Very noisy heating system with loud motor noise when running and loud bang each time it reached temp and turned off.

Aircon sounded like toilet filling up when it cut off when reached temp setting,even when turned off it still sounded like water,we were moved to another room and guess what same problem so wife sleeper in car till she got to cold,my advice don’t stay in this hotel in the colder months.

However, in this small room, where we have no escape ,we are subjected to the noise of everyone’s air conditioning and / plumbing.

My primary difficulty was that i stayed in an upstairs room next door to the air conditioning or other machinery - this loudly vibrated the entire room all night.

The air conditioner was noisy and woke us on many occasions, not too great after arriving on the late flight.

However the plumbing and air conditioning can be noisy enough to keep you awake.

although I had trouble with the aircon and found it a bit cold at night,.

but it would have been better if the bathroom had an exhaust fan.

It offers complementary airport transport from about 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. After these hours, you can take a taxi or Uber. I did find the thermostat difficult to operate and it turned out that the device was set for "cooling" when the outside temperature was going down to the low "teens."

Shame about the uncomfortable bed and the aircon was a bit noisy.

although the air conditioning was a little noisy.

but it seemed to be blowing cold air and there was no improvement after 20 minutes.

You cannot alter the fan speeds on the air conditioning.

but an air conditioning unit or something else like it that cut in and out all night so I very little sleep, everything else about the hotel was excellent (the only reason for a low sleep quality rating).

The heating was also very noisy and had to be turned off for me to sleep.

The air-conditioning ducts within the suite make an awful rattle noise (even when not turned on!).

No air-conditioning or ceiling fans in the  bedroom.

however the aircon was only in the lounge room and did not reach the bed room, with no aircon or ceiling fans it was a very uncomfortable sleepless night with temperatures in Hobart reaching 38 degrees.

So close to the Airport so only took a minute or two to get to.

And if dropping car off at airport do not need to stay so close to airport .Really do not need 200 characters to review Hotel.

The shuttle to and from the airport was fantastic and saved us a lot of worry.

Great location for the airport and handy for everything east of Hobart.

It was easy to find , had very  helpful staff who  made it a  great short stop off and a stones throw from the airport too.

As our flight was later in the evening, thought best to stay near airport as picking up hire vehicle next day.

Overall, a fairly comfortable stay within walking distance to the airport and right on the main road to go and explore Tasmania.

The location is perfect for me as the proximity to the airport and office make it the perfect location for my regular business trips without the hassle of heading into Hobart.

Payed nearly $500 a night to  sleep on a sofa bed and payed $25 for scrambled eggs and bacon which they called a Buffet I'd recommend finding a nice cafe nearby for Breakfast!

Our first night in Tasmania was at the Travelodge on arrival from Sydney, we stayed the one night having arrived late evening and following breakfast the morning after (following an excellent breakfast)  we set off on our motoring tour of Tasmania.

Don't bother to eat out as the restaurant is great for all daily meals - breakfast is unbelievable.

The continental breakfast was good, and the coffee GREAT.

i found the hotel to be very clean and comfy throughout whole hotel and rooms - the food in the restaurant was reasonably priced and delicious with a good variety and the champagne was cold and went down easily!

Owing to the early morning flight home, I find the hotel conveniently located and staff friendly in arranging a transportation service to airport.

When I asked about booking a taxi to takes us to the campervan hire location the next morning, they offered to take us in the hotel shuttle which was really great.

The chef knew his stuff  and I could see the poor man's embarrassment at having to serve what can only be described as sub par, money grubbing rubbish.

$24 for Chicken Schnitzel that normally is between $18 to $20 elsewhere with gravy that was no more than a stain on the crumbed coating plus a poor excuse of a salad.

but is actually pretty poor fish and chips.

Not very happy no sleep all night, poor performance by Travelodge.

And for the third time I've had poor sleep, in spite if asking each time, for a room that was away from ambient noise, if possible (and checked in early enough to secure this, if possible).

Cannot recommend based on very poor quality of sleep.

The same girl was on from the night before, so poor her for one, I do know her pain.

The place is let down by the lack of service in the restaurant which I found very poor, I would not dine there again.

Had to spend a night here before our flight because of poor weather.

Brekkie was delivered to our door by Kim with fresh baked bread, chook eggs, juice, cereal, yoghurt, fruit and ground coffee.

Comfortable accomodation, great breakfast basket with freshly laid eggs, baked bread and jams.

The breakfast baskets delivered each morning are a real treat with fresh made warm bread, eggs, fruit, cereal and beautiful homemade jams.

The breakfast each morning was amazing and included homemade bread and jam.

And the breakfast basket delivered by Kim was just divine, especially the freshly laid eggs!

Sharon & Kim were terrific hosts, accommodation was clean & comfortable, fresh chook eggs for breakfast and feeding the many rescue animals and pets was a joy.

Breakfast was brought by Kim at 0730hrs and it was refreshing, especially with sharran freshly baked bread and the lemon

Daily fresh bread and eggs delivered personally to the cabin plus yogurt and fruit.

Lovely breakfast basket provided each morning with eggs fresh from the chickens, juice, fruits, coffee etc.

It was neat, clean, well-kept with a double bed in one room and 2 single beds in the other room.

This b & b style farmstay has lovely modern amenities and very clean.

We loved our two bedroom apartment and the peaceful environment.

The house was well equipped and beaufifully and functionally furnished and also environmentally designed.

The farm is 2 minutes drive from the little delightful English style village of Richmond.

Tara's is ideally located 5 minutes from everything trendy and touristy Richmond has to offer yet it is a genuine Farmstay - we were greeted by the very friendly dog and Tara's 'girls' - the ducks and chooks as well as the wonderful Tara herself.

