Went to the reception and ask for an heater, their answer was they don't have and we couldn't turn on the heat system because is summer.

The air conditioning in our room was not working.

The noise was terrible and we insisted on switching to another room, not heading the garden.

The a air condition works ONLY in the lobby, nothing in the rooms mainly vent.

I have asked the reception to fix the air conditioning - nothing happened for 3 hours.

We were a group (business) and we had 2 conference rooms, in one of theese we were freezing (even outside was warmer) the explanation was simple: the air system is not working-end of story, no excuses, no other solution.

They lie the pool is ok on chek in and down the pool had the heater broken and the watter was freezing cold.

Heating should be at the client's discretion in his room (especially when travelling with a baby) and food should get a quality upgrade.

We asked for the air conditioning to be turned on.

- air conditioning is very weak​ - doesn't go below 20C (80F)​
- wifi drops very frequently​ - I was unable to work on many occasions.

At least the rooms have very effective air conditioning.

The air conditioning in the fitness center was not functioning 3 days in a row during my stay, and this appears to be a normality.

The first night the air conditioning didn't work and the maintenance man didn't succeed in repairing it in our suite room.The second night we were transferred to a smaller room in which the air conditioning worked .The food was of a very low standard for Hilton Hotels lacking variety,As we were on an organised tour I didn't check the reviews.

İf it is allowed smoking, management of this hotel should consider to invest more in the ventilation system.

Even ventilation is poor, they let people smoke and it is disturbing.

There was a wedding there when we stayed there, which was a little noisy, and we couldn't get the AC cold enough for our preferences (although, as Americans, we realize we may be a bit extreme in our preferences).

Executive Lounge cosy with good canapés and fantastic local wines.

Our arrangement had access to the executive lounge, which was closed, of course, the excuse of everybody nowadays.

Executive lounge was ok, the pool was nice.

but has a great pool and spa with fair prices.Rooms are big and well equipped- executive lounge is ok for a little breakfast and aperitif.In house dining is quite good and fast.

I was staying in an executive suite with access to the Executive Lounge.

The executive lounge had a few snacks in the afternoons with water and soda.

We were upgraded to a suite which was huge, the bed was very comfortable, decor is sophisticated, executive lounge has drinks and snacks, breakfast had brilliant variety (included as a diamond member) and the spa/pool was one of the highlights of our trip!

I took use of The Spa, Restaurant, and Daily use of the Executive Lounge.

The executive lounge was perfect, it was a great spot to relax, grab breakfast, or grab a drink in the middle of the day.

As  Diamond   Hilton HHonors  member I can say that the staff, rooms,spa,executive lounge, in this  hotel  are the best.

What makes the experience perfect is the warm attitude of the entire staff; they all work together to ensure the most pleasant stay from reception, breakfast, executive lounge and, cannot praise more, personnel in the spa.

The executive lounge was pleasant and reasonably stocked.

The service was excellent, friendly staff, the breakfast was so good, the rooms as we expected, nothing to complain about it.

Perfect location, clean and quiet, close to zoo and to Astra museum, extremly rich breakfast, very nice ream at the restaurant ( Camara Boierului) and great food. We used also Spa facilities and really enjoyed the experience, especially after 18 months break ( the spa was closed due to Covid restrictions)

Just cross the street and you can visit the Zoo and Astra Museum ( with different houses from the Romanian villages).

Hotel is located at the outskirts of the city, next to the city Zoo and an outdoor museum which is an amazing place to be (I recommend visiting them).

Around the hotel there are very interesting attractions for leisure- park, zoo, museum - we enjoyed visiting them.

The hotel is into Hilton network, locating into a good position near to the Dumbrava forest, Zoo and Village Museum of Sibiu.

An added bonus is there is one of Europe’s largest outdoor museums just down the road which is well worth a visit.

A very nice hotel right next to the Zoo and the Astra Museum.

We relaxed with an excellent spa experience and the use of good size pool and bubble bath; we enjoyed the lovely Romanian restaurant with local music; the room and service were good and we were able to visit the celebrated nearby ASTRA museum of traditional dwellings, mills and churches.

Located outside Sibiu (but no problem at all for getting a taxi cab or no 13 bus to the center) in a wonderful place-in Dumbrava wood just across the Zoo and the Astra Museum (two very special places worthing visiting).

Very hospitable and professional staff, located in a nice and quiet area near a forest, a zoo and open-air village museum with old traditional Romanian dwellings.

Over the street it is a Zoo and a Grill House, and few hundred meters away a village museum.

Althoughis not located in the city center, rather at the exit to Paltinis near the Astra museum and zoo, Padurea Dumbrava I fully recommend location as it is more quiet and it is really nice there.

