After having 4 holidays cancelled (Algarve and Canary Islands) due to Covid 19, we were determined to get away somewhere this year.

Went to Palmin Hotel at the beginning of august when our flights to Spain got cancelled due to covid, and it did not disappoint.

No bacon or any kind of pork due to the religion, I suppose.

but will not return due to the location of the hotel.

In 30 yrs of travelling I have never been ill maybe it was due to the hygiene and cleaning of the hotel .

Food hot and miss and not hot enough.i had a bad stomach the second week which im sure was due to the food not being heated properly,

For most of the day the speeds are glacial due presumably to the amount of people using it.

Probably wouldn't go back to the Palmin hotel due to the food.

We haven't had one nights sleep due to Paul and Donna floor 3!!

but it closed due to unrest and people being scared so we were delighted to get the same high standard in Palmin ,but then Ronan is Son of owner of Seapearl  so we didn’t expect any less from him .I just want to say to any travelers ,don’t be scared to go to this part of the country it’s very safe we can’t wait to go back .Ronan and Staff see a soon

me and my husband had booked a week before we were due to fly out and travelled on the 16th july, day after all trouble istanbul which is by no means anywhere near.

but were transferred due to closure but we wernt disappointed :))) great holiday !

Every single staff member is so polite, friendly and nothing is too much trouble.

On arrival at the hotel it appears nice and clean, nice lobby with couches and a shop, clothes shop and jewellery shop with friendly staff.

These guys work so hard they are just fantastic., so friendly and accommodating I cannot praise them highly enough.

Having a great holiday with family and friends, nice hotel fantastic staff, very friendly and helpful, and the animation team put on lots of activities through the day and provide some of the evening entertainment.

Anamtion team made it everyone of them so nice, friendly and made our experience atakan sports teacher Murat Oscar and isa.

There is only one socket in the room, no way to put your phone on charge lying on the bed, or charge 2 devices same time.

I had both of my wedding and engagement rings dipped in white gold and he did a repair for me.

I think we would call the management lier liers pants on fire!

2 sockets in a 4 person room when phones, ipads etc need constant charging is poor.

The one thing that did let the hotel down was the evening  entertainment ,poor is what I would call it.One professional act which was brilliant and the rest was the in house team.

At nights we woke up to the call, which lasts about 4 mins.,

although we took out insurance we had to pay the excess.We can only blame the hotel food as we never ate out.Food was only ever like warm.Choice of food was terrible, British people weren't really catered for unless you ate chips,bolognese, onion rings,.I only ate toast and boiled eggs the days the eggs were put on for breakfast.The two weeks we were there we ate very little.

The worst one for the incessant pressure was Farouq or "Freddy" as he calls himself, if you have teenage girls beware of him and his constant pressuring .Tip dont play the bingo it costs 11 euro and the prizes are truly appalling.

however the shows are on late which means keeping the kids entertained is quite hard in between, the kids club is deffinetley not that, it opens and closes intimitently and the girl there pays more attention to her phone than looking after the children.

Without a seat belt, on the phone and literally driving in to oncoming traffic to overtake.

One thing I will mention is you hear the calls for prayer 5 times a day, it’s a shock at first

!..the only thing which would stop me going back would be the food and being woke at 5am every morning by the mosk calling to prayer 😭 I’m such a light sleeper and was woke every single morning.

however used it as my personal call to the dinning hall, open banquet and meals cooked to order if required.

Myself and my daughter stayed here, and I have to say it was clean and welcoming.

Will definitely be back with hopefully the same staff.

The hotel is very experienced both as employee and as institution.

From the excellent receptionist and bell boy on arrival to the always smiling staff in bar areas and dining room there is too many to mention

Had an absolute ball as usual, great hotel, great staff especially the animation team and so so happy to see Murat back again he has to be the best of the crew.

As before I found everything clean and spotless, staff were lovely as usual especially the entertainment team,  Murat hadn’t been there on my last visit

Would highly recommend this hotel ,the staff go above and beyond.

I would recommend ladies beach and we ate down there a few times ladies beach bar does great meals and drinks/cocktails.

Reception during check in was very cold , disorganised - lacking in warmth and welcoming smile.

Food was diabolical ended up with food poisoning as food was often cold, they had a bad habit of putting hot food on top of the cold so you got a mixture not good.

The pools we diddnt use as a little too cold for us

Eventually plates of cold rice potatoes and chicken were placed in front of us.

