The staff in the bars and restaurants where great and the service was brilliant  a big shout out to Arif at the Kumsal Bar  who was just special to me and my wife.

I would also like to thank the staff at the Kumal Bar who were so respectful on the day of the Queens funeral.

The entertainment in the evenings was great by the Beach Bar (Kumsaal) if you wanted that at 9.30 in the evenings, or most nights there was live music at the Pool Bar - very good too! Even at lunchtimes at Kumsaal there was live music - violinist (brilliant), saxophonist, and a group from South Africa I believe (excellent!)

Ahmet at the beach bar and other places, a star, always there with our menus and drinks and a very polite young man.

There are good shops and bars across the road.

The mini bar is restocked each day and bedding changed every 2 days.

We also loved the beach bar for lunch with a beautiful view.

Lunch we took at the beach bar daily (although they you can go to any of the other restaurants) with the staff again making us feel welcome and nothing was too much trouble - either choose from a menu or eat from the fresh buffet options of which there is plenty with branded alcoholic and soft drinks.

Engin at Meltem Bar made the best cocktails.

The mini bar in our room was always so well stocked and the cleaners did a wonderful job every day.

With live music in a much more relaxed setting at the pool bar.

Ramazan Baysan who was day time Beach bar and evening Turkish was so friendly and looked after us throughout.

We were in a swim up room so walked daily through the grounds to the beach bar for lunch and then for a swim in the sea.

Best bartender at the beach bar - HASAN HUSEYIN , great guy very attentive.

The staff in this hotel are very friendly and helpful.

This Hotel is first class the staff are so friendly and always making sure your holiday is special.

but always friendly and helpful, the staff in the patisserie always smiling and the coffees, milkshakes and cakes are to die for.

Entertainment and activities were fun, the entertainment staff were very friendly, especially Sebnem, Fatma and Nesrin.

The little cake shop was fantastic and the staff in there were so friendly and great with the kids stocking up the lollies and serving ice creams and cakes.

We were a family of 12  who have just arrived back from a 2 week holiday, from the moment we arrived all the staff were very friendly and helpful, all food was excellent with a range of choices to have, the  shows on a night time were amazing and the activities and entertainment staff made our holiday especially fatma, sebnem, nesrim , sevila and mehmet we will be definitely coming back next year.

Just left the Barut Hemera after 10 day holiday to celebrate our Ruby wedding anniversary and very happy to find the same high standards as last November,

but I can honestly say if you are looking for a unforgettable holiday where the staff actually care about how happy you are then the Barut Hemera is the place to book. PS.

We have just returned from a excellent 10 day holiday in the Hemera, we had a great swim up room, which was cleaned every day by our very happy cleaner (can't remember her name).

I recommend if you are hesitating to book this hotel, please DO NOT, you will not regret booking this as your holiday, wether you are a couple, friends, family, or even on your own and want to enjoy a solo holiday, this hotel makes you feel super welcome and will cater to all your needs as much as possible.

With just a bit of that, then this is the perfect holiday.

We did go to the pool party which was just as good as our last visit.

Entertainment every night and also the entertainment team during the day (we did not really interact with them as we spend a lot of time at the quiet pool).

We loved the quiet pool area as it was so relaxing.

Pools- The pools are amazing and kept incredibly clean.

Good food, nice and clean and quiet by the pool.

From arriving to leaving 100% fantastic the rooms 5/5 the pools 5/5 the gardens 5/5 the cleanest 5/5 and most of all the staff 5/5 cannot recommend this hotel enough we had a fantastic time thanks , all staff were brilliant sorry can’t remember you all

It was very upsetting for me, in particular, as I am a non-swimmer and the swim-up pool gives me confidence to get into the water.

Also enjoyed the evening entertainment, good bands on at the main pool bar, especially the guys from Ukraine, great girl singer, lovely voice.

Food was lovely with plenty of variation.the beach was beautiful,loved the sea, you have to go there.also loved the pool party, you have to try it.

There is a quieter pool for those who just want to laze in the sun and activities in the other pools for those with more energy.

Hotel facilities are fantastic from the lovely pools to the private beach.

Lots of entertainment everyday, especially pool party on wednesdays.

Management were a big presence on site overseeing the running of things especially the pool party on a Wednesday which was brilliant and a definite highlight of the holiday.

A great place to stay with a lovely pool and gardens.

but the lighting in the kids room was very poor and i needed to use the torch on my phone when trying to choose clothes from the wardrope, i know these are only minor gripes but for the price we paid and knowing how good quality this hotel is was disappointing.

but I would be hesitant to return due to the poor security and reserved sunbeds.

I think this may be because the main shows at 9pm were very poor and repetitive as they appeared to be dance shows every night.

