Very noisy heating system with loud motor noise when running and loud bang each time it reached temp and turned off.

Aircon sounded like toilet filling up when it cut off when reached temp setting,even when turned off it still sounded like water,we were moved to another room and guess what same problem so wife sleeper in car till she got to cold,my advice don’t stay in this hotel in the colder months.

However, in this small room, where we have no escape ,we are subjected to the noise of everyone’s air conditioning and / plumbing.

but actual price $149 (seasonal I was told)
they ask for your vehicle rego then charge an extra $5.00 for overnight parking (8 hrs)

My primary difficulty was that i stayed in an upstairs room next door to the air conditioning or other machinery - this loudly vibrated the entire room all night.

The air conditioner was noisy and woke us on many occasions, not too great after arriving on the late flight.

However the plumbing and air conditioning can be noisy enough to keep you awake.

although I had trouble with the aircon and found it a bit cold at night,.

but it would have been better if the bathroom had an exhaust fan.

It offers complementary airport transport from about 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. After these hours, you can take a taxi or Uber. I did find the thermostat difficult to operate and it turned out that the device was set for "cooling" when the outside temperature was going down to the low "teens."

Shame about the uncomfortable bed and the aircon was a bit noisy.

although the air conditioning was a little noisy.

but it seemed to be blowing cold air and there was no improvement after 20 minutes.

You cannot alter the fan speeds on the air conditioning.

but an air conditioning unit or something else like it that cut in and out all night so I very little sleep, everything else about the hotel was excellent (the only reason for a low sleep quality rating).

The heating was also very noisy and had to be turned off for me to sleep.

The air-conditioning ducts within the suite make an awful rattle noise (even when not turned on!).

No air-conditioning or ceiling fans in the  bedroom.

however the aircon was only in the lounge room and did not reach the bed room, with no aircon or ceiling fans it was a very uncomfortable sleepless night with temperatures in Hobart reaching 38 degrees.

So close to the Airport so only took a minute or two to get to.

And if dropping car off at airport do not need to stay so close to airport .Really do not need 200 characters to review Hotel.

The shuttle to and from the airport was fantastic and saved us a lot of worry.

Great location for the airport and handy for everything east of Hobart.

We will definitely stay again and eat in house, also easy to organise a driver to the airport at very early time.

It was easy to find , had very  helpful staff who  made it a  great short stop off and a stones throw from the airport too.

As our flight was later in the evening, thought best to stay near airport as picking up hire vehicle next day.

Chose to stay here to be close to the airport.

And they have a courtesy bus which was handy to get to the airport.

Overall, a fairly comfortable stay within walking distance to the airport and right on the main road to go and explore Tasmania.

The location is perfect for me as the proximity to the airport and office make it the perfect location for my regular business trips without the hassle of heading into Hobart.

Other than that, a good option if you wanted to be close to the airport.

although near the airport road, it was nice to be able to sit outside after a long flight.

Abbey located a computer repair shop in the Hobart CBD and the shop was able to restore my devices.

This hotel is in a great location if flying out of Hobart early in the morning.

Owing to the early morning flight home, I find the hotel conveniently located and staff friendly in arranging a transportation service to airport.

When I asked about booking a taxi to takes us to the campervan hire location the next morning, they offered to take us in the hotel shuttle which was really great.

We found the location perfect for us at that time and the room was very comfortable and clean.

Too expensive for the Friday night stay, based on its poor location with respect to what it offered and it being quite far from Hobart.

but the staff makes it a poor experience.

The chef knew his stuff  and I could see the poor man's embarrassment at having to serve what can only be described as sub par, money grubbing rubbish.

$24 for Chicken Schnitzel that normally is between $18 to $20 elsewhere with gravy that was no more than a stain on the crumbed coating plus a poor excuse of a salad.

but is actually pretty poor fish and chips.

Not very happy no sleep all night, poor performance by Travelodge.

And for the third time I've had poor sleep, in spite if asking each time, for a room that was away from ambient noise, if possible (and checked in early enough to secure this, if possible).

Cannot recommend based on very poor quality of sleep.

The same girl was on from the night before, so poor her for one, I do know her pain.

The place is let down by the lack of service in the restaurant which I found very poor, I would not dine there again.

Had to spend a night here before our flight because of poor weather.

My companion had ordered pavlova for dessert.

No nonsense check-in and out, and a good location and price mix.

The coffee was top notch and the cost very reasonable.

So its refreshing as always to find low prices and the option to stay only one night, within only a 15 minutes drive to the city centre.

There is the tavern which has very good meals at very good prices.

We are meal in the restaurant again lovely staff the food well priced and drinks cheap.

Like Carol I am unable to recommend this motel despite the rooms being very nice and the price very reasonable.

This Motel and Tavern is well priced, definitely worth a look.

A short walk and we were in the tavern enjoying a tasty, well priced meal with friendly, accommodating staff.

We were lucky to find a room at Best Western and which was reasonably priced for a last minute booking during easter.

It was extremely well priced and a good standard with the room being both new and very clean.

The room was clean, neat and tidy and the reverse cycle airconditioner kept us nice and warm.

Both rooms were very clean and had that fresh smell about them, telling us that they had been cleaned properly.