The weather was a little too cold for us to swim,

The cooked breakfast items were often cold and the eggs/beans overdone.

The eggs are pre cooked along with the omelettes and left to go cold.

Cold or at best lukewarm, with little choice especially for vegetarians.

For my first dinner I tried some braised lamb casserole type dish and it was inedible, so I left it and ended up with some cold mac n cheese and some french fries. Terrible.

Food: very samey, and hot food often cold!

There are only 2 outdoor pools one of which is too cold due to the location which is overshadowed by the hotel building.

but it’s not a 5 star it’s more like a 3 star and the food is disgusting cold Brussels and cabbage for breakfast all the meals were bad had to eat out all the time , also it’s quite a noisy hotel with people in the gardens in the morning making noise .

who was very rude and miserable.Food was not wonderful,we found mostly overdone with oils and spices,it was often cold as were the plates.Puddings were mainly cakes,with a few pots of rice and mousse type dishes.Fresh fruit was available.A huge amount of chinese people used this hotel as a base,left early morning for tours and returned every evening for dinner,so a free for all at 7pm.

but my first mouthful was STONE cold so I never bothered again.

Moved rooms 3 times due to large numbers of guest arriving each night, staying one night then leaving early hours, they were very noisy, banging doors,phones going off. .

The bathroom door does not fully close so can hear anyone going to the toilet and if you are having a shower you can be seen from the bedroom due to the wall being glass so there is no privacy for our daughter.

Round by the pool with the water slides mostly everyday the music was so loud it was unbearable to sit there , i have slight hearing issues and it was way to loud to be enjoyable as were alot of the guests who regularly shouted / argued / slammed doors and smashed furniture againts floor and walls at 2 am,

The bathroom was badly designed with a stain glass wall check out pics  the door had an inch gap around  so no privacy.

The whole time I was there I wished I had booked The Infinity hotel next door.

-when we arrived our balcony door was broken, the bathroom had a funny drain like smell, one of the 2 toilet flushes didn’t work and one of the plugs were broken with prongs stuck in them.

The balconies are so close you can almost touch the neighbours door , there is no privacy there at all .

very nice clean unfortunately the patio door handle was broken.. 3times we had to report eventually they fixed it hour and half later at 2.30am: 
Only could use air condition for about 5 minutes then the smell of sewerage was unbearable, reported to Claudia .

but honestly looking at the hotel next door I’m quite jealous I’m not there.

Had a slight problem with the bathroom door

The room was also a complete disater , the walls are dirty , the floor is ruined as you can see in my pictures and in the bathroom it is always sewer smell which you can fell in all this tiny room because the door is broken and it doesn’t close.

We are staying with our teenage son and it’s not quite convenient because the bathroom is separated from the room with a glass wall and a glass door with no locks on it.

.. she then walked through the kitchen door while chewing leaving my egg to burn. .

The exterior appeared to be very insignificant in real life (compared to the pictures), the reception was small and ugly (close to what you would find in a 2/3 star hotel), the public bathrooms had the stall doors broken, so someone had to hold them for you, there were no umbrellas on the restaorant's terrace (meaning no one can eat outside and enjoy the view - which, I must admit, is indeed gorgeous).

My daughter did notice that the cleaners tend to leave all the room doors open when cleaning  so anyone could have accessed our room during this time.

For example, the bed sheets were changed only twice during our 1 week stay; the toilet and the bathroom were not cleaned after each service; the house keeper entered the room, after 1 knock on the door, in any position you were in your room!

The lift broke 3 days before we left and it was still broken when we checked out.

Not what i had paid for i had paid for club family room Which are in the buildings with no lift this should be highlighted to people when booking .

Originally booked into a room in D Block on the 4th floor, top floor with no lift.

Hotel seems to be decided between jet 2 and the rest of the world and jet 2 customers get the lesser rooms with no lifts , tiny balcony mainly obscured sea view .

although we thought was small, bathroom was very small containing shower wc and wash basin , we had very small balcony with just 2 chairs no room for table  , we did have a sea view our room was in the corner  3205 and got no sun on whatsoever ,we were aware that this block of rooms were allocated to uk holiday makers, and the main building were for foreign nationals  which had the better views and a lift.

The lifts to the upper floors are very small and you can wait a while at busy times,  there is a very small private beach which is extremely rocky.

