Les Oliviers is not luxury, it is better!

The rooms were spotlessly clean & we enjoyed the pool & terrace areas.

Our room was immaculately clean and the bed very comfortable.

Rooms were clean tidy and had a really comfy bed.

The rooms were clean, as well as very comfortable with a fridge.

The hotel room was really clean and nice, nothing super fancy,

The reption was very friendly, the room very clean, the breakfast good -all in all value for money -  a really good place to stay.

However, being late was not a problem as we were warmly greeted & shown to a very welcome tidy room.

The rooms are very clean and the decor excellent, great reception for wifi too.

The room was spotless, with a TV and fridge and use of an iron.

The pool was great for cooling down after a long drive and the rooms were very clean and comfortable - the air conditioning helped us have a great nights sleep.

The room was small, felt cramped, and the carpet a bit dingy.

We found this hotel by looking at other reviews on Trip Advisor and a few other websites and decided to book it.

and were a bit disappointed as it felt as the hotel and also the room has seen its best days and that it urgently needed a renovation.

The building is old and very well renovated with ancient furniture and all the comfort you need (Wi-fi and satellite TV).

17th century house renovated with a twist that makes it look more like a sort of curiosity cabinet.

Yet there were a few too many things amiss to leave us with a lasting impression of a great hotel: lack of warm water, some poor fittings in the rooms, the smallness of the ‘large double’ room, two animals (a bird and a gold fish) in the hotel reception kept in highly confined conditions (seeming rather cruel and in poor taste to us).

but in need of updating: why a chair by the bed, not a table; why is the wall covering stained; why no proper mirror; why the uncomfortable (to walk on) floor coverings?

but the bulding needs necessarily a renovation.

but appears shabby and definitely needs updating and the stair covering was well worn and looked grubby.

There is a bit of renovation going on with some gentrification perhaps?

but this hotel is overpriced, outdated and run by two surprisingly inhospitable and frequently rude and abrasive owners.

For some reason the hotel's own website has not been updated for 2007.

Amazing stay in this cosy boutique hotel, staff is very welcoming, fantastic breakfast and nice and very clean rooms, dinner at their restaurant was sensational with Nicolas and Julie always going out of their way to make everything happen, we will be back soon, thanks for a lovely stay :)

The room was clean, beautiful and quiet at night.

Overall, the location of the hotel in a delightful part of a stunning village was superb, the hotel staff (excluding the management) were charming and friendly, while the interior design and cleanliness of the rooms and the hotel was a definite strength.

It is a comfortable rustic hotel in a beautiful setting with neat and clean rooms, albeit that some of the hotel shows its age - that is part of its charm.

but the rooms are small and poorly lit with worn fabrics and broken furniture.

The rooms are tiny and unfortunately not airconditioned so it was rather hot in the middle of July.

but the rooms are admittedly small, this is not a problem if you will be sightseeing during the day but when we returned the third time with our baby the room was really too small, so I would recommend if you are bringing children to definitely pay for ‘Superior Confort Double Room’ or a level above.

The bed was the same size and the room just a tiny bit smaller

but were disappointed by the tiny room and even smaller bathroom.

It was cold when I arrived and I was offered a hot water bottle to sleep with,

Each night, I was asked about my breakfast needs and I was offered a bottle of water (with fresh lime slices) to take to my room for the night.

The room is well-maintained and was spotless on arrival.

The reasons are many: Rupert and Christophe are very welcoming and they make you feel at home, their house is beautifully restored, the rooms are very clean, the place is really quiet and having breakfast in their garden is something that we’ll hardly forget.

The rooms were spotless, the interior design was very tasteful.

but its ability to invoke an  overwhelming sense of calm and relaxation is the true magic.

Gorges du Verdon was about an hour away and the coastal cities about the same.

Both cities were picturesque and we ended up seeing an 18 piece jazz band performance at l'Espace Culturel in Fayence that was unforgettable.

The rooms were clean, comfortable and just what we were after.

Rooms are clean, linens crispy white and soft - and the pool is amazing.

Our room was spotless, spacious and comfortable, with its own terrace overlooking the garden.

My only minor irritation was that the curtains did not fully close, the rail being set forward some 6 inches from the wall, allowing streams of sunlight through in the morning and in the evening those with the desire to look, a view, albeit very limited, into the bedroom.

but the rooms are basic – small with ensuite bathrooms but no tea/coffee making facilities,  no mini bar, safe or fridge and thin walls.

The only reason they don't earn another star from me is the pace of the meal was way too slow with not enough staff to even fill water glasses when empty.

It is a humble hotel, no tea or coffee in room, one bottle of water for four nights sort of thing,

The builing, once a water mill, is full of character.

The hot water took a long time to reach this room as it is at the far end of the building, this didn't bother us as the feeling of being separated from the hotel added to our pleasure.

however, the hot water did take a little time to come on however this seemed to add to the charm rather than deter.

I stayed with my partner and daughter in the adjoining rooms which shared a bathroom.

Rooms are spotless with lovely little touches like the pool basket.

Our room has been so clean and cozy and it was decorated with so many little beautiful details.

The only sounds are from birds and ciccadas, the only sights are of Provencal countryside. Idyllic.

Unluckily on our last day it had been extremely windy and a terrible coal smell came in from the bathroom fan.

There was no aircon and the temp of the room was intolerable.

We asked the waitress for details on the dish.

Our room was very clean and beds comfortable.

While visiting the area, by 2 daughters and I found ourselves with no place to sleep on a sunday night at nightfall.. And while driving around we found Hotel Bain in a small village named Comps.

There is a small terrace at the front of the Hotel.Free Wi-Fi for customers.

The accommodation was immaculately clean and we had a kitchenette (although we didn't need it for one night) and a pretty private terrace with table and chairs.

The wireless access not working in the rooms was a bit of a pain as the wifi was one reason we'd selected this hotel in the first place - they were planning to sort this out I think.

but am trying to praise them for their attentive service before I knew I had to cancel.

I was unable to make my trip to Clos de la Source this year,

but Bruno and Danièle, the owners, were waiting from us, like if they were waiting friends coming from far away.
