However, the proximity to Siesta Keys Beach is second to none…literally just across the bridge over the intercostal waterway.

This is a very nice hotel, very clean & close to the beach and shopping.

It’s only five minutes away from the beach.

but how close it is to the beach and the limited selection in the area, I will say that it was ok.

The “free beach shuttle” doesn’t begin until 10:00 AM, most people want to be to the beach before that!!

The staff was helpful and the beach location was a nice feature.

The location was convenient to the beach and such.

Conveniently located 1 mile from beach, with two very good restaurants basically in the parking lot.

Guests were were friendly; we made new friends from Ft. Myers Beach.

Walk a mile to the beach or drive to the many restaurants nearby.

Excellent parking always, and Siesta Key is located 10 minutes from the beaches, and with many options for dining at night. Excellent!

It was a brief drive to beaches, and destinations.

Other things to note:

1. the pool/bar is quaint and spacious
2. bagels only for breakfast
3. no exercise facility or affiliation with any local gym (I’d recommend management pursue an agreement with EoS for guests to get discounted daily/weekly rates, which is 3-5 minute drive from the hotel).

The free hot breakfast was a dissapointment compare to other hotels where I had free breakfast.

Nightly popcorn and cookies, breakfast, and a hot tub.

The complimentary breakfast offered was average with fresh bananas and oranges.

but it was very clean well runned and had what you needed for a siesta key vacation the breakfast was set up very nicely each morning and the pool was very nice and clean and they had a small bar which was perfect for an afternoon cocktail would definitely go back

The free shuttle service was a life saver for getting to and from the island!

The staff was friendly and kind, the room was clean, and the free shuttle (tip the drives) to and from the beach is one of the best things about this property.

The free shuttle was so helpful because we chose not to rent a car, which we frankly didn’t need.

With that said, I will start with the positives, they do offer a decent breakfast compared to other hotels I have recently stayed at and the free shuttle service is definitely a bonus.

Pool area surrounded by palm trees and has a cozy pool area tiki bar.

The outdoor pool is great for swimmers and sunning and has a tiki bar (with live band on certain evenings).

Lovely pool area and on some nights a bar with live entertainment which were very good.

Enjoyed the pool bar with Lynn as the bartender.

We enjoyed the pool area which is next to a cute, little outside bar — with heaters in case it’s cold!

but the pool is freezing and you can’t have drinks or food in the pool area.

The hotel grounds are beautiful and well maintained, the pool area was one of our favorite places, especially the Jacuzzi!

Stay away from the hot tub, so many chemicals our skin/hair was messed up almost a week later.

Booked 1 month ago and when we got there they had booked our rooms to others, room smelled bad and tiny bugs all over.

Carpet was nasty, manager would not return my call.

Many people now a days do not like the smoke!

Instead we got a view of the parking lot and apparently everybody would come and stand outside our room to smoke cigarettes so it filled our room with smoke.

The eggs were disgusting way too much salt.

but our room had a musty smell and was outdated.

and there was dried poop smeared on the side of the toilet bowl.

even though we put ours off Changed room at 10 pm as too noisy New room was slightly better still fan noise in bathroom as well as a bit of an odour!

Staff did not seem to be bothered by this disgusting incident.

The new room, located at the 4th floor seemed bether and didn´t smell like the first one.

The toilet in the bathroom smelled *strongly* of sewer gas.

Hotel staff was knowledgeable and provided all kinds of help.

The staff was very nice and accommodating.

Very unprofessional management and oversight.

The front desk staff was nice to us despite what others have written.

Wonderful service start to finish from the front desk to the tiki bar.

Very nice people working at the front desk day and night.

To make matters worse they blew debris and sand all over my newly detailed car.

The air con would turn off and was noisy.

The room was clean, AC was loud, there were cracked bathroom tiles, found a long dark hair on a towel.

One problem, the AC fan blew on the farthest bed, a common situation in hotels.

However, we are not fans of common use serving spoons and tongs.

my only issue was that the air conditioner did not work in the fitness center.

The bathroom exhaust fan was non existant or broken.

My only complaint with the room was the loudness of the air conditioner.

