Very noisy heating system with loud motor noise when running and loud bang each time it reached temp and turned off.

Aircon sounded like toilet filling up when it cut off when reached temp setting,even when turned off it still sounded like water,we were moved to another room and guess what same problem so wife sleeper in car till she got to cold,my advice don’t stay in this hotel in the colder months.

However, in this small room, where we have no escape ,we are subjected to the noise of everyone’s air conditioning and / plumbing.

but actual price $149 (seasonal I was told)
they ask for your vehicle rego then charge an extra $5.00 for overnight parking (8 hrs)

My primary difficulty was that i stayed in an upstairs room next door to the air conditioning or other machinery - this loudly vibrated the entire room all night.

The air conditioner was noisy and woke us on many occasions, not too great after arriving on the late flight.

However the plumbing and air conditioning can be noisy enough to keep you awake.

although I had trouble with the aircon and found it a bit cold at night,.

but it would have been better if the bathroom had an exhaust fan.

It offers complementary airport transport from about 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. After these hours, you can take a taxi or Uber. I did find the thermostat difficult to operate and it turned out that the device was set for "cooling" when the outside temperature was going down to the low "teens."

Shame about the uncomfortable bed and the aircon was a bit noisy.

although the air conditioning was a little noisy.

but it seemed to be blowing cold air and there was no improvement after 20 minutes.

You cannot alter the fan speeds on the air conditioning.

but an air conditioning unit or something else like it that cut in and out all night so I very little sleep, everything else about the hotel was excellent (the only reason for a low sleep quality rating).

The heating was also very noisy and had to be turned off for me to sleep.

The air-conditioning ducts within the suite make an awful rattle noise (even when not turned on!).

No air-conditioning or ceiling fans in the  bedroom.

however the aircon was only in the lounge room and did not reach the bed room, with no aircon or ceiling fans it was a very uncomfortable sleepless night with temperatures in Hobart reaching 38 degrees.

So close to the Airport so only took a minute or two to get to.

And if dropping car off at airport do not need to stay so close to airport .Really do not need 200 characters to review Hotel.

The shuttle to and from the airport was fantastic and saved us a lot of worry.

Great location for the airport and handy for everything east of Hobart.

They are efficient, helpful, and just right for an early start at the airport.

but you are next to the airport after all.

Would stay here again and highly recommend to anyone needing accommodation near airport.

We will definitely stay again and eat in house, also easy to organise a driver to the airport at very early time.

It is only a couple of minutes drive from the hotel to the airport.

It was easy to find , had very  helpful staff who  made it a  great short stop off and a stones throw from the airport too.

As our flight was later in the evening, thought best to stay near airport as picking up hire vehicle next day.

I normally find airport hotels to be convenient

Chose to stay here to be close to the airport.

And they have a courtesy bus which was handy to get to the airport.

Was given late checkout and free shuttle to airport .

Overall, a fairly comfortable stay within walking distance to the airport and right on the main road to go and explore Tasmania.

The location is perfect for me as the proximity to the airport and office make it the perfect location for my regular business trips without the hassle of heading into Hobart.

Other than that, a good option if you wanted to be close to the airport.

although near the airport road, it was nice to be able to sit outside after a long flight.

Abbey located a computer repair shop in the Hobart CBD and the shop was able to restore my devices.

This hotel is in a great location if flying out of Hobart early in the morning.

Very good location as we had a 6am flight to catch the next day.

Owing to the early morning flight home, I find the hotel conveniently located and staff friendly in arranging a transportation service to airport.

When I asked about booking a taxi to takes us to the campervan hire location the next morning, they offered to take us in the hotel shuttle which was really great.

We found the location perfect for us at that time and the room was very comfortable and clean.

Too expensive for the Friday night stay, based on its poor location with respect to what it offered and it being quite far from Hobart.

), we discovered that this time the cleaning standard was poor.

but the staff makes it a poor experience.

The chef knew his stuff  and I could see the poor man's embarrassment at having to serve what can only be described as sub par, money grubbing rubbish.

$24 for Chicken Schnitzel that normally is between $18 to $20 elsewhere with gravy that was no more than a stain on the crumbed coating plus a poor excuse of a salad.

but is actually pretty poor fish and chips.

Not very happy no sleep all night, poor performance by Travelodge.

And for the third time I've had poor sleep, in spite if asking each time, for a room that was away from ambient noise, if possible (and checked in early enough to secure this, if possible).

Cannot recommend based on very poor quality of sleep.

The same girl was on from the night before, so poor her for one, I do know her pain.

