After ignoring us and standing at the computer for a couple more seconds, matthew slammed my credit card and ID on the counter refusing a room.

They charge a hefty security deposit and don't credit it back for days.

Fridge didn’t work my food went to waste because of it  and the whirlpool was dirty the whole point of me staying was because of this specific room and I had housekeeping coming in on me didn’t let me know details of my stay as far as check out time pool hours or what’s included with my stay and I was charged a deposit fee I wasn’t aware of when booking this room.

Natalie at the Front Desk helped us turn a bad situation into a good one after someone at the Seminole Hard Rock Casino made an error and didn't make our reservation as a complimentary stay and instead, set it up as a charge of $239 per night.

Then  I discovered that the fees for the room were frozen on the first debit card.

Also, the credit/debit card authorization method  does not obligate your funds, which is extremely convenient when traveling.

To their credit, they did have a maintenance man attend to my concern.

My credit card was charged for the two rooms.

although, they charge a fee which was a bit costly.

Front desk help was arrogant and unapologetic about the errors in store pricing or their practice of charging sales tax on "all items".

I called on Sunday to dispute a charge a "no show" email I received and was told by the front desk they would research it and have their Regional review and would get back to me the same day if not, no later than the next morning.

but I was charged 5 overdraft fees of 30$ because of it, and the managers could not give me an answer as to why.

The only drawback is when you buy Busch Garden's tickets from them they want to charge you $20 to shuttle you there.

The next morning I found that the room had been charged to my debit card and I had no one

Her job is not to check in the front desk she is in charge of house keeping.

Ok, billing was very poor, my credit card was charged double !

$5.00 is the charge for the ATM in the lobby., that is absurd.

Going to the bank tomorrow to dispute the charge.

To my surprise the hotel had debited our account also.

When I asked if they could FED-EX it to us at my expense the general manager did call back & agreed to charge my credit card

Checked in and the first thing we noticed was the smell of the room.

Upon opening the door to our room an overpowering stench of mildew greeted us.

First room smelled so badly of mold and cigarette smoke (despite being assured that all rooms were nonsmoking) that we requested a different room.

The room stunk like insecticide,  bathroom looked like it was from the 70s, and the front door was bent with no security latch.

The Staff Were Friendly and Very Accommodating, They Made a Note on My 2nd Stay, to Give Me a First Floor Smoking Room, Because There Is NO Elevators in this Hotel, it was Very Difficult Dragging Up All My Luggage to the 2nd Floor on My First Stay there, The Stairs are Open Cement Stairs and Are a Safety Issue.

but he was very helpful trying to resolve it(i booked a smoking room instead of a nonsmoking room for my first night stay).

Horrible mold smell for all over the room.

It was a stuffy smelly room with one treadmill, stepper and weights.

but for some reason the whole room smelled like chlorine and mildew.

When I walked in the room you could smell cleanliness.

The room stinks a cigar, terrible for whon has asthma, that was very disgusting.

Unfortunately, not her fault since she isn't the manager, our new (second room) smelled weed because people were smoking outside in front of the room air conditioner intake and all the "flavors" were going inside the room.

The no smoking policy was clearly explained at check in

Only drawbacks were the room rug being a bit dirty and damp, and the bathroom door sticking shut and needing paint.

The room was old and dirty smell so bad the air conditioner was falling apart.

Mildew and molded filthy nasty and unsanitary I wouldn’t never recommend to know one the staff warmed food behind the front counter to refill the bar.

was offered a room, wife opened the door and immediately stepped back due to a musty smell.

Bathroom floor was dingy, room had funny smell, refrigerator was leaking water, door to the room did not feel secure.

The carpets were filthy- had to rewash your feet before getting in bed.

Ant trails in room and bathroom attacking the soap bars and a trail on table in room, bathroom smelled a little like pee.

People will be smoking on the hallways and growing trash everywhere.

Broken ac unit that leaked water all over the floor, shower head with no pressure that pointed towards the wall and couldn’t move it.

