This hotel is so close from downtown, just 3 blocks, the people at front door was so nice at the check in, al is quiet, clean, the room was also clean, nice lighted with good ventilation.

Rooms are clean and tidy, Wifi works pretty much everywhere, common area well looked after and staff very polite and helpful.

I did not go to the restaurant, seems to be 4 or 5 stars and expensive.

A pretend to be hotel of 4 stars while deserves no more than 2.

In the fallout from the wedding cancellation, we grew concerned we might not actually have a room at the other hotel.

As other reviewers have noted; the bells from the cathedral start ringing at 6am, and not just 6 short rings.

My only complaint and it is of no fault of the hotel is the very loud bells from the old church next door that start ringing at 6 am and ring every 15 minutes for almost an hour.

Went with friends and HAD MY LAPTOP, IPOD,CAMARA, CELL PHONE AND CHARGERS STOLEN.

but when there was naught but tepid (and I use the word generously) water after 15 minutes of flow, I call management and was told that they would reprime the heater.

The heater makes a ton of noise so use the extra blankets if it’s cold.

However, if you do not like the church bell tolling, they provide ear plugs, because the sounds from the bells are really loud.

They were clean and certainly among the best rooms in this small town (but the expectations cannot be too high).

The Church's bells are noisy and they play Ave Maria at the Angelus time (6am).

but it is NOT only because of the ringing bells from the Cathedral.

Just be aware - the church is not far, bells ringing at night.

Did get the wake up call from the church steeple starting at 6am :(  Still, worth a stay.

The only negatives we found about this hotel are that breakfast is not served until 9 AM (although they will prepare something earlier, on request), and it is almost right below the church's bell tower, which starts ringing at 6 AM.

The stuff is very nice, rooms are clean, pool area is charming.

It is well maintained with attractive, clean rooms and well-manicured gardens.

It looks like the check-in desk of a far inferior hotel.

but that's something that can be cleaned and charged to the guest if it happens.

Our guess is that weekdays may be slim pickings for hotel guests and they might help themselves by lowering their rates on weekdays?

I think we may have been one of the very few guests at the hotel.

but most guests are just couples because other hotels have more children activities.

the church bells go off at 6am and they tend to ring 60+ times!

If you have a car, you need to call the hotel a few minutes before so they open the gate into the parking lot.

By Tequis standards, the hotel is pricey.

If this hotel were more reasonably priced, advertised correctly and offered a fraction of the services and top quality they profess to provide, we would not have been so disappointed.

Staff was incredibly friendly and attentive and our room was immaculate.

The food was so much we had to ask them to cut back the portions because we didn’t want to waste any.

plus my whole family got food poisoning from the horrible food.

We enjoyed the spacious and clean rooms, and our group of 40 people from different countries were afforded a restful and unforgettable stay.

Unfortunately interiors, especially at the rooms have important improvement areas, front walls are made of thin glass so you can hear everything that happens on the aisles and on the gardens, so going to sleep early at a party o taking an afternoon nap with children outside won't be an option.

there were mosquitoes all over the ceiling and walls, the floors and bathroom was disgusting, air conditioner doesn't work at all.

It was a bit noisy with Local's celebrating festivities around the church located behind the hotel

All rooms face onto the pool and common area so it is noisy during the afternoon.

The room was clean and a reasonable size.

My friends and I occupied the room number four, it was clean, big enough for us, only we had a problem with the bathroom, because we needed to run the water until get the hot water for the shower, so I think it’s a waste of a lot of water.

Our room (5) had really low water pressure that could not be addressed.

The only "bad" thing I could say, is that you have to wait quite a bit in order for the hot water to come out,

The rooms are very clean and comfortable, the court yard is relaxing and a great place to stay.

It was less than expected because there was no restaurant and when others came to occupy rooms it was very very loud.

The staff were so amazing, going out of their way to help us anyway they could; helping us with what sights to see and even going way beyond to see that our room was immaculate!
