The whole Padma hotel fantastic especially the breakfast.

The staff are all very helpful and friendly,  breakfast is great, so many options of fresh food and fruit, and barista coffee on offer which was on point as well.

Breakfast in the club lounge was relaxing and delicious, additionally drinks each night in the lounge are so much fun

Excellent food, had Balinese/Indonesian buffet (satay & babi guling it was yummy and enjoyed balinese dance performance).

Lots of choices for breakfast, can try different things almost every day.

Resort facilities like gym and breakfast were great.

The breakfast is HUGE and wonderful, there is almost to many options.

The staff are just beautiful, even to having a kids area at breakfast for them to play after eating, so that the kids can be occupied while you relax and enjoy your breakfast.

The breakfast has so much variety and again, service is without fault.

My personal favourite is the Balinese Omelette and Cheese Croissants!

The breakfasts are delicious, so much choice.

Really nice stay, everything was really nice we have stayed here many times only thing we noticed was that the included breakfast has cut down and seems not to have as much choice as previous years.

We enjoyed the nightly cocktail hour from 5pm-7pm where they served buffet style small bites; one night we had sushi.

We had a great time at this resort, the place is beautiful, manicured garden and wonderful spot to relax and enjoy the sunset.

The gardens are immaculate and beautiful.

The staff are so friendly and welcoming, the resort is beautiful with all its gardens and pools, plus there is an abundance of activities to do.

Had a wonderful 10 nights in a Garden Club Chalet.

Excellent place, huge garden, many pools(lagoon, infinity & kid pool), modern design in the each room, beach just at the back of the resort, walking distance to shopping center/shop/ pasar seni.

The gardens, facilities, food and drinks are all incredible,

So happy to return to Padma post covid, They certainly didn't sit on their laurels, much of the staff worked on the gardens and general maintenance during the closure and the place looks absolutely stunning.

The gardens are impeccable, service is top notch, I honestly couldn't fault it and can't wait to go back.

We prefer the chalets upstairs, near the dragon statue in the garden.

above all a beautiful environment and gardens and pools and rooms and of course lovely staff.

Sumei the Manager at Garden Club is also an asset to the Padma, he is amazing, and it was great seeing him again.

The amenities are 1st class, food is excellent, surrounding gardens are immaculate and the staff are so nice and helpful, nothing is too hard for them and they always have a nice welcoming smile.

The gardens and pools were absolutely awesome.

Plus the hotel and gardens and pools are so beautiful and the food is amazing and the spa is great.

Everything at the Padma was beautiful - the staff, grounds, our chalet, gym, spa, food, location.

However as always with the Padma, from security, to housekeeping, to the grounds staff, and the pool staff - all fantastic who genuinely care for their guests and get excited to see you back.

The pools and facilities were incredible and the grounds were maintained very well.

The whole team were amazed on our clean rooms, sparkling pools, and extremely tidy hotel grounds.

The grounds of the resort are stunning, there are 4 pools and always deck chairs available.

Although, I cannot remember her name at the moment, the young lady who remembered my birthday and organized a bday cake and song for me during dinner and also the gentleman who assisted me upon check in with my luggage and would always offer suggestions of Bali highlights when I ran into him on the grounds.

We loved our stay at the Padma fantastic grounds and pool.

The people and the grounds, hotel room staff are so helpful and attentive.

Condition of the property was superb, grounds were amazing, food excellent, staff were so accommodating, nothing too much trouble.

It was exactly like the pictures, clean very well every day and we really liked the location within the resort grounds.

The vast grounds and gardens are beautiful and the 4 pools have something to offer guests of all ages.

No matter which table you sat in, there was always a stunning view of the resort grounds.

Everything was so great, the value for money, the staff oh what a lovely team of staffs, the food (nasi padang breakfast was the best), the gardens, the room with our own little patio and mini garden (thank you for the junior suite), the easy acces to the beach for beautiful Legian sunset everyday, the big pools, the kids pool, the maintaince of the ground, the cleanliness, the safe feeling,.

Darma was fantastic coaching us and the kids.

The activities all ran on time, our daughter especially liked the foam party.

We love the padma, it is the most amazing place for kids, every staff member is so kind we especially love Freddie who works around the pool at the kids area.

Highlights include : Balinese dinner with cha-cha dancers, daily pool activities, kids hair by the pool, kids cupcake decorating, water slides, kids foam and dance party, shake shake milkshakes, etc.

Our boys repeatedly told us how much they adored you, as did we!