The air conditioning is a bit loud when it cuts off and on.

but still they persist in spraying fragrance in the A/C vents, hallways, lobby, etc.

Broken AC, Coffee Machine, Sink, over charged $79.

The air conditioner vent is as loud as an airplane engine.

Oh, and the air conditioner in the room was LOUD.

1 minor thing was the air-conditioning is right above the room on the roof, witch made a loud noise at night. .

The AC was crazy loud - like, turn up the volume from 15 to 25 when it kicks on.

The one detriment is that the AC units in most rooms are very noisy.

The air conditioning unit is incredibly loud!

There was so much scent it was like the housekeeper sprayed an entire bottle into the A/C unit.

feather quilt on the bed was too heavy for this part of Florida and the air conditioner was so noisy that I had trouble sleeping (and I am not a light sleeper).

The agent reassured me I would not be charged a cancellation fee because of this unprecedented situation.

Shooting down the block and tried to charge me for not keeping the reservation !!

When I contacted the hotel, the person I spoke to said that we had been charged the correct rate.

I guess you can make double on the room by charging a night penalty and have someone else stay in the room for an additional amount effectively doubling your money in the same 24 hour period.

This place charged me $1,420 for my $651 room .. one of the workers at the front desk “accidentally “ put a hold on my debit card for $710.99& also the original cleaning fee of $60.00 so they held $770.00 during my stay which was my vacation money .. was told “nothing could be done about it” until the following Monday when it would be put back on my card …

$12 a day for parking and water bottles were charged.

The reason I'm writing the review now instead of when I leave tomorrow is because I don't want to forget to give credit where credit is due.

Our only glitch was there was a $20 charged added to our room,

They over charged me $79 and I'm not sure If it was even fixed yet, it look 3 people to try to adjust my invoice they are not trained properly.

Upon reserving, ask as many questions possible (charge for incidentals, use of cash for payment of rooms, what the actual nightly fee is).

Seemed more like we were charged in hope of not realizing it.

They charge to park if you can find a spot.

I typically stay at Hampton Inn properties due to the balance between room quality and cost.

The only way I know my charges is from my credit card statement.

but elevator operated without key card including from lower parking garage late at night.

Parking is not always easy to find, and you are charged $10..

The hotel requires key card use for external doors as well as elevator which makes it harder if traveling in a larger group.

They charge $10 a night to park car. Ouch.

The rooms were very clean, the beds and pillows were extremely comfortable

We had an issue with noise due to construction and cleanliness.

he apologized profusely as the construction was not supposed to begin until 9:30 AM.

Lastly, at about 6;30 to 7:00 am after a restless night, construction crews resumed their renovations on the hotel with nailing, sawing, and drilling.

Overall its a good place and the manager wrote me an email about the construction and no room service.

The building next door was completed, which was better than my last visit, since construction didn't start at 4a like before.

Much better environment now that there is a clinic next door instead of the old dirt construction lot (for years).

A LOT of construction around the property.

Prices should be reduced when there is construction like this and guests should be notified.

Also awoke to construction noise right outside my window,especially the backup beeping at 7 am.

They started construction at 5:30AM some days which was noisy.

Plus there is a building under construction next door - it is almost completed and I did not hear a lot of noise

There was some construction behind the hotel.

After driving nearly 2 hours from Orlando, the hotel was amid massive construction from a neighboring site.

I never heard any noise from the construction next door

This construction was LOUD, with banging starting early in the morning each day and waking us up.

There is construction going on around hotel so during the week that may be a noise factor.

Also construction workers are able to look into the pool area

Upon arrival to the hotel the room was no longer available which was disappointing as I usually go for high floors and this room was far enough  from the elevator and overlooked the pool.

Elevator certifications were expired by 5 months, and 1 of the 2 elevators wasn't available most of my trip.

Mold on vent in room, elevator was broken for a day — it would bring you up,

The front desk people were not very friendly or helpful, the elevators are really slow both going up and going down; I waited around 5 minutes or more for the elevator every time I went to use it.

Only drawback was that one of the two elevators was broken causing delays in the morning.