Elevator always busy with staff and no ventilation.

It is a nice hotel we had some bumps on the Road with the service not always being friendly the first day they gave us a room where you had to go up the stairs and we have two little kids and a buggy there was no elevator not so nice and they seemed angry when we asked them to give us a new room with elevator

Blocks 3&4 are two-three stories high and DO NOT have lifts.

So we do just that get in to then stand in the lift for a couple of seconds pressing 5 and it’s not working???

We were on the 5th floor and when the lift broke, we asked what was happening and they just said 'i dont know' and walked off.

but the other 2 building has no elevator.

Dirty showers leaking showers lifts that stop and shudder and fit 3 people in the food is bland evenings is leftovers from lunch with a few extra dishes

maybe he was frustating seeing the elevator.

Lift is problem too small and just can fit 2 people with one cabin luggage.

The elevators were small, crampy and needed to be updated.

I will add, though, the block we were in was not part of the main hotel  - which is the only part of the hotel with lift facilities.

There are plenty of friendly staff around and we asked to move rooms as ours was very small.

The Hotel was very clean, staff very friendly at reception and at the bars and restaurant.

They are so friendly that make you feel as you are not in a hotel

Reception staff were always so friendly and there to help.

The entertainment team had two special guy Ramo and Reggie they are really friendly people  they make amazing our holiday

Hotel staff are very friendly and welcoming and have been very helpful throughout our stay.

Myself  & My family just came back from a brilliant family holiday at the Le Bleu, I’ve got to say the staff at the hotel are fantastic and super friendly.

He is so friendly and kind, took time to speak with all the guests and include them in on all activities.

The food was better, staff more friendly and animation team less harassing to sell bingo tickets.

but all the time we enjoyed   because  this hotel Entertainment  team very friendly and helpful  especially  for us Ramo

One of the best things were the games and animation team especially Reggie and Frank.

Luckily, there were lovely two nurses nearby who came to my aid- all the manger could say was 'call ambulance. operation'.

Animation team was very giod, especially Ramo and reggie also fran made my time really enjoyable and would come again.

Reggie from the entertainment was amazing made everyone feel really welcome and gets everyone involved the bar staff was amazing they knew what drinks had after going once the hotel was really nice the food and snack bars was always available

1)	The hotel the Barber & hairdressers, like everyone else said , the barber is actually a  nice guy

The food went down hill by the end of the week went down for breakfast hardly any staff not much choice this a shame as it’s in a lovely setting the views are amazing the sun sett is best ever most of the staff was lovely .

The staff are so attentive and couldn’t do anymore for us If they tried!

Private beach, sea pier water slides and super friendly welcoming staff.

The animation team were great especially Reggie and Fran - they took the time to chat with you and just made the holiday so enjoyable.

They started removing things such as salt and pepper from our table before we'd finished eating.

These customers were given preferential treatment, were incredibly rude and demanding, had all the mangers running round after them and even got waiter service at their tables in the bar.

The tables in the dining room were never cleaned.

If you went to get a drink while eating chances are when you got back to your table the waiters had cleared your plates even if there was food on there.

Big bottle of water on table if you get in there first.. You can find  some thing  even if is a strange mix.

This was the same for tables in the resturant and by the pool.

We had one complaint which was the clearing of table in the restaurant was slow, and also getting a drink in there was non existent.

but over priced down graded from 4 to 3 star we had room 3111 disabled sea view outside quiet pool which was lovely, only 3 coat hangers asked for 10 more got 5 husband had to pile his clothes on 1 shelf not much storage, very dark in bed area no ceiling light no sockets beside 2 dressing tables except for kettle in back of cupboard.

I went to my table and a i ate what i had on my plate , after that i was Waiting in the row to Take again that tiny slice because it was good and lady recognised me and she did not want to offer me again so we i went for the third time with 20 lira under my plate and i gave it to  her and she filled my plate , she forgot everything about portions.

but Claudia saved the day and we were booked for a table.

Also the staff who clear up plates when u are eating scrambling around the table trying to pick up empty sauce packets and clear your plate when your still eating again bloody rude!

*1st night eating tea we get told to move from our table as it was reserved for the Chinese nothing on the table to tell you this so I refused as I had eaten half my tea.