This time being a bit older my daughter joined in with activities with Jessica for 7-12 year olds.

but for a family and what it offers for kids and catering for the adults, its a great spot!

Lots of pristine pools and kids pool with slides that makes it great for kids of all ages.

Darma didn’t just deliver our bags for us, he greeted us so warmly, and he was kind and fun with our kids - they are looking out for him to say selamat pagi again!

My husband and two adult children have stayed here with many other friends and everyone of us has loved our experience every time.

Parents getting both play time with kids and relax time with the adults, and you wanted to be treated like a guest who they are honoured to have there rather than just another number.

not only are they playful with the kids, they are always watching out for them.

Awesome, so family friendly and special mention to Parwika for looking after the kids at the pool.

He was a great teacher, very patient and the kids had so much fun.

My daughter love to feed the ducks and fish at the pond.

There also have yoga,water sport and kids activites everyday.

It was a mistake to stay here only for one night!!

From the moment we arrived we knew that we had made a terrible mistake.

Unfortunately there were a minority of Padma staff who made our stay miserable due to repeated mistakes with our bookings, (everything from meal bookings through, airport transport to ordering a coffee!).

* The guest services number you dial for Room Service/General requests on several occasions said "yes yes yes" to our requests yet did not follow through on them or made mistakes with our requests.

not good when the rest of you travelling group are located elsewhere, we made this mistake.

2nd big mistake:  on checkout we advised the staff we would be in departure lounge waiting for our transport, we were due to be collected at 4.30 so at 4.20 we made our way back to reception and sat in clear view of the reception desk.

You get to really know a person/company by how they respond to mistakes. Padma.

TIP: If you are holidaying from Europe, don't make the mistake of staying in Nusa Dua as you will end up paying 30% more for food and drink in the resort and that's why the Padma is in an ideal location.

* The TV was old, poor quality and had a permanent line running through the screen.

Given the fact the hotel was only at 60% occupancy pretty poor I think.

The rooms weren’t cleaned to a satisfactory level.. floors and showers just received a wet towel wipe over.. pretty poor

At 4.45 I asked concierge to please contact our driver, he lept up calling to the bell boy, told us our transport was in reception, they failed to mention to us that the poor man had been waiting for 1 hour 10 mins!

The poor hotel staff go out every morning and try to tidy the little strip in front of the hotel,

Service at the pool was a little slow, and staff had poor understanding of English,

To summarise the myriad of poor service and issues experienced:
- 2 days payment taken in local currency and charged FX by card compay (not clear when you are booking – as quoted in GBP), without access to the room given it was their error they did not take full payment on booking, only after a big argument were we given access to a room we’ve paid for (at least 2 days).

We had the new year party compulsory with the stay, it was expensive and unfortunately very poor effort by the hotel.

bar is 👌Had a very poor experience with another hotel so we decided to move to the padma.

Maintenance has gone off a bit and entertainment and music was poor.

Right now the view items towards the side of the hotel, so pretty poor.

Not that the food was poor, I just think it could be better..especially the club breakfasts at the SKAI club.

Only negative is poor lighting in the bathroom.

The noise of the air conditioner fan is very loud.

but the air conditioner kept leaking water onto the floor and only got fixed after the third complaint.

Bed was incredibly uncomfortable and fan & AC very noisy ( worn out )

Overall I can not recommend this Hotel or Location to future guests.

anyway they finally moved us later in the day to a ground level room far from the pool ,with initially a horrible paint fume smell .then for the next 3 days had to put up with a noisy clunky air conditioner that they wouldn't fix .the bed felt like concrete was very hard waking up sore every day  .Overall very bad experience ,would never recommend However the food was ok

We did learn while I was there that a storm power failure knocks out the unit

Deluxe poolside room was dated,rundown, bathroom fittings disgusting,fridge dirty and a/c not working on arrival.

The ceiling fans in both rooms we stayed in were covered with dirt and dust and needed a good clean.

A little disappointed with hotel because we had an air conditioner issue (was leaking water all over the floor) called reception to come and fix and no one ever showed up.

Our room aircon made broke down one night only to be informed by the maintenance guy that the aircon was unserviced and dirty, can only be serviced next day morning.

however the fan was almost falling off the roof when turned on so couldn’t be used.

Our first room was average, fan made squeaking noise all night, air con didn’t work properly, shower had a broken handle and there was limited hot water.

Had trouble with aircon.. customer service at reception could have been better.