The place is let down by the lack of service in the restaurant which I found very poor, I would not dine there again.

Had to spend a night here before our flight because of poor weather.

Bathrooms were poor with damage to the door rob hook.

We  changed dates at last minute, we were able to check in early and staff were extremely helpful.

The staff , amenities and attitudes were the very best.

Delightful staff, and the place was very clean and comfortable.

Our plane arrived in Hobart late evening - the staff were very welcoming and accommodating.

Stayed for airport early flight, staff and meals were great, nothing was any trouble to them.

The staff couldnt have been nicer, always willing to help.

We also had nearly no water pressure in the morning so could not shower.

Bathroom was outdated, towels were old and need replacing, no shower/toilet mats/shampoo/conditioner/body wash or hairdryer.

but when you don’t want to take a shower or your shoes off or even get in bed we certainly weren’t staying another night.

The rooms well that's another story, step back in time, pink bathroom dirty with toilet paper so thin you can see through it.

The sensor lights in the toilet were a joke facing the wrong way.

No tissues were present anywhere in the suite.

The layout of the apartment was a bit inconvenient as the bathroom, toilet and kitchen were located inside one of the bedrooms.

The spa jets weren't working in the bath, and water leaked from the tap while the bath was running,

Considering the price paid I expected a higher level of standard, I love antiques however the cottage was cluttered, bathroom freezing no heater and definitely requires updating, little things make the difference like matching crockery etc( maybe I am picky)

The "tower room", which I booked was 3 flights of stairs up, the bed looked like a sway back donkey and the bathroom was down 1 flight with no light in the stairway !! !

but oddly shaped so the shower room was very small and tight.

Unfortunately there were more negatives than positives so here we go:
The room was huge and homely with a humongous bathroom, the location was ideal for trips into Richmond.

but the rooms, linens, bathrooms were rather subpar.

but cant lean back ..very hard to cook meal as untensils not there.had a spa but older and sore  knee very hard to climb into as thats where shower is as well ..not good.and the  bed well you have to be joking So uncomfortable every time you  move wakes up partner squeaks so loud.

Individual toiletries were not provided, shower had one pump bottle of shampoo to share, so was the soap for the sink.

Building needs tlc tiles coming off in bath room ect, bed slopes to center with 2 people in it.

The bathroom was also dated and had cobwebs with 'horseflies' caught in them.

The owner / mnager was very friendly and helpful and we were also greeted by two cute small dogs.

We really enjoyed our stay, owners so friendly and lovely.

Service is also very friendly and helpful.

Plenty of animals including beautiful friendly dogs, sheep and horses.

Hosts were very friendly and have built and owned the Manor for many years.

Spend your brakfast with horses, sheeps, dogs and friendly people.

The prices were great value for money, very friendly staff id recommend people come down and stay here.

The proprietor was friendly and helpful and provided the smelly ensuite gets fixed the large garden room is lovely.

The home looks lovely from the outside, as you walk in the reception there is a quirky big wooden lion and lovely collection of antique furniture, the staff were friendly.

though we all love animals and the dogs were very tame, I am not sure that that is very OH & S friendly.

Pet sheep, friendly little dogs, ducks and horses.

Owners, Colin and Jeanette Hatcher are friendly and given us a great hospitality.

We stayed in the St Johns Apartment , a large space , the property is easy to find , Friendly Hosts and staff, they have decent food , probably the only problem was the sofa lounge combination cannot be used for seating , probably needs replacing.

The service was just right, friendly, helpful staff made us feel comfortable for a lovely relaxing evening.

Check in was easy, the lady who showed us to our room was friendly.

Friendly, quiet, comfortable, and just the loveliest princess castle experience!

Kids loved the animals on the property- feeding horses and little dogs running about.

All the kids staying loved the farm animals.

Would book again and certainly suits families with young children or people just wanting to get away from it all!

Had another wonderful stay at Hatchers Manor, as usual my daughter did not want to leave!

We loved the animals as much as our children did!

I think it would be good for people with children as well as it is on a farm with animals.

Delightful family run working fruit farm and hotel / restaurant where we took the Grandkids for overnight stay and exploring nearby attractions.

The kids loved that it was a working farm and that they had access to rips apricots from the tree.

Sheep, horses and Alpacas for the kids to enjoy.

This is the perfect place to stay with kids, larger groups, and for anyone looking for somewhere different to stay :)

All in all it is a lovely place to stay, close to Richmond and lots of animals for kids to see.

What a lovely find for families with young children.

