but the bath and shower were not particularly great.

It would’ve been nice to have a glass panel on the side of the shower to avoid spraying water all over the toilet,

but the bathroom wall spearing the next suite was very thin.

The airco was very loud, the shower was broken, the toilet did not flush properly, the bathtub could only be filled very slowly with lukewarm water.

Room  light not working, no cups in bathroom, no toiletries.

although all were different in size & furnishings/appointment, with the only gripe most of us had was it literally took 10 minutes to get warm water coming out of the shower head!

The rooms were very basic, no amenities at all, hot water hit and miss and no water pressure.

but – no shower gell or shampoo or others said hair dryer.

The walls in the bedroom had chips in the render, and some of the bathroom tiles needed regrouting.

Turn left to a huge bathroom with a shower, toilet, bidet and double tub (bath) (with Jacuzzi jets which we didn’t try because the wiring in Morocco scared us a bit,

The bathroom was also the largest we've ever had in a hotel.

We had a well priced and delicious chicken and olive tagine for dinner.

Breakfast was served indoors at our request the night before (it is cool in October) and was a pleasant departure from the typical breakfasts we were served each day.

It was so nice to have breakfast and dinner near the gardens with all the peackocks around.

Peacocks dance during breakfast and donot hesitate to come close to you.

Best is the staff and the great breakfast.

Waiters who served dinner and breakfast were very unfriendly.

We had a lovely lady look after us for breakfast & the usual Moroccan fare was served.

The rooms were beautiful and clean, the gardens seemed to be never ending (as was the supply of citrus fruit growing everywhere for guests to enjoy) and the meals were delicious.

Breakfast on  the patio outside the sumptuously decorated dining room is a true delight.

Dinner and breakfast were nice, and the service was attentive and friendly.

Take your fab breakfast on your private terrace .

All of the food came in huge delicious portions and the Pacha suite is beautiful and reasonabley priced.

Breakfast consisted of cearals and toast, meats, chesses and jams all served in mini tagine type dishes.

The waiter did his very best and the breakfast was good.

Diner and breakfast were absolutely lovely

It's a really lovely place,a true palace, and even at this time very sunny every day,(though we heard all about the torrential rain of the  previous week), and a great treat to eat our breakfast, and a splendid breakfast it was, on a sunny terrace, at the turn of the year.

We ate at the restaurant both evenings (breakfast was included) and the food was good local fayre.

The Riad was a functional stopping point on our tour around Morocco.

Facilities-wise, it was the nicest hotel of our tour.

A group of five of us stayed here on a Photography inspired tour of Morocco.

When my tour group arrived the place was empty, which made the place seem more magical.

We spent New Years Eve here as part of a cycle tour.

The setting is fabulous and a great stopover on a lot of tours through Morocco.

I stayed at Riad Hida for 3 days,(2 Nights), as part of a  tour at the  New Year.

Days were spent at the splendid pool, also some time in nearby saffron centre Talouine, and in Ouled Beril, both villages worth a trip, and give a sense of present day Morocco away from Agadir.

The Riad Hida was Top Trip Advisor hotel in Taroudant,recently overtaken by Dar Zitoune.

Even if there are walls and fences around the estate there are a lot of people wandering around the garden and pool.

Various puddles appeared and the walls in the bathroom turned a darker shade due to wetness.

The village of Berhill lies outside the walls.

Don't be put off by the approach road - once inside the walls you won't want to leave!

I am an early riser and there was at first no hot water – after running the shower for quite a few minutes it arrived and then less than half way through the shower went away again – invigorating

It takes a good few minutes for the hot water to arrive out of the tap, so long in fact, we were convinced there was no hot water;  only to be proved wrong by a very patient member of staff.
