We were greeted with warm cookies and refreshing water.

All of this was packaged in the standard DoubleTree charm, including helpful staff and the signature cookies.

Told us to come back whenever we want for more cookies!

Since I've stayed in 3 other Doubletrees in NJ within the past 4 months and have gotten cookies, can't use pandemic as an excuse.

The hotel was amazing as all double tree are the warm cookies upon arrival are just a cherry on top to the greeting received as I checked in at the double tree in Princeton NJ .

From checking in where you get your famous Doubletree chocolate chip cookies to the amazing amenities in the room this is by far the best hotel around .

although parking was tough to find, I was welcomed with some delicious warm cookies and fruit infused water.

Love the cookies and rooms are comfortable.

The chocolate chip cookies were warm and tasty and the staff in the executive lounge were extremely welcoming.

Noice executive lounge, good choice of breakfast options in dining room and executive lounge.

Executive lounge is a big plus..I like having this available for breakfast afternoon snack after work and any time for coffee.

The executive lounge was definitely the highlight of the hotel.

My favorite part about the hotel was the executive lounge.

Being on the 6th floor and having access to the executive lounge was good.

I did enjoy the executive lounge for honors members.

The executive lounge was private, quiet and relaxing.

I also booked the executive room so I could have access to the executive lounge, as I visit Hilton properties frequently and find it a nice addition.

The executive lounge was an added bonus as was the warm chocolate chip cookie upon arrival.

I was on the executive level so had use of the executive lounge, which was very nice.

but since we had access to the executive lounge, this was not an issue for us.

.. the lady serving breakfast - sorry cant remember her name - at the Executive lounge and Robert the same place kept us staying.

They moved the lobby furniture into an area for their own use and were allowed to use the executive lounge on floor six as a child care center (it looked pretty over run whenever we saw it) which resulted in additional days of closure for other guests.

The hotel provided amenities such as bus shuttle service within 5 miles, full buffet breakfast throughout my weekend visit (normally I would have had access to the Executive Lounge,

I asked for the manager to call me so I could discuss my concerns and 3 days after checking out he has not called me.

I call the front desk they and let them know.

I could not get anyone to call me back or tell me if the bugs were bed bugs.

Call request for towels went unfulfilled or ignored.

Again the front desk attempted to call the GM Mr. Girgis and yet again no reply for days.

The lamps in the room had outlets to charge your phone (no other outlets near the bed) and mine was broken so I couldnt charge my phone.

Since we could not contact the front desk I had to call corporate and they couldn’t reach them either.

We called to ask when they were coming next and they said we had to call to get a pickup.

My room phone rang all night  staff said it was a mixup and laughed.

It was so bad I nearly rang for assistance.

Poor business center (if you even have to call it such) had to ask for paper to print boarding pass.

Being too tired to call for housekeeping and in our sleeping attire, we just went to sleep.

We let it ring with no answer and called mutiple times.

But I arrived late and when I called the hotel nobody answered my phone and I had to book it online.

One front desk was on phone while guest on line to check in. Two.

For the first time as a traveler I received a phone call asking me if I was satisfied with my room!

Then I called the front desk five times over a 20-minute period hoping someone might actually pick up the phone to set the wake up call.

There were a lot of us in the room and when we requested more towels, there were delivered within 3 minutes from calling!!!

Clean, quiet and good proximity to any downtown Princeton University locations.

She also took time to give me input on where to eat since we had our niece who was on her college tour of Princeton University.

This is very close to Princeton university and you are able to take a right onto the 1 to get to the school.

This hotel was only 4 miles from Princeton University as well as a lot of Restaurants that were close by on  US 1.

We selected the Double Tree because it offered a convenient shuttle to visit our daughter at Princeton University.

We stayed this hotel first time for the two nights on early October when we attended Parents Weekend program at Princeton University where our son started as freshman from 9/26/15.

The room was clean and comfortable, as was the rest of the property.

Well, the room was clean and large, as well as the beds were firm.

The positive: the staff was friendly, welcoming and helpful, the room was very clean and the beds were VERY comfortable.

The room was immaculate, the scent was warm and inviting and the staff per usual via the Kipsu (digital concierge) at the top of their game!

The lobby was so clean.The rooms where spotless and yummy beds.

The room was clean and the food was pretty decent.

I have always been pleased with the service and the cleanliness of the rooms.

Outside of the paper thing walls, the room is clean and comfortable, and the customer service is good.

I requested a different room and help when I discovered disgusting blood or food stains on the bathroom walls, in addition to the hardened and encrusted toothpaste glob that housekeeping didn't bother to clean on the bathroom door, and they denied me.

The 6th floor (the executive floor) smells awful, making it fell like a budget motel.

I travel a great deal both business and leisure and was so incredibly “warmed” by the presence of a scent fragrance to “remove the carbon of smoke or smoke related products to that of yes, “baby powder”…that I had to remark to my family…”what magic and miracle is this?

Other items, no fridge in room, mold, leak in ceiling and generally dirty facility.

My first room smelled like cigarettes and it turned my stomach into a knot.