• One suggestion, the outside terrace gets very hot as there are no umbrellas, cutlery is laid out on these tables and becomes too hot to pick up.

however say that sadly some of the waiting staff do let the restaurant down with slow service & seemingly a little incapability of setting tables efficiently - we'd sometimes set our own tables as it was quicker and we'd do it right.

but they still managed to get us a table.

even though we had been in the hotel since Saturday, she goes around approaching people to fill the tables for the two restaurants and once they are full her job is done, we only spoke to her fro five minutes in the seven days we stayed at the hotel, so not sure about the good reviews left on this site regarding 'Claudia' what made them to praise her?

but you can use minibuses to get to the city easily.

The location is beautiful as you may expect with quite a bit for culture vultures ie Ephesus is 20 minutes away, and for fun seekers 2 massive waterpark 5 minutes away if the resort water slides aren't enough (they are) Kusadasi is a short taxi ride for 50'ish lira (10tl =£1) or 10tl on a local modern bus, each way.

And if you feel bored staying in the resort (I'm sure you won't be) bus #1 that travels regularly can get you to the Kusadasi city.

The only good thing i can say about this hotel is its location it does have a nice beach area and for around £0.50p the bus will take you to Kusadasi.

The dolmus minibus (route 1) stops at the main gate every 5-10 minutes and it costs just 4TL per person for the 15 minute trip into Kusadasi where you can walk along the seafront, find restaurants and genuine fake shopping bargains (be prepared to haggle - about 60% of the original price is your aim).

It's in a short cab or bus ride to Ephese, Pamucak, Pamukale and kuşadası city centre

It's only a 20 mins bus ride and only a couple of quid so well worth doing.

Yes they have shuttle bus (if there’s one available), lifts that take you to the beach

1 bus into Kusadasi from the gate of the hotel.

We were asking about what and which bus to take to city and how it works because, obviously, this is our first time in Turkey,

it was pouring down with rain when we arrived , bearing in mind we had kids ranging from ages 5 to 17 and an elderly person with us who was exhausted after the two hour trip in the mini bus from Bodrum Airport to Pine Bay.

There was a very efficient Dolmus (bus) sevice from the entrance to the resort, it was very resonably priced and only a short ride into Kusadasi, we didnt eat in town

It would be very easy for the restaurant to have a maitre d who organised the people to their tables when a waiter or bus boy had cleared one.

It’s location is also a plus point, being only a short distance from the scenic town of Kusadasi, which can be accessed by one of the frequent dolmus buses, which for a family of four only cost 12 Lira one way.

Good animation (murat & batu are fun), big hotel, not far from kusadasi by bus or taxi, aquapark is 100 meters, much fun, good food, nice animation, good shows, clean rooms, the pools are nice and the slides are also very fun!

We went into the main town a few nights , cheap bus at the end of the hotel entrance which is every 15 mins or so.

the entertainment group was friendly and nice.

Overall the staff were friendly and helpful across all of the hotel, except the young lady on the ice cream stand in the food hall, she was very rude to everybody, very stingy with the ice cream, and actually tutted when you asked for another scoop, on the one hand laughable,

We have found all the staff to be friendly, it doesn’t matter to us if English isn’t widely spoken we’re not in England!

The staff are always friendly and helpful, especially Murat at the cabanas who is always smiling no matter how busy he is.

but the vast majority are very young and clearly some were less friendly then others.

Most of the personal isn’t that friendly.

We paid for a package which included Turkish Bath, Full Body Massage and Jacuzzi with wine and fruit, absolutely amazing and the staff again were very friendly and welcoming.

The hotel with a very wide range of fun events and activities all day long, several massive clean pools and picturesque beaches, the diversity of foods, snacks and drinks served by warm and friendly staff, the acceptably clean rooms with frequent housekeeping services, having quick and easy access to the hotel well-located facilities like many WCs, towel counters, elevators, ice cream and snack bars turned our one-week stay into an amazing experience packed with tons of great memories.

They make it a work of art, especially Muhamed is a friendly man who understands his profession.

The pools are great and perfect temperature, the beaches are very nice. Staff very nice and friendly (almost all of them!)

The animation staff were not too pushy and very friendly, activities were regular and well organized, special praise to them all .

We absolutely Loved it,  clean, tidy and very friendly.

Staff, weighters and bar tenders were very nice, helpful and friendly.

He was very hard working, polite and always friendly.

A friendly environment, with great food and a lot to do.

During our stay AC wasn't working in the rooms, we asked guest relations several times to fix the problem