Secondly,we had issues with the smoke detector.

the down side was the smoke alarm going off a couple of times during the night for no apparent reason.

So not only does the room with the smoke in alarm, so do the other rooms next to that one.

With the same wi-fi speeds we experienced in the first room, definitely not.

Only problem we had was the wifi wasnt very strong.

We found the WiFi very hit and miss it has been like this since the last time we stayed in January 17

Internet does not work from the rooms, so you will need to go to the reception area which is a clear disappointment and that you will need to take into account!

Poor WIFI Connection throughout my 3 nights stay in Best Western Foreshore Motel.

as with a lot of Tasmania, the wifi is not reliable.

The only annoying thing was that the wifi didn't work, and after many efforts of trying we eventually gave up.

It would seem so much easier to just have it open with an initial logon or just offer the guests a password that is valid for their stay.

The only gripes were WI FI did not work in room at all both stays and the toilet seat very uncomfortable and you can hear water pipes from next door if other guests leaving early and entrance door needs rubber extention on bottom of door as wind and cold comes in through the gap which I had to put a towel down to stop breeze

but we were let down by it's failure to resolve the WIFI problem we experienced despite valiant efforts by it's staff. That was frustrating, but to us, important (we note previous reports highlight the wifi problem, so it's not new)

My teenage son definitely not impresssed at not being able to connect to wifi

We also had nearly no water pressure in the morning so could not shower.

Bathroom was outdated, towels were old and need replacing, no shower/toilet mats/shampoo/conditioner/body wash or hairdryer.

but when you don’t want to take a shower or your shoes off or even get in bed we certainly weren’t staying another night.

The rooms well that's another story, step back in time, pink bathroom dirty with toilet paper so thin you can see through it.

The sensor lights in the toilet were a joke facing the wrong way.

No tissues were present anywhere in the suite.

The layout of the apartment was a bit inconvenient as the bathroom, toilet and kitchen were located inside one of the bedrooms.

The spa jets weren't working in the bath, and water leaked from the tap while the bath was running,

Considering the price paid I expected a higher level of standard, I love antiques however the cottage was cluttered, bathroom freezing no heater and definitely requires updating, little things make the difference like matching crockery etc( maybe I am picky)

The "tower room", which I booked was 3 flights of stairs up, the bed looked like a sway back donkey and the bathroom was down 1 flight with no light in the stairway !! !

but oddly shaped so the shower room was very small and tight.

Unfortunately there were more negatives than positives so here we go:
The room was huge and homely with a humongous bathroom, the location was ideal for trips into Richmond.

but the rooms, linens, bathrooms were rather subpar.

but cant lean back ..very hard to cook meal as untensils not there.had a spa but older and sore  knee very hard to climb into as thats where shower is as well ..not good.and the  bed well you have to be joking So uncomfortable every time you  move wakes up partner squeaks so loud.

Individual toiletries were not provided, shower had one pump bottle of shampoo to share, so was the soap for the sink.

Building needs tlc tiles coming off in bath room ect, bed slopes to center with 2 people in it.

The bathroom was also dated and had cobwebs with 'horseflies' caught in them.

Kids loved the animals on the property- feeding horses and little dogs running about.

All the kids staying loved the farm animals.

Would book again and certainly suits families with young children or people just wanting to get away from it all!

Had another wonderful stay at Hatchers Manor, as usual my daughter did not want to leave!

We loved the animals as much as our children did!

Specially Recommend to families with kids.

I think it would be good for people with children as well as it is on a farm with animals.

Delightful family run working fruit farm and hotel / restaurant where we took the Grandkids for overnight stay and exploring nearby attractions.

The kids loved that it was a working farm and that they had access to rips apricots from the tree.

Sheep, horses and Alpacas for the kids to enjoy.

This is the perfect place to stay with kids, larger groups, and for anyone looking for somewhere different to stay :)

We can't thank the crew here enough for the warm welcome, the cheery conversations, and the fabulous views! !

All in all it is a lovely place to stay, close to Richmond and lots of animals for kids to see.

We would recommend this accomodation especially to families with a little girl like ours - with a 'princess' fascination!

What a lovely find for families with young children.

My son hasnt stopped laughing at the animals who stroll by the house.

Lovely place if have young children, they can play around with lots of pets, horses and goats,.., and Apricot conserve is delicious to brig home.

The best place for kids and family.The best food I have eaten in a long long time and the farm animals are amazing and long walks along beautiful orchids I have seen and amazing wild life as well.

Large bathroom with shower over a spa bath.

The large pink bathroom was huge and a bit of waste of space.

Before dinner we walked down to the fields and petted sheep and horses and looked at the beautiful fruit trees, my bed had a heated mattress which was great and the bathroom was huge with a great bathtub.

Room nice and clean and very large , king size bed , large bathroom with  good quality towels , the room was nice and quite as its on a farm with views down to Richmond , you can see the old StJohns chruch from Hatchers Manor , we had a great day at Mt Field National Park

Great to have a huge bathroom and proper toilet etc.

It provides two bedrooms, a huge bathroom with spa bath, a kitchen and a combined dining/lounge.

Old style cottage style buildings set on acres of countryside, ours included a pretty large room with an equally large bathroom and 1ding dong` a four poster bed.