Water bridge is unsafe as it is no fixed with piles and it is floating on waves

4.low Quality ( salty, dry) and poor variety of food is not for such level of hotel and price.

The evening entertainment was quite poor, alot of the singers were were struggling with English.

Due to lockdown, we felt that we had to get away and as the weather in Scotland’s generally pretty poor at this time of year we opted to go abroad.

Negatives: the view from the room was poor and despite asking for a different room this was not available despite the hotel not being busy.

The evening entertainment was pretty poor compared to the professional shows we experienced in Belek last year, just made up of dance and acrobat shows, it was basically the same just different outfits.

Basic furniture, poor bed, sheets and pillows and a very basic bathroom.

We had poor sleep because of this as it was too hot !

To say 'the food is poor' is frankly an insult to the large number of chefs, waiters and waitresses who spend countless hours preparing, designing, cooking, taking your dishes away, serving drinks etc.. We all have our favourite food,

but looking a bit tired and poor air conditioning.

The biggest let down of the holiday was the food which on the main was very poor.

I really don't know how some people can say there was a limited or poor selection of food or just gripe for the sake of it.

Cleaners did not clean the rooms well
The cocktails and mock tails were horrible 
Lift sometimes didn’t work 
Staff had very poor English 
Our room was far away I’m heavily pregnant with a one year old child would of been nice to be on the ground floor.

When we pointed the quality of the room out and the Thomas Cook rep also took pictures as evidence to show how poor it was, we were told they are full you can stay here tonight or go home at our expense.

but not that big the wardrobe space is very poor.

We brought our disappointment to the attention of Guest Relations who subsequently advised the Management.

However guest relations where very helpful and we were able to pre order food for our restaurant reservations such as pasta

You can easily book the speciality restaurants on the hotel app or through guest relations.

You WhatsApp guests relations what restaurant you are visiting and they will sort everything for you.

Sid at guest relations is a lovely person and will do his best to make sure everyone is having a great time.

There was so much food in the Turkish restaurant, all of which was really tasty, the meze was so nice.

We did all the a la carte options and the food was very good.

The WiFi is brilliant in all areas never had any issues you can even get it on the beach,
All the restaurant staff are amazing they work extremely hard to keep all the visitors happy, they are always smiling and helpful, really this applies to all the staff at the Barut Hemera, we still have a few more days here and are not looking forward to leaving

The food continues to be excellent quality and everything else was spot on again.

however the food in main restaurant was fantastic as well with plenty to choose from.

Our absolute favourite of the A La Carte restaurants was the sushi restaurant.

The food is lovely and the hotel is kept in top condition with the army of staff working hard to give the holiday of your dreams.

We went to the Turkish restaurant wow is all I can say.

The Hotel is absolutely spotless and you have a huge choice of food that is well cooked.

The Swim-Up rooms are located in the 'Quiet Pool' area of the hotel grounds, near to The Olive restaurant.

Food was really good and we visited all the Al a carte which were exceptional.

A Special thank you to Halil Celik at the Hemera Restaurant who had our table ready for us every night.

We watched a few shows which were ok, nice part of the evening.

The live music around the Melton Bar was very good & provided a nice alternative to the shows at the Kumsal Bar.

The food was outstanding, the grounds stunning (the photos online really don’t do it justice), the service was excellent and we also really enjoyed the entertainment.

Entertainment team were really friendly and the boccia was great fun.

We can highly recommend the Barut Hemera for its high standards (definitely 5*), Ultra All Inclusive, accommodation, dining, drinks, entertainment and wonderful staff! We are now coutning down to September 2023 (if we don't turn up before that of course!)

It has everything you need from great entertainment to an amazing hairdresser and Spa.

Entertainment is great, my niece loved the kids club, water slides and water play area and especially loved the mini disco.

But for me the star of the Hotel has to be Mehmet the Animation Team Leader he’s so funny and easy to get on with bringing all Nationalities together.

are 5 star+ both during the day and evening entertainment, our boys loved it.

The lounge bar is open 24 hours and there are two other bars in the grounds with both usually having evening entertainment.

Hotel, team, food, drinks, and entertainment all outstanding from the moment we arrived.

Lots of enthusiasm and all other entertainment team was fabulous as well.

The entertainment was good day and night as is the weekly pool party with lots of foam.

One of the best hotel in Antalya the food is great rooms are clean and good location and and stuff are very nice and helpful they make sure that your having the time of your life and the entertainment is very nice especially sebnem I recommend this hotel

There is the odd Mediterranean smell in places.

In no particular order ! Ramazan looked after us most lunchtimes at the beach bar , lunch was excellent ( note that there is a smoking and non smoking section !)

Also our rooms were above the seafood restaurant and the corridors and lifts smells bad in evening.

we sat in the non-smoking area and all of a sudden a woman lights her cigarette.

but does contains cig butt's and rubbish lazy guests.

