Smelled like a smokey, stale, musty old Atlantic City casino.

Our room was musty and the floor flooded.

Other issues such as the cigarette burn on the ottoman, the broken furniture in the room, and waiting over 45 minutes for a bath stopper that never arrived are annoying.

The last room smelled like someone had been smoking in it.

Floors are sticky because they didn’t mop, they just spray disinfectant on the floor and it has built up.

There was no microwave in my room to warm it up. Disgusting!

Rooms are dark, carpet is dirty and room has a smell.

If anyone has ever been around anyone that smokes, one knows that it sticks to your clothing so maybe that's what he was smelling.

Poor maintenance of smoke alarm batteries went off at 1am.

Maybe they're hoping you don't notice the dirty towels, linens, pillows and disgusting stains on the drapery.

but first put in a room that was clearly a smoker's room.

The rooms seemed outdated and had kind of a musty smell.

And, more importantly, the room smelled fresh and this is not the newest hotel.

but each time I rolled over the smell of chemicals either bleach or something was very strong.

Once you get beyond the sadness of that, the room was musty and difficult to cool down.

My room smelled musty and no air conditioning.

First of all despite booking a non smoking room, I was given a room that smells of smoke.

I checked rates online the day in question and the 2 bed rate was $119/night.

At the reception one trainee asked help to check us in from another lady by name Maya.

The hotel is all suite property with spacious suites, kept very clean, pet friendly, and has an attentive and hospitable staff!

There was a super sweet lady making omelets.

Shout out to Sunny, who accommodated us and went above and beyond the call of duty!

There wasn't anything wrong, in fact the staff were very nice.

The bartender was clueless on what liquor to use for mixed drinks, and the french fries were frozen fries for a very pricey hamburger.

When we arrived, it was crowded and hectic. My son was getting married, and the front desk was a "madhouse."

but acknowledged that it doesn’t state what the modification are.

The staff misinformed my family of the time the pool was going to be open.

She is a perfect example of a manager who cares about her employees and guests!

it took the very few helpful people to make them pick me up once they did.

The management and staff could not be more helpful and polite.

The maintenance man was helping and didn’t deserve the tone or attitude.

Waited an hour for a van that's supposed to run every 30 minutes.

When I arrived at the airport the shuttle wasn’t there and we had to wait for more than 20 minutes.

One couple had been waiting in the dark, grungy garage for over an hour.

After 24 hours of traveling I had to wait another 3 hours at a basically closed airport for them to pick me up and take me to my car.

Then when we found that we would need to wait four hours the front Desk made us feel welcome and we waited in the lobby will access to internet .

Then had to wait 50 minutes for the shuttle to take us to Dulles.

We waited for 30 minutes (with a toddler, car seat and 3 lg bags) and no shuttle arrived.

If you have all the time in the world to wait go with crowne plaza what a joke

Me&my friend were so exhausted &frustrated after hrs of waiting to get our misplaced luggage.

Once I got to the hotel I was told the shuttle would leave soon by the booth person, and waited a few minutes.

Waited another 30min and called again getting anxious because of how cold it was and still no sign of the hotel van.

Had a chance to look around while I waited for my car.

I waited more than half an hour in nearly freezing temperatures as other hotel shuttles came and went twice before he Crowne Plaza shuttle arrived.

although we had a bit of a wait on arrival.

Finally, 45 minutes later the shuttle shows up and we are all frozen from standing outside waiting so long.

At times it was faster to walk up or down 5 flights of stairs than to wait for the elevator.

For example, we waited ages for the shuttle and ended up taking a Taxi.

Is $25 worth not waiting possibly 40 mins.

but you have to wait for them to delivers microwave to your room! Seriously????

The interior needs help the place needs a complete refresh and update corners are dirty in the elevators carpet is wrinkled and stained in the hallways.

Over all the hotel is falling apart, wallpaper pealing all over the place, stains in the ceiling tiles and carpets in common areas, DIRTY ass elevators and

However, last month I broke my ankle and I was put in the farthest possible room from the elevator and also staff refused to deliver breakfast to my room - I literally could not walk so I hopped all the way down to the lobby multiple times.

Between these, and our previous stays, it appeared that some redecoration was being done, and what I believe were new pieces of art, in the hallway, between The Cardinal, and the elevators, looked great During our first night, one of the elevators was out of service,

Rooms are arranged in a half circle with elevators at the middle.

They were playing on the elevators and running around everywhere.

but there are only elevators in the center of the C and at one end.

Even the hallways and elevators were dirty.

A few things that could improve with the renovation:
*Lighten up the hallways
*Additional working elevators and less "hot" lights in elevator.

this was at 8pm, elevator was shutdown until after 1am.

I missed my morning shuttle because one elevator was broken and the other one didn't come.

Only one elevator was working, Sunny at check in was excruciatingly unprofessional, requiring me to find my reservation number and Hilton Honors number despite my giving him my driver's license.

Only one elevator was operating in the central bank, and the floor and linens felt slightly humid,

One last thing to note: it appeared one of the elevators was broken (there was only 2 near the lobby area).

The hotel needs maintenance, the elevators dispalys zz as the floor number and the Gym equipment needs to be fixed.

The elevators are very slow, so expect to spend time waiting during busy hours.

Free shuttle to the airport, safe parking for your car, excellent restaurant and very friendly staff If your trip is at least two weeks long it’s actually cheaper to stay at hotel and park your car here then to just park it at the airport.

We have two small pups and small child with us and we preferred to check out right away when we smelled mold in room and pet pee smell.

but now they are charging for self parking.

but since they charge $400 a night, charging extra for the parking makes us think carefully before coming here again.

Ultimately I brought it to the managers attention she told me she apologize and that she would take care of it there would be no charge.

Make sure you pay attention to charges made on your credit/debt cards.

They failed to mention the $100 credit on our account until check-out.

If my credit card had not already been charged, I’d check out and leave right now.

We had a slight mix up with dining reservations and front desk provide a credit for the inconvenience without asking for anything.

The lady at checkin needed my credit card.

but it was not a good experience and would like to get compensated for this room charge if possible-thank you for sharing this review with the leadership

but  as much as they charge a night, the rooms need an upgrade.

This was frustrating because I had to contact the resort and now wait for my credit card to be refunded.

When I was charged full price on checkout, I inquired about my expected discount and was told there was none. It felt like a "bait and switch."

The charge was corrected after bringing it to their attention.

Only word of caution is with the bar -- several in our party were overcharged for things they didn't ask for.

Then for breakfast (again only because of dining credits) we got take out thinking we'd avoid bad service. .

They are charging pre Covid rates with 60% of the hotel closed down.

Cons:
The $40 surcharge for a rollaway bed was too steep for us to take advantage of.

The hostess was friendly as well as the girl giving me a tour of the area  The technicians for my massage and pedicure were amazing.

The staff throughout the resort were excellent and very friendly.

Jen at the front desk and Cristiane at Piedmont restaurant were both terrific - friendly, patient, helpful.

When we arrived, you had to either pay for parking or pay for a valet, which seemed odd to me considering the price per room.

What resort makes you pay for parking using an app in the parking lot?

And we were still charged $32 per night for resort fees.

Only downside is that we have to pay for parking now which was new.

The hotel is starting to show its age and rooms should be updated, especially considering room rates.

The deal is: the closer to the entrance, the more expensive it gets.

We never had issues in the past until we arrived this time  and learned that we now have to pay for parking.

$1K/day for hard beds, slow hot water, frozen fridge, no microwave, backwards installed sink, crooked shelves, dirty tile in hot tub, overpriced spa, Thanksgiving meal so so.
