On the way back to our room a gentleman with the beige suite, 6-foot tall, and black hair seeing the difficulty menuvering with the wheelchair, he stepped right in and pleasantly guided us to the elevator.

I would recommend the Hyatt Regency in Princeton to all my family and friends  who are interested in attending special holiday events and need to stay overnight.

We came for a family emergency and the hotel treated us like family - we had great service at check in and during our stay - our rooms were together close to other family and the rooms were spacious and clean with all modern amenities like ports for charging

The rooms were clean; any additional services needed were tended to immediately, decorations celebrating my Princeton Tiger were all around making our special family visit feel very warm and inviting!

We used points for a suite that provided us a bit of extra space, which made things easier for a family of 4.

With a hotel filled with families and children for two nights the staff did a fantastic job keeping the entire hotel clean and neat.

The Princeton Hyatt is convenient if you work in Carnegie Center or have family or friends to visit in Princeton.

After waiting a year, our family was able to gather and celebrate the beautiful life of my dad.

We finally ventured out after being fully vaccinated and saw family in the Princeton area.

Don't make me call the front desk and then I get leftover linens and no comforter.

Finally I called at 3 am to get the voicemail of management.

People who stayed at the room next to me had their phone alarm ringing at 5 am and that woke me up as well.

The telephone had clear encrusted dirt on it.

She gave me email address  conciergeprinc@hyatt.com and said if we don't hear back to call WOH again to get the 20K points.

I made a call to the front desk at 11:20pm to ask when the wedding party would be clearing out, to which I was told that the party would be over at 12 midnight.

but no one was available to take my call.

called front desk 4 times no one answer the phone.

But by then, the large party that had been there all weekend had departed, the parking lot was only 1/4 full, so I packed up all my stuff (groan) and tried to call the front desk.

The seal to the refrigerator is hanging off, phones not working.

but felt worn and in need of a polish: my towels had stains on them, the room was incredibly humid and some of the furniture was very knicked and both the phone and bedside lamps didn’t work properly.

They wouldn’t call the night time manager to verify the story they basically just shrugged off our concerns.

When the restaurant was not answering the phone, the front desk took the order over to the kitchen and our food was delivered to our room within 30 minutes or less.

At that hour, I was not going to call down and ask for someone to come fix it, or make a room change (we had an 8am flight anyway).

Of course, this was five days later and not once did the housekeeping department call.

We’ve gotten several prank calls and none of which made sense.

Manager didn't even have courtesy to call and apologize when reported.

She proceeded to hang up the phone on me after a very rude exchange.

The only downside is the breakfast buffet food is severely overpriced and very tasteless.

but the food…although tasty…was extremely expensive, and there are no other restaurant choices within walking distance 9There is a coffee house near the front desk that has sandwich options. But for someone like myself with food restrictions, this was not a good option.)

We could not find a cheaper price on any other website.

Definitely not worth the money paid for the accommodation.

Shouldn't at the time of billing they should have checked that breakfast has been charged?

however, is isolated, and this means that there is little alternative to the Hyatt Regency Princeton's overpriced food and drinks.

but not much other food offered except for the restaurant that was a little overpriced but plenty of food in the area.

Elevators were scary and old, price of food outrageous and the manager was very rude.

If they want to attract locals from Princeton, they should try better price points.

For the expense, we were disappointed that the pool hours had changed and the room cleaned only every other day.

Hotels are charging 2019 prices for 2020 service and screaming about how hard it is for them.

I was erroneously charged an extra $40 for an accommodation fee, and didn’t realize the fee until I ran my credit card and saw the print out bill.

As is the norm post-Covid, services are reduced to the bare minimum, while maintaining or increasing prices to offset the effects of the pandemic.

Had to rate it 4/5 stars because of the cold pool.

but extremely disappointing for the price.

Beyond that, they were very rude and unapologetic when informing me, stating the new penny-pinching policy was clearly written on their “Welcome Letter” AKA the piece of paper they hand you once you’ve already booked your stay and paid them.

The answer of every question was “you can talk to the manager tomorrow”..very short silly answers with a weird accent I didn’t understand most of it..had to repeat the answers for me each time..was supposed to stay here for 5 nights two rooms..waiting for tomorrow morning to check out and go to a 3 star Marriott which is much cleaner and professional and less cost..

A fantastic property located about 5-7 minutes from the Princeton University campus and easy access to the school by UBER.

Major highlights: perfect location next to Princeton University & Palmers Square.

A  little misleading as to how close to Princeton University - a good 45 min walk to the river.

The hotel is very close to the town center and Princeton University, the hotel environment is safe and everyone is friendly.

The hotel is comfortable and clean and an easy 10 minute drive to the Princeton University campus. The mattress was a little odd (firm & squishy?)

We chose the Hyatt because it is a very quick trip into town and to Princeton University  Check in, and out, was quick, There's plenty of parking, the rooms (we stayed in a deluxe) are really nice, and the lobby is beautiful.

FYI: hotel is 5 minutes from Princeton University.

Princeton University is 5 minutes away, Princeton Junction train station is 5 minutes away and for me, the Hyatt is located at Carnegie Center which is home to many businesses in the area.

Was attending event at Princeton University and location was perfect.

The location was convenient to Princeton University and downtown Princeton.

There are are many shopping stores and eateries in the area and of course Princeton University..

There are several nearby attractions like Princeton University, etc.

The Hyatt is an amazing place , there is plenty of accessible parking,  Koi fish swimming, a comedy club, and interesting looking bar, and the rooms are so spacious and have everything you need to have an extremely pleasant stay as I did there.

The food is excellent, especially the Italian meatballs!

It's lovely, peaceful, practical (with a bar and restaurant).

Our hats off to the chef who cooked the shrimp just right - seldom to see that way done in Western menu.

The staff greeted me with a smile when I arrived and the restaurant staffed were very accommodating of all my dietary needs.

Staff was very friendly and helpful with giving me directions to local attractions and dinner options.

but there is a full service restaurant and nice quick market downstairs.

From the koi fish to the meeting and conference rooms it was wonderful the breakfast and lunch options all week were amazing.

The food in Laurea is beyond my expectation.

My daughter’s father tasted the barbecue smoke ribeye steak, and it was one of the best steaks he’s ever had all over or we would love to stay there again.

The continental breakfast was one of the best I've had at any hotel stay!

Breakfast was a nice assortment of omelets, sausage, potatoes, cereals, breads, muffins, fruit, waffles, juice, good coffee.

but it is apparent the staff makes every effort to honor requests “upon demand.”

The breakfast is convenient and provides options for light fare and even hot entrees and the market offers spirits including select local  wines.

Although the hotel was clean and the breakfast was good, I will not return to this establishment.
