People who stayed at the room next to me had their phone alarm ringing at 5 am and that woke me up as well.

The telephone had clear encrusted dirt on it.

She gave me email address  conciergeprinc@hyatt.com and said if we don't hear back to call WOH again to get the 20K points.

I made a call to the front desk at 11:20pm to ask when the wedding party would be clearing out, to which I was told that the party would be over at 12 midnight.

but no one was available to take my call.

called front desk 4 times no one answer the phone.

But by then, the large party that had been there all weekend had departed, the parking lot was only 1/4 full, so I packed up all my stuff (groan) and tried to call the front desk.

The seal to the refrigerator is hanging off, phones not working.

but felt worn and in need of a polish: my towels had stains on them, the room was incredibly humid and some of the furniture was very knicked and both the phone and bedside lamps didn’t work properly.

They wouldn’t call the night time manager to verify the story they basically just shrugged off our concerns.

When the restaurant was not answering the phone, the front desk took the order over to the kitchen and our food was delivered to our room within 30 minutes or less.

At that hour, I was not going to call down and ask for someone to come fix it, or make a room change (we had an 8am flight anyway).

Of course, this was five days later and not once did the housekeeping department call.

We’ve gotten several prank calls and none of which made sense.

Manager didn't even have courtesy to call and apologize when reported.

She proceeded to hang up the phone on me after a very rude exchange.

The only downside is the breakfast buffet food is severely overpriced and very tasteless.

but the food…although tasty…was extremely expensive, and there are no other restaurant choices within walking distance 9There is a coffee house near the front desk that has sandwich options. But for someone like myself with food restrictions, this was not a good option.)

We could not find a cheaper price on any other website.

Definitely not worth the money paid for the accommodation.

Shouldn't at the time of billing they should have checked that breakfast has been charged?

however, is isolated, and this means that there is little alternative to the Hyatt Regency Princeton's overpriced food and drinks.

but not much other food offered except for the restaurant that was a little overpriced but plenty of food in the area.

Elevators were scary and old, price of food outrageous and the manager was very rude.

If they want to attract locals from Princeton, they should try better price points.

For the expense, we were disappointed that the pool hours had changed and the room cleaned only every other day.

Hotels are charging 2019 prices for 2020 service and screaming about how hard it is for them.

I was erroneously charged an extra $40 for an accommodation fee, and didn’t realize the fee until I ran my credit card and saw the print out bill.

As is the norm post-Covid, services are reduced to the bare minimum, while maintaining or increasing prices to offset the effects of the pandemic.

Had to rate it 4/5 stars because of the cold pool.

but extremely disappointing for the price.

Beyond that, they were very rude and unapologetic when informing me, stating the new penny-pinching policy was clearly written on their “Welcome Letter” AKA the piece of paper they hand you once you’ve already booked your stay and paid them.

The answer of every question was “you can talk to the manager tomorrow”..very short silly answers with a weird accent I didn’t understand most of it..had to repeat the answers for me each time..was supposed to stay here for 5 nights two rooms..waiting for tomorrow morning to check out and go to a 3 star Marriott which is much cleaner and professional and less cost..

Very beautiful and the staff was very kind.

We felt welcomed upon arrival, our room was very clean, the gym and the pool area were exceptional.

The staff could certainly be more accommodating and approachable, which would enhance the overall guest experience.

but the courtyard really makes this hotel a standout.

Upon arrival, the rep told me the envelope was for me, together with all the check-ins.

I called the front desk, and they said they would ask people to leave.

but the staff service was  fantastic (third time staying at this property) and a differentiator.

The staff greeted me with a smile when I arrived and the restaurant staffed were very accommodating of all my dietary needs.

Had to host an event and was pleased with the prompt service which was provided.

We stayed at this location as it was the host hotel for the Nam pagent.

The front desk and Market staff were also great.

On the upside, the dinner restaurant staff were friendly, helpful and prompt.

I used the desk in the room to get some work accomplished, friendly front desk and nice hotel.

but the chemicals used for cleaning floors, carpets and etc wished to be lessen with strong chemical  scents or use more mild natural cleaning which would help a lot for respiratory issues travelers.

but they seem to use essential oil diffusers that release strong scents into the air.