It is within 2 minutes of the zoo (walking distance) and 5 of the ASTRA museum, which is much better than the tiny peasant museum in town and has a great gift store as well.

Great authentic romanian food and atmosphere" at "Camara Boierului" and most important for me: The hotel is in one of the most beautiful and relaxing places in Sibiu.. Minutes away from Astra Museum. You have to try it.. You don't need to leave the hotel to have a great time:)

A little downside it was the restaurant on the terrace from the wine selection perspective and for allowing other guests to smoke on semi-close terrace.

Pool is dangerous due to sharp stone edges  - my kids have now many wounds on both hands and legsBoth pool and SPA are have a lot of dirty water on the floor do to bed design of the drainage system.

Our attendees, who came from 25 countries around the world, reported water leaks, mold, dirt and other issues with their rooms.

Not so clean, smells from the pool inside the hotel, etc.

but there was a bad odor in the room where I stayed.

most of the people was smoking on the entrance hall which I believe that was not ethical and legal.

If you go in winter, it will be very cold to smoke outside.

The hallways reek of cigarette smoke, which permeates the "non smoking" bedrooms.

Also the bathrooms could bring another smell sometimes.

And trust me he did this in a very nasty tone But then I ask for a phone so that I could call Hilton direct and amazingly his policy changed and he pulled money from the desk and quickly gave me change.

Another worrying issue is the fact that they haven't changed the batteries for the smoke detectors.

Spa area is fantastic, indoor pool, sauna etc.

Breakfast is very good, and the Spa is worth going if you look for relaxation.

rooms are massive, nice spa and the traditional food restaurant makes amazing food.

Did not expect in average big city as Sibiu full equipped Hilton with everything, including spa area, big pool, even nice summer garden with chairs and sofas.

It has excellent facilities including a good sized pool and spa facility which was clean, relaxing and a great use of time when the weather was not so good.

Firstly this is a great hotel,with an excellent spa and great breakfasts.

I loved my room on the last floor, the gym, the spa ( had a massage there ) and of course the breakfast.

The SPA is good and after a day of snow is very welcome.

I recommend having your own rubber shoes for the Spa area because the surface is very slippery in the single use shoes you receive.

Nice boutique hotel situated just on one of the 2 main squares, you could see the Bridge of Lies from our room.

Great location, right by the bridge of lies in Piata Mare with great views of the square behind.

Lovely boutique hotel with huge stylish rooms right in the heart of the town next to the bridge of lies.

Casa Luxemburg has the perfect location on the small square next to the bridge of lies.

We had the corner room on the second floor which must be the best as it is very big and has two aspects with nice views over the small square and the bridge of lies.

Fabulous position overlooking The Bridge of Lies and the square.You can park on the square and there is a charge.

The hotel was almost adjacent to the bridge of lies, an easy stroll from the council tower with its amazing views over Sibiu and a couple of blocks walk from the Holy Trinity Cathedral.

Located right next to the bridge of lies in the small square, and just a minutes walk to the large square.

The only con is that there is no lift, so you need to lug your luggage 3 floors (in our case).

The hotel does not have an elevator and the rooms have very old and used furniture.

There’s no elevator so you should take that in to account if you have trouble carrying luggage up steps.

but they do provide you with a fan and no elevator so a little tricky to carry heavy bags up the stairs but overall a lovely stay and would highly recommend!

Only downside: the room's on the second floor and no elevator, so pack light.

Our room was on the 2nd floor via an old wooden spiral staircase, no elevator from what I could see.

Bring only what you require as there’s no lift and our room was on the second floor up a curved staircase; not something you’d want to drag heavy luggage up.

You do need to carry your luggage up the two flights of stairs though.

Stairs could be a problem if you had a lot of luggage.

Only advise for travellers is there will be stairs to ascend with your luggage.

In the beginning, no parking allowed in the piata really mattered because it made luggage download time consuming.

Rooms were spacious and airy - You can open the windows for a cool breeze should you want.

Room was extremely spacious, and overlooked Liars' Bridge.

The staff were very responsive and I was impressed by how quickly they would reply.

The receptionists were very helpful and supplied us with a plug adaptor as ours was of a slightly wider bore than what is used there.

The 3 women in the reception area were so pleasant, so helpful and so incredibly welcoming that we plan to use Casa Luxembourg as our go- to hotel going forward.

Staff were very helpful in advance of our stay.

AnnaMaria is at the Tourist Office/Hotel Reception downstairs and she was very helpful with restaurant recommendations, an idea of how to catch a bus going to ASTRA closer than the train station, and helping us with train routes.

but we liked the location, staff and ample breakfast.

We were able to check in straight away and the receptionist gave us a very warm welcome.