The bathroom floor was sticky and the air conditioning unit was clunky.

Only disappointment was that the AC motion sensor turned the room temp up while we were gone and the room was damp and warm upon our return.

There was no fan for ventilation in the bathroom and you could see where they'd painted over mold stains on the ceiling of the tub.

After sweating all night in a hot and humid room I called back for the manager again.

AC unit not working properly complaint about it.

Hotel hot water heater probably couldn't keep up - the hot water for showers only reached warm which was a bummer. Def.

Only downside to room was noisy air conditioning unit and couldn't open window.

There were problems in the bathroom that should have been detected prior to our arrival (door didnt lock fan didnt work) and the air conditioner did not cool too well.

My biggest complaint is that the AC was a wall unit, and the constant on & off all night kept me awake.

Even cranking the unit down to the lowest setting did not help much.

though the hotel is adjacent to the airport the rooms are very quiet.

It is on the airport property and was super convenient for 5:30 am flight.

Time for an update on such a great airport hotel location.

Been their 3-4 times in last few years and all good.plenty of parking and a 2-4 minute drive to the Oakland Airport.

proximity to the airport with shuttle was a huge plus

Our top floor room 406 overlooked the drive to the airport and we could see the top of the Ringling Art Museum.

Location is good - close to museums and airport.

The hotel location really supports that you will be at the airport on time.

We were here for a Ringling College tour and it was convenient to airport and campus.

He also showed up early in the morning to take us to the airport.

No hallway noise which is a plus I would recommend this Hampton also close to the airport.

The location is literally right at the front entrance of the airport which is nice.

First off, if you're flying in or out of the fabulous (little) Sarasota Bradenton Airport, this hotel is the closest and within walking distance of the airport.

If you are looking for a hotel near the airport in Sarasota/Bradenton this is perfect.

My Fiancée and I Stayed at your Hotel located at 975 University Drive Sarasota Florida near the Airport.

we stayed at this hotel for 2 nights, staff was great and friendly, By the airport within walking distance to some nice areas and ocean .

Very close to airport and Ringling Museum as well as New College of Florida.

The hotel is very close to the airport and it’s kid friendly there is a full gym and great big pool.

This Hampton Inn is close to the airport and convenient to downtown.

Spent 3 nights here; comfy, nicely appointed, clean and surprisingly quiet despite its proximity to the airport.

So close to the airport and Uber trip to/from the airport is complementary as well.

We also noticed how quiet it was which surprised us because of it's close proximity to the airport.

I am a diamond member an =d stay here frequently and would would never go anywhere else in Sarasota.

It is close to airport & we never heard any planes.

The location of this Hampton is close to the airport,

even though hotel is located near an airport.

Included breakfast was quite large in variety and good.

(I also had a free delicious cookie one night).

Hotel was clean, rooms were nice, and breakfast did not disappoint.

The breakfast buffet was inviting, clean and plentiful.

The morning breakfast was very good and there were plenty of choices to pick from.

Love the modern decor, the variety of food at breakfast, and the glass of wine at check-in on Thursday evening was such a nice touch!

Great, friendly staff,  very good breakfast, comfortable rooms, near Ringling Art Museum, Ringling Circus Museum, and Asolo State Theaters.

Because the rooms are not cleaned often the carpets need to be replaced.

Carpets are worn and dirty, needs paint .

They have removed the draperies and replaced them with pull down shades, carpet is poor quality.

You can tell the carpets in the rooms and halls have not been cleaned for at least 6 months.

Very small rooms, dirty carpet, and the staff would not provide me with a receipt upon checking out.

No laundry room and hallway carpet very dirty.

The walls are grey and the carpet is a dingy grey.

.the carpets were dirty, the walls were dirty, the refrigerator didn't work, dust everywhere, and the curtain rod in the bathroom was ready to fall off the wall.

There is some minor things the hotel is still working on such as new carpeting or carpet cleaning is needed throughout the hotel and also some extra cable channels.

The lighter color choice of carpet was a poor one for a hotel.

There were some stains on the carpet in my room,

Carpet worn, drapes dangling off of the hooks, bathroom needed caulked.
