellent housekeeping staff.

although you get many blankets, you have to be fully dressed to go from the bed to the bathroom at night, otherwise, you'll suffer A LOT!!

You can choose either one floor of a house (6-8 people) or we had a room with two double beds, in a motel style block.

There only two rooms, so if you have a group of 6 people, 2 will have to sleep in the sofa beds, and they're  less width than an individual bed.The bad thing: you have to pay an extra amount if you want someone can clean the villa and to use the not so good Wi-Fi connection.

The beds were quite hard and the hills around abounded with fireworks or something that sounded like gunfire - randomly at all times.

Two guest have to sleep on the sofa beds in the living area.

The beds are rock hard and too small to comfortably fit a couple.

They would do nothing to refund the money overcharged for extra non-existent people.

The town is charming and friendly and we felt very safe.

but well set kitchen, a big nice pool and friendly people.

Just be aware to book directly with hotel as there are properties  with diferent servicié level.

They said it was the fault of the company we booked with.

AND you get harassed by a salesman at the pool while you're trying to relax. Really?

They don't have security boxes so every time we left our room we had to lock up our luggage.

If you are english speaking, ask for Monica who has some english and was very helpful.

From the time they picked us up at the airport till the time we returned to the airport at 3:30 AM in the morning we were met with professional and friendly staff.

The food at the restaurant not so good, and very small servings.

The food was so much we had to ask them to cut back the portions because we didn’t want to waste any.

plus my whole family got food poisoning from the horrible food.

The gardens are beautiful and there’s always someone making their wedding fotos or quince años pictures around. The manager has always been kind to us and that is why it’s our third (maybe 4th?)

We are grateful to the staff for their helpfulness and for their attention to every detail.

The personnel made us really feel at home, doing airport pickup, etc.

The staff was so helpful in every way and I can’t say enough good things about this place.

The hotel has nice gardens, some external architectural features that catch the eye (its reception dome for instance), and big areas for hosting different king of events (conference hall, flexible garden arrangements).

Unfortunately interiors, especially at the rooms have important improvement areas, front walls are made of thin glass so you can hear everything that happens on the aisles and on the gardens, so going to sleep early at a party o taking an afternoon nap with children outside won't be an option.

The Hotel Rio  is stylish, clean, and the staff was super helpful.

but I would request a room on the bottom floor and close to the front desk.

Rooms are clean and tidy, Wifi works pretty much everywhere, common area well looked after and staff very polite and helpful.

It's location the best asset close to dowtown, good option in Tequisquiapan.

I did not go to the restaurant, seems to be 4 or 5 stars and expensive.

A pretend to be hotel of 4 stars while deserves no more than 2.

In the fallout from the wedding cancellation, we grew concerned we might not actually have a room at the other hotel.

Writing this on our final night of an 8 night stay with our little boy.

Our 'room' is actually a villa, perfect as it means our little boy can sleep in the bedroom and we can still spend the evening together in the living area.

The Reception desk were also very helpful, with the lovely, helpful Isla helping out as translator for some of the trickier bits!

We stayed two nights in the Casa de los Milagros Hotel and found the owner "Charlie" and the staff very friendly and accommodating.

The rooms don't isolate the outside noise.

The personnel in the hotel was very kind and helpful whenever it was needed.

The staff in general is kind and accomodating,

Every night, in both rooms as they face the streets, you can hear the noise of the stands the people from the market use; is quite a noise.
