I woke up 3.15 an because a very loud man voice of snoring from room next door.

Need to improve for the door at lobby area, there arent staff to help open the door

What is less satisfying was:
I incidentally got a room that has a connecting door.

I was given a room with connecting door, so the sound from another room was heard,

THEY DIDN'T CHANGE MY TOWEL, I left the used towel on the closet, and in the evening when I was return to my room I find it hanged on the bathroom door and no fresh towel on the towel rack!! 3.

what need to improve is communication to housekeeping staff, while we're still in the room and not check out yet (we confirm request late check out to FO supervisor) and housekeeping staff without knocking the door just enter our room, lucky that my wife already dress up while he entered our room with his access card and try to asked him

We found our neighbour  smoking with the door open.

So we can hear the child from next door..

The elevator stopped and i was stuck there for some time when suddenly the back door opened and closed by itself for several times.

but since I was given room with connecting door (room 525), I can hear the conversation from next door, even tough I was sure they weren't loud, but I can hear it clearly.

even though I was put "make up room" tag in door

and if the connecting door  is open, the floor is so dirty.

but ask for a pool view, the lifts can drive you crazy as they can take forever and the hotel felt really hot inside and the lifts too, I used to stay at Alana for the good value for money, but I would rather stay al Alila as for and extra 300 ribu you can get a room where you can have free food and drinks all day in sky lounge

There were a lot of people used the elevators for only going 1 floor under/above, there were 4 elevators

When I finally got my room key and walked to the elevator, I got another surprise.

but not done, so we did it ourself
-when waiting for elevator, staff with trolley came in first, he did not prioritize the guest.

Need some improvements on the elevator because it was very hot (don't know if this is normal or just happened on my visit 😓).

There are 4 lifts, and 3 of them has direct access to Basement 2.

Other thing that uncomfortable was the lift.

To see the view, I've got to lift the curtain high up above my head.

Elevator in busy time must wait for long time

The elevator also too narrow and long at all ( not suitable to stay here during high season) .

Must check the aircon in room because its slow to cooling the entire room , sweat a lot when waiting a lift , wifi was bad , i cant connect wifi in room, services very diffrent with alana surabaya .

but i was annoyed with the therapist who carries a cellphone at work and the cellphone keeps ringing during massage session.

- Front Desk/Operator, we had to called them many times as no one answer our calls.

I tried to call, ask the reception, the bar..

No towels at the swimming pool at the first day, I have to call housekeeping for adding room supplies at the next day, not so helping personnel, not too various breakfast menus, slow connection of wi-fi

The lady on the phone promise to search for other room

I tried to call room service and they just said the situation was crowded & this is high season so the possibility of the water is very murky .

further, I call front office to fix the problem

Then have to call the reception to complain or change my room.

We just call the hotel one day before arrival during the peak season and lucky us we got 2 rooms.

they has a large pool and jacuzzi with a city view, and the room very clean, they make rose from tissue was very unique

The room is clean, the AC is cool , net is excellent and also the food is good.

Nice hotel, very recommended for family and business near the city and located in the main street good ambience, clean room and nice breakfast many variety from traditional to international wide choices for food .

The location is near the airport and not too far from Trans Java Highway, the service is good, parking lot is big for those of you who taking car with you.

Not just that, I used valet and my car smell disgusting from the cigarette.

Also, my towel smell dusty as if it was not dried thoroughly.

When I want to wash my feet, the bathroom smells bad.

I asked for a smoking room, although they couldn't guarantee the room was available on the phone,

but they didn't provide an ashtray, I was using a glass as an ashtray and, again they left the glass full of cigarette butt without cleaning it, good job housekeeping! 4.

We smell cigarette smokes in our room which very annoying.

The front desk should ask the customer about smoking room or non smoking room.

However need improvement in the bathroom where the floor was slipery when wet due to soap and the water when we open the valve in the first 3 minutes is smell bad

Construction position bathroom floor flat with floor a drain, so the water is not flowing rapidly and affect mostly flow to the floor of toilet room underneath.

without any complain..rooms are tastefull designed, smoking/non smoking rooms by choice, littlebit too far from center so if you dont have motorbike/car it is problematic.

All facilities, the room, the breakfast menus, the staff were all friendly , the pool, it was all fantastic.

Even though the lift capacity cannot handle the guest when its full

We have to wait long enough to get in because the elevator always full.

And finally I get my room key card, to get my turn to enter the elevator need about 15 minutes to get my turn since the guests to go up quite massive.

I was staying on 17 fl and it took some times to get the lifts to either going up nor down.

Additionally, we had to wait for so long to get the elevator, as there were only 3 elevators serving 22 floors.

And you have to add the number of the lift, long queeing after the meeting's done, was so annoying.

Just a small thing that i dont like at that time.. since the hotel was full (it was during hari raya lebaran), the lift was not good.

The lift was really bad, we had to wait for long time queue since the lift always full passangers.

The only improvement this hotel need to make is to have a faster and bigger size elevator to accomodate full capacity hotel

but the lift work so slow, not like the other hotel.

What I dislike is the elevator is very slow and it makes some creepy sound.

The worst part of my stay is the long time waiting for an elevator.

too bad they have not enough elevator so we wait quite long time everytime we want to ride.

lift only 3 and it was too little for the 22 floors so waiting for the elevator to come to bring us down into is a dull moments.

and that would be your entertainment all night long, reported to security doesnt seems to help..

Busy time, please expect waiting for half an hour at least to get your chance to enter the lifts, they have 4 passengers lifts

Very slow lift-  From level 2 (breakfast place) to lobby is just one floor down,but no staircase.

The space of the lift not big enough and they only have 3 lift to handle all the guest.

5/5..location, (near to the mall and it is just walking distance only).. 5/5 cleanness  ( i find it is clean and the bathroom is also clean).

The location is so strategic, it's close to mall, which have a plenty store to choose.

I really like this hotel, the room is huge, breakfast is delicious, the service is nice and excellent, the staff are friendly, and the place is very strategic near mall and near many “warung” that sell local cuisine with cheap price.

Laundry was not brought to our room despite my constant telephone call to the front desk asking about that.

When I about to enter my room, the aisle so much noisy with the guest nearby my room and also got harashment from the guests from room maybe 2102 or 2104 not so sure

The only problem came when our neighbour use bathroom , the sound of water running was noisy.

While dining it was very noisy in the kitchen and the food trolley need to re grease.

The minus factor of this hotel was the noise from the vehicles.

Although rather far from city center ( about half an hour drive in light traffic ), it is still a better place to stay.

The noise from the next room bathroom is ridiculously disturbing, especially in early morning or late night.

Because of the heavy traffic, after about 15 hours driving, we decided to stop in Solo to rest.

I made the video when a noise that lasts.

One noticable negative is the walls, doors and ceilings are seems thin, if you stay there during busy time, good luck getting some quiet time even at night, ppl out and about in the corridor, babies cry from other room, worst is if you have a noisy neighbour right on top of your room, squeeking noise of the movable wooden chairs and the tiles floor is not a good combination, it makes a super noisy friction.

But using Waze, it was not that far and the traffic in Solo is not that heavy.

but it is not a big problem since the traffic in Solo is very light.

Slow wifi, rooms not soundproof so its quite noisy in the morning.

included in the list of my favorite hotels in solo, the food is very good, the rooms are clean and the service is very friendly, the swimming pool is also good, will definitely visit again.

All is well, except 2 things the food was slow in refilling, and there was no covid satgas in restaurant, so people can sit wherever he want with no care about sign of social distancing, after eat people could talk each other without mask in restaurant.
