A room where I could have have parked my car.

No gaps to park the car in Gap a very busy town we had a drive and walk in the mountains during our 2 night stay.

The property is out of Gap by a few kilometres so you'll need a car.

That being the case I was a little puzzled why they put us in a small garret of a room with a small window view over the valley.

The staff were all friendly and attentive and the relaxed atmosphere was exactly what we wanted.

A great team of very young staff will welcome you and look after you, all friendly and very helpful.

Well appointed contemporary rooms situated on the hillside of Gap in a lovely setting, warm friendly staff and very welcoming.

The staff really make this hotel because each of them are so friendly and genuinely care for your comfort and go out of their way to satisfy each guest.

The proprietors are hands on and looking to make sure all is running smoothly and this really does show as they run a great team of friendly professional staff.

The staff are charming polite and helpful and enhance the experience, highly recommend the whole experience and we hope to return next year and extend our stay to allow us to explore the lake and surrounding area and use the restaurant as it was so good.

After dinner we sat inside and the staff made sure we were more than comfortable.

The accueil was perfect, the young men at the reception was precise, very kind and helpful.

but were very welcomed by very dedicated personnel, who accommodated our room to our convenience.

The owner of the place doubles as chef in the cosy restaurant and I had the impression that most personnel were his extended family and friends.

We were in Gap for a week doing research on my family and really enjoyed the comfort and friendliness of the staff.

He was professional, courteous and genuinely interested in our experience at his hotel.

however due to the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff - they really are very friendly and personable.

On arrival the staff were friendly and efficient, checking us in quickly, offering to run out and obtain food for us from a local takeaway and fitting the car into their car-park.

The staff are friendly, the rooms clean, everything works (including the lift) - cannot fault it.

It's always been clean and  friendly and this year they have made a number of service improvements which makes that difference.

Positive points were the quality of the staff - they could not have been more helpful and friendly - the location, which is very good, close to the centre, and the quality of breakfast, which was varied and well presented.

All the staff I encountered were both friendly and professional and the housekeeping was to the group's usual high standard.

Although the hotel rooms are not that impressive, the staff is friendly and capable.

The hotel was very comfortable and within in easy walking distance of the centre of Gap whilst also being on one of the main roads through the town  Unfortunately though, the hot weather made sleeping very difficult as there is no air conditioning in the rooms,  We had a fan and were told to open the window

The hotel is close to the town centre and there are several good restaurants within walking distance.

The location is dead center in town, great for visiting the many good restaurants and bars in the vicinity.

The room (we had a grand comfort room) was spacious and comfortable at a very reasonable price in the centre of Gap.

Many years ago we stumbled upon the town of Gap and wanted to revisit.

We had booked this hotel for this evening as we are visiting my husbands Mum who is dying in the hospital in Gap.

As there isn't too much choice in Gap, this is a good place.

Good location just outside the pedestrianed area of Gap, just a couple of minutes walk to bars, restaurants and shops.

We received a map of the town and enjoyed exploring Gap that afternoon.

Would definitely recommend to stay here if you want to explore Gap with a lovely local marche on Saturday at the doorstep.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Gap.

This is a good, quiet, clean, safe, and convenient choice for exploring all that Gap has to offer.

It is a perfect location from which to explore the city of Gap.

the corridor between the room is dim with dark color, must change.

It has also a small entrance, so no noice from the nearby elevator nor from the corridor could be heard.

We had chosen this hotel based on their internet Comment about their well sound proofed rooms and we also had learned about the Contact Network of hotels earlier in our vacation.

He told us about the market not far away, at the start of the old part of the city, so we were out enjoying our holidays, walking along cosy streets.

In the morning the smell was better, I could smell the croissant from the breakfast room !!

A relaxed atmosphere and a highly knowledgeable host made it one of the best stops on my trip!

We didn't realize we were coming pretty late; the receptionist waited only for us, thank you.

We stayed here for one night.The concierge was very helpful and gave us a good deal.We stayed in the family room on the 4th floor.It was very quiet.The room was very spacious and plenty of room for a couple with 2 children.The double room was separate from the childrens room

duplex apartment was clean and large enough, breakfast is good too and the team is nice.

Excellent room with aircon suited us perfectly, the very pleasant and helpful staff and good breakfast choice every day were also good for our taste.

Good value, pretty spacious bedrooms and en suite shower rooms, fantastic proper beds, quiet rooms, efficient check-in, a nice self-service continental breakfast, a restaurant and bar in the same building for evening meals after 19:00 (but not cheap), spotlessly clean, powerful WIFI, all well maintained and at a great location a minute from the junction of key Alpine routes.

Staff at check-in were great - I arrived just before 8pm and they had just been about to leave my key by the front door to make sure I could get in & then let me keep my bike in my room.

The hotel reception is between the hotel and apartments so you can walk directly into the hotel corridors.

Folks skydive to the field so we got some great photos of the colorful chutes with mountain backdrop.

Drinks in the bar were a reasonable price and the service from staff was good.

The staff were incredibly helpful, room lovely - great shower and balcony overlooking the pool.

If the rooms had baths and some English speaking TV channels, this hotel would get the perfect 5*.

Eat in the breakfast room (doubles as the bar) or on the pleasant terrace.

The room was great, the parking right in front, the front desk super friendly and helpful  There is a Total gas/store within a block.

Was greeted by a very friendly young lady who spoke good, if halting, English.

While the location is a bit out of Gap, this was a wonderful hotel.

Gap is close to beautiful mountain ranges, so consider making this your base camp!

Easy to find off the main road through gap, the staff were helpful and allowed us to park our Harley motorbikes securely overnight in view of reception.

Free parking in front of this comfortable hotel on the edges of Gap.

The next time I pass by Gap, I shall come back!

Conveniently located off the main road just south of Gap.

We stayed at the Avantici as a stopover en route to Geneva -- nice and calm room, the team even provided some glasses to help us enjoy our wine.

The staff is extremely gentle and paying attention to your needs (thank you!).

I got a large room with a view on the garden.

Room was serviceable and clean with decent internet coverage and a view into a freshly mowed garden.

The owners were extremely friendly and helpful.

We were here outside the season, only 3 rooms were taken, still we got a small room on the backside with no balcony.

The hotel has all you need for a pleasant stay: a warm and smiling welcome, a quick check in-procedure and a clean room with good beds and bathroom.

The front desk was welcoming and served us soft drinks when asked

Recommended with love don't think twice.

Didn't think it was the friendliest place, we didn't eat there which seems to make the place for other travellers

Biggest disadvantage is missing air condition,

It is conveniently located, it has enough free parking and the owners/staff are very friendly.

Mr. Rachid was especially kind and helpful.

Nestor Hotel

(My personal favorite: La petite maison de Willy, if you are in the mood for pizza and a friendly atmosphere).

The reception is closed at night and you need a code to open the gate and hotel door.

I liked the night security, after reception closes, the doors lock and you need your room code to enter.

Several restaurants at walking distance, and not just the fast-food chains you would expect in this kind of industrial suburb.

Staff were good and helpful and the whole hotel very clean.

We were positively surprised about the cleaningness of the room and the kidness of the employees.

B&B Hotel Gap

The owners are so very friendly and the chalets are spotlessly clean.

the hosts ( nice couple) were really helpful for everything, they know what activity to propose etc. .

We were warmly welcomed by a friendly lady and allocated perfectly adequate rooms - partially painted purple!

Pleasant friendly staff, small trendily furnished room tastefully decorated.
