We had a wonderful week mixing sporting activities and some relaxation time with trips to the mountains, boat trips to the other northern lakeside towns (from the port of Riva) and walking around Riva town.

- plenty of outdoor activities next to the hotel e.g.

An amazing hotel the two bed apartment was fabulous for our family of four and the boys loved the games room!

For the kids, the sailing center was really easy to book activities with ( try for the morning time as Lake calmer).

The property is well situated for water activities, hiking, running, biking, and also access to shops and restaurants in Riva.

The pool, miniclub, playground were great for the children.

Wonderful hotel with lots of opportunities for activities for example, boating on the lake or cycling around the locality.

Lots of facilities to suit what ever you wish to do, with all sorts of sport facilities.

Lots of activities are available and it is located a short stroll from the main town.

Within walking distance to other small towns and activities within the town.

The area has a fantastic selection of sport activities, water, cycling, walking, climbing etc.

The position on Lake Garda is perfect for walking, cycling & a variety of water sports.

There are a lot of lovely hiking trails nearby and there are loads of options for water sports or cycling adventures.

Just incredible, stayed as a family of four looking for relaxation and plenty of activities for teens.

Nice hotel, good location, great sailing club and sports equipment, great food near the pool.

Staff are excellent and quality of facilities and activities for kids is great.

The WiFi was brilliant (we were able to watch movies on our laptop in the evening, and the kids could play online games on their devices), the rooms were kept immaculately clean, the staff were wonderful and the nearby town, Riva, just a short walk along the coastal path, was both beautiful and great fun.

We went sailing, paddle boarding, kayaking, and cycling.

It’s location was on the edge of the lake and not far from all the amenities & sports facilities.

Kayaking from the sailing club was fantastic! We really enjoyed breakfast in the roof terrace- excellent service, beautiful view and delicious choice of food (Nutella crepes were a winner with the children!)

1) Whilst the cleaning of the rooms was very good, the public areas needed some attention.

It is also worth noting that, as the northern part of Lake Garda, and in a mountainous area, the weather can be more mixed than south Lake Garda.

We have stayed here for many years and love the surrounding beautiful park area and easy access to the beach and any easy walk into Riva.

During the high temperatures this Summer, there were enough trees around the pool area to provide ample natural shade .

We were looking forward to the beautiful setting by the lake and were not disappointed -- the area is truly stunning, the grounds lush and immaculate.

If you’re visiting the area do not miss Du Lac et du Parc!This place is a must to take ur experience to another level.

We ordered take out lunch from the Grill every day, which you can take to the pool or your room (our bungalows were just next to the pool area).

Every area in the resort was spotless and as the title of the review states, there was something for everyone.

Most beautiful gardens and spa area and right on the lake.

All the public areas are kept in pristine condition and the gardens create a peaceful ambience.

They have great facilities, a choice of pool areas and superb garden roof top breakfast.

The resort garden is very well kept and has several areas of interest from the pools to the lakes and layout.

The spa area and indoor pool were clean and well attended.

Excellent chef and restaurant staff, Lovely gardens, clean rooms and communal areas.

Good to have the spa area inside as well after an active day out in the mountains.

Du Lac et Du parc is brilliantly situated with the Hotel separated from the lake by beautifully maintained gardens which also contain the pool area.

We enjoyed our stay there, we would definitely recommend to stay there, great views from the hotel area.

The included breakfast was excellent and had a lot of choices.

Great amenities, beautiful well landscaped grounds, great bathroom toiletries, incredible breakfast buffet, modern rooms, comfy bed and shower, great staff, free garage, and wonderful staff.

Car parking at the hotel was plentiful and the staff were extremely helpful.

We were half board and really enjoyed the food at breakfast and in the evening.

In this room there is a delicious herbal tea.

The food was fabulous- both breakfast and evening meals.

The hotel dining area overlooks the lovely grounds , and it was a pleasure to have breakfast in the morning in a hotel overlooked by beautiful mountains .

Breakfast was incredible, among the best we've had at a resort.

The food is delicious and all the staff are very pleasant and helpful.

The breakfast on the roof-top with the view on the mountains and the Lake is a very nive!

Food was delicious and breakfast featured made to order eggs, pancakes and our favorite, crepes.

but we really enjoyed Caffe alpi (Torbole) for a lovely breakfast on our way out of town.