My room was dirty, smelt like urine and cigarette smoke, called for a blanket never received it.. tons of children in the pool, couldn’t even use it, lobby was taken over by guest celebrating their holiday, lobby was dirty, I felt like I was in the hood:

The strength of shower water is weak and drainage is poor .

The elevators were creaky, slow and dark (light bulbs were burned out).

We had to book a last minute, late night reservation due to the room reservation we initially had for the Holiday Inn Express in Cranbury, NJ being so nasty, smelly, had bugs and disgusting that we couldn’t stay.

Complimentary breakfast exceeded our expectations!

Our room was very comfortable for 4 people, the complimentary breakfast is great if you have hungry children with you!

The breakfast was the best complimentary meal we had at any hotel.

Quite a good breakfast and there was a complimentary dinner when I was there that was also good.

Now if you are an experienced Hampton Inn guest then you know about the complimentary breakfast.

Free breakfast (good, safe options) AND free dinner (so-so) & drinks.

They have free dinner and beer during the week and free breakfast every morning.

The complimentary breakfast was very good.

Excellent hotel, knowledgeable staff, clean rooms, good complimentary breakfast, nice pool and patio area with a bbq.

The rooms were clean; any additional services needed were tended to immediately, decorations celebrating my Princeton Tiger were all around making our special family visit feel very warm and inviting!

With a hotel filled with families and children for two nights the staff did a fantastic job keeping the entire hotel clean and neat.

The Princeton Hyatt is convenient if you work in Carnegie Center or have family or friends to visit in Princeton.

After waiting a year, our family was able to gather and celebrate the beautiful life of my dad.

We finally ventured out after being fully vaccinated and saw family in the Princeton area.

Don't make me call the front desk and then I get leftover linens and no comforter.

Finally I called at 3 am to get the voicemail of management.

People who stayed at the room next to me had their phone alarm ringing at 5 am and that woke me up as well.

The telephone had clear encrusted dirt on it.

She gave me email address  conciergeprinc@hyatt.com and said if we don't hear back to call WOH again to get the 20K points.

I made a call to the front desk at 11:20pm to ask when the wedding party would be clearing out, to which I was told that the party would be over at 12 midnight.

but no one was available to take my call.

called front desk 4 times no one answer the phone.

But by then, the large party that had been there all weekend had departed, the parking lot was only 1/4 full, so I packed up all my stuff (groan) and tried to call the front desk.

The seal to the refrigerator is hanging off, phones not working.

but felt worn and in need of a polish: my towels had stains on them, the room was incredibly humid and some of the furniture was very knicked and both the phone and bedside lamps didn’t work properly.

They wouldn’t call the night time manager to verify the story they basically just shrugged off our concerns.

When the restaurant was not answering the phone, the front desk took the order over to the kitchen and our food was delivered to our room within 30 minutes or less.

At that hour, I was not going to call down and ask for someone to come fix it, or make a room change (we had an 8am flight anyway).

Of course, this was five days later and not once did the housekeeping department call.

We’ve gotten several prank calls and none of which made sense.

Manager didn't even have courtesy to call and apologize when reported.

She proceeded to hang up the phone on me after a very rude exchange.

The only downside is the breakfast buffet food is severely overpriced and very tasteless.

but the food…although tasty…was extremely expensive, and there are no other restaurant choices within walking distance 9There is a coffee house near the front desk that has sandwich options. But for someone like myself with food restrictions, this was not a good option.)

We could not find a cheaper price on any other website.

Definitely not worth the money paid for the accommodation.

Shouldn't at the time of billing they should have checked that breakfast has been charged?

however, is isolated, and this means that there is little alternative to the Hyatt Regency Princeton's overpriced food and drinks.

but not much other food offered except for the restaurant that was a little overpriced but plenty of food in the area.

Elevators were scary and old, price of food outrageous and the manager was very rude.

If they want to attract locals from Princeton, they should try better price points.

For the expense, we were disappointed that the pool hours had changed and the room cleaned only every other day.

Hotels are charging 2019 prices for 2020 service and screaming about how hard it is for them.

I was erroneously charged an extra $40 for an accommodation fee, and didn’t realize the fee until I ran my credit card and saw the print out bill.

As is the norm post-Covid, services are reduced to the bare minimum, while maintaining or increasing prices to offset the effects of the pandemic.

Had to rate it 4/5 stars because of the cold pool.

but extremely disappointing for the price.

Beyond that, they were very rude and unapologetic when informing me, stating the new penny-pinching policy was clearly written on their “Welcome Letter” AKA the piece of paper they hand you once you’ve already booked your stay and paid them.

The answer of every question was “you can talk to the manager tomorrow”..very short silly answers with a weird accent I didn’t understand most of it..had to repeat the answers for me each time..was supposed to stay here for 5 nights two rooms..waiting for tomorrow morning to check out and go to a 3 star Marriott which is much cleaner and professional and less cost..

A fantastic property located about 5-7 minutes from the Princeton University campus and easy access to the school by UBER.