First night no beds set up for kids, then bathroom door knob comes out, air conditioner not working, then today cricket World Cup is on

The bed was a bit firm and could be improved with a mattress topper as provided by many hotels and I agree that the ceiling fans need to be replaced with silent, newer style fans (although we just used the air-conditioning instead). This is a quieter area of Bali with enough restaurants within walking distance or quick taxi at night or 10 minutes drive from Nusa Dua ( or we ate from the bar menu)

Air Con is miserable with no adjustment of temperature available.

We had one more issue with a lizard in our room - housekeeping arrived at our room to say he couldn't find it and that it had probably went up to the air conditioning and to call him if we seen it again.

We had issues with our air conditioner , we were unable to change the temperature or fan speed on the wall panel so we called for maintenance.

but the aircon was next to useless and pretty noisy.

You can have a breakfast while see the sea.

Overall, despite the issue on breakfast quality, we still enjoyed and loved our stay in Novotel Bali Benoa.

I remembered was given free extra bed and breakfast with lots of kids menu for my kids.

Despite the low occupancy the hotel was still doing a small breakfast buffet which was good

The breakfast was good tho not perfect, we wasted a few foods due to the designated breakfast package, I think it would be better if we are able to choose some additional option with reasonable price without having a whole package.

but they served more than enough breakfast in the room.

The hotel location is good  sports activities and I enjoyed the food in the hotel and also the breakfast and the fresh flowers daily and the beach view with the nice Jacuzzi in the hotel and swimming pool and the spa it was relaxing as well

good location and private beach access,staff very friendly and helpful.great breakfast and good restaurant on property also near by convenience market and restaurants..i want to say thanks to the management and staff's for being so particular about the sanitary conditions,cleaniness and hand sanitizers every where.

The breakfast is exceptional especially the omelettes the wonderful Wayan makes.

Devi and Celia were so supportive in a difficult time and it was lovely to be greeted by so many familiar smiling staff members; Wayan who makes the best breakfast omelettes, the Pool Manager whose tricky name always slips past us friendly and welcoming as usual, the barman at CoCo's who makes outstanding strawberry mojitos, the wonderful wait staff, and pretty much everybody.

The breakfast was excellent with an excellent choice of food for all tastes, in fact the food was so good we ate most of our meals there next to the beach.

Breakfast was a Buffet with enough to choose from.

It was a relaxing environment, good buffet breakfast and large pool.

our time here was just perfect, The Hotel , room , pools, breakfast and every member of staff we met were just lovely, i honestly can not find a fault in our stay, we had the perfect holiday in gorgeous surroundings, our room was cleaned to perfection every single day.

Breakfast buffet was good , different food everyday.

We also believed that the breakfast selection was average, when compared with similar hotel star ratings.

The breakfast is of good standard with lots of variety.

Bu Maya prepared our favorite room (#822; Oceanfront Beach Cabana), the same exact room we stayed during Christmas 2020.

After completed check-in procedures, we were immediately escorted to our ocean view beach cabana room (room # 822).

Our room, this time a beachside cabana, was excellent including cleaning and turndown service, the pools and gardens always lovely, CoCo's ambience and food so nice and reclaiming the beach that had previously been eroded has now been concluded to a most attractive standard.

From small rooms with just a shower and a garden view or pool view, to larger rooms also with views, single beds to king beds, to family rooms to terrace rooms with a patio and an outdoor shower in addition to indoor shower and tub, to villas with their own pools to beach front cabanas.

We stayed in a Beach Cabana with outdoor bathtub.

All the food was delicious and the cocktails were amazing and strong at the restaurants😁 our room was beautiful Balinese style staying in the beach cabana.

though other beach cabana rooms on the other side of the pool had perfect sea views.

In saying this we did really love the cabana.

This time we booked a Beach Cabana which we have stayed in on a number of occasions a couple of years ago.

My husband I and stayed at the Novotel in Benoa for 6 nights in one of their excellent Beach Cabana Rooms.

The beach cabana is very near to the pool and the beach.

We had booked a beach cabana which was really nice.

We first stayed here as a couple in a beach cabana and have been delighted to return more than 10 years later with our son.

but I highly recommended to always book the rooms in the beach wing or the beach cabanas if you can get them, as they always seem to run out everytime I stayed there.

We stayed four nights in a Beach Cabana room and three nights in a Tropical Terrace room.

We stayed in a Beach Cabana at this fantastic resort between the 17th January and 24th January, 2018.

