it took them almost 40 mns of questioning about us, the rooms configurations, breakfast and different sort of points despite the fact that the online booking was clear.

The hotel is located on a busy road, though to be fair the double glazing cuts out the noise, the staff in the restaurant need some serious  training, we ordered drinks and our meal, after some time the drinks did not arrive, we chased the waitress and were told the drinks were coming, our meal arrived first, followed by the drinks, the advertised plat du jour was cold meats, which we were not informed, the seating arrangement in the restaurant is poor, we choose a table

This Ibis hotel is everything an Ibis hotel should be: clean, well-located, and affordable.

but rooms very small, bathroom clean and our room at back was quiet although other members of group had problem with rooms being way too hot with not much help from staff on cooling them down.

The rooms were nice and clean and the hotel was well situated.However we felt that some of the reception members were inquisitive and unwelcoming in their attitude.

It's always been clean and  friendly and this year they have made a number of service improvements which makes that difference.

The Ibis Gap is like most other Ibis hotels - simple, clean and usually with a good service.

The room was clean, and the bed had a medium firm mattress.

We loved the minimalist yet sufficiently comfy Ibis.

but we found it to be really comfortable and got a really good night's sleep before continuing our journey to the South Coast of France.

We had a room at the back which was quiet and as ever the beds are very comfortable.

New bedding is quite comfortable and had no problems with the room at all.

but the current changes have made a difference including mattress toppers which makes the beds exceptionally comfortable.

There new beds are praiseworthy in terms of comfort - just the thing that a major hotel group should be investing in.

We have just stayed for the one night, at the Hotel Ibis, and could not fault the Hotel, our room was on the top floor, two beds, very comfortable.

The reception was friendly and we were given a map of the town which is reached within 5 minutes walk.

I was in Gap for the first time and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

however due to the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff - they really are very friendly and personable.

On arrival the staff were friendly and efficient, checking us in quickly, offering to run out and obtain food for us from a local takeaway and fitting the car into their car-park.

The staff are friendly, the rooms clean, everything works (including the lift) - cannot fault it.

All the staff I encountered were both friendly and professional and the housekeeping was to the group's usual high standard.

Although the hotel rooms are not that impressive, the staff is friendly and capable.

They more than made up for our poor French and found that their English was very good.

but then the breakfast bar type arrangement was occupied which put a  guy's bottom  level with our table, we moved to what is called an outside  terrace, just a paved area at the back of the hotel, overall our dining experience was very poor.

This is a standard Ibis hotel, with reasonable restaurant.

This hotel is in Gap - there must be 60+ restaurants and bars just a 3-5 minute walk away.

We loved the breakfast and the breakfast area (restaurant) typical of Ibis decorations.

Excellent and very helpful staff with some very good restaurants about a 10 minute walk away.

Given its location and that I didn't want to drive, I also ate in.

Charming hotel located just a few kilometers from Gap was an excellent find.

Very quiet and beautiful location outside of Gap.

Les Olivades is situated outside Gap, in a large garden.

Because it's situated outside Gap we decided to have dinner at the hotel.

We would recommend to all our friends travelling to Gap.

So as you can guess we'd recommend Les Olivades if looking for a great place to stay in the Gap area.

The location is within the small cyty of Gap in a convenient and quiet place.

We were in Gap for a week doing research on my family and really enjoyed the comfort and friendliness of the staff.

We decided to book a hotel in Gap to break up the drive from Annecy to Nice.

Beautiful quite area just out of Gap town center very friendly and helpful staff.

A well presented hotel on a hill side overlooking Gap.

Hotel Les Olivades is conveniently located close to Gap from where you can visit the region and enjoy the great landscapes and walks.

but this is a good hotel if one needs to be near Gap.

but as I mentioned, Gap was bursting with no accommodation within 20km due to the Tour!