The views and the property are a beautiful getaway experience.The hot tub outside our room was fun for the whole family and the breakfast options were plentiful and loved by all (plus the view was amazing from breakfast!)

The room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean, the breakfast selection was one of the best we have experienced.

Fantastic breakfast with loads to choose from and again really friendly and helpful staff.

There were many restaurants, with outdoor seating available on the narrow streets, adding to the atmosphere.

Riva Del Garda is a town at the top, north, of Lake Garda.

This is an adventure seekers dream location with everything from sailing, bike riding, etc right outside your door.

It’s very well located in Riva, around 15 minutes into the town centre

The hotel is in a great location with everything in Riva on your doorstep.

We apprecieted welcome package for our dog :-) We loved our brand new bungalow - very good location (in the middle of the resort between two pools).

The location is excellent with a modest walk to the town along a beautiful lakeside walk.

A superb location in a stunning part of the world .

The location for us was perfect with a 10 to 15 minute walk to the harbour/ town.

Great location by the shores of Lake Garda for both a short break or holiday.

Location perfect right on the lake, spent many evenings walking into RIva town centre which is about a 20 minute walk round the lake.

The value for money was poor related to what the additional 800 euros could have purchased at the other hotels or from the A La Carte menu in the main dining restaurant.

The absolute basics for a hotel in terms of being able to sleep (impossible with the noise), breakfast (poor quality), cleanliness (dog mess close to where children are playing) are not met.

but you may also receive the poor service we did.

This poor service extended to check-in, which

but it was poor in terms of rich and variety.

The TV signal needs adjusting for British channels as most channels either didn't work or had a very poor signal so gave up trying to watch the TV.

Bungalow was a total disappointment with its poor design/layout and antiquated furnishings.

Very poor customer support from desk to the manager.

We made use of the indoor pool, gym and spa area when the weather was poor.

We were disappointed as a couple to find two single beds pushed together, for the price we paid, this was really poor and below average.

Room was a bit sparse and wifi connection was really poor.

We did relax, suffered poor rainy weather

We ate there on one occasion and the food was very poor.

I did not think that this was confusing as it was not called out on the rate that I selected on-line, whereas some rates included ( free use of the spa" 

In summary I would therefore suggest that the value for money was lacking despite this being a lovely hotel.

but if one is paying 5 star hotel prices and given 4 star accommodations then there is a disconnect.

We were there for our 2 friends 30th (group of 4), hence we paid more for the hot tub room.

but sensibly priced base from which to explore Lake Garda and the Dolomites then this couldn't be better!

Also there was no subsidised rates for watersports for hotel guests.

There are less expensive options in the area

After our stay upon check-out at the reception, they charged us double the price as seen online!

Again for this price, I expect some variance.

We booked late so it was very expensive for us,

Yesterday we also found out that this swimming pool is only for German people there is the question is German people pay more money for the swimming pool or what?

but be warned, No Balcony, 0.4L Lager 6 euros and Gin and Tonic 14 Euros.Asked for a balcony and said 150 Euros a night but after negotiation lowered to 50 Euros a night, obviously too expensive.

We ate in the bistro one wet night and it was fine, if maybe lacking a bit in atmosphere and a bit pricey, better to take the easy stroll into Riva which adds the atmosphere!

Hence if the full price would have been applied I would say that the place is way too expensive.

but… If You wanted to iron anything – You must go to some other building as it’s not allowed to do it in the room :D
- Late checkout: Late checkout available only at an additional fee, which is half the room price. - TV: In 2019, the TVs could have apps (like Netflix, YouTube etc.)

*canteen-standard evening buffet food, some options unavailable and shockingly expensive for the quality provided [40 euros per head]
* in general all eating options not included in the price were expensive and there are far better [and cheaper] options in Riva del Garda old town.

but 5th and 6th floors in the main building are rather expensive.

We only wish we would have had more time here the old town square had a lot going on each evening and a lot of places to eat.

but there are also shops and restaurants local to the hotel.

The restaurant staff and bar staff was brilliant and I must make a special mention of Ernesto in the main restaurant who took trouble to speak to us every day with a warm welcome and was very super nice to the children, enquired if everything was satisfactory and taught us some of the language with fun as we tried to speak Italian correctly.

The food is very good and all the staff here are extremely helpful.

The restaurants were amazing as was the wine!

It lived up to all our expectations for accommodation, food and entertainment.

There was also a bar and two restaurants that we didn’t use.