I requested a different room and help when I discovered disgusting blood or food stains on the bathroom walls, in addition to the hardened and encrusted toothpaste glob that housekeeping didn't bother to clean on the bathroom door, and they denied me.

The 6th floor (the executive floor) smells awful, making it fell like a budget motel.

I travel a great deal both business and leisure and was so incredibly “warmed” by the presence of a scent fragrance to “remove the carbon of smoke or smoke related products to that of yes, “baby powder”…that I had to remark to my family…”what magic and miracle is this?

Other items, no fridge in room, mold, leak in ceiling and generally dirty facility.

My first room smelled like cigarettes and it turned my stomach into a knot.

My room was dirty, smelt like urine and cigarette smoke, called for a blanket never received it.. tons of children in the pool, couldn’t even use it, lobby was taken over by guest celebrating their holiday, lobby was dirty, I felt like I was in the hood:

The strength of shower water is weak and drainage is poor .

The elevators were creaky, slow and dark (light bulbs were burned out).

We had to book a last minute, late night reservation due to the room reservation we initially had for the Holiday Inn Express in Cranbury, NJ being so nasty, smelly, had bugs and disgusting that we couldn’t stay.

The front desk staff seemed surprised that we would want our rooms to be cleaned and beds made.

Always welcoming and accommodating to any needs.

butts all over and debris both on the staricase/landing and some not so clean spots in the room.

There’s a smell… just a nasty smell in the room… probably from the not working A/C and bits of mold around it.

They gave run down dirty and smelly room to extended stay guests and when you check out, they charged you an unreasonable amount of money.

We get into the room and notice immediately the room smells like it has not been aired out in quite some time and that the carpet is already torn up and that the couch is already stained up and looks like it needs to be replaced.

Yet our room reeked of smoke and had cigarette burns on the night stand.

Bathrooms were disgusting with hairs on the floors and urine stains on the door.

Our 6 year old burned herself pretty badly when turning off the water during this last stay.

I was told, they are allowed to be outside as there is no smoking in the rooms.

The oatmeal tub was disgusting with oatmeal all over the tub, lid and counter.

The two negatives were that the one bedroom suite had an awful smell.

We check in around 8pm on our way to the rooms there were 2 men approaching us with beers in their hands you can smell the alcohol in them asking if we need any help with our luggages also asking all sort of questions like where are you from and how long are you staying here etc.

There was bird poop in front of the entrance door.

However, the chair sounded like a whoopie cushion when you sat on it, the fridge had a horrible odor and the stove had burn marks.

She was welcoming and described hours of breakfast, the pool, gym etc.

The General Manage made it seem that she was doing us a great favor and this was a terrible inconvenience to her and the rest of the staff.

Even the attendant at the front desk was aghast when I showed her the bathroom pictures.

I felt SAFE and the Sonesta staff never complained while meeting this phenomena head on.

Very clean beautiful property great front desk staff and location the suite was spacious and clean - housekeeping should get big time credit for keeping the property fresh and clean my favorite hotel in Princeton! !

We booked two adjacent rooms connected by a door which could be opened up.

but the larger door to the bathroom did make it a bit awkward, so I don't know how someone in a wheelchair would cope.

Around 2pm came back to room, housekeeping was next door and came out, hadn’t done our room so told them we would leave for a while.

The doors of the rooms around me were so loud it was like giant bolts of thunder each time one closed.

Also the couple next door were talking very late into the night and the walls must be paper thin because I could not fall asleep cuz of their mumbling all night.

Anyone else can walk in the door, go to my room with no interruption.

Bathroom door didn't close and was unclean.

First, the hotel is under construction- they are remodeling the main entrance area, and you have to access the hotel through a lateral door.

but room 1412 is across the hall from a lounge and the door slamming every few minutes all evening/morning, chatting and laughing as they entered/left and bumping into my door with their luggage kept me from getting any sleep after my flight from England and before my meeting (the reason for my trip)!

From the moment we pulled up to front door, everyone could not do enough to help us.

but the parking lot while big is a bit of a walk away from the front door.
