but the bath and shower were not particularly great.

It would’ve been nice to have a glass panel on the side of the shower to avoid spraying water all over the toilet,

but the bathroom wall spearing the next suite was very thin.

The airco was very loud, the shower was broken, the toilet did not flush properly, the bathtub could only be filled very slowly with lukewarm water.

Room  light not working, no cups in bathroom, no toiletries.

although all were different in size & furnishings/appointment, with the only gripe most of us had was it literally took 10 minutes to get warm water coming out of the shower head!

The rooms were very basic, no amenities at all, hot water hit and miss and no water pressure.

but – no shower gell or shampoo or others said hair dryer.

The walls in the bedroom had chips in the render, and some of the bathroom tiles needed regrouting.

Turn left to a huge bathroom with a shower, toilet, bidet and double tub (bath) (with Jacuzzi jets which we didn’t try because the wiring in Morocco scared us a bit,

The bathroom was also the largest we've ever had in a hotel.

however the staff is very friendly and can find you just about anything you may seek.

We loved the architecture, the gardens, the quiteness, the friendly people, and the spirit of a past age.

The wifi works pretty well in the room  and the staff are helpful and friendly.

Dinner and breakfast were nice, and the service was attentive and friendly.

The staff are friendly and the food good if not remarkable.

Banks  with helpful friendly staff, ATMs, barbers ,grand taxis,  eye boggling fruits and vegetables, workshops with fine crafted furniture, lots to see and occupy.

The staff were wonderful, friendly and made us feel very welcome during our stay.

The staff connected in an extra router to give us better Wi-fi which was helpful.

Service-
With exception of the lovely, welcoming woman who worked in the breakfast room, everyone else we encountered was borderline surly and unpleasant.

but the owners need to realise that most of us now rely on decent WiFi.

but the best is the staff in the restaurant.

Waiters who served dinner and breakfast were very unfriendly.

We had a lovely lady look after us for breakfast & the usual Moroccan fare was served.

Dining in the Pasha's great reception hall was a wonderful experience and a member of staff showed us round and told us all about the previous owner, the uncle of Queen Margarethe of Denmark!

A small staff has do the work which must have been taken care of by dozens in the past.

Wi-Fi is available only in the reception area.

The staff were nice and the setting is the best that we has during our stay in Morocco.

All seemed very well cared for, rooms clean and perfectly comfortable, the staff were helpful and pleasant, *despite our pretty hopeless French), even if they are not exactly effusive.

WiFi, as ever, is best used in the reception.

but the manageress really came into her own leading the dancing when a musical group got into full swing - hugely disarming energy and exhuberance.

The Riad was a functional stopping point on our tour around Morocco.

Facilities-wise, it was the nicest hotel of our tour.

A group of five of us stayed here on a Photography inspired tour of Morocco.

When my tour group arrived the place was empty, which made the place seem more magical.

We spent New Years Eve here as part of a cycle tour.

The setting is fabulous and a great stopover on a lot of tours through Morocco.

I stayed at Riad Hida for 3 days,(2 Nights), as part of a  tour at the  New Year.

Days were spent at the splendid pool, also some time in nearby saffron centre Talouine, and in Ouled Beril, both villages worth a trip, and give a sense of present day Morocco away from Agadir.

The Riad Hida was Top Trip Advisor hotel in Taroudant,recently overtaken by Dar Zitoune.

Even if there are walls and fences around the estate there are a lot of people wandering around the garden and pool.

Various puddles appeared and the walls in the bathroom turned a darker shade due to wetness.

The village of Berhill lies outside the walls.

Don't be put off by the approach road - once inside the walls you won't want to leave!

I am an early riser and there was at first no hot water – after running the shower for quite a few minutes it arrived and then less than half way through the shower went away again – invigorating

It takes a good few minutes for the hot water to arrive out of the tap, so long in fact, we were convinced there was no hot water;  only to be proved wrong by a very patient member of staff.
