The sloping ceilings are a bit of a nuisance.

Hardly any to open up a suitcase and hang clothes The room was cramped and uncomfortable.

With the king bed already there, these additional beds meant there was almost no floor space left.

I was in Gap for the first time and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

however due to the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff - they really are very friendly and personable.

On arrival the staff were friendly and efficient, checking us in quickly, offering to run out and obtain food for us from a local takeaway and fitting the car into their car-park.

The staff are friendly, the rooms clean, everything works (including the lift) - cannot fault it.

It's always been clean and  friendly and this year they have made a number of service improvements which makes that difference.

Positive points were the quality of the staff - they could not have been more helpful and friendly - the location, which is very good, close to the centre, and the quality of breakfast, which was varied and well presented.

All the staff I encountered were both friendly and professional and the housekeeping was to the group's usual high standard.

Although the hotel rooms are not that impressive, the staff is friendly and capable.

They more than made up for our poor French and found that their English was very good.

but then the breakfast bar type arrangement was occupied which put a  guy's bottom  level with our table, we moved to what is called an outside  terrace, just a paved area at the back of the hotel, overall our dining experience was very poor.

The Ibis is just perfect for what I want, secure free parking, pleasant bilingual staff, free high capacity WiFi and a good breakfast.

Our room was pretty small for 3 persons and only a small window.

Rooms at the front can hear the noise from the road when the window is opened

but the traffic noise was so constant throughout the night that we ended up shutting the window and putting up with the heat instead.

the hotel is in the old town, the staff was friendly and helpful.

Staff very friendly, bed was ok, they have a private parking very good.

Prices are very reasonable, between €52 and €72 per night, and the hosts are very gracious, welcoming, and friendly.

WiFi didn't work and we were asked to pay cash.

I asked the Receptionist why the a/c was not working and he said that it was not needed as it would get really cold in the evening.

We had to leave the hotel at 3:00 AM for a flight from the Lyon airport, and he wasn't able to understand my request for a wake-up call (and our own alarm clock was broken). But we got ourselves up at 1:00 AM okay.)

In the morning the smell was better, I could smell the croissant from the breakfast room !!

A relaxed atmosphere and a highly knowledgeable host made it one of the best stops on my trip!

We didn't realize we were coming pretty late; the receptionist waited only for us, thank you.

We stayed here for one night.The concierge was very helpful and gave us a good deal.We stayed in the family room on the 4th floor.It was very quiet.The room was very spacious and plenty of room for a couple with 2 children.The double room was separate from the childrens room

duplex apartment was clean and large enough, breakfast is good too and the team is nice.

Excellent room with aircon suited us perfectly, the very pleasant and helpful staff and good breakfast choice every day were also good for our taste.

Good value, pretty spacious bedrooms and en suite shower rooms, fantastic proper beds, quiet rooms, efficient check-in, a nice self-service continental breakfast, a restaurant and bar in the same building for evening meals after 19:00 (but not cheap), spotlessly clean, powerful WIFI, all well maintained and at a great location a minute from the junction of key Alpine routes.

Staff at check-in were great - I arrived just before 8pm and they had just been about to leave my key by the front door to make sure I could get in & then let me keep my bike in my room.

The hotel reception is between the hotel and apartments so you can walk directly into the hotel corridors.

Folks skydive to the field so we got some great photos of the colorful chutes with mountain backdrop.

Drinks in the bar were a reasonable price and the service from staff was good.

The room was great, the parking right in front, the front desk super friendly and helpful  There is a Total gas/store within a block.

Was greeted by a very friendly young lady who spoke good, if halting, English.

The furniture is not of very high standard

We stayed at the Avantici as a stopover en route to Geneva -- nice and calm room, the team even provided some glasses to help us enjoy our wine.

Easy to find off the main road through gap, the staff were helpful and allowed us to park our Harley motorbikes securely overnight in view of reception.

The staff is extremely gentle and paying attention to your needs (thank you!).

The owners were extremely friendly and helpful.

We were here outside the season, only 3 rooms were taken, still we got a small room on the backside with no balcony.

The hotel has all you need for a pleasant stay: a warm and smiling welcome, a quick check in-procedure and a clean room with good beds and bathroom.

It is conveniently located, it has enough free parking and the owners/staff are very friendly.

Only drawback was that on arrival tags room smelt of drains.

Mr. Rachid was especially kind and helpful.

There is no signboard with the name of the hotel visible from the street.

The reception is closed at night and you need a code to open the gate and hotel door.

I liked the night security, after reception closes, the doors lock and you need your room code to enter.

Several restaurants at walking distance, and not just the fast-food chains you would expect in this kind of industrial suburb.

Staff were good and helpful and the whole hotel very clean.

We were positively surprised about the cleaningness of the room and the kidness of the employees.

Room was clean, is okay in an area with not a lot of hotel choices, However, we had to wait 40 minutes to check in as no employee at the desk, when he did come no apologies or explanations offered.

We were given one with 3 bedrooms and a bathroom.

The owners are so very friendly and the chalets are spotlessly clean.

the hosts ( nice couple) were really helpful for everything, they know what activity to propose etc. .

I drove past it three times, then ended up parking in the supermarket carpark behind it and walking over, where the nice lady at reception explained how to reach the free parking in front or the hotel carpark itself.

When asked at reception they said that they had been removed as often spilled by children and that we could have coffee free at reception if we wanted.

Excellent breakfast, good parking, friendly staff.

All staff I encountered were polite, friendly and helpful.

(We found long hairs every day and we are 3 guys)

Pool is very tiny

but only one flat pillow each asked for more at reception but request ignored.

Too expensive folks, could have it cheaper elsewhere, the atmosphere overall wasn’t that great , probably I will return or not , the hotel was chosen because of the location mostly !