I would like to see no smoking in the restaurants when people are eating, I don't know if this is still a European thing

though there are no smoking tables we still found cigarette smoke a nuisance.

Plus you dont have staff and reps constantly harassing you by the poop to buy excursions or extras.

Only problem was the occasional smell of sewage from some of the dated man hole covers, hence no  top rating.

There smoking and non smoking areas yet they are not enforced smokers just selfishly smoke anywhere they disgustingly feel and nothing is done.

Watch out for the shells on the beach, those can be nasty sharp.

but the fake hams taste like chemicals, i worry whats in it.

although people seem to be allowed to smoke anywhere.

And it's not uncommon to see people smoking around this pool in the daytime.

The smell of our room said that they smoked inside as well.

although in certain areas around the pool there was a smell of stagnant water or a drainage smell at certain times of the day which made us avoid that area of the pool.

Also less inflatables in pools would allow for swimming and a no smoking section around pool would also be nice.

There was also some strange smell in the rooms, especially in one of them (we had 2 rooms).

Large rooms  (we had land view Superior rooms) convenient beds, always hot water, enough sanitary, nice balcony, in the room 1343 it could be better conditioned, frequently it was strange unpleasant smell out of conditioners.

On our arrival we were put in a room which was filthy and smelly and not what we thought we had paid for.

We were served most mornings by Bilal who was very attentive and nothing was too much.

The cleanliness and amenities where second to none and the cleaners and  staff who topped up your room couldn’t do enough for you.

Hotel continues to provide excellent service, staff & food quality, however as we had our grandkids we had to book a 2 bedroom family room which was a good size

The attention to detail was great even down to the staff having special t-shirts.

but some staff made them better than others and a couple of times I ordered something and was served something very different.

all the staff were very polite and always smiling providing such a FIRST CLASS service to all clients and nothing was too much trouble for them.

The whole hotel was kept spotless and  the staff couldn't do enough for us.

The town of Side is interesting and quite historic so it was refreshong that from the hotel you could follow the promenade and reach the old town in 40 minutes which added a bonus to staying at an all inclusive resort.

All the premium drinks are included in the all inclusive and you can get draught lager or bottles of Bud, Miller, Becks or Efes.

We all had a wonderful time in a first class all inclusive hotel.

The Arum is amazing and literally 'All Inclusive' means everything is included apart form the spa and water sports.

This was different to the sort of holiday we usually go for and being all inclusive novices we were a bit dubious about what to expect.

The staff were mostly friendly and attentive, and the all-inclusive drinks were decent enough.

but for those fools (like us) on the all inclusive package for two weeks you got what you were given and it was just awful especially when premium “ultra all inclusive” drinks package is what we were promised. 4.

Fantastic all inclusive hotel in Side, Turkey. Standouts were the pool area, food selection and quality and also activities for the kids (water slides were heavily used !)

They also include branded alcohols in the all inclusive (absolut vodka, Bombay sapphire, tanqueray, a variety of popular bottled beers and much more).

We were 5 (2 adults and 3 teens) in a 2 bed apartment for 1 week all inclusive end June 2022.

When they advertise ultra inclusive they really mean it, unlimited access to drinks including coffee, bottled water, cocktails, branded alcohol and soft drinks all day from all bars, plus snack and with  a coffee and cake area inside just in case you could squeeze those in.

We stayed on all inclusive basis, great value for money.

I highly recommend the hotel for families looking for the flexibility of all-inclusive and 5 star quality.

Just returned after a fabulous stay at Barut Arum last week, and what can we say about the best luxurious all-inclusive hotel.

Definitely a step up from your ordinary all inclusive beverages.

For an all inclusive family holiday you can't ask for much more.

The All Inclusive package is the best that I have experienced outside of the Caribbean, which in my opinion is the best in the world and this hotel competes easily with them.

Best all inclusive we've been to and we've been to a lot.

I have never done all-inclusive before as I like to be able to explore,

He was so friendly and inclusive, no matter how good (or bad) the player.

Crazy gold was fun, the pier is great for sitting down by the bar and enjoying views over the sea.

Mustafi Ferhat and tayfun make the pool bar they are so efficient always smiling happy having a laugh with everyone.

Beach bars are stunning and pornstar martinis were delicious!

From start to finish everything was perfect, reception, bar staff, restaurant, cleanliness etc.

I’ve seen people walk in, have a drink at the beach bar and then leave.

Was given a two bedroom family apartment which was great as it gave us double wardrobe space and wasn’t too far from the pool, bars and restaurants.

Facilities great with loads of bars and restaurants you could spread out all over without it been repetitive.

Finally a big shout  to all waiters at all the bars and restaurants for their quality service and all with a smile.