Novotel Benoa took a Bali traditional approach design with many garden spots giving closeness to nature feeling.

The hotel gardens are beautiful and again very well looked after.

The Novotel Benoa is a traditionally Balinese architectural resort that has been maintained and developed with beautiful gardens that are comforting to stroll through.

Our room had good views over the pool and garden.

Initially worried about staying across the road on the garden side, in the end no issues at all and thankful for the huge room that fitted our family of 5 and the PlayStation.

The property retains a Balinesian feel with thatched roofs and the gardens are spectacular.

Staff are friendly and gardens well kept.

We arrived late in the evening for check in.Our room  was on the garden side.

Walk 9j shower, maid services everyday, room service (not included as part of A/I) and a nice garden area and patio.

Resort is stunning, gardens, pools, all restaurants, the spa, I can’t fault it.

6) The pools and gardens were well maintained, clean and spacious.

Nice resort, has a beach view, never forgotten memories, the room was clean and tidy, nice garden, very cozy bedroom, has a bathtub, we enjoy stay here, the staff very friendly and polite especially Ari Utami who help me very fast when we need some amenities.

I have been upgraded from a garden room to a Bungalow.

The beach section is, as one would expect, near the beach while those in the garden section have their own pool

Our own private garden with a wonderful split blue wooden gate, the room was plenty big enough

They have a lot of entertaining facilities and the gardens around the hotel look like heaven. The food is very tasty:) this hotel has all the ingridients for a great vacation:)

Inside it smelt, the doors would not open or close.

The bedding was disgusting and despite asking the hotel for new pillows and mattress topper as they were filthy they did not change them.

Broken things in the rooms, a stench in the hallways like sewage, a ridiculous pool towel card system - I could go on & on.

The rooms are dated, not clean and have moldy type smells.

It was was nothing short of disgusting, Dirty and dingy, the bed linen was grubby and smelt of curry.

Sweeping vomit into dustpan and then sweeping the rest of the floor.

The rooms need maintenance, sheets we stained and bathroom musty and moldy.

The toilet smelt like sewer and shower was old and stained.

The lady checking us in asked me to fill out a preference sheet relating to what we'd prefer re room, pillow etc.. before I'd finished filling this out she had already handed me the room keys.. 

On arrival in the room we could see from the outset it hadn't been cleaned properly, the windows and mirrors were filthy, there was water stains on many of the walls, rubber peeling from the balcony door, bed sheets stained with what appeared to be old blood.. it goes on.

The kids room stinks and the sheets smell.

One of the rooms (438) smelled a little damp/moist,

There is a lot of watersports going on in this area so a lot of gasoline fumes and loud exhaust noises from the jetski's and parasailing boats.

but it has been washed away and replaced with a rock wall.The other major detraction is all of the jet skis, boats etc,so noisy and smelly (petrol and exhaust fumes) a real shame.

but pork bacon was in the omelet station with no label and one spoon was used for all the condiments, it's disgusting and made me sick.

The bedrooms had not been aired out for I don't know how long as there was a musty smell due to the humidity and dampness.

however it turns off when you turn the lights out so in the morning, it was rather musty.

Spa & Bodytec Seminyak, KIMA Surfari, La Karma Spa, Bali Joe Bar, Bali Jo Driver - Day Tours, Santai Shisha, PT.

Massages were very much enjoyed to relax and swim.

The duty manager was very apologetic and gave us free airport transfer back to the airport and my wife a free facial, which was appreciated.

but nice, Nusa Dua is also nice but remote no walking access to restaurants, massage & shops.

The spa ladies are very experienced and it is beautiful decor and a peaceful setting.

I had a massage in the SPA and that was lovely, it worked out at about £26 for 75 minutes - very good value.

Amidst all the restaurants (a couple of them Indian as well) & massage places & salons.

It has its own kid’s club, spa, gift shop & private beach.

The food is excellent, bed changed every other day we had 10 days here and receieved free massage, cocktails with manager , cake and cookies and fruit on first night as a thank you for booking with them i have to say i didnt want to come home and have told all freiñds and family and have strongly recommemd your hotel to them.

The brekky is bountiful, nearby cheap restaurants and Bali massage locations plentiful.

They have good service, a nice beach and pool, good restaurant, relaxing spa and kind staff.

Nearby there are some good restaurants, massage place which is great and clean is very near, groceries store, souvenir shop.

Buffet dinners,entertainment,massages & drinks included in scoop on package were all excellent & made for a good value stay.