My son hasnt stopped laughing at the animals who stroll by the house.

Lovely place if have young children, they can play around with lots of pets, horses and goats,.., and Apricot conserve is delicious to brig home.

The best place for kids and family.The best food I have eaten in a long long time and the farm animals are amazing and long walks along beautiful orchids I have seen and amazing wild life as well.

The large pink bathroom was huge and a bit of waste of space.

Before dinner we walked down to the fields and petted sheep and horses and looked at the beautiful fruit trees, my bed had a heated mattress which was great and the bathroom was huge with a great bathtub.

We spent 8 days here and enjoyed our stay in room 4, a nicely presented room, spacious, clean and tidy, comfortable bed for a good nights sleep, kitchenette, air conditioning that works perfectly, large bathroom with spa bath, wifi, quiet rural setting, good value.

The room was fully equipped with a microwave, refrigerator, a bathtub with jets, and a large shower with a hand held head.

The bathroom in our room was huge and included a spa and a very spacious shower. Very nice stay :)

I thoroughtly enjoyed the big tub in our bathroom.

We stayed 2 nights in a lovely old room with dark wooden furniture and a four poster bed, the bathroom was huge and very clean.

I think that this room is also to cater for wheelchair persons as the bathroom was huge and rails on walls etc.

Their spacious rooms included everything you need including fridge, microwave, sink and bench space, stunning four-poster queen size beds and a very spacious bathroom including shower and two-person spa bath.

Our room was very spacious and comfortable with a very large bathroom and a great spar bath.

Like a farm stay with twists -  lots animals wandering about everywhere, horses, dogs, ducks  and chooks.

I couldn’t believe her complete disregard for other pets!?!

We travel everywhere with our 3 dogs in tow and in all of our travels across the country, the most pet friendly accommodation we have found was right here.

Access to farm animals was limited- we saw a goat, horse, chicken and dog

The place is certainly unique - horses, sheep, chooks, dogs and the peaceful sound of birds.

It was delightful to be able to watch the sheep,ducks,chickens and 2 very cute small dogs.

My room is clean the spa is amazing and the four poster bed is to die for so happy with our room there is a farm right outside our window you can see ponies alpacas sheep the two friendly dog residents mitzy and kiara are adorable

Relaxing environment, friendly pets and serene grounds to chill amongst.

The animals are a lovely touch, especially the dogs, and the ponies which the staff will happily go and find you something to feed them.

but we're not snobs and we wanted comfort, quiet and dog friendly, animal loving accommodation.

We enjoyed thoroughly enjoyed the friendly service and the young people that came with us loved the Horses, Sheep, Goat and friendly small pet dogs that come with great country feel that is part of Hatchers Manor.

I have read that the dogs were a nuisance for other people,

Kids also loved feeding the animals and playing with the dogs.

Please lift your game and stop charging overpriced rates for the quality you are providing.

but old and overpriced for the condition of the place.

I feel quite sad about not being able to rate it higher, it looked so promising online.

Some items are heinously overpriced and you should check the bill carefully before you pay.

This was pre booked and paid via a travel agent so I’m not sure how much we paid.

We didn't like driving on the cobble stones is not needed at entrance , place does need money upgrading on it , and so much un used acres was weird and shuld be selling off a lot to re put back into the hotel area , so there is more to do there and put some staff on to run that bigger place would be a fantastic place to go , was my thoughts , lady there trying to do everything her self would be hard on her , could not believe all the beautiful old original antique furniture in the rooms and her house was awesome , prices are great.

but we didn't use it so are unable to rate the speed of connection.The stair railings need urgent repair work as they move when using them.

Breakfast is not supplied, so if you go down for a hot breakfast this is an additional cost.

thank God we carry spares, The meals were expensive (according to a fellow guest) and serves were small. AND to top it all off we had to go out and buy our own toilet roll due to the cheap rolls provided which wouldn't do the job (If you know what I mean !!)

Hatcher Richmond Manor was the most expensive and certainly didn't deliver.

Restaurant is very pricey for what you get.

This was somewhat pricey for the quantity we received.

The print out only shows a part or what was paid.

Couldn't believe that this was the place we had booked for the price.

To the owners credit, I did end up receiving a refund for only half of the total rate on my credit card the next day.

why did I need to pay extra when this is not advertised on the menu.

all in all the deception in regards to the ridiculous price for the dinner,and the dirty apartment means we will NOT be wasting $921 for 4 days stay.

Without a car it's an expensive hike from town and not a great deal to do.

but price of a four star establishment - just does not add up.