The views from the room were so incredible and we really enjoyed being able to order room service and  eating on our balcony while the baby was sleeping!

We also ate lunch onsite a couple of times and this was great too.

The staff at reception and in the restaurants were all friendly, attentive, and helpful.

The rooms are equipped with everything you need.

The hotel was exceptionally clean and the housekeeper who looked after our room and corridor was charming.

We recently stayed as a family of 5 in one of the elite suites and absolutely loved the rooms.

There are technically 3 bedrooms, of the 1 of the rooms is perfect for a nursery/baby

They even found a room for me to stay in when we missed our flight home .

We had a lovely lake view room with a balcony.

The best they could offer was 2 seperate rooms on the same floor, suggesting to keep 3 kids below 10 in a room alone!

Clean rooms and bungalows, nice personal, great fout en parking pl e for you car.

All the staff were helpful and friendly, particularly Bella who took great care of our room every day.

The room was very comfortable overlooking the gardens and mountains.

Our room was excellent, with many nice little touches.

Carlo at the front desk helped us with everything.

The staff really need a mention:
From the reception to waiters to cleaning staff always pleasant and attentive and go above-and-beyond.

It is al a carte 4 courses - varied daily over the week which was excellent, food on the whole was very tasty & most importantly the staff and chefs were very accommodating to dietary changes and flexible especially with kids.

The staff was very helpful and friendly nothing was to much trouble.

The most efficient route up to Riva takes you on a toll road which costs €4 from Verona.

The staff are all amazing, they cannot do enough for you!

The genuine kindness of the  reception staff, of Orlando in the dining room ,  and Joy our  lovely cleaner in room 455 was priceless.

Being 2 days into a 4 days stay I would like to warmly recommend this excellent resort!

The staff are dedicated and friendly and committed to making our stay enjoyable.

The gardens are wonderful as a place to chill with something for everyone, the food was excellent with very helpful staff.

You chose your evening 3 course meal from a menu left on your breakfast table each morning and you were allocated a table on arrival which you had for the week.

Only 1 member of staff, a waiter at breakfast and dinner, was attentive and really good.

Fine selection of cold buffet for breakfast together with omelette and egg station alongside bacon selection.

The breakfast on is huge and the my have a massive offering of hot and cold breakfast.

Stayed at this hotel 5 years ago food not as good as before no afternoon tea and cake no vegetables served with eveing meals you could get vegetables on buffet

Breakfast ( or dinner) on terrace beside pool is lovely.

Fantastic hotel with a heavenly pool and massive breakfast.

Food was pretty good too, especisally breakfast.

The previous review does not match our experience at all - showers were great and breakfasts fabulous with a wide choice of foods served buffet style (including eggs both cooked and raw so they could be cooked to your own wishes).

I resorted to smuggling UHT milk back from the breakfast

The cuisine at both Breakfast and Dinner is very good, the choice is excellent and the wine list is extensive.

Food - the evening meals are varied and delicious - I think you’ll only struggle if there’s a certain menu one night that doesn’t take your fancy.

3rd time we have stayed at this hotel, staff are very helpful and friendly, food is amazing, we had a room on the 5th floor with a lake view, fabulous, owner very attentive always making sure all is ok. Will definitely be back, love being served at the table for dinner, more relaxing than buffet.

The breakfast is Excellent and they also provide an Afternoon tea with cakes and pastries included.

Lake Garda is an amazing place even in high season I would definitely come back and to the Savoy Palace , it’s immaculately kept and people are kind and friendly and believe it or not it’s not too expensive.

Staff were friendly and super-helpful, Stefano went above and beyond with help and directions for an area we were keen to visit and nothing was too much trouble for anyone.

The staff on reception and in the dining room were all so helpful and friendly and couldn’t do enough for you to make your stay enjoyable.

Our first time to Lake Garda as a couple in their mid sixties who love holidays.

Arrived at this lovely hotel and lovely area for a weeks holiday, myself daughter and her friend.

but as a result it has a traditional feel and the staff do everything they can to make your holiday enjoyable.

They have gone above and beyond and I can safely say that those two have really made the holiday special for us - they don’t stop from their 3pm start to midnight - excellent ambassadors for the hotel, which is very lucky to have them.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone new looking to visit Lake Garda, you will be impressed and have a great vacation.

This was a last minute break, proved to be a brilliant decision.

Thhis was our 4th visit to this resort and hotel after a 2 year break due to covid.