We got engaged on our first day in Tassie and Tara & Daniel did an amazing job in making the day even better for us, our room was decorated with flowers, rose petals, chocolates & candles.

The accommodation is really comfortable, warm and nicely decorated.

The master room was lovely with a solid wood bed, large thick comfortable mattress, a very warm comforter and lovely plush pillows.

What a lovely apartment, roomy, spotless, quiet and beautiful decor.

The accommodation had quality fittings, was perfect in size for our family of 4 & had endless options for kitchen cooking appliances.

The nearby town of Richmond is rich with history, preserved architecture and gourmet food, produce and restaurants.

It's nice hands-on experience seeing chics peck food from their little hands and the pony ride was very fun for them too.

Only 20 mins to HBA Airport, we recommend this most charming small B & B to all who prefer to stay in a quiet, rustic area, and with a free optional animal feeding tour thrown-in after breakfast, it was very educational, especially for city-folks like us from Singapore!

The apartment was so peaceful, spatious with a great layout, and equipped with everything you need - Tara even supplied a bright little Christmas tree!

The room was so comfy, so new and well-furnished my husband did not want to step out of the farm. In fact, I scrapped my 2nd day itinerary completely & just stayed on the farm to enjoy its beauty, the friendly animals (I miss Blackie the dog!)

The room and toilet are clean, well-kept and spacious.

A kitchenette with utensils, toaster, microwave etc are provided.There is a washing machine with soap provided and clothes can be hung out to dry

The accommodation had plenty of space and a well equipped kitchen.

It was nice to have our own kitchen to cook up some goodies.

It is well set up with open plan kitchen and lounge, a good selection of DVD's and some paperbacks to pick through.

The smaller apartment has a little kitchen and there is even a washing machine so we were able to leave with clean clothes.

Taras thought of everything you might need for cooking and provides kitchen appliances like bread toaster, rice cooker, sandwich maker and microwave oven and small items like pots/pans and grater/slicer etc.

The fridge was medium sized and worked well and Tara also has the washing machine there and provided enough detergent powder for 2 washes.

Modern, clean and cheerful, with a well equipped kitchen (comes with washer), it was the perfect self-catering apartment.

Cooking was a breeze as the kitchen was pretty well equipped and the 2 grocery stores in Richmond town (a short drive away) are well stocked with locally grown veg and meats.

We were provided a high chair, bowls and cups for kids, a travel cot, kids bath, kids toys and dvds.

The breakfast is very generous and we cooked dinner for ourselves in the well-equipped kitchen which thankfully included an oven.

Also did a tour around the farm feeding animals in the morning, it was lovely meeting all of their animals around the farm and Sharon's affection towards her animals are so inspiring and full of love.

The farm tour was fantastic, and I wished we did it both days. Sharon loves all her animals and the kids (and us!)

Lastly, the farm tour was interactive and informative.

And then there is her amazing collection of animals especially Blackie - her very friendly and cheeky golden retriever who just loves a cuddle - and her farm animal feeding tour is a must.

The tour of the animals and the property in the morning was great, especially for citydwellers like us!

There are tours of the farm, lots of animals for children to see and Richmond is a delightful town to explore.

The farm tour was educational and exciting with the variety of farm animals available.

Tara took us for a tour about the farm discussing how they manage their animals and produce, how they are building 2 more cottages for stays, and anything else.

We went on the farm tour and enjoyed meeting the animals and hearing about the establishment.

We stayed for 2 nights, Tara is so friendly and we got a wonderful tour of the farm including getting to feed the animals.

We would recommend this Farmstay to anyone, especially if you have young children who would delight in the tour and feeding of the animals.

Tara was very welcoming and we learnt a lot about farm life in the farm tour.

Back to the farm stay, my kids love the animal feeding tour, it's an awesome experience for them, esp coming from the city.

We also picked raspberries, rode on Flossy the pony and on a tractor, enjoyed Tara's own wine, and learnt how to call cows and convince speedy pet rabbits to hop back into their cage.

We also enjoyed the animal feeding, the tour of the farm and picking the raspberries and strawberries.

Breakfasts are perfect - a wonderful porridge with grated apple and walnut crumble, then eggs and bacon,  finally toast with house-made marmalade.

Breakfast, well I'm still wishing I was there sitting in the kitchen, chatting and enjoying the breakfast being prepared by their incredibly talented chef.

The tasting menu for dinner was exceptional, together with an excellent breakfast, where you can sit in the sunny conservatory or inside the old house in front of the fire.

All of our meals were superb - the 5 course degustation dinner, breakfast, afternoon tea, and the light dinner options were delicious.

The staff were friendly and welcoming, afternoon tea in the lovely garden was a bonus and the breakfast freshly cooked to order in genteel surroundings was truly excellent.

Breakfast in the conservatory with our very own chef was decadent.

We dined in the restaurant and had the most wonderful meal, a five course degustation consisting of a Bass Strait scallop starter, sugar cured beef fillet, Tasmanian seafood dumpling, free range pork loin and a Huon Valley apple desert.

Food, both at breakfast and dinner , was beautifully presented and delicious.

The breakfast was equally impressive with a huge selection to chose from.

Breakfast was good and fresh orange juice was very nice.

The room was gorgeous; large and airy and beautifully furnished, The bathroom was modern with plentiful hot water (always a plus).

The hotel had wonderful public spaces and included a delicious breakfast.

We had a superb two  course dinner and breakfast was delicious with lots of gluten free options available .

On a recent visit to Tasmania our friends arranged a stay at Prospect House in Richmond which included dinner and breakfast.

The fine dining was exactly that ,beautiful dinner and the breakfasts superb.Thankyou for the great experience.
