The beds are really comfy, the bathrooms are spacious and clean.

The room was so clean, the bed was very comfortable & pillows too !

This hotel is quite new, the room is clean & the bed is really comfortable.

Rooms are spacious, very nicely designed and furnished with comfortable beds.

Superbly designed and with plenty of space , comfy beds , 4 pillows , large wall mounted TV , cooking hob , microwave, kettle ,coffee maker and a fridge .

but when the doors were shut we could hardly hear any music.

There is one downside to staying and that is the next door café/night club which has a band on each evening and the noise unfortunately cannot be ignored - that said it faded into the background and certainly did not prevent us from sleeping.

but as the bar next door fills up, that becomes limited as well.

The downside is the restaurant bar next door which blasts music until 11 pm to midnight.

However, out of the 3 nights 2 of them had the dog in the restaurant next door barking and howling all night long so not much sleep.

Really friendly and helpful staff at all times of the day.

The staff were friendly and despite the slight confusion of an extra bed, they quickly accommodated us.

Employees are VERY friendly and helpful and speak English sufficient.

The breakfast offering is modest and there are no options for vegetarians apart from toast and fruit.

Breakfast is served in the restaurant at the back of the hotel and offers a breakfast menu to choose from along with toast , fruit etc .

The room itself was large and well appointed with a microwave, kettle and coffee machine.

Rooms are very big and clean with a refrigerator, kitchenette, cooking plates, espresso coffee machine,micro wave.

The room is very big and the wifi works well.

There is Irish bar with live band until midnight just besides hotel, so if you are sensitive to noise, this hotel definitely not good for u.

I am sensitive to noise, and frankly it did not bother me, i slept very well before midnight, so.

With the balcony door closed, the noise was not too annoying for me,

And if you are willing to wait a while, there's a complimentary shuttle to Songkla Town by their own vintage car,saving you some Baht.

The hotel reception did a great job to take us to beach where Golden Mermaid Statue is located & also seafood restaurant with their luxury shuttle for FOC

The best thing is the free open-air shuttle that transports guests to places of interest around Muang Songkhla; taxi service to Hat Yai airport is also provided for guests at a decent price.

You'd have to have been in Beethoven's closing years of total deafness to have gotten any sleep.

The bed was "huge" and comfortable along with a lounger and desk.

but only on Saturdays -- so very helpful.

The new Montana hotel in Songkhla has many things going for it: great location, extremely helpful reception staff, generous breakfast servings, well-designed rooms.

We chose this hotel because it is not too far away from relatives' house which we were visiting for the festive period.

The rooms seem a tad dated and are seriously short of electrical outlets.

Due to its location and based on my observation, a number of offshore oil & gas service provider uses this hotel to house their staff before they head off to the oil & gas field of the coast.

Was there for 2nights during a Buddhist festival, the staff really helps a lot, especially to a solo foreign tourist like me.

The room was spacious and clean, had a mini-fridge and hot water pot, bottled water replenished daily, and friendly, helpful staff.

The Singora Hotel

Staff at the hotel know some English and are very helpful and friendly.

The hotel itself is clean, secure, has friendly staff and good breakfasts.

The staff were very friendly and the room was great - very clean and comfortable.

and once at this hotel one is surrounded by "local places" to eat.

but a great local food court next to the hotel.

As the hotel is located not far from the local university, there are other street vendors available within walking distance.

Therefore, "LOCATION" is very important to many travelers.

The location is about a 20 minute drive to Samila Beach,

This hotel is in a great location with everything you may need only a few minutes walk away.

Like being mentioned by previous travellers, the property has two different blocks(one nearer to main road) and is centrally located in Songkhla and within walking distance to 7-11, there is a mini hawker centre just adjacent to the hotel and street food available nearby.

When driving up from Malaysia, it is very easy to find.

Chalathat Beach is about 10 minutes drive by car or tuk-tuk.

I hope that this (somewhat detailed) Review has been helpful.

but this is the fun of travelling, staff are helpful.

The service rendered by the reception is acceptable.

10 minutes walk to the beach on the left side and the right side is the old town.

Beach also nearby, 20 minutes walking distance.

Staff at the front office is friendly and helpful including the engineer.

But it’s close to street food market where I found Halal food aplenty.

If you  are there on a Sunday don't miss morning market which is 5 minutes from the hotel, turn right out of hotel and then right again on first major street.

Reception staff were a mixed bag, some very helpful, others indifferent or downright contemptuous.

In saying that the staff were friendly and very helpful and put up with my attempts at speaking Thai,

The hotel staff were friendly and accommodating (extending our stay from 2 to 6 nights without fuss or drama), and the ease of access to the beach was a real bonus - just walk out of the back gate, down a few steps and you're on the sand.

Its furniture and facilities are quite old

but this 3rd one was more a camping furniture than a real bed.

Furniture is frayed/torn or straight out broken.

As mentioned in other reviews, the Golden Mermaid statue is right smack in front of this hotel.

Breakfast provides several kinds of food, and the taste is ok.

I found the staff to be attentive and check in/out was easy.

I had been here for seminar and the staff were nice.

Staff do not smile easily, reception is efficient

but also to smile and be pleasant towards guests staying in the hotel.

WiFi access in the room didn’t work, bandwidth in the lobby quite low and connection not stable.

Plus the phones have been down all week and internet in non-existent.

WiFi intermittent at best and swimming pool out of use , avoid at all cost , not worth 1 star .

But no functional internet, only in the hotel lobby, not in the Rooms..

However our allocated room was out of the range of Wifi.

The thing I don't like is how slow and bad the internet connection is!

In the rooms, our devices never once connected, and despite mentioning this on day 1 and 2, this remained the case until the end of our stay.