I was at the end of a long corridor, fairly far from the elevator,

Got to room and it was across from elevators (which was not a problem), I don’t remember hearing them thru the night.

The person who checked us in advised us that we would be on the second floor and advised us how to get there on the elevator.

but I did call to make sure i obtained a room not near a elevator or stairs so maybe that is the trick, I don't know but it was a blissful night of uninterrupted sleep.

even though this was a near empty hotel they put us next to the elevator.

but was a little surprised to find a hotel garage without an elevator.

Outside of one of the elevators not working all week, which was annoying as I was on the 6th floor, this is a very nice place to stay.

The elevator was being used by guests and staff, so it stayed busy.

but if we're nitpicking - the elevators can be pretty darned slow, zero shade in the pool area (right next to the giant construction site next door), and to get to the bed adjustor, you have to lift up the fitted sheets.

Only knock is to make sure you call ahead to make sure construction is not ongoing, and all elevators are working.

My room was on the first floor not too far from the elevator and I was still able to get a good nights sleep.

One of the two elevators were broke both days of our stay and the one functioning elevator was quite noisy.

When I checked  in I was told where the elevator was and my room number.

As for the hotel itself, the lobby is inviting, my room was clean and the bed was marginally good.

I had no issues at all, bed was comfy and room clean.

We were in town for our dad’s interment and all three rooms were spotless and well maintained.

Super clean room and as always a dream nights sleep on a comfy bed.

The rooms were clean and the breakfast was very good.

Bulbs out, tub dripped, toilet ran, no cord on room phone.

Air conditioner made loud noises, tv turned off by itself and paint in bathroom was peeling.

but there was no wifi and no breakfast if your plane leaves early.The staff were indiferent and unwelcoming and the room interior was very tired, especially the bathroom.

Bathroom was dirty and was very small with the toilet seat wobbly and loose.

This was a really unpleasant day, dirty rooms, broken toilet water on the floor Bruce Betty on working AC units.

It smelled like stale smoke, outdated decor, black mold on the bathroom tile, and I did not feel comfortable walking on the carpet or bathroom floors without shoes.

Stained carpet with holes, closet door falling off, and a very nasty bathroom!

There was some strange mat in the bathroom that made you wobbly about when in the shower.

I did not get clean towels or shampoo or coffee on the second day of my stay.

Room had roaches in the main room and bathroom walls.

There were ants in the bathroom and the paint was peeling on all of the walls.

Carpets stained, paint peeling in bath, etc., Exterior access to rooms enabled partying to occur, and other issues with noise, not leading to a good night sleep.

Carpets were filthy and had stains in multiple areas, Very basic amenities and bathroom tub was stained and outdated.

The furniture in the room was in very poor repair, there was mold in the shower, the walls in the room need a fresh coat of paint and several of the electrical outlets were rusted.

With stale smelling room, none working bedside light, phone dead, no wifi at all, this property is worse than the dingy place anywhere in the world, Europe, Asia and the North America.

THEY IGNORED THE NOTE AND TRIED TO ENTER (They knock and simultaneously key in, pushing the door open a couple of inches because it was stopped by the interior privacy locking device I had engaged)  EVEN THOUGH THE  DO NOT DISTURB NOTE WAS ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE DOOR AND EVEN THOUGH I HAD YELLED AT THEM THE 2 PREVIOUS TIMES THAT I WAS STILL SLEEPING AND HAD UNTIL 11 A.M. !!!

Hotel not updated in anyway and rooms badly worn.

The carpets are stained and dirty, old shabby furniture and not at all what the pictures look like.

The rooms are old and poorly maintained with ratty/torn window curtains and cheap/worn furnishings throughout.

Also the place is rather worn out and pool didn’t look very inviting.

The walls in the bathroom has hand prints on the walls and doors needs to be painted.

The rooms are very worn and look very dirty.

Check in and check out process was very fast and easy, no hidden fees, very clean rooms, lobby, pool and grounds.

The rooms are clean the ice machine worked.

The room was clean and everything worked.

Our room was clean and bed was comfortable.
